Yelp sent me to the "other" Italian place around tHe corner. Upon arrival they did not have a bar and I was a solo traveler tonight not wanting to sit aT a table by myself. Best move I ever made. The food and the drink are so exciting and freshest amazing. I started with an oversized arugula salad with the freshest ingredients possible. For my main entree I went with a tuna and shrimp dish that was to die for. They could do a better job describing the entrees, but everything additional was top notch. I would give a 0 star if I could. We came there at around 1pm on Jan 2nd. It took someone 30 mins to finally realize our heater was not set up even though I tried to let them know multiple times. Our server ignored us all the time until I was able to get help from the other server. We ordered 2 dishes and 1 drink for a table of 2. After another half an hour waiting, the server came and let us know our order was never made( Howww???) So yea, after 1 hour of waiting, we left there with no food and a bad experience. I hope the owner or the manager can read this and fix the problem. The Yelp reviews and the food look amazing, but your server's attitude was unacceptable read more

Great service and ambiance. They have outdoor seating and a good wine/cocktail selection. We had the Siciliano and melon salad. The steak was delicious as was the arugula salad with freah watermelon. Definitely one of the places to try in downtown Media. read more

Discriminatory towards young children. I tried to eat here on three occasions with my husband and young child. On all three occasions we were denied seating. There were several tables available and we even went on off hours and days. I'm appalled at this place and plan to raise this issue not to mention speak about it to all my friends and colleagues who live in the area. read more

Awesome lunch today.Our server ,Connor was top notch. He was not only serving guests but was making drinks,taking care of customers as they came in and still managed to make us feel like we were his only table. Exceptional service! For my appetizer I ordered the Crocchetta di Granchio which are rice balls stuffed with lump crabmeat and pesto over vodka sauce served with cherry peppers , amazing!.For my entrée I had the Otino Cioppino a generous amount of seafood in a tomato broth over creamy risotto. I hosted a bridal shower at Arianos over the weekend and I cannot express enough how happy we are about the experience.   We worked with Cheryl who did a great job reserving the room and organize the bridal shower.  My parents and I who organized the shower are from out of town, so Cheryl certainly helped us understanding how many people can fit in the room, and the pictures of the room on the website were accurate.  We had the room for 4.5 hours, and there were no charges for using the room. Minimum was 35 people.  We only had 30 people attend but the servers kindly put five additional plates in to go boxes.  The room fit 30 perfectly and certainly there were room for more people. The room was beautifully decorated, so much that we needed minimal decorations to make the room elegant. $25/head (3 course meal) was reasonably priced for the food selection, food quality, atmosphere and service. The 3 courses included appetizers (choice of 2 shared for the table), salad (choice of 2 shared for table), main entree (individual chooses 1 out of 2 options). Gelato could be served for $2 extra but we didn't get gelato as we brought in a cake.  For the main courses we salmon and chicken parm (which everyone enjoyed), and for appetizers the (Arancini- Risotto Croquettes) were a big hit!  Drinks were not included in the per head price, but we bought wine that people could drink, and the servers did a great job replenishing everyone's drink. As I mentioned before, the service was also fantastic.  The timing of bringing out the meals for each person and transition of each course (and cleanup) was perfect.  We also brought our own cake which they cut. All leftovers (including the cake) were boxed by the servers.  We were able to get done the meal so we had time to play games and chat together.  I have also been to Ariano's previously for dinner, and had service of the same caliber.  I certainly expect shower guests to return to Ariano's in the future. I would certainly go back to this restaurant/host another event when I was in town. read more

What a delight this little gem is! We visited as part of an apps and cocktails package with Escape the Room located a short walk up the street. The lackage included 2 appetizers and two cocktails per person. Since there are 8 apps available and 8 people in our party, we started with one of each to start and share. Wow! Every single one was sensational, and if you've read my reviews, you know I'm not easily impressed. The pizzas were perfectly cooked in an oven the owner was delighted to tell us about when asked. I didn't expect much from the chicken tacos, but had I not ordered them, I would've missed out on some of the best seasoned chicken and amazing chipolte sauce I've ever had outside of an authentic Mexican restaurant. The wings were sweet yet spicy, the ceasar salad perfectly dressed, and the rice balls filled with cheese an interesting surprise! Let's talk staff, shall we? I honestly felt like I was visiting a friend's family. They're all so warm and welcoming - and that includes EVERYONE! Arianos is a wonderful place to dine. We have been there for several wonderful occasions and I highly recommend having a meal there. My only complaint is this: We recently had a luncheon there on May 6 and it was a wonderful party. We had about 16 all together which included 5 children, ages 8 to 13. We were disappointed that Ariano does not have any pasta meals on there menu. 3 of those children love to have plain pasta with butter wherever they eat. Why is it that an Italian restaurant would not offer any pasta meals? All in all, thought, we love having lunch or dinner at this great restaurant!!! read more

