We had the idea of a food truck, and saw that Pizza Parliament was a reputable business. Everything was fine in the initial booking, but leading up to the day, everything began to unravel. Leading up to the wedding, Pizza Parliament demonstrated a level of unprofessionalism that has no place of belonging in the food industry, especially for a life-changing event like a wedding. When working with catering services, you expect sound communication, reliable service, and a sense of relief as if everything would be taken care of. None of these were provided by Pizza Parliament. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, we tried to reach out and seek confirmation; We called, texted, and thoroughly tried to calm our nerves. On June 3rd, they finally confirmed that they planned on showing up on our wedding day. On June 7th (the Day of the wedding), an hour before the ceremony, they reached out, only to confirm a wedding nightmare scenario: They told us that their truck had broken down, and there was no way they could make it to our wedding, leaving us to our own devices, now scrambling to figure out how to feed 150 hungry guests. Pizza Parliament only gets one star (instead of zero) because they refunded our money rather quickly, but as far as service, expertise, and overall communication go, it is some of the most unprofessional behavior I have ever seen from a business. We ordered two pizzas and breadsticks. The pizzas took about 45 minutes to make. The pepperoni is a classic and was okay and the chicken pineapple pizza had a great amount of toppings but we definitely wouldn't get that again. The flavor wasn't there and it was cold very different from the pepperoni as far as cheese pull and temperature. I also didn't care for the corn on the pizza. Prices felt high because of the size of the pizza (fits on a dinner plate) and in comparison to ordering from other local or food chain pizza places. We paid $47 total. Overall I think our experience could have been better.
