Attn: "New Management 2026" HIDDEN FEES. This dealership is actively soliciting business since they are making it known that they are under "new management" since December 2025. I took my Toyota for a multi-point inspection and ended up agreeing to two jobs (of several recommended) totaling around $900. Everything appeared to be going fine until it was time to pay and I was told when I got out my credit card that there would be a 3% transaction fee. Stunned, because under the old ownership when I had my car serviced several times over many years, there was no such fee and I ALWAYS paid by credit card as it is customary to do. Had I been alerted to the fee in advance, (and there were multiple opportunities to do so over a period of several days), I would have easily known to bring my debit card. The "credit card transaction fee" was almost $30! I didn't need to put this expense on credit, as I pay off my card each day straight on online banking. However, not knowing about this egregious new policy, I was completely taken by surprise and without a backup. This was simply a low class, intentional price gouge cash grab, a really terrible introduction on my first visit after the "new ownership". I'm just hoping the work that they did holds up. I will not be coming back to this location for the remainder of work that was recommended, or ever. I recently went to Arlington Toyota for an oil change. As part of the service package I had already paid for, tire rotation was included at no additional cost. To make sure the rotation was actually performed, we marked the tires before the appointment. When I checked afterward, it was obvious the tires were never touched. Even though the rotation was "free" at the time of service, it was part of a package I already paid for -- and they didn't do it. That feels dishonest. If something as simple as a tire rotation gets skipped, it makes me question what other services are being overlooked. More importantly, after I had already taken delivery, their staff caused multiple scratches on the inside of my windshield during a later service visit. I tried for a month to reach Agustino, the person in charge, and he completely ignored my attempts to contact him. Only after weeks of silence did he finally respond, just to say they will do absolutely nothing to fix it. During my Toyota sienna service on Feb. 13, the Service Department provided me with an estimate of Urgent and Recommended Service. Three items on the Urgent list totaled $1965.22 and the items on the Recommended List $1511.05., a total service fee of $3476.27. I decided to have a second opinion given this cost and Toyota's urgency for the repairs to be made. Guess What! NONE of these repairs items were needed. Went here for many years, bought cars here even. I was very regularly told I needed various maintenance and repairs. As a naive single mom, I never thought to get a second opinion. It ended up being thousands and thousands of dollars of shit in a 5+ year timeframe on what was a new 2019 rav4 I bought from them. Everything from fuel injector cleanings to spark plug services. It wasn't until the last oil change appt where I had my daughter bring my car in, instead. They called me describing nearly $3,000 of work needed done, straight up repairs, claiming this or that is corroding and the car may lose control in traffic and it is semi time sensitive. My daughter said I'm being scammed and begged me to get a second opinion. I got a 2nd opinion at a shop right in the same town and they were shocked and told me under no circumstances did I need those repairs. Fast forward to today, 6 months later we go in to their competitor at Schaumburg Toyota for a tire rotation and the fine folk there didn't mention any repairs or issues in their multi point inspection either. So that is TWO second opinions in 6 months. I am certain I was scammed by these dishonest people and I highly recommend anyone using their service dept get a 2nd opinion. Also - final straw in the coffin was seeing screenshots online of the despicable behavior and political opinions online of the man who owns Arlington Toyota and many other Toyota dealerships in the area including Elgin Toyota, where I also bought a car. We had a very disappointing experience with Arlington Toyota. We were looking for a Rav4 hybrid and went to 3 dealership before this one. Sales person Tim called me and said they were getting a Rav4 Hybrid in today, I said oh that's great I want it, can I give you a deposit? He said no its on its way and not here yet, why don't you call back later today and this was a noon April 27th 2026. So I called at 4pm same day and Tim said it was a hour away. So I made an appointment and drove over to find out that Tim was already gone for the day and some lady salesperson informed me that it came in and was just sold to another person. This felt like a complete lack of communication and respect for my time. If a vehicle cant be held, that should be clearly stated upfront instead of having a customer come in under the impression it's available. There are car salespeople and there are car salespeople... and then there's Olga. Whenever I have to deal with any salesperson to buy something, I prefer dealing with a woman. So when I walked into Arlington Toyota recently to buy a car (something I've done many times before), the first thing I asked for was a saleswoman. The guys at the front desk told me they'd page Olga. Fast forward a couple hours later when I was leaving with a great deal and a good feeling about how I'd been treated. I'll hit the highlights. Olga demonstrates in every action and comment that she is genuinely interested in earning and keeping a customer. She takes her job very seriously. I was blown away when I heard her knowledge of the different features of the Toyotas we looked at on the lot. I asked how she remembered all of the different features and she pulled out a thick binder with a handwritten table of models and features that she put together and studied over and over until she knew them cold. And she did. She did not hurry me through any part of the transaction. She made sure I understood my choices based on my budget and that I was comfortable with every one of her recommendations. I was. I bought a used vehicle from her and there was some service the dealership was going to perform as part of the sale. She gave me her cellphone and said she would