I definitely understand the hype about Apocalypse BBQ!!! I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally got around to it a couple weeks ago! The evening we stopped by, Yelp was down and people were not able to join their waitlist virtually which caused the line to be even longer. But the staff were kind and passed out fries to those some of the people who were waiting outside. After a nearly 2 hour wait, we were seated and our server was great. The other servers and staff came to check on our table and the other tables around us multiple times as well, so overall I would say the restaurant gives really good service. They did well with making the decor fit the theme of the restaurant, even down to the faucets and knobs of the bathroom sinks. We were a little confused about the very loud electronic music that was playing throughout, but it didn't take away from our experience. My cousin and I ordered a half rack of cafecito ribs, the prime brisket, pulled pork, cowboy link, corn bread, coleslaw, French fries, mac & cheese and a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. The food was served within a matter of minutes which was great as we were very hungry after waiting a couple of hours, but it was also confusing because you would think the wait times wouldn't be so long if the service is so fast. Our favorite bites were definitely the cowboy link, pulled pork, coleslaw, cornbread & chocolate chip cookie, so you should definitely give those a try, but you can't go wrong because everything we ordered was delicious. The only thing I probably wouldn't reorder was the mac and cheese because it was just okay. Overall a great experience and if you're craving BBQ food, don't mind a little wait, and are in the area, I highly recommend giving Apocalypse a try! (Pro-tip if you use the Yelp waitlist it'll be much faster)

Really good bbq and love the corn bread. Would get the corn bread and ribs and chicken next time. The ambiance is very chill , definitely get a reservation however they can still call you earlier than waitlist says so be prepared.

THIS DEFINES MIAMI BBQ! Everything was perfect! I was lucky enough to sample most items. The ribs were my favorite, perfect taste and texture! The Brisket and chicken were done to perfection! Brisket and cheese empanada was an amazing starter. Service made me feel like I was in a 5 star restaurant. Absolutely the Best BBQ in Miami!

Although this place is a drive from where I live, it was so worth it. Arrive early as they don't take reservations. We got there right before they opened so we were seated fast and as we were walking in, we got greeted by every single staff person. Our server was super friendly and explained the dishes and made some recommendations. This is a bbq place with a twist. The twist is that they combine Latin flavors so the bbq is different. Very very tasty!! The cafecito ribs are rubbed in cafecito for example. The brisket bacon (starter) is pork belly that is seasoned like a brisket but fried like bacon! The corn bread is shaped as a skull which was super cool and unique. The place looks more like a dinner and plays loud music but it all works! Food is brought out in a timely manner as well. Definitely recommend!!

Solid place; get here early. Parking near it next to mall sucks. Most of your party has to be there. Brisket not bad; ribs, wings, bacon and sausage banger. Sweet and crispy side vs Texan smoke and spice side l. Would return. Only in South Fl would they have coffee coated ribs and skull shaped corn bread. Good waitstaff; nothing to complain about

After participating in a Yelp event last year for its sister restaurant, LaLa's, I finally had the full Apocalypse experience. And what better way to do your first run than to have your homies invite you out for your birthday! Pulled up on a Friday night at 8pm, no resy. There was a minimal wait (literally all of 10 mins total) and was offered a free beer while I waited, an Outlaw light from Colorado, which was actually pretty good. Got sat in the booth right in middle of joint and it was off to the races lol. This spot offers cocktails to get your appetite going, and make most ingredients that are going into your drinks in-house. All of the cocktails we had were good, which everyone was happy about. I started with an Atomic Passion, which was Mezcal and Passionfruit, followed by the Flamed Guava (also Mezcal). My friends had the Smoked Ember OF, and the Lavender Lady. For the chowdown, here's what we ordered: - Smoked Wings - Cafecito Ribs (Half-Rack) - 1lb Brisket - Cornbread Skullz (3) - Elote - Potato Salad - Baked Beans - Coleslaw - Kids burger con papitas Mac & Cheese was sold out unfortunately, but that just means we'll have to come back for it. Brisket and the potato salad were my favorite things out of the order. On a solo mission I would definitely order those two things again. Cornbread was as good as I had heard, also enjoyed the ribs. The "cafecito" touch was nice, don't recall seeing that anywhere else. The pickles get an honorable mention because they was PICKLING! They low-key tasted like cucumbers but sweet-ish. Slap a few on the Brisket and whoaaa Nelly! My homies' son enjoyed his burger and didn't let anyone take it or box it, he simply took his time enjoying. Nearing the end of our meal, I got caught off guard with a LOUD A$$ Happy Birthday Song and got properly embarrassed lol my friend joked that they turned the music off randomly and boom! Our server, Mikey, arranged everything seamlessly and we were graciously offered a shot by the management team. Big thanks to everyone for making it a fire first experience. Excited to come back for what didn't get in belly this time!

