I love the BBQ chicken salad. It's my "usual" when I go. The staff has always been wonderful. We recommend Arthur's to all of our friends.

We went here because my mom told me how great the burgers are and how excellent the service is. We were NOT disappointed! This is our new favorite bar and grille. I had the Sally burger and Cajun fries and the husband had the breakfast burger. The food was really, really good and the service was superb. Nice, comfortable atmosphere and clean. Not sure what all the hype is, but my mom and I tried this place saturday afternoon at 12:30, and now we understand why the parking lot was so vacant. We were told they had good burgers, so of course we each tried one. Our appetizer was more like Totino's pizza rolls with very little buffalo chicken in them. The burger patties didn't even seem seasoned at ALL. I guess the toppings are what's so special?? We tried it, now we know! That's all ya can do! read more

We love this place and frequent the Hyde Park location. The Anderson one has everything the original place has but with no hassle parking! We LOVE LOVE LOVE the service in both locations. We were telling the manager this on our last visit and he mentioned they have a really strict training program for their servers. Well, it definitely shows! And the food - the only agony is deciding what to eat because I have so many favorites at this place. Their soups and salads are all wonderful. Their burgers are the best in the land. Their fried cheese from their appetizers will make you never want to eat the cardboard tasting frozen mozzarella sticks ever again! Even their hot wings are amazing! We don't live near either location but veer out of way frequently to get our Arthur's fix. And we don't even drink. Their alcohol selection is amazing, too, for those who care about that. read more

I like this location better based on the food itself. The other location has a better ambiance to it. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away. The service was very friendly and efficient. The waitress was very attentive to details. My raspberries tea was never low. Each cup had fresh lemon wedges. That is a big deal to me because often time other places are stingy and uses old dry lemons. The fried cheese was phenomenal. The texture was perfect. Not rubbery like other places. The wings was fresh and crispy. I really like the fact that the wings and drums ratio was well balanced. The price wasn't unreasonable considering the portion size. Stopped in early on a Saturday afternoon. Business was light before the evening rush. Sometimes I worry about how the service will be when the restaurant is slow bc the wait staff typically doesn't have to work as hard. I was very impressed with the service we received from Paige. The menu seemed promising, but ultimately the food was mediocre at best. We started with the pink salsa and spinach chips, which was neither pink nor were the chips spinach. They were, however, stale and the salsa lacked any appealing flavor. I ordered the mahi tacos which were 'eh'. The tiny mahi nuggets were fried to nearly a burnt crisp and the tacos were slathered in a strange mayo. All of which was topped with canned runny pineapple. My husband ordered the chicken tenders, which tasted like any other standard bowling alley fare. Finally, our zombie server lacked all personality, never once cracking a smile while our drinks sat unfilled. Save your money, this place is overpriced for the quality and service. read more

We always get great food here. And we come here fairly often. Atmosphere is nice especially in the bar area. In fact we sat up front last visit right by the workers counter. So I got to see something I wasn't impressed with. I am a true ice tea drinker. Doesn't matter the season. I'm a little concerned that they keep the tea in open top pitchers. That is where everyone that works there stands, clears trays, etc. Anything can fall or fly into them. They need closed lid pitchers. Also I am a fan of keeping drinks filled. Nothing worse than eating, needing to wash your food down and your drink is empty. They are pretty good about refilling, I think they have certain people mainly doing so, however in some cases they have not been keeping up on it as they should. My last note... if someone orders no lemon, don't put lemon in their glass. But overall nice place, busy enough but not too busy where you have to wait long to get a table. read more

Arthur's in Anderson has great food and very friendly service. They have a great cod sandwich and the burgers are very good as well. The food is delicious and I always get great service there. Definitely worth checking out. read more

Took my elderly, disabled mother here for her birthday and I can't say enough nice things about how attentive the staff was to her. They saw that she couldn't get around very easily and they did everything they could to make her comfortable. It made for a very enjoyable, stress free lunch for both myself and my mother. Finally had an opportunity to stop in and check out the latest hot spot in Anderson Township this past Sunday night. My husband and I had just left the hospital after welcoming our first grandchild! We were seated immediately and our server came over to take our drink order. We each ordered a beverage and I made a point of telling our server that we were celebrating our first grandchild. She quickly returned with our drinks, just as requested and we placed our dinner order, the specialty of the house, their burgers. I chose to design my own burger, with caramelized onions and provolone, cooked medium rare. I thought the quality of the beef used was excellent, and the bun was very fresh. But the onions were definitely not caramelized, more sautéed and it was more medium well than medium rare. We didn't see our server from the time she dropped off our burgers until she came to take away our plates, though another employee, I think she may have been a manager, did inquire about our order. Neither my husband nor I ordered dessert, our server promptly brought our check. And I must say, I was a little surprised and disappointed that Arthur's failed to make a token gesture to our reason for celebrating. That being said,I might return to Arthur's...perhaps the Hyde Park location, to give it another try. read more
