Came here for the first time last Saturday. It was busy but my friend and I found a spot at the bar. We ordered burgers and that came out in a decent amount of time and tasted pretty good. The bartenders were friendly and made a great whiskey sour. Out of nowhere the younger guy sitting next to me turned toward me and just randomly bit me hard in the arm! I told the staff immediately. I was rightfully upset and it seemed like they believed me because the guy that did it wasn't exactly denying it. And his friends were acting dumb. I was looking at the staff to say or do something and told them to look at their security video if they didn't believe me. I had nice and friendly interactions with the staff while I'd been there so I assumed they'd take it seriously. I also showed the my arm, which showed a bruise from where I was bit. About 10 minutes later the female bartender said "we found it on the video and saw him bite you." At that point I thought they would've kicked the group out of the bar but they didn't, which was disappointing. It was nice to be validated and believed in the end but I had been adamant that I had been bit the entire time, and they didn't immediately do much. I had to prove myself. I would be very careful opening a tab here. I came here yesterday after the Ocean Beach market day and ordered two drinks, opening a tab. One of the bartenders mixed up my credit card with another patron, leading to me to have to come back the next day after work and still have to wait hours for him to return with my card. I still have to cancel it bc now another person potentially has my whole card information! This is the first time this has happened to me in the 10 years I've been going to bars. Nobody's walking into this establishment expecting 5-star service. But I did walk in here expecting great happy hour deals and my expectations were met. Arizona's happy hour featured $3 hot dogs, $5 well drinks, and an assortment of other cheap small plates. For under $20 I was fed and pleasantly buzzed. Will be coming back. read more

There are two tables, a bunch of high tables, and a few booths. Easy seating at the bar. Enough TV's to pick which games you'd like to watch. The juke box is where most of the magic happens. I ordered a virgin piña colada, and she gave my husband a dirty look for ordering it. Stopped in with the boyfriend after an afternoon of walking through the pier of OB. We were just visiting from the Bay Area so it's always fun to stumble into local small businesses to support. I was craving for a Chicago style hot dog and the menu here happened to offer it (I saw it on the menu posted on the window as we were casually walking by). The hot dog came with tomatoes, pickles, sports peppers, relish & onions for $8.50 a pop. Not the greatest I have ever had but it did the job in satisfying my craving. Looks like these guys have a great beer, wine, and spirit list. There are pool tables and a huge space for large groups to gather. I bet this is a cool spot to hang out at on nights and weekends. They don't have their own private lot so prepare to look for street parking if you're driving in. read more

Super racist establishment. Went to play some pool and everyone there was super negative and treated my party as if we didn't belong there. Upon entering we received dirty looks, we didn't understand why until the next group of people walked in whom were two white dudes. The group of white men that gave us the dirty looks were all smiles with the two strangers that came in as they chanted "brother" amongst themselves. Immediately we could see why we received a cold shoulder instead of a warm welcome. The people in OB are chill and mostly white, there is a good mix of good hearted people along with the racist ones. Especially the door man. Fool is racist. And he said he is the bouncer for 5 different bars in OB. Meaning they are all racist... Places like this need to lose business and be forced to shut down. I love this place because it's a great dive bar to go to if you're trying to get away from all the high prices and over the top areas like downtown or PB. I always try and stop here first because the bartender likes what she does and makes a few different drinks that aren't on the menu. I have had drinks that are on the menu however and they are still delicious, but I primarily come for the food service and creativity she has behind the bar is great! read more

OK, so sorry for having to write this review. I gave them a third chance and they still have a backwards mentality or as I call it an Arizona mentality. The first time I went here all was well, great times were had but that might have to do with the fact that i was with three tall blondes and one of them knew the bartender. The 2nd time was during the 4th of july weekend. Me and two buddies were playing pool when three girls (one brunette and two african american) walked in and then asked us if they could play pool with us. Of course, what do you say when three girls want to play pool with you... you say yes... especially when they are in bikinis. :D Then things got weird fast, keep in mind that this bar is in Ocean Beach... about a block from the actual beach. But, more importantly, keep in mind that this place calls itself an arizona bar. So, shortly after playing a game the security chump walks up and tells the three girls they need to put shirts on. Apparently, "someone" in the bar complained.... about girls wearing bikinis in a beach bar. And the security chump acted on it.... talk about backassswards. We figured it was the three obese ladies sitting next to the pool table but still...... who asks girls to put shirts on in a beach bar?????? backassswards thinking people that is. so... on to my next experience after the wonderland party... i walk in, give my ID to the security chump.... and get in, no issues, its OB. My friend, mexican american, shows ID and they promptly tell her she's too drunk. Now, keep in mind we've been bar hopping all over OB and never once were turned away. Heck, the only time I've experienced something such as that is in gaslamp where the security peeps are str8 up dooosssshhhhbags. So, I was very surprised of this ongoing experience at a bar in OB. But, being that it is an Arizona bar, its all starting to make sense. This bar has a high dooshbag employee rating, it does not belong in OB, MB, PB or near any beach. If anything, it belongs in the gaslamp or way back in backasssswards arizona. ********DO NOT FREQUENT THIS PLACE******** Arizona dooshbags need to stay in arizona.... they also need to learn how to drive. So sad to see the menu reduced to basic bar food. The pork tacos and chicken parm were amazing. And $10.50 for a grilled cheese sandwich. Looks like the owner will be watching regulars like myself slowly disappear. After years of patronage, time to find a new spot unless they step up their game.