Look to be honest this place is a 6.5 out of 10. I loved the empanadas, the pull pork was finger licking good. No the corn bread was meh, I would prefer they put the honey on the side. The bacon brisket wasn't ny fav either and the mac and cheese was good but make sure you eat it fast because if ir gets cold it isn't as good. I will probably be back just for the empanadas and the margaritas but other than that it was meh! Service was great I believe my waiter was named Chris and he was amazing very talkative and detailed. The atmosphere was great loved the music.

First things first HOLY MOLY! The staff is incredible, treating you like family, making sure you're happy with everything and attending to you pretty often. The inside is cozy giving old school diner vibes but with a modern twist. The food is divine, there wasn't a single item I wouldn't recommend. I'm also not a coffee guy and let me tell you, their cafecito rub and sauces are INSANE! Everything is tender, full of flavor. Cornbread is amazing, beans were amazing, Mac and cheese was amazing, def recommend the loaded one. But the wings, my goodness, we ended up ordering a second serving of them. To end it all with the cookies, let's just say well worth.

Wow! don't judge this joint by the outside-- as soon as you walk in, it's this surprisingly cool restaurant vibe with a bar. SO Worth the wait! Delicious, great service -- will be back:)

We finally decided to brave the lines and try this very popular place. The good thing is that although they don't take reservations, they allowed us to get on the wait list online. But, we still had to wait an hour. They're very nice, they have free water and you're able to order drinks while you wait. But, as expected, the food (although very good) was not worth the wait. We ordered the platter and the meat was dry. The corn was delicious and so was the mac & cheese. The service was very friendly, and the food actually came out pretty quickly once we finally sat down. If you can go with little or no wait, definitely worth a try but don't expect spectacular food!

First time here a little hiccup with the table but quickly resolved. Apocalypse BBQ doesn't disappoint. The BRISKET out of this world. The cafecito RIBS from the moon EXCELLENT. Mac and Cheese so cheesy yummy. Cole slaw a bit dissatisfied needs a bit more flavor. They have a good selection of beers and cocktails. Overall magnificent. We recommend.

Amazing experience. Having had such a great experience in a very long time. I forgot I was in Miami Service was superb. Tati went above and beyond. She was super sweet. Honestly, Everyone was super polite., happy and attentive. Great casual and friendly atmosphere. Food was outstanding. The hype is real! Meats were just juicy and delicious. Mac and cheese was also very tasty. Everything was served warm and perfectly cooked. Friday specials were a great deal with $10 sandwiches and $1 PBR beer. Will visit again!

One of the best wings I have had in a very long time if you have not come here and try these wings I'm not sure what you're doing when you are in Miami. You have to come and try the wings on Wednesdays it's dollar wings so that's a pretty good deal for how good they are. The friend I had with me did have the brisket and that was pretty good. A little bit fatty for my taste but flavor was fantastic. The only thing that is kind of a down for this place is the fact that they don't have as many beers as I thought they would but they have your typical bottled beers and some canned ones. read more

Our all-time favorite barbecue place! From the friendly staff to the AMAZING FOOD, you have to try it out. I recommend going early, as some items on the menu may sell out. Be prepared to wait in line, but just know that at the end of the wait, you'll get to enjoy some incredible barbecue! They also offer free soda, water, and beer while you wait to be seated, which is a nice touch. I give it a 10/10 recommendation! read more

This place is the yummiest bbq place in town. Highly recommend. Good service all around. We sat at the bar and the attention from Pablo and Anthony was excellent. The flamed guava is my favorite. But their midnight crimson is a different version of a smooth margarita. Baked beans are delicious and Mac & cheese the creamiest I've tried. Expect to wait but it will be worth it. read more

