Took my car in on Thursday night, for check engine light, the free test at the auto store stated possible throttle body, so I got the car back Monday night. Took of for lunch to get my emissions done and the check engine light came back on the idle was 1800 rpm,. Took the car back the next day so they could look at it, another couple of hours of missed work now Finally they forgot to learn the car about the new throttle body, ok were off and running, took the car I the next day, crap, past my due date now for emissions , more fees and another couple of hours missed from work, but heck no check engine light, Guess it was good for only 2 more days, and now it's still on. Texted Sean about the problem and still no reply it's only been 2 weeks now. Summary when I went to pick up the car, there were spills running down the windshield soda? And the cover for the engine was in the back seat, oil and grease now in my back seats, so I had to wait to get the cover on. ** SUMMARY ** Spent well over $500 bucks, missed about 6 hours of work and had to pay for a lyft to get to work for 2 days and the check engine light is still on and the there is grease or oil stain on my back seat. I try to support small whenever possible as small business is the backbone of our communities. My experience was not great to say the least. My car was a little sluggish and needed some maintenance. I spent $2000 on regular maintenance suggested by Ace a for my mileage of 105k. It's my fault for not getting a second opinion on the price but they already had my car and I needed it back for work that week. The day after getting my car back my check engine light was on and the car ran worse than before. I called Ace and they asked I bring it back in. I dropped it off and then received a call about the check engine issues and a cost of $900 just in labor to confirm that is the issue. Needless to say I was upset. I understand coincidences happen but $250 an hour for labor when they're not even sure if that's exactly what's wrong. In trying to come to some type of understanding I was met with statements from Daniel that I would never say to my own customers. "Most insurances will pay for towing since you don't trust us to do the work." "We didn't break your car... at least I don't think we did." They did offer to do it for their fleet pricing of $116 an hour but I was just done at that point. We've had problems with the quality of work here ever since the business switched owners. We've taken our car here 3 times since then and all 3 times have had to go back for them to correct their work. We're now looking for another shop because 3 times was fair enough. read more

We had an issue with our brakes and decided to try out Ace Precision Auto for the first time and boy, were we impressed with the service! We did not have an appointment and yet they made sure to get our car looked at as soon as possible. We have a warranty on our SUV and Ace was more than happy to call them and get it figured out and get the best deal for us. Most places we have taken our car to in the past make it a big deal how no one likes to call those warranty numbers and how much of an inconvenience it is for them. Ace Performance Auto was more than willing to call and was even on the phone with them for 50 minutes! They ended up getting us a great deal and fixed our car in ONE day! We were so grateful for this as we only have the one car so to be without a car for any long period of time is a big hardship for us. WANKERS! I called several months ago - explained I was looking for a one-stop-shop to help me bring my 2006 Honda Ridgeline with 48K miles up to as much factory as possible - new paint, rims, lights, gaskets, etc. and a couple interior small repairs - someone put me in touch with the owner who returned my call the next day - he said he understood what I was looking for and why - directed me to bring my vehicle by to start on estimates - I took it by that Friday morning and spoke with Ray - Ray seemed to be on-board with the project and stated they would get started on the estimate process - weeks went by - I called Ray to check-in to make sure they were still with me since I had not heard anything back - Ray said that yes they were working on the paperwork and items - months have now passed and I still had not heard or seen any emails with anything - called last week spoke again to Ray - Ray said he was gonna get with the owner and call me back that afternoon - today, Monday and I still have not heard back from anybody from this company - I am at a age that getting jerked around is not something that I have time for on my yardstick of life. read more

I had a tire blow out and noticed the other 3 were about to do the same. I heard a lot of good things about Ace Performance so I went to check them out. Sean gave me a really good deal on 4 tires. While the car was there they found some other issues that I needed that I wouldn't have noticed on my own. Most tire places just slap on 4 tires and send you down the road. I had a weekday off of work which never happens and I had tried to get an oil change with my regular mechanic who usually only needs a couple hours notice and has told me I don't need to make an appointment but I guess they got busier. But anyway I called around to a few other places and Ace was the one that said that they could squeeze me in for an oil change that same day. they also had a really cool system where I got texted a list of all the items they checked including items that needed immediate attention (there were none). the most urgent item was that my battery tested low but they told me sometimes that test is not always completely accurate so that was nice to hear because they could have tried to charge me for a battery but they didn't. as a result I bought a battery tester on Amazon for $8 and now I know to keep an eye on it to try to avoid getting stranded. I appreciated both the service, honesty, and efficiency of this company, it was really neat to be able to get that text that showed everything they inspected as well. Thanks so much! read more