get things scheduled and that I was welcomed to call if I didn't hear from her about it. I didn't need to call her phone because she did a great job of calling and texting me with updates. Honestly, I normally dread working with car dealerships because I know all the games they play with 'manager approvals', juggling the numbers to make it look like the deal is in my favor, and in the end leaving me feeling like I got tricked. Before positing details of my experience at this dealership, I want to ensure it starts by recognizing Ilya, a sales manager here. I honestly wish I had had the option of speaking with him from the get go as I believe he would've prevented the situation that happened today. He truly felt apologetic for what happened and did his best to try and remedy the situation. This review to follow in no way pertains to him. I happen to come across a vehicle on their website that caught my eye so I went in to inquire. I spoke with Melanie and was told that the vehicle had not yet arrived nor had it been pre-sold, it was on its way and scheduled to arrive on the 5th. I explained that I really liked the car as well as the pricing and was very interested in potentially buying it. Melanie then offered me to see the vehicle when it arrived so of course I agreed. I expressed to her my interest in the car and asked to please not sell it before I was able to come view it as I likely would be buying it. I also asked to speak to a manager of whom I expressed the same concern. I even spoke with the manager a second time expressing this and sent an email to Melanie expressing my concern of the car being sold and that I'd like to assure I am able to see it. I explained my work schedule and when I'd be able to come see the car. I even asked if I could put a deposit on the car; my only option was to put a $2500 non-refundable deposit on the car. I continued calling a couple times a day to check on if the car had arrived yet and again expressed that I was very interested in the car and asked that it not be sold before I could see it. I was assured I'd be called when the vehicle came in. I receive a call around 1:15pm today that the car had arrived and was available to see. I was asked when I would be planning to come in. I said that I'd be there by 4pm. I was told that they would make sure that the car would be ready for me then. As I'm on my way to the dealership at 3:00pm, I get a text saying that the car had sold. I asked how when I was scheduled to come in at 4:00pm was told that it was first come first serve. I was not informed that others were interested in the car at the time I came in to inquire so as far as I'm concerned, I was first come first serve to see and purchase the car! I did not realize that calling multiple times to express that I'd really appreciate being able to see the car and to please not sell it as I would likely be buying it once seeing it was not enough. And why even bother asking me to come in if it didn't matter anyways. I was misled and lied to about this transaction. I also love their "It's not fair to customers that are here and have agreed to the pricing". What's NOT FAIR is that you completely disregarded my interest in the car and willingness to purchase it as expressed MULTIPLE TIMES! What's NOT FAIR is that you couldn't bother to say that you have an interested party coming at 4:00pm and that you'd let them know if it fell through! I had finances prepared to purchase this car TODAY and that opportunity was robbed of me and I've been waiting a year to purchase a Highlander. This entire experience aside from working with Ilya was dirty, sleazy, and unacceptable. Very disappointed in communication efforts by Melanie and management aside from Ilya. Could you make it any clearer that all you care about is money? At least attempt to build a rapport and maintain your end of the deal. I gave this dealer a second chance and that is the last. If you want a car from this dealership, remain cautious because they might sell it even though they tell you to come in. It appears I'm not the only one with this experience. read more

I remember the first time I walked in here, they tried to use many unethical tactics against me. One of them being a bait and switch for an advertised used Toyota. I called about it first to make sure they still had it and when they said they did I went in and asked for it. When i did a coup of the salesman were like "har har you don't want that it had like gangster rims and nobody would want it". I was like wtf? Why would you just not disclose that over the phone? Also, I did end up finding a vehicle that I wanted to purchase and that's when they ask you "how much monthly payment can you afford" which is a sign of financial manipulation to get you to pay the max trying to get you to ignore the overall vehicle price. They also had the salesman go back and forth to the manager an ungodly amount of times to try to tire you out. In the end I just walked out bc I was tired of their tactics. Yet they raised it to 84,500.00 when i decided to buy. When I questioned the price and told them its clear online they changed it as shown on line within just a few minutes. Not an isolated incident as I see others have had the same review comment. Never thought of checking yelp before shopping there but now I know and just want to share with all out there. I filed a complaint with the attorney general on this and recommend others do the same (compling the evidence really helps). I dropped my car off for an appointment at 8 AM. I didn't receive an update until 10:45 AM which is fine. The update was a video of the services/recommendations on what to do with my car. I then receive another update via call by noon which is them providing even more recommendations for my car that are not within the video. I refuse the additional recommendations since they were not in the original video and were unnecessary. But then I never received an update on when they finished servicing my car. I had to call them multiple times just for them to finally call me back at 2 PM. This is inexcusable and should not take this much time for services such as a transmission flush. On top of that they didn't provide any valid reason for such a long wait. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is due to a coupon on their website for a free key fob battery replacement. read more

