Update: my big toe with the cut has been throbbing for the last 2 days and I believe it may be infected. Going to the doctor if it doesn't go away in the next 24 hours. Really wanted to love this place because of the reviews and how clean the inside was. (Pretty sure the 5 star reviews are mostly because they offer $5 off with a Yelp review). I asked for a regular manicure and pedicure. Steven was very nice and accommodating when I asked for a couple of my nails on my hands to be redone because they were visibly streaky. However, even with the redo (it no longer is streaky but) has unevenness to it as visible in the photo. The initial person who had done my hands (Steven had originally done my feet but did an unevenly filed big toe and a cut on the same big toe as shown in image) didn't even come around to correct her own mistake and had Steven redo it despite her just sitting there watching soccer, which felt very unprofessional. Felt like I paid for no reason as this is what my nails look like less than 24 hours later

They cut corners and use grinders to remove gel which ultimately make it easier for the technician but destroys your nail. This not only thinned my nails, caused chipping put the gel didn't hold and peeled within 2 weeks. I've went to other places which have held beautifully and for a long wear as expected for gel. My regular pedi lasted longer than the gel mani. Upon calling and simply explaining not really expecting too much, only confirm they weren't too interested in apologizing or wanting to retain my business and said just come back in a week and pay for another set. Don't - it's a low quality rush job with the predictable poor tech service.

I walked in today for a pedicure and Mary was able to see my right away and she gave me the best pedicure and took so much time are care to help me. I will definitely be back! Plus they give you water while you get your services which is a nice touch! Thanks Mary!

I've been to many salons and never experienced something this disturbing. A man who appeared to be the owner behaved very inappropriately during my appointment, and it was handled poorly when I brought it up. I hope management takes this seriously, but I won't be returning.

First time at aria, it was such a nice and peaceful experience. They offer you complimentary water bottles, the atmosphere is calm (Sunday morning's) And they're so attentive. I got a full gelx set and gel pedicure it was a few extra dollars more expensive then the place across the street but so worth it. I wish I would have got my nail techs name because im excited to come back :) read more

Vannie completed my gel X and designed my nails which I received a lot of compliments at girls luncheon. I gave her a general idea of what design I want, and Vannie delivered it! She has these art tools with her that haven't seen any local mail technician used on their clients. She's talented and creative! I also got a deluxe pedicure done by Amanda. Some local nail shops would just rush through their service and move onto the next clients to get more $$ for the day. Not here! You get the quality service with a timed massage session, and individual spa packet. Amanda did not rush through the service at all. My money is well spent here. I recommend going in the morning to deter long wait. Once you're seated in those comfortable massage chair, they do their work diligently and not half ass like some of the other local nail shops. Excellent service with free beverages, relaxing music, fashion show, clean, nice ambiance shop and friendly people. I'll be back for sure. read more

The service is excellent and the facility is very clean. The quality of work is much better here then nearby salons. I look forward to coming here very often. Quality went down at another salon on Lake I was going to and costs went up there. I think Aria is priced well and quality matches. Very nice staff too. So welcoming. read more

My first time here and my last. I went on their website to make an appointment for this morning. Everything went well with the appointment scheduling and I even got an email about the appointment. To be fair, I didn't read the email because I made the assumption it was confirming my appointment. I get to the establishment and noticed it was busy. I gave the front desk my name and they inform me I'm not on their list. I tell them I have an email about it and I'm told that I have to wait for them to confirm my appointment. So I'm supposed to wait and see if they'll accept my appointment after setting the appointment online. How is that a workable system? I suggest you find a place that knows how to set an appointment and keep it. read more

First time at Aria Nails and I'll definitely be back! I got a Gel X manicure and Basic Pedicure. Vannie did a great job with my manicure! I brought a photo in of some nail art and she was very attentive to replicate. She was quick but also meticulous and thorough! My only issue is that I would have liked to see an itemized receipt - my total came out to $103 (probably because of the nail art) but it would have been nice to know the charge breakdown. read more

It's been hard finding a nail salon with spacious parking and good service and decent price. I tried this salon yesterday and LOVE. I know they are new on the block, but I really hope they keep up the service. I had regular gel manicure and deluxe pedicure. I like how detailed the techs are with my cuticle trimming. Also, their hours of operation are accommodating for anyone working 8-5pm. read more

i have been a regular at the pasadena location. and i have been pleased with the service in general. but i was very disappointed in how they handle an incident in march. i had the luxury mani/pedi, and Hally who was working on my mani accidentally dripped the hot wax on my silk pants. she kept telling me don't worry, it's just wax, and it will clean just fine. and she tried to use the towel to wipe off the wax for me. when i finished the mani/pedi, i reported the incident to the manager, Trang, about the incident, and told her that i will get the pants dry-cleaned and hopefully it will be fine. she apologized, and i also know that Hally didn't do it on purpose, nevertheless, it was not very professional since they use the hot wax for the luxury mani/pedi all the time. when i returned the following month for my monthly service, i told Trang that i need to talk to the owner, Natalie because the wax left a white stain on the silk pants. Trang called me back a day later and told me that i took too long to report the result, so, they will not be responsible for it. i couldn't believe that was how they treat their good, regular customer! i requested to talk to the owner, but Trang then told me that Natalie left for Vietnam and will not be available for a month. when i visited again this month, i asked my regular manicurist, Amy, who witnessed the incident to have her sister Natalie give me a call because i had a feeling that the manager Trang didn't even report the incident to Natalie! but, it's been 2 weeks, and no call! i found this very unprofessional and upsetting. i hope this does not happen to any of you! read more