The most important thing to me when picking an auto repair shop is I want to feel I'm treated honestly. I felt Jamie Armstrong was honest with me. He told me which repairs were a potential safety issue and which were just annoyances that could more easily be left indefinitely. Jamie is also one of the most friendly guys I've met. The repair did take longer than I'd anticipated, but I did have them do extra stuff which wasn't on the list when I dropped the car off. The Most Honest Mechanics I've Ever Encountered I stopped by here because my Honda stealership tried to sell me a $300 cv boot repair, and I wanted to find a better price. Despite the fact that ACE could have just as easily sold me the same repair, they inspected the vehicle, found no cv tear, and informed me it was better to wait until it got worse before undergoing the repair. Pleased by their honesty, I wanted to have them do my alignment, which I was planning on doing with another shop. They asked me what issue I was having with my behicle, and, again, more honest than I could believe, they informed me that an alignment wasn't necessary. GO TO THIS SHOP! Saddens me that i have to do this because i have previously left a good review, but after the new owner/management took over i did not have the same experience. I have brought my truck in several times last year 2020 and i have spent almost 6,000 dollars for a truck that has yet to be fixed. I brought my truck in for several issues from the catalytic convertors, to air conditioning, to wiring, to simple oil changes. The AC / Heating went out in my truck and i have brought it in to get fixed SEVEN TIMES and every time they say "everything works great, good to go" and when i pick it up it does not work, it may work a little "better" but it is not in fact fixed. Seems like every time i bring my truck back there's always another part it needs that was not initially included in the first repair. Example the last time i brought my truck in they said i need to purchase a SECOND blower door for the back ac/heat because its stuck on heat and wont change to ac. As i am ready to spend even more money i drop my truck off they call me and say now another guy looked at it and its not the blower door its a manufactured part that they dont make anymore but he will keep searching for that new part and let me know a price and availability on that one. This was well before Christmas and still have not heard a word for anyone. I can give several examples and go on for hours with proof on how much money i have spent with half results. Examples as small as i brought my truck in 3 separate times for my running light that i paid for a repair that till this day doesn't work and their reason is the harness is loose and they cant get it to stay in place. I still paid for it and inconvenienced myself bringing it back. Theres not enough room to continue on about all the issues i have with these repairs and one may ask why i still went back to them and that's because i already paid for it !! So we will jump to the second part an even though this may not exactly be Ace fault they are the ones that took my truck to a "Stereo Shop" and i do not know who because they just had me pay Ace for everything. I purchase a brand new stereo because my out dated one would not work with my dvd / game boy player, and would not come on sometimes when i start my truck it would just give a blank screen. Long story short i purchased a new stereo, wireless head phones because they said thats why there is no volume, and new front speakers because they said the old ones were blown. To have my end result with my dvd/game boy player still not work, headphones i cant use, a stereo that still randomly wont turn on when truck is started and the best thing of all A BUSTED DASH ! Yes they cracked my dash! Even though i have already paid for my repairs i try to get in to get it fixed and they blow me off saying they are busy because of the Holidays and cant get me in. Still have not heard a word from them and the Holidays are over. Being a single mom of 4 kids, working TWO MINUTES from the shop, and passing the office manager every morning is not enough to get my truck fixed. I cant afford to go buy a new vehicle right now so i was trying to fix what i already owned to only have more problems than when i started. I am in the service industry so i understand theres a lot of new things going on but you still have to care about your work, your company, your name, your customers. Customers are what make your business. You guys wont even answer the phone half of the time when i call and you try pushing me off to one of your newer employees. I have all my receipts, pictures, and all my phone calls are recorded if anyone would like to see. Hopefully this gets your attention if not maybe it can help someone else from getting burned. read more

I have gone to ace for a few years now and have always had great service. But recently I took my lincoln ls in to have quite a few things fixed on it. Scott and Jamie are great guys and I believe they did a good job. They kept me in the know about everything. But at one point they said they wanted to replace the hose connecting to the hydraulic fan reservoir. They special made one because they said it wasn't available to order. It seemed like a solid deal I paid and left relieved knowing my car had been in good hands. The next day as I was idling my car suddenly overheated causing the coolant reservoir to bust (not the hydraulic fan reservoir.) I lifted the hood and saw that the hydraulic fan reservoir was bone dry. I had my father come pick me up and confirm it as well. Anyway I call ace they get the car and tell me it will be another 400 dollars to fix what just broke, which was the coolant reservoir. Unbeknownst to me the whole reason the car over heated and busted the coolant tank was because the hose they made to the hydraulic fan tank was leaking. They put in a new coolant tank gave me back the car and told me it was good. The next morning I found out about the leak and confronted them about it. They had looked the car over and gave it back to me without even realizing a part THEY put on was leaking. They were kind enough to fix the leak and seemed contrite. But when I asked for my 400 dollars back for paying for the new coolant tank seeing as how it was their negligence that caused the car to over heat and bust that reservoir. They said it was an old tank and that was the only reason it busted. I later went to the lincoln dealership and they confirmed my suspicions. ACE automotive caused my car to overheat because they didn't have a hose fully fastened and when I needed it fixed they charged me for it. I have taken my car, my girlfriends car, my mom, my sister and even my grandma's car there. But I will not return I appreciate them fixing the leak, but to not stand behind your work and return someone's money when you know it was your negligence that caused it is a gross misconduct in my opinion. read more