I was looking for a new car and decided on Toyota for reliability. I was looking to trade in my old vehicle for a new one. They even stayed past closing to ensure i'd walk away with a vehicle I liked. Everyone was pleasant and seemed polite. Mike in finance was especially a joy to work with, great guy! The only issue I have is when trading in my vehicle I was told I would be able to collect a few items from it the next day, specifically an amplifier to install in my new car for a better audio setup. I let my original contact from Toyota know that I wanted to pick up my amplifier and that's when it all changed. Delayed responses and a message or two without response. I was hoping just for a "I have your amp, stop by" but when I stopped by a few days later after having to call and being told I could pick it up, It was explained that it was locked up and that i'd have to wait week because the person who locked it up was on vacation? I find this concerning as a first impression from this location. As soon as the paper work was signed, I felt like I was no use anymore and tossed aside the day after, unable to collect my items. I highly suggest and wish I had taken everything out before moving forward with a trade in, I understand that is on me but I trusted the employee I dealt with. I'm not trying to say the entire location is bad per my two stars, but i'm sure my amplifier is on vacation somewhere also. I'm a repeat customer, having purchased my 2002 Toyota Camry from here. We were happy with the car we purchased, so we returned to see what type of deal we could get. I settled on a 2009 Toyota Camry with 100k miles, as that's all my budget could afford. After checking my credit, they told me I would not be financed for such an old car. Suggested I look into something newer. I looked a 2018 Kia Optima, which was clean and had only 41K miles on it. My trade-in was very old and in terrible condition, so maybe they felt I should just be happy to be driving something. I left with the car after being told and shown Paperwork that they were not making any money on my deal. Out of respect for the salesperson, I won't mention her name. I texted them the following Monday after noticing my windshield had a ding that would eventually turn into a crack. I asked if they would fix it. I've dealt with other dealerships who don't sweat these type of dings, as long as the customer was happy. I was told no, basically since they made no money off my deal they would not fix my windshield. I stopped by a week later to pickup some personal items and asked the sales manager face to face if he would be willing to go half on the repairs. He told me no. I asked if he could consult his superior. He told me no, Basically he was told if he made another deal such as mine he would have to leave with the client. My advice to anyone purchasing a car from here is make sure you check over the car with a fine-tooth comb. Because once paperwork is signed, they could care less. Or maybe it was just my deal was so bad, they don't care if I'm happy or not. Paperwork is signed and that's it. My wife and I stopped in to look at the Toyota Venza. We met with Adam Ciemierzynski, and what a pleasure it was to work with him. He was one of the most patient people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was able to answer every question we had and walked us through every step of the way. Even when we got cold feet and needed to sleep on our decision he put no pressure on us. So when we came back in the following day, Adam was so determined that all went well with us that he stayed with us throughout the finance part of the deal. I've never had someone do this for me. His expertise on the car we purchased was exceptional, and he was more than capable of demonstrating the use of each feature and how they function. I loved my service at Arlington. I couldn't get into the dealership right away and Adam did a nice job sending over videos of the vehicles I was interested in. With that Mike the manager sent a video over just saying hi and excited for me to be a part of Toyota family. Unfortunately I did not work with Adam because my schedule did not a line with his. I than met Bob! He was so wonderful, had patience, answered all my questions, and if he didn't have the answer he found it. The process was very smooth for me. The car I wanted this dealership did not have it. Within 24 hours they located one and brought it in. I totally recommend Bob every time. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars because they do not have lifetime car washes. I think this should be a standard. I believe they are in the process of potentially building on. I hope I get that benefit when it's done. The day I wanted to buy the car it took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. A lot faster than I thought. Watch out - What they quote on the phone is less than what they charge you - never happened until now . They don't honor the conversation you had on the phone especially the price they quoted on the phone when you set up the appointment for service . I have been using this dealer for over 8 years to get my service done for both cars Camry and RAV4- I noticed the customer service from the service center is getting WORST AND WORST each service I made, hung up on people rush through the calls - pretend they don't quote wrong price - Two days ago I called to set up for oil change and tier rotation and the guy who answered the phone hung up as soon as I said hello , so I called back and he answered- I asked is it still $12,99 for labor cost to oil change if I bring my own oil and filter ( which I always do) and he said yes and tire Rotation is $24.99 - when I picked up my car , they charged me $30 for labor cost -when I called back the service guy, Matthew said he will credit me $15 toward to replacing new tires on RAV4 then before end of our call he changed his mind because his manager said they have to charge $30 for labor costs .. couple weeks ago they quoted to change all full tires over $1000 but when I was there yesterday another guy quoted me $300 less so depends on who you talked to in that place - RECORED THE CALL if you can if they quote you the price on the phone otherwise they will run around and pretend did not know who quoted that price or set up the appointment on the phone and you will end up paying higher price they charged you because they already completed your service . read more
