I used to live off Desert inn & Jones so I used to get chicken Pad Thai from the flamingo restaurant. I recently moved off W. Sahara & Fort Apache so I placed my chicken Pad Thai order for pick up at their restaurant in that shopping center. When I would pick up my order at the other Archi's on flamingo (I ordered once a week for years) I'd ask for some extra crushed peanuts, they'd smile and go grab two containers & say enjoy. The first time I ordered at the Archi's off Sahara & Fort Apache, when I picked up my order I asked for some crushed peanuts and they said extra crushed peanuts are $3. Very disappointing. You pay about $18 after tax for Pad Thai, some rice noodles & chicken, and if you eat in the restaurant they give you or should give you extra if you want them at no extra charge. I like their food so I will order again & ask for extra peanuts and if they say they are going to charge me for extra crushed peanuts, I will cancel my order and they will lose a long time customer. read more

My first time dining at Archi's and I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard great things about their food and when my friend suggested lunch here I jumped on it. Reservations are required and the tables are socially distanced only a max of four per table. Temperature checks upon arrival and masks required. The cafe is spotless and everyone was very friendly and attentive. I was happy to discover that they offer beer and wine. The lunch specials are unbeatable. I enjoyed a Hofbrau Hefe Weizen and my friend and I proceeded with ordering three lunch specials. The Pad Thai w/ chicken spice level 6 was my favorite. I could step the heat up and order an 8 next time out of 10. Beef with broccoli was tender and satisfying. Shrimp fried rice was tasty but the shrimp seemed a little over cooked. All three dishes are served with an egg roll & wonton accompanied with an amazing sweet and sour dipping sauce that was sticky honeylicious. The mushroom soup as a starter was hearty and perfect. I believe I have found a new favorite lunch place in Archi's. The lunch special prices are very reasonable and can't be beaten. Win Win!! Post covid-19 review: Dining room is open for table service. Every other table is closed off, plenty of social distance, well beyond 6'. Host will take your temp prior to seating you. Since we were walking outside from across the parking lot, I was at 101° and was told to wait a few minutes to cool down and once I was under 100° we were seated. Service was quick and food came out really fast as well. The food itself is great tho a little pricey. Many dishes don't come with meat and a basic add on of chicken (white meat) or pork is an additional $2. I really enjoyed my stir fried glass noodle w pork and there was a good amount of meat. It doesn't really look like it from the picture but it was definitely enough to take home. I'd skip the egg rolls next time. Four rolls for $5.95 with no meat inside is a little steep and I didn't find them seasoned that well. It's a beautiful space, but the location I'm sure is what contributes to the higher prices and lack of more Asian clientele. There are so just many choices for food in this plaza, many of which are Asian eateries that I think it would have to be a phenomenal experience to come back, tho there is nothing inherently bad about this place, hence my 3 stars--A-OK! read more

Food 5/5, but service tonight was a disaster. We came at 8:40pm and we are aware that last call is at 9:20pm and service might be a bit slow due to cleaning up. But holy! We walked in and was not acknowledged for around at least 5 min. and there was a lady that's just cleaning. Then later she looked us and gave us a side eye and sat us down like we owed her. As the second we sat down, the server came and asked us if we are ready to order, I get it the last call is in 30 min and they are trying to clean up, but we just felt rushed the entire time. We got our food and it was great. Everything tasted amazing, but it just felt like we were ignored and rushed. All they wanted for us was to get out of there. Depressing! read more

First, to be fair, our review is based on the 2 dishes that we ordered. Overall, the service was very good, but the dishes we ordered were tasteless. They do not taste like Thai food. They need more Thai seasonings and are too Americanized. They should be improved or removed from the menu. We were very disappointed. Rad Nar Descriptions: Wide rice noodle pan-seared with a touch of sesame oil, topped with your choice of meat and Chinese broccoli, in our special brown gravy sauce. Price $17.95 with shrimps. This dish has more gluey sauce than the noodles. Plus, it was tasteless. It needs to have some Thai basil or some cilantro. The noodles and veggies were swimming in a thick sauce. The entire big bowl is the gooey, sticky sauce. It should be called gooey soup, not noodles. It very strange to eat. Please do not order this dish. If you do, tell them no sauce. The dish is overpriced for having mostly sticky sauce. Chicken Noodle Soup Descriptions: Clear chicken broth with rice noodles, sliced chicken, bean sprouts, cilantro, and green onion. $14.95 This dish has mostly rice noodles. Yes, a giant bowl of rice noodles with very little bean sprouts, cilantro, and green onions. The amount of chicken meat is OK. It tastes like chicken both with a lot of noodles. It needs more Thai seasoning such as basils and cilantro or lemongrass. It has very little bean sprouts. American chicken soup has more veggies. It needs a BIG improvement by adding more herbs, veggies, and Thai seasonings but cut down the rice noodles by half. It does not taste like Thai food at all. Every time I have dined in - whether the group has been large or small - the service has always been a little spotty and food can come out very slow. On the other hand, the food is always great and it's still great if it's take out. Their lunch specials are awesome and I love their beef pad see ew and stuffed chicken wings. Also love their spicy basil! Their pad thai is better when you dine in, but, it's not as dry as I would prefer it to be, however, the portions, whether dinner or lunch, are great for the price. We've been coming here for years now and we prefer the rainbow location but we go here every now and then when we're in the area. The food is good but pretty inconsistent. We've had times where the pad thai was so sweet and times where we ask for spice level 1 and it was so spicy. Unfortunately we had a bad experience yesterday. The servers were nice. We ordered mango sticky rice and when i went to pick up a mango, i saw that it didn't look too good so i picked up another one and it looked worse. So i flipped all the other slices of mango and oh my it was such a bad mango. I can't believe they thought it would be acceptable to serve that! They hid the bad side and placed it facing down which is so unprofessional. Opted for the chicken satay, cucumber salad, pad thai, fried rice, wonton soup. - nothing disappointed at all. The wonton soup was my highlight for the night, as honestly it is one of my fav dishes. We order the silver noodle salad, beef chow mein, beef jerky, and Thai beef noodle soup. Everything was so delicious, except the soup. I forced myself to eat it because I hate wasting food but my goodness, it was terrible. Not even gonna lie. Trash. Actual Trash. I would have put 5 stars despite the soup, but one of the servers. The Pad Thai was dry and had no taste, and the wontons had good flavor but for ten dollars they should have some filling and not just fried skins. The parking can get busy due to the surrounding businesses and movie theater, but it's usually never a problem. The service is always quick, efficient, and super accommodating. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food... the food is great. Everything comes out consistent... so when you go in and order it again, it's going to come out the same way as before (unless you modify). This place has really good food. However I just showed up at 9:25 and was denied service and they were still open until 10. They wouldn't seat us or allow us to order take out. I remember when I was a server, if a party of 2 or 10 showed up 5 minutes before closing we were supposed to still serve them. So just lazy in my opinion. Started out good and quickly went downhill. Our app came out quickly. And then my boyfriend's meal came out and they said mine would be right out. 25 minutes later my meal is delivered to our table. So although we were sitting next to each other at the same restaurant, we did not have dinner together. Really disappointed. Apparently another server took my meal so they had to start over with mine. No accommodation or offer for my wait. At this point they knew I was VERY unhappy so they did everything to avoid our table. Which meant no water, no cocktails, no nothing! This was our first visit to Archie's and definitely our last.