Every meal we have at here has been amazing and consistent which in today's world is hard to find. Love the crab risotto appetizer, the goat and pear salad and the scallops with sundries tomatoes. This place is heaven. I left the area this past June, and I still have dreams about this place. The food is priced well, the decor is great, the servers are super friendly, and the pizzas (and appetizers and rustichelas [sandwiches]) are AMAZING. I've been here a few times, but the dishes that I still dream about are: 1. Melani: the portabella mushrooms, artichokes, peppers and islands of cheese on top of a spicy tomato sauce make this one hell of a pizza. I HIGHLY recommend this pizza to anyone (even to non-vegetarians like myself!). 2. Venditti: this is my girlfriend's favorite, and for good reason. It's simple, just ricotta cheese on tomato sauce with a bit of olive oil, but it's delicious. 3. Alla travaglini: this is a sandwich made with flatbread and it's just delicious. The pesto and red peppers really give you a burst of flavors. A plus is that is comes with a side of pan roasted potatoes, which are also amazing. 4. Arancini: if you liked fried things, cheese, and tomato sauce (and let's be real, you'd be crazy not to), you simply have to order this. This appetizer is good to share, but if you're like me, after one bite, you'll want the whole thing to yourself. Special Mention: Finalmente. This is just a bunch of mussels stewed in a delicious tomato sauce served in a bread bowl made of pizza crust. My sister ordered this a few months back and says she craves this everyday (and note, she lives in the Bay Area where amazing food is on every corner). Whenever my girlfriend and I used to come here, we would get 2 pizzas and a rustichela during the lunch time (smaller pizzas, lower prices), and would finish all of it (granted, I ate about 70% of the food). Their dessert pizza, I hear, is to die for. If you live within a 10 mile radius of this place, you really have to come here at least once. read more

Came here for dining under the stars as recommended by friends. We didnt make reservations so we had about an hour wait. We didn't mind because we hit up another bar beforehand. We then went to the bar since a table wasnt ready. The bar has its' own area. It was nice but nothing impressive. I got the Mackenzie black cherry cider, a pretty girlie drink that was just what i needed at the time. As appetizers, we shared the bang bang shrimp and baselice. The shrimp was pretty bangin! Im not a shrimp person but I was pleasantly surprised. It was breaded amd crispy but the sipping sauce just topped it off. The other app was clams inside a pizza bowl crust- also pretty good esp since the sauce was PURE BUTTER! We ended up dipping the rest of the bread bowl into the sauce. Yum! We shared the zio luciano and zio nicola, both of which were pizzas. They have a large pizza selection. The pizza was quite good, and I really liked the crust. We obviously were seated outside. The atmosphere was great- live music right next to us and happy people all around. The bar was kinda noisy though ( however it is dining under the stars week/month??!! ). The service wasn't bad. Ariano has the best lunch special in town! Huge portions for the price! I work down the street so Ariano is our go to for lunch. There are several lunch combos with the best Caesar salad I've ever had. The combo comes with either a whole pizza, an appetizer, or a rustichella (similar to a panini). One of my favorite items is the arancini which are a choice with the lunch special. The middle oozes with cheese as you cut into it, and the spicy chunky sauce gives it a good kick. ATMOSPHERE: The place is very nice and the second floor has incredible views of the town. Can get crowded and be close quarters but we didn't experience that phenomenon. Very upscale place. FOOD: Food was good but there weren't any pasta dishes. The owner is the same as Fellini Cafe around the corner and as I understand the idea behind it... CAN A MAN GET SOME SPAGHETTI ATLEAST?! I ordered the chicken caprese.. (10/10) and the boss ordered the clams.. Snapper thing. (8/10) COST: Higher end but worth it. OVERALL: This place was good but I think the menu can be expanded a bit. We went on a Sunday afternoon and sat downstairs (they have an upstairs and an outdoor deck) the staff was warm and attentive. I started with the White Cosmopolitan, which was delicious. We had the salad and sandwich combo. Salad was romaine Caesars and large. I had the special, a mahi mahi BLT and my husband had the prosciutto provolone. We split them both, the special (mahi mahi) was outstanding and the prosciutto was nice. The gelatos are great! I had the seasonal Dulce de Leche with sea salt. Fab! Finally, it's a small menu, it's gourmet sandwiches and pizzas and salads and aps thrown in for fun. We will definitely go back. read more

This place was amazing! From the beautiful open air concept balcony, to the delicious food, our group of 5 was very impressed. Given covid, we were seated upstairs on the balcony. The spiral staircase and beautiful art on the walls really made for a beautiful atmosphere. For dinner, we ordered both the crab and regular arancini which were incredible. The winner of the night was definitely the mushroom and chicken risotto. Hands down the best risotto I've ever had in my life. It was buttery yet had the right balance of lemon. This place is packed on the weekends and don't even think about trying to get a table without a reservation during Dining Under the Stars. Entrees can be a little pricey but this is a great spot for date night in the spring and summer. Get a seat upstairs where you can enjoy the artwork on the ceiling and the breeze from the open windows. They have a bar but offer BYOB on certain nights. Can't go wrong with the personal size brick oven pizzas (but beware they can be burnt on the bottom sometimes) or one of their daily specials. They have a decent selection of gelato for dessert as well. From my understanding, Ariano is owned by the same people as Fellini's. read more

We live in Media and love Ariano. Good food, easy reservation system, and decent service. I also like that the menu changes seasonally. The creative cocktail options are also appreciated. I especially appreciate that they are open on Mondays! My husband's normal day off is Monday, but Media has become a ghost town on Monday evenings. I appreciate that restaurants are doing the best they can with the employee shortage, but it's sad to have so few dining choices on Mondays in such a foodie area. read more

One of our favorite go-to's in the area. We've eaten here more times than we can count and have always enjoyed our meal. Consistently good food and service, great atmosphere. We were traveling through for work and got in late and was looking for something to eat and decided that based on current reviews at that time that we were going for Italian deserts! We go there and since we weren't having dinner we were told to go to their gelato bar next door. Totally fine! We went in and the gentlemen behind the counter asked what we were looking to have and we said we had seen that they had tiramisu and lemon marscapone cake on yelp and did they still have that and he said yes and we have a hazelnut chocolate cake also. We love desert and said, okay we will take one of each to go. Well...he then pulled out 3 boxes of commercial Made desserts from a mini fridge that were pre cut and put them in a box to go. I mean, they were good, but also a bummer because we were hoping they were house made.
