I saw a rave review on Instagram so we went and ordered the Asian omelet and the belly bomb panini. Also had the pistachio cold brew. The line was long and they seemed short-staffed. We waited at least 25 minutes to get our food. It was mediocre. I had heard the portions were large but that isn't what we found to be true. Furthermore, a lot of the ingredients seemed pre-packaged. Hands down 5 stars! I ordered the Trip to Thailand omelette and it came with a side of a green salad and a biscuit. My omelette was so yummy! I had the Annie chicken & waffle and I would highly recommend this special they didn't drown it in grease or syrup they put a lot of time and love in that dish and that's not something you see as often. I'm from Indiana visiting Cali for the first time. I had ate at the attic the day before this and it was supposedly the best in Long Beach. Then I ate here, it's cheaper and BETTER. I got the Belgian Waffle. My husband got the Baja Baby Skillet. My meal was great, but what my husband got was seriously the best egg I've had in my life. I cannot recommend this place enough if your visiting. On the worth it scale I rate it 10/10. We also got mimosas which were very tasty as well. The server was very friendly and accommodating. Now mind you the biscuits and gravy are not as pictured it looked way better in the photographs I saw. The French toast was ok, but one slice ? And finally the lemonade, it was definitely not made with quality ingredients it tasted like country time lemonade with a hint of cucumber for 6$ is really reaching and the price was unacceptable! (I have had gourmet cucumber lemonade before and it's not neon yellow) As for the the food if your to buy a ton of food and make a tapas type deal out of everything, might work!? We ordered a total of 3 entrées for pick up: the Monte Cristo, the waffle with scrambled eggs, and the biscuit with sausage and gravy. The first two were spot on and delicious! Although I waited +10mins for a pick up order, I think that's fantastic. Why would I be joyed by waiting longer? It's because it means they're very busy which they were today. I'm glad to see their business is very active as the vaccine rollout continues and people are eager to go out. I rather have them have a line of people than no one at all. All in all, if you're used to Azure Bistro as it was during the heavier times of the pandemic, expect them to be more busy which is a good thing.