As I write this review, it makes me sad that I have to give this experience a 1 star review. To begin, I came to this restaurant in October.. had the best experience, food was on point, service was great.. the first time we waited an hour for a table.. no big deal because we really wanted to try it after hearing so many good reviews and we came from Broward which is a drive... first time was a five star experience.. Now here is where things changed for us.. we arrived at to this establishment and were quite surprised that it wasn't as busy.. I put my name on the waiting list and in no time, BOOM! Table ready! We were seated at exactly 9:01pm. A waitress did not come to our table until 9:19. I was actually waiting for 9:20 to leave, which I should have considering our experience was below average :(.. one of the employees wearing a hat kept walking around our table and finally when he saw we were patiently waiting, he didn't greet us, rather, he gave my husband a head nod... I felt the service from The beginning was a bit off, but since I had a good experience the first time, I thought, I should just wait it out..Big Mistake! We ordered all our food.. food came out with good temperature and within good timing.. I ordered the wings, since that's the only thing I can eat on the menu... the wings came out burnt.. (pictures included for reference).. I ordered a Mac and cheese, and it was dry and flavorless .. the cornbread.. ehhh.. nothing to brag about.. my husband ordered a boar burger, sadly that was a huge disappointment as it was very dry and required the little amount of BBq sauce they provided ... my husband ordered a margarita and again nothing to brag about.. Overall, the presentation was below average.. the service.. below average... food... below average. I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant this evening. If you're the manager and you're reading this, please don't take my review the wrong way.. as a returning customer, I think it is right for me to be truthful about my experience.. and I hope you can use this review to reflect on some changes that can be made... perhaps it was an off day for everyone and Yes, we all have those days right? We probably will not be back to this establishment, but I do wish them all the best and hope they can make the changes needed so they can keep their business going. read more

This is not a drill. Apocalypse BBQ is the real end-of-days flavor bomb. The beef ribs here are prehistoric in size and flavor -- perfectly barked, insanely tender, and smoked like someone's life depended on it. I swear they're doing dark magic back there. The corn? Absolute sleeper hit. Charred, buttery, salty-sweet -- somehow just as memorable as the meat. Line might be long, parking might be tight, but none of that matters once you get your tray. It's Miami BBQ with attitude and it absolutely delivers. read more

Come hungry, leave questioning your life choices--in the best way. If you're into meat sweats and pants with an elastic soul, this is your spot. The empanadas? Little pockets of joy. The ribs? A glorious mess worth every napkin. Loved the free beer while waiting--classy move. Pro tip: grab a seat at the bar while you wait unless you enjoy marinating in outdoor heat. Not ideal for a first date unless you're trying to test boundaries early. But if you're married or just comfortable enough to eat like a caveman, this is where love (and buttons) go to die. Staff was friendly, service was solid, and I left full, happy, and mildly ashamed. 10/10 would do it again. read more

My first visit to Apocalypse was at their old location at Killian Greens golf course. It was cramped, the wait was long, and the food was just ok. This time, at their new 190 seat restaurant my experience was outstanding. Coming in on a Friday for lunch at 11:15AM my wait was only 7 minutes. Parking is tight, but the parking angels blessed me with a close in space! Once inside, we were warmly greeted and seated by the hostess in a comfortable booth. The decor is minimalist chic with wood floors and metal siding. As our server was busy, the enthusiastic busboy was able to provide water and take our drink and app order. Our app was the "smokifried" chicken wings. These are among the best wings I've ever had; the meat easily came off the bone and their proprietary spice and cafecito rub was superb. I got a half rack of cafecito ribs and they were just as uniquely tasty as the wings. They were very meaty and if you as much as nudged them with a fork, the meat came tumbling off the bone! My spouse had the brisket. Not as BBQ of a taste as the ribs, but a nice comfort food umami nonetheless. She had a side of cornbread in the shape of a skull(!) that was very delicious. I had the eloté and it was the best I've ever had and I've tried it at some of the most acclaimed Tex-Mex restaurants in Houston. Outstanding! Our server was attentive and informative about the menu, and the bus staff was quick to whisk away any dishes. I washed my meal down with a nice IPA from local brewery Tripping Animals. I thought that $34 for a half rack was a bit high of a price point, but the adage "you get what you pay for" certainly applies in this case. All in all my experience showed that Apocalypse lives up to the hype. Best of luck to Jeff & Laura at this great new location in Kendall! read more

