I came here for the first time (hopefully, not the last) with an Armenian friend. Some of the items are named differently. I know these baked goods with their Armenian and Turkish name, same thing with my friend. We found ourselves using Google to help us decipher what's what. We were greeted by an Armenian grandma. She's so sweet. She was running the show by herself. Manning the counter and baking. There's a tray of freshly baked cookies and she was making a batch of apricot cookies. We got the baklava, cigar cookies, and Megruli. I had to wait 15 minutes for the Megruli (think cheese pizza with the cheese inside the crust and on top of the crust). She was making them fresh and it was worth the wait. It's huge! We did half Nutella, and half walnuts on the cigar cookies - they're delightful. The baklava was good. It was 90+ degrees outside. The lemon helps provide acidity when combined together leaves for a killer combo. This is my go to! We also tried the adjaruli and it was so good. If you like bread and melted cheese this is going to be your new favorite thing. It's almost like a giant stuffed crust but much better. The only thing I have been familiar with is the cheese boat, which they called it in San Francisco and Seattle which were my first experience with this type of cuisine. It's warm and homely for the cheese boat or the real names are Adjaruli Khachapuri aka Ajarian Hachapuri. This is a boat shaped white bread stuffed with plenty of white gooey cheese (cheese pull!) that is topped with a sunny side egg which you are supposed to poke and stir with the cheese. Yummy hot goodness! It's like eating a pizza! I love it! I feel it's better than the one in SF which is a sit down restaurant in the North Beach. I really like this simple, no frills bakery and it takes 15 minutes for them to make this dish in their oven. If I could buy one on each item, I would, but it will just be for a party of one and I can't eat all of it in one day, so I went with the one I came die which is the cheese boat! Yah! It is nice to find this hole the wall that is worth the trip to stop by and eat these delicious treats located in Chinatown. Small family-owned bakery serving up Armenian pastries such as lahmajun and gata.Vegas is better for the food and I look it much better than San Francisco. Prices are reasonable and not overpriced. I love to search establishments like these mom and pop places and support them. Plus very good quality food. Friendly service. Loved loved LOVED this place. We were looking for lacmajun and found Arevik on Yelp. It took us a while to find it as it was hidden behind some bushes so the signage was not visible. **It is next to Feng Shui Gallery** We arrived around 10.20ish and ordered lacmajun (called lacmajo here) and Zhengyalov Hatz (a vegetable filled bread pocket). They made it fresh so we waited around 15 mins. When it was ready, we took it outside to the little table and devoured it. It was SO delicious!! So the day before we left LV, we went back and ordered 5 lacmajo and 3 Zhengyalov Hatz to bring home to soCal with us. The morning of our departure, we decided we wanted more, so I called and added 5 more lacmajo to our order. When we arrived, our order was ready. The young man packed it up for us, and we also got another box of the almond cookies (got one the day before and our nephew ate them all) for the road. It's a bakery but they sell more bread and savory types of baked goods than sweet baked goods. Not a lot of items on their menu but straightforward on what they offer. I was craving some lahmajoun/ lahmajo (thin flatbread with tomato paste and ground meat) and this place hit the spot. This will be my go to until I find another spot in Vegas. If you love cheese in your bread, this is the place to come to. Their best seller is the adjaruli but can't go wrong with the megurli and imeruli. Keep in mind these are pretty big so definitely sharable. You will get carb overload. They do have some baklava premade sitting on the counter too but I didn't feel like trying that out. read more

A simple, crisp but springy neutral flatbread spread with a delicious smear of minced meat, tomatoes, garlic, onions and a lot of cumin and paprika with a good chili spice kick before being baked off till cooked. A bold flavor bomb. Adjaruli - The bread boat loaded with cheese and topped with a raw egg yolk. Spread the egg yolk around and enjoy. Rich without being oily or fatty. The bread, crisp and fresh. The cheese pull, EPIC! Eyes bigger than the stomach. It was a mistake to order one of each per person. All savory items baked to order. Expect a 15-20 minute wait. Inexpensive, $10 each. I ordered 4 Chachapuri for takeout. I called twice and let them know it would take me 2 hours to pickup the Chachapuri. They said "no problem". I picked up the Chachapuri's and when we opened the boxes at home - all 4 Chachapuri's were totally burnt and un-eatable. I called the place and the guy told me they kept the Chachapuri in the oven for more two hours! That's absolutely ridiculous. They ruined it and the guy refused to make it right. I've only been to Las Vegas twice, but both times I've stopped at Arevik Bakery. If I go back to Vegas again, I'll be stopping by Arevik again. The adjaruli is delicious, and even though we split it two ways, it was more than enough food for us. There were also some almond cookies with some kind of jam in them that were amazing. We ventured over to this Armenian bakery yesterday for lunch. It had been featured in the local paper last week, so that's how I was alerted to its existence. Featuring the baked goods of Georgia (the Eastern Europe country, not the U.S. state) and Armenia, Arevik has just a handful of items offered, all of which I had to Google first before arriving. My husband and I each ordered the Adjaruli Khachapuri, a boat-shaped cheese bread that is a Georgian staple. Made to order, expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your bread to come out, but it is worth the wait. The bread was so cheesy, and it came with a sunny-side up egg in the middle. Tear off a piece of bread, dip it in the yolk, and enjoy. The serving is large enough for two people to share or have leftovers later. The staff was super friendly, and it seems to be a family-owned business. We will definitely be back to try the other items and know now that we can call ahead to order if so desired. read more

This place is AMAZING! It's better than most Armenian / Russian / Eastern European places in SoCal. I tried the Lahmajo, Adjaruli, and the Megruli. The Lahmajo / Lahmajun bread is light, thin and perfectly crispy on the bottom. The Adjaruli and Megruli have a similar flavor profile (bread, cheese), but they're both special. My favorite was the Megruli, which has browned, melted cheese on top, with soft, creamy cheese stuffed inside the bread/crust. The bread is golden brown on the outside and soft inside, with just the right amount of stretch/chewiness. I only wish I lived nearby, because I would be a regular! Call ahead if you aren't prepared to wait 20-30 minutes, because they are baking everything fresh, to-order. It's totally worth the wait though! FYI, there are a couple of tables outside of the restaurant, but it's really more of a takeout place. read more

Ingredients were on point. Definitely call in to place an order. Give them at least an hour, everything is made to order. YES - it is WORTH the wait. It's a smaller venue and can get a bit warm if you're ordering in person. I'd suggest just waiting in the car during the warmer months. We stopped by yesterday and got baklava, cigarettes, areshki - both with Nutella and cream and chak chak. The chak chak was not too sweet and totally addictive. Kids loved the areshki. They had a lot of fun separating them and mixing up the shells with cream and Nutella. I had to take it away before they ate the whole container. Baklava and cigarettes were divine. We'd never encountered Armenian cuisine before finding this spot in Chinatown. We had the megruli and adjaruli flatbreads which were cheesy, doughy and delicious. They were very large and filling and at $10 apiece were an amazing value. They even threw in two little dessert pastries as a bonus.