This is a spacious, well-lit, and clean salon that offers more than your standard nail salon. They're not the cheapest prices around, but you pay for the experience and skill. My boyfriend and I each got the deluxe pedicure (the middle level between the basic and luxury) which includes callous removal and massage with 2 hot stones. The massage chairs are also nice and upgraded. They also provide free water bottles and free wifi! I noticed there were little phone stands available for clients to use at each of the manicure stations which I've personally never seen before but it makes so much sense IMO. Most of the technicians have little laminated cards at their work stations with their Venmo usernames so it's easy to provide tip if you never have cash on hand like me. There's also a parking lot in the back which is always a nice perk! Definitely would recommend this nail salon! read more

I had a great experience at Aria Nail Lounge. I chose them because they are within walking distance of where I am staying and the pictures online looked really nice. I made an appointment the day before. When I got there they got me right in. The place looks really nice and clean and the chairs are all new and the decor is really cool. This place has only been open a week so I was surprised at the amount of business they got. When I left they were rather busy. That is great to see a new business doing so well. I got a full set of acrylic nails plus a pedicure. Both French with Gel Polish. The prices are what you would expect. Probably in the middle of the road. The women that did my pedicure was fast and my toes look great. The women that did my acrylic nails did a great job too. She was a tiny bit slow. It took almost two hours and I did have to ask her to wear gloves. Everyone else in there was wearing gloves and masks. That is my only complaint. She was wearing a mask however and put the gloves on when I asked. Overall I had a good experience and will go back again. They also offer free beverages. read more

I really enjoy coming to.this spot. Its nice and clean and the staff are nice. They have two big rooms filled with spa chairs for pedicures and tables in rhe middle for manicures and nail work. They even have a fridge with free water. They have ample parking in the back. They have q check in kiosk and 2 giant walls of colors. I came in for the deluxe pedicure and it was excellent, it even includes a hot stone rub. Will be back for sure. read more

Brand new Nail place in the heart of Sierra Madres cute town. I am so happy with the outcome of my nails as she suggested I do a hard gel vs. powder dip. Super knowledgeable and friendly. I made an appointment about an hour beforehand and went in around 1-2pm. The salon was pretty empty but super clean. I got Gel X nails done by Helen. She took her time and made my nails look great! She really made sure the quality was good and took care of me. Although they were a bit longer than I had asked for, I'd still go back. The total for my nails (pictured) was $55 not including tip. It's been 3 weeks since then and my nails are still holding strong! read more

First, my nails were great and well done by a tech named Lynn. However, the customer service was awful. The lady at the front seems uninterested and a bit rude. She is on her iPad watching shows. She seemed annoyed to answer questions about prices and colors. This place doesn't have samples of the color on fake nails like all other nail places I have been to. They expect you to pick your color based on all the colors on the wall. I was able to choose 2 and try them on my nail. Luckily I loved the second color. However, if I want to come in for something other than just a solid color, I expect them to assist with this and I expect a sample so I don't have to try on multiple colors. This goes for gel or designs. Overall, I'm not coming back because if I am paying and tipping I expect them to be helpful with helping me choose the right shade. I also can't stand the rudeness and energy they have. read more

The girl who was supposed to do my waxing was already in a rush, rushing me when I got in there and was presenting with attitude. She had a bracelet on that kept rubbing my eyelid when she was working on my eyebrows, and I had verbalized to her in a nice manner originally, but she was having attitude already at me and basically being pretty rough when it comes to removing the wax. And then she missed a few spot and when I pointed out that she missed a spot, she was giving me attitude while telling me to lie down and then when I got back up after she was done and told me that she was done, she looked at me and was like what are you doing? I still need to put cream on you. And suddenly I feel gaslit because she was the one who told me to get up and then she followed that by asking if we have any problems because I am making her feel very uncomfortable here while giving me attitude. When really I haven't really verbalized anything and I have barely verbalized my concern about the eyelid and that's basically because her bracelet keeps touching my eyelid because it dingles down. The front desk lady have said that she tends to have attitude for whoever is last on her list and I find a very unfair that they book her as my cosmetologist if they know that that's the issue. If they're going to hire employees are representing their company I sure hope that they evaluate their personality and their customer service aspect because that is the most important when it comes to these kind of role and if they're not happy and don't wanna work here, they really shouldn't take additional clients or they shouldn't have the job here. As someone who works in a place of customer service, I always make sure that I don't bring my personal opinions or emotions in. This whole experience made me feel kind of uncomfortable and also feeling like I don't really want to come back and make an appointment with that person ever again. By the end of the session after she gave me the mirror I told her she had missed a few spot. I mean, there were clearly hair in those area, and she clearly was very upset by me pointing at things that I'm just merely pointing out at as anyone would and she is just showing her bad mood and the environment that didn't need that. And after this time, she was done, she not only did not let me check in the mirror. She also told me that I am good to go. I am very uncomfortable I am very disappointed with my experience and I don't wish that on anyone. When I finally got to my car, I noticed not only a few spots but many spot that she missed and I can't really even walk in because I'm kind of scared and worried to really deal with her and I honestly don't want her to ever service me ever again . And I hope that nobody becomes her victim because that is just some rough waxing services watching someone having a resting bitch face and attitude the whole time when really I just want to come here to be vulnerable and did nothing wrong.
