A beautiful Burbank gem. It is my go-to breakfast burrito spot. Get extra salsa for sure on the side. Their burgers are pretty good too and their fries are perfectly seasoned and crispy. I don't get why this place doesn't have more stars, at least food wise. Ambiance wise it's a little "hole in the wall" ish and there is a small parking lot so I suggest doing take out. read more

I seriously do not understand the positive reviews on this place! Y'all need to go find a Jim's burgers ASAP or some other place of the likes. This place is absolutely terrible. I was literally shocked to see my breakfast served on a paper plate. A PAPER PLATE! I ordered the #2 since I originally intended to order a #3 with ham. Guess what. Apparently, they no longer serve the ham. It may be a good idea to update your menu or at least add some sort of note. So, I opted for 4 sausages to go along with my #2 (toast, has brown, 2 eggs and 4 bacon strips or 4 sausages) and an OJ. Well since the order was served on a paper plate you can imagine how small the portions were. It literally looked like a kids meal. The food was disgusting. Think of a random cafeteria or even a hospital. That's what I would compare the food to. Nothing special and much less not worth spending $12 on. I'm more satisfied when I eat a breakfast combo from Jack in the Box with the mini pancakes! I looked this place up before coming and I still gave it a try despite the low stars only because I'm doing a training for work across the street. The dude at the front was not welcoming at all and there is no decor inside whatsoever. Not sure if they are going through an ownership or management change but it sure seems that way. Nevertheless, no matter what it's served on or of it's smaller portions than what's expected, if the food you order is actually good then that's what matters. Sadly, at this poor excuse of a restaurant the food was NOT GOOD. Y'all praising the burrito I feel bad for you. Obviously you've never had a real breakfast burrito. Maybe it's cuz this place is in Burbank, idk. I will definitely look for other places to eat even if I have to drive in 90 degree weather during my week long training across the street. read more

After new ownership, this place has really cleaned up, reconstructed the whole interior so it looks beautiful. As for the food and customer service it's only gotten better from the previous owners. This has become one of my weekly stops, highly recommend for anyone wanting to stop by for a good burrito or burger. read more

Geez Apollo's... I've been a customer here for YEARS and you can't give me a side of salsa?? I went this morning just to pick up some salsa as my wife had brought home burritos earlier and forgotten it. The INCREDIBLY RUDE young lady at the window refused to give me some. I even offered to pay. What the hell are you in business for if you don't SELL your product. Don't let it go to your head. I am Mexican and perfectly capable of making my own (which is honestly better anyway) and when I'm short on time, like this morning, I'll be going down the street to Corner Cottage from now on. What made me think that is because they've never had steak breakfast burritos but now they do and the people behind the counter are different. I went to this place twice foods ok not the best but convenient today I went there and order a burrito with hash browns waited for 15 mins to watch everybody order after me and leave before so I walked to the counter and stood there till the cashier asked me can I help u !! Apollo Restaurant is a great place for breakfast and lunch. I love there breakfast burritos and burgers. I had the cheeseburger combo today. I usually call it in before going there so its ready when i get there:) there really busy in the morning and lunch time. There is one female associate who is really nice there. the owners are usually there (eather the husband or wife) wife is nice. husband is okay not really. Its a clean place fresh food. There fries are delicious. I always ask for the secret sauce its spicy:) i love there ranch and thousand island (on the side) with my fries and burger. They charge extra for it and its worth every penny. I asked to use the restroom today they gave me the key which was on a long medal rope tied together. i felt disgusted to use it. plus you have to walk around and pass the coffee shop in the back. Restroom was not that appealing. there was graffiti and no tissue paper in there. i will make sure i use hand sanitizer or wash my hands before going there. But overall i love there food will be back soon. read more

My dad and I came here every Saturday for breakfast for the past few months. It's on our way to work, and it was convenient. The employees have always been a little rude but this time it was over the top and we will never go back again. Normally we order their breakfast burritos, and during the time they take to fill our order my dad usually fill coffee into his thermos and always leave very nice tips. On our last visit one of the employees said he couldn't do that, and that he needs to fill into a cup then fill into his thermos. We told them that we have been coming every saturday for the passed few months and its never been an issue. The employee without hesitation just turned around and said well don't come anymore. I feel sorry for the owner of this establishment, i prefer Corner Cottage in Burbank over this place any day, but only because of convenience we came to Apllo. I get much better treatment and food at Corner Cottage. Never coming here again. read more

They aren't very warm or friendly so just a heads up, it's been that way for the many years I've been coming here. Couldn't hurt to greet customers with a smile. I really like this place. I lived within walking distance for about 15 years and would go all the time for the patty melts and my girlfriend was always there for the breakfast sandwiches. It's small, unassuming, dated, little bit run down but if you read my reviews you'll know I don't care if the paint's peeling and the table were bad decor even in the 70's from whence they came--so long as the effort is put back into the food, I'm fine with the look of the place. Such is the case with Apollo. You walk up to the counter inside or the window outside, place your order and sit down at a table inside or a bench outside and wait. You can see the big, open kitchen and watch while they make your food, I like that--some little place like this everything is hidden and the weird cook with the cold sore could be dancing on your food back there but not so here. You can see everything and know it's clean and they're doing things right. When the food gets there the meat is done right, the cheese is melted, the bread isn't soggy, the fries are tasty--this is a good meal. You can't really go wrong here. My only negative would be the lack of a soda fountain but the refills are free, you just need to ask. Give this place a whirl, you'll like it. read more

I always come here for breakfast burritos and they really are great. The only problem I have is with the lack of proper customer service. The lady who picks up the phone ALWAYS gives attitude! ALWAYS! If you decide to place a large order to pick up, they will almost NEVER prepare it prior to your arrival because they seem to be scared of you not showing up. I always have to CONVINCE them to prepare my food and promise them that I will show up.