Wow Miami BBQ, love it. Jeff really put his heart into this food and you can taste it. It's personal with Miami in mind featuring a Carolina mojo sauce and the Cuban coffee rub UUFFF. I love that it's a small place and feels like home. The fact that things run out just means that there's quality control through and through, not frozen food. Nothing fancy, no frills, just good ass bbq and a perfect chocolate chip cookie (imo). Definitely a jewel! read more

Wow, just wow. I have been craving barbecue so badly and I found this spot on tiktok and let me just say the photos don't even do it justice. FALL OFF THE BONE TENDER. The ribs were by far the star of the show. Not that the pulled pork and brisket weren't good, they definitely were good, but I wish we had skipped them and just ordered more ribs. Mac n cheese could've gone without, it was good I'm just not a Big Mac n cheese fan. The cornbread and coleslaw were also great. the wings were #2 best thing, best wing I've ever had, my friends agreed too. Best rib of all of our lives and I've had a lot of great bbq. Can't miss this spot, waitress was also very friendly and helpful. Go here! It's well worth the drive, we only waited an hour. Oh and the free beer while waiting was a great touch. My prayers have been answered! Finally a true BBQ place in Kendall area. Apocalypse BBQ puts in the work and time to make a beautifully tender, delicious Brisket; best brisket I've ever had! Growing up in Miami we really only had Shivers and Shortys and while they had their moments in the sun, sad to say they have been going downhill for a while. Now with Apocalypse BBQ set up in the Kendall Village shopping plaza it's conveniently located right off the Turnpike exit on 88th Street. Like any true bbq, you need to come early! Brisket will run out! It's too good!!! I'd recommend visiting on a weekday (closed Monday-Tuesday) before noon time for a minimal 20-30 minute wait time. Another place worth mentioning is Smoke & Dough, but honestly the flavor prize goes to Apocalypse BBQ for the Brisket win! read more

Definitely be prepared to wait, they told us our wait would be an hour and 15 minutes but it was actually closer to an hour and 35 minutes. Once we were seated at our table the waitress attended us quickly, which was great because we were starving. We ordered the cafecito wings and empanadas to start, which were both excellent. For the main course the four of us shared a platter that comes with 1.5 pounds of meat and 2 sides. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the cornbread had a perfect blend of sweet and salty. After we ordered the service went down hill, with our waiter seeming to actively avoiding our table. Thankfully another server saw us struggling and got us refills and more napkins (it would be nice if they offered wet wipes at the end of the meal). The music was a bit unnecessarily loud at times, which made it difficult to hear others at the table. I also didn't like that we were not offered a copy of the check before paying, the waiter just swiped the card and handed it to us on the tip screen. read more

Phenomenal cafecito bbq ribs! Likely, one of the best ribs I've ever had. The wait was about 45 mins on a Sunday & they have a STRICT 5 minute grace period by when your party must be present. If you're searching this place up, chances are you already know all about it, so I won't get into how good everything is because we already know... so what I'll do instead is, describe what I had, my experience, and my suggestions for your visit! Firstly, just to quickly address the folks complaining about waiting for a table, or not being able to reserve a spot, when a BBQ spot is as popular as this, those systems do not work, only first come first served work. So unfortunately if you want your EXCELLENT BBQ fix, !!!YOU!!! have to make the effort to go early. 4PM on a Friday is not considered early. Example of this system is Franklins BBQ in Austin, people wait outside from like 8am just to get a spot in the line that already started...luckily apocalypse does not have that problem YET. Just put in the effort and complain less, they are doing what they can to ensure QUALITY over QUANTITY. Anyways!!!! Starting off with experience, the flavors, quality and portions are great!!!. The people are hard working and try to make your visit a great one. It's clean, family friendly, and great music. The vibe is lively, you can just tell everyone is there to have a good time and enjoy a great meal, it fills the air with a positive static. I went with my significant other and we ordered half rack of ribs, pork belly, one corn bread, slaw, and Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent! More than enough for two, we ended up taking half of the half rack home. Usually people may overlook cornbread as just a simple side, WRONG, it's a main character here, a must get ALWAYS; it's sweet, soft, almost like a tamal de elote, perfect, I regret only getting one. Pork belly, amazing, it was so easy to pull apart, flavorful, sweet and salty, marinated in JUPIÑA, I sandwiched a chunk in the white bread slices they give you, amazing. The cafecito ribs were excellent well done ribs, flavorful and another staple. Always get the slaw, it's refreshing and a good reset button from all the savory flavors, a palate cleanser. Pro tip, ask for extra bread slices, make mini sandwiches with your meats, a true Texas BBQ trick/style of eating. Also, if you want to ensure a spot, GO EARLY, I got there around noon on a Saturday and was seated within 30 mins even though the wait was advised 1.5 hrs. Another pro tip, CHECK THE BAR AREA when you go early, we got there and it was EMPTY, quickly filled once lunch hour hit, but I'll probably opt for that the next time I go. The service was so nice. Ambiance is a small good ole fashion barbecue pit where you smell the smoked beef. The food was good. Cafecito rubbed ribs and brisket. My fav part was their cornbread. I have to admit I like baby back saucey ribs that fall off bone. That's not what I found here. All and all it's ok but for the money I spent, I'd rather go elsewhere. Came today after visiting the beach and we thankfully got in quickly (about 10-15 minutes) because there were seats available at the bar. The inside is your typical rustic bbq spot decor, though it was pretty hot inside (maybe I was just craving AC since it was a furnace outside). The food was mostly delicious...the Mac and cheese was so delicious, as were the ribs. The brisket was so tender and flavorful and paired perfectly with the accompanying sauce. We thought the slaw was okay (if a bit overpriced) same goes for the brisket bacon. We did not like the corn bread which was quite dry and we expected a bit more for the $6 price tag. The Boss hamburger was insanely good (and we have a lot of burgers, so we are very picky). I would definitely visit again to try other dishes, but I would recommend it and say that Apocalypse is worth a visit! read more

