Food is always fresh & made to order. Spicy combo fried rice & crab rangoons are my go to

We ordered takeout (which smelled delicious on the ride home) but overall we were very disappointed in the taste. We ordered shrimp with snow peas and steamed rice, shrimp lo mein, combination fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. The food was prepared very quickly--maybe too quickly--which made me think that much of it was pre-prepared. The shrimp in both dishes was gummy and I actually couldn't tell if it was batter fried or not. The steamed rice was hard and clumpy. The sauces for both the snow pea and lo mein dishes were pretty dry and flavorless. I thought some soy sauce might make a difference but it did not. Another family member said the egg rolls were not good. My husband said the combination rice was good but I didn't try it myself. Sadly, I cannot recommend this establishment. read more

ive been coming here for 10 years ive never had an issue until lately whoever is taking orders in front which sounds like the same girl every time lately shes been forgetting to put my order in she has me waiting 40-1hr for it and when i call to check on my order she say oh im sorry i forgot to put it in ill have it sent to you right away yea they fix the problem but the fact is that i have to call in every time to make sure its put in , today they had me waiting almost 2 hours she said the food would be ready in about 40 minutes ok so i waited 40 minutes mark hit and i wait till it was 1hr an i called and asked if my food was on the way she said yes ok so i waited and 30 minutes passed and i called her and asked again she said to give her a moment and hung up on me and they wanna call me 30 minutes later that's ridiculous i had 2 things shrimp fried rice and crab ragoons its sad because i know everyone there read more

Abby was the front cashier. She is very knowledgeable about what is best to eat in house & what to eat for the next day. This is very helpful and not common at other places I have visited. I had Orange Chicken (eat in house). I took Happy Family w/fried rice for tomorrows lunch for work. The Egg Drop soup & Orange Chicken was excellent in house. The service was good & the ambiance was casual. I would highly recommend the fresh tasting food. read more

I see the reviews, people are complaining about the wrong thing. One package of soy sauce, so how was the food? Asians not working in the restaurant. I have been to many restaurants where it is an Asian restaurant, but you have other cultures in the kitchen cooking and preparing your meals. Some of your biggest Asian restaurants have other cultures cooking and preparing meals, but you still eat it. I enjoy eating getting my food from there. I picked up an order here, the man that I talked to on the phone to place my order was very hard to understand. When I arrived the man at the cashier station was very polite and my order was ready when I got there. I started with the Hot & Sour Soup $1.75 which was probably the best part of the whole meal. Hot and tasty but generic. Their crispy wontons were stale though. I also got the Fried Crab Rangoon $3.95 for 4 and their Egg Rolls $2.00 for 2. The breading on the Rangoon was also stale and had 0 crab in it, not good. The egg rolls were nice a crispy but there was no flavor at all. I got the Sesame Chicken $9.75 with steamed rice. Normally this dish comes with broccoli but here they do bell peppers and carrots which is disappointing to me. I'm gonna give this place 3 stars since I can't leave 3 and a half for what it is,a solid place to get cheap and filling Chinese food delivered,they're fast and the whoever takes my order is always polite efficient and patient,very good COVID awareness by the delivery drivers and the most of the food is pretty damn good.We get the special for 2 that comes with 3 egg rolls 4 crab rangoons 2 can sodas 2 soups and 2 entrees for I believe 33 bucks after tax,we got Kung POW beef and orange chicken as the entrees,I really like the Kung POW beef it's got a little spice to it but not to much and there's a really great mix of veggies,the orange chicken was ok but tends to get soggy very fast,the sweet in sour chicken was basic not really different than any other place,I really like the chicken Lomain the sauce was good and the portion is nice.all in all we will be ordering from here again. read more

Still on the hunt for a decent Chinese place in Dallas. Prices are good, but like others state.. it's cheap! (Which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Portion sizes are great and the food is decent. I had wonton soup and the dinner order of Kung Pao. Nothing overly special, but a lot of filler veggies. The wonton soup was good! But it only had one wonton which was cut in half to give the appearance of two. I'd probably get the wonton soup again, but there wasn't enough meat in the Kung Pao for my liking. Ok, so we tried this place today for the first time. For delivery. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, Sweet & Sour chicken, House Special Soup, and Chow Mein. The soup was good, flavorful broth and a good mix of veges with some beef, chicken, but just two tiny shrimps which was kind of disappointing. The sweet & Sour chicken was tough and stringy and basically inedible. The teriyaki chicken was basically bland steamed pieces of chicken with some teriyaki sauce on top. This was NOT Chow Mein by ANY means. We're new to Texas and wanted to find a good place for Chinese food but I have to be honest and say we will probably keep looking. I would give this place five and a half stars for service from the moment I walked in everybody was very polite and very attentive, that goes a long way to making sure customers come back. I'm not sure if the place has changed owners but the food was not what I remembered it to be a few years back, there wasn't very many spices in the food or much taste, even though I asked for both dishes to be spicy. This no frills, neighborhood Chinese spot is on my way home, so it's super convenient. I had an order of crab rangoon, egg rolls, and chicken fried rice and all were delish! My only complaint is that the chicken fried rice was a little light on the chicken and the crab rangoon was made with egg roll paper (I prefer the spring roll paper). Oh, and they didn't give me any hot mustard, but I should have asked. If you're in the area, and looking for some fast & cheap Chinese food, this is your place. Veggie substitutions were printed correctly on the order receipt, but not what I received. Second order: Happy Family is described as spicy garlic sauce. It was greasy, bland and flavorless. it had 2 shrimp total, "beef" nothing but fat and gristle, and the shaved chicken rubbery and tasteless. As for the vegies, mostly water chestnuts (not even a listed ingredient) and bamboo shoots, about 8 baby corn, 6 pea pods, 4 broccoli florets, NO zucchini, onions or bell peppers. I was most disappointed, as they are friendly and attentive. Extremely bland, highly disappointing food. You're better off ordering elsewhere. Everything we've ordered is bland and tasteless to the point where it feels that you're barely eating anything. Sesame chicken - bland, shockingly flavorless for something drenched in sauce. Mu shu pork - bland, aside from the plum sauce. Fried rice - bland, no egg or peas or anything usually expected from fried rice. Crab rangoon - disappointingly bland. The sauce that came with it: literally impossible to tell what kind of sauce it is. It's neon red liquid with no flavor aside from a vague unidentifiable sweetness. Save your money and order elsewhere. We had to add our own soy sauce (none was provided) in order to make the food edible to make it taste like at least something. 2 stars because it's cheap and affordable. It's in a little strip mall like all cheap westernized Asian food should be haha. I ordered general tso's chicken, crab rangoons and the jalapeño wings. I would 100% come back if I had a craving for cheap Asian food. If I wanted to sit down and have a family meal this isn't the place but it's very good for quick fast and easy. And would be here 10/10 times over other quick style Asian food. General tso's was pretty standard wish I got more chicken but other than that it was cooked well and tasted on point. The crab rangoons were nice and crispy even when I got them for take out. Plenty of cheese not much of the crab but Id still order again because I loved the crunch and cheese.