The Highlights: The beef carpaccio was excellent truly one of the best I have ever tried! The pasta and salad was also very good. The atmosphere is really nice with a super fun, distinct Miami vibe. The drinks were good, and the service was absolutely great throughout the night. The Verdict While the apps, drinks, and service were on point, a steakhouse needs to deliver a phenomenal steak. I wouldn't badmouth the place because nothing was inherently "bad," but I will definitely never wait weeks for a table here again. It just isn't worth the hype.

Please don't pay attention to those folks who give low ratings just because they had to wait or couldn't order every single item on the menu. Can't snag a seat in under an hour? Can't handle a line or a bit of a crowd? Well, guess what? There's a famous Dave's in Doral for that. There's no need to bother a locally owned and operated BBQ joint just because your expectations are a tad unreasonable. Let me tell you a little story. My hubby and I drove a good 40 minutes to get there, arriving at 7:30PM on a Thursday. Lo and behold, the pulled pork and brisket were already sold out. And if we wanted a table, we'd have to wait for a good 40 minutes, only to find out the ribs would be gone too. But that's BBQ for ya, baby! So we happily ordered some food to go, trying everything we could get our hands on. We grabbed a rack of ribs, a plate of chicken wings, some onion rings, cole slaw, and Mac. And boy, was it all incredible! We chowed down in the car parked at the 7/11 next door, surrounded by napkins and slurpies. While we waited outside, the pitmaster was a super friendly dude. He answered all of our questions about his favorite dishes and even gave us the lowdown on apocalypse BBQ style. The food was top-notch. But here's the deal: if you want good BBQ, you've gotta be flexible, willing to wait and accept that some things might be sold out. It's just the way it goes in this type of cuisine. We expected a long wait, so we arrived about 30 minutes after opening and only ended up waiting a couple of minutes. Totally worth it! From the moment we sat down, the service was amazing. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and took the time to explain everything on the menu. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and honestly, my pictures do not do the food justice. The Smokafried Wings with the cafecito rub and Oro Negro sauce were unbelievable. Crispy, flavorful, and loaded with that rich Oro Negro sauce -- easily some of the best wings I've had. I would honestly come back just for these wings and maybe another order of the Cafecito Ribs. Speaking of the Cafecito Ribs... these were the most tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Absolutely incredible. We also tried the brisket empanada, which was delicious. And the cornbread!!! I loved everything about it -- from the skull design to the honey-filled eyes. It's dense, flavorful, and completely unique. Even the coleslaw was excellent. Overall, everything was a 10/10. Parking in the area can be challenging, but we managed to find a spot. Upon arriving we had stand in a line, were we checked in by providing our name and number. While we waited, we were offered complimentary water and beer, which was a nice touch. We were initially informed that the wait would be around 45 minutes to an hour. However, since it was hot and crowded, we decided to step away from the restaurant to find some relief. Even with the free beverages, Miami's heat was overwhelming. To our surprise, we received a text and a call within 30 minutes, instructing us to return within 5 minutes with our entire party. Unfortunately, we got back to the restaurant in 10 minutes, only to find that we had missed our table and were told we would be seated at the next available spot. We ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes to be seated, despite noticing several open chairs at the bar and booths. It seemed unfair that missing our call for the table put us at the back of the line when we could have easily been accommodated at the bar. As for the food, it was disappointing. We both ordered the brisket sandwich, but mine was overly salty, while my husband's lacked flavor. Overall, our experience fell short of expectations. read more

We were offered water or beer while we waited and that was nice especially since it was so hot outside! Anyone arriving without being on the waitlist was being told over an hour wait! I highly recommend doing that! We tried different food this time and just like the first time, it was amazing! The brisket bacon was delicious, and the mustardy dipping sauce was the perfect pairing. My family and I, just finished having lunch at your restaurant. We had Michael Angelo as our server. He was very knowledgeable, charismatic, and great in servicing our table of 6. We had decided to celebrate my dad's Father's Day early, due to my daughter and I currently living in California. We're only in town for a couple more days and wanted to take him out somewhere for some good barbecue. Our experience from the moment we met the host, we're seated and met Michael, the manager Angela and the team... has been extremely exceptional. They even went above and beyond and gifted my father the sweetest Father's Day card that was hand written and signed by the entire staff?! They gifted him 2 delicious chocolate chip cookies as a small token of his celebration, it shows that they're a true believer in wanting their customers feel welcomed and happy. So what's the hype about ? My recent visit to Apocalypse BBQ left me questioning the hype surrounding this place. The extended wait times don't justify the experience. You can easily be waiting for a table for more than 2 hours. On a positive side, the staff was kind and they offer free beer to ease the wait. However, the joy was short-lived. Being part of a sizable party, we sampled various items on the menu, only to find the food's quality not aligning with its high prices. What's more, the refusal to allow modifications was frustrating--I couldn't even get pickles removed from my burger. The main letdown was the overall taste; the dishes were overly salty and greasy, lacking the flavors that once made this place enjoyable. The sides, while pricey, were disappointingly small. The fried corn stood out as the only redeeming item on the menu, and it was the only thing I could genuinely enjoy. Honestly amazing food. Definitely, the best BBQ I've ever had in a while; the wings are truly amazing, cooked well and the cafecito rub is delicious. I would seriously recommend the ribs as well, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. We're there fairly regularly, and the service is always on point, plus they greet you with a free beer at the door if there's a wait... and be prepared for a wait as the place is popular, but it's always worth it. The restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate a larger party for us as a celebration meal after my wife and I married a couple of months ago, and they've gone above and beyond since on every subsequent visit. If you're a fan of smoked brisket and burgers, Apocalypse Barbecue is a must-visit spot in town. Their meats are cooked to perfection, with a delicious smoky flavor that'll have you coming back for more. In my opinion, they definitely serve the best brisket and burgers in town. However, a word of caution: make sure to get there early because they tend to run out of food quickly (Because of how good these are). Also, keep in mind that they frequently change their menu, so don't get too attached to any particular item. Despite the occasional menu changes and limited availability, Apocalypse Barbecue is absolutely worth the visit. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff and great service. And of course, the food is amazing. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Apocalypse Barbecue if you're in the mood for some top-notch smoked meats and burgers. On opening night, we visited the new Tuesday Popup ay Apocalypse Humo Tacos. The attention and service were amazing. Even the manager was actively assisting with orders. The restaurant was packed with customers, and the line extended out the door. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Humoritas (Margaritas), which were among the best we have ever had. On the food side, the flavor and quality of the tacos were comparable to those of the Apocalypse menu. We sampled the brisket and pork tacos, both of which were exceptionally high-quality and matched the other Apocalypse BBQ menu items. However, the value for money felt somewhat limited. Tacos are priced at $6 each for any of the four choices, and the portion sizes of brisket or pulled pork were modest. We were also interested in trying the churros dessert, which was recommended by the table next to us, but it was unfortunately sold out. read more
