Wife and I had Valentines dinner here. Assaggio's may be the only restaurant in Kapolei that have white cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins, along with a rose on the table. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly as well. Service was efficient, friendly and professional. I got a veal entree with melted mozzarella and sautéed mushrooms and assorted veggies. Wife got a special Jambulaya. For desert we shared a Tiramisu, washed down with a glass of Tuscany Merlot. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. It's a nice slightly upscale restaurant, though still island casual. Plenty of free parking. Highly recommended.

On Monday, 7/7/25, at 12:30p my friend and I stopped by for lunch, at Assagio's in Kapolei. The restaurant was busy and we were readily seated. We were served our water promptly and given our menus to order. We were also given complimentary bread and butter as we waited. We placed our orders and then settled in enjoying our warm bread with our cold butter. It was also nice that we were given another basket of bread and butter to have with our meal. Our luncheon came soon after. My friend and I both ordered the Carbonara dish. I chose to have my Carbonara with Fettuccine and she had hers with Linguine. The Bacon and ham pan-fried in olive oil, garlic, onions, mixed with egg and parmesan cheese, was perfect. The Carbonara was savory and rich. The silky sauce that coated the pasta, achieved with incorporating the eggs and cheese with the hot pasta without overcooking them was sublime. We both enjoyed our respective dishes. It was also a pre-birthday luncheon for me and it was so nice of our waiter to surprise me with a Spumoni ice cream with a candle. The Spumoni was nice and sweet with the candied fruit mixed in with the ice cream. We definitely enjoyed our luncheon and it was wonderful that our waiter packed up our leftovers for us to eat for dinner later. We will definitely be back to Assagio's to have Italian fare again in the near future.

We visit here 2 times a month on average. I like the way they cook their noodles. Tonight and the time before was average. The chicken very dry and a bit overcooked for both my wife and my Chicken Assagio for $34.90. The service and ambiance are great as usual. I love their house dressing for their tossed salad for $10.90 and my wife's Cesar Salad for $15.90. I think we will try another Assagio's to see how it compares. It's good, but at $120 each visit for spaghetti it drops to average. But in the past, many times it's been above average so I'm thinking it's the holiday rush or a new cook.

This is my favorite Assaggio location on the island. It's not too big and the service is always good. The dining area is intimate and there is plenty of parking. The food here is always on point. I've tried many of their pastas and it's always full of flavor and super fresh! I also love their fresh baked bread and butter, it's super warm and soft every time. Some of my favorite dishes are the shrimp picante, lasagna, and their steak and chicken pastas. This is a good dinner choice for special occasions.

Bday lunch at Assagios. And of course I had to have my filet mignon pasta with extra sauce and rice on the side. Never disappoints!

Sooo delicious!!! I hesitated to come here but I was craving pasta. I had the chicken, Jumbo shimp and snow peas in a white wine sause. My husband had the chicken assagio. And we both topped it off with a Cabernet by Josh. Amazingly, incredibly delicious! My first visit and NOT my last. Looking forward to trying their other dishes. Service was very professional. Wonderful people. It doesnʻt sit much people so come early.

Assagios has been around for as long as I can remember but I don't come here often enough. We first tried to come for our anniversary but made the mistake of not making a reservation thinking it was not going to be super busy. It is a fairly small restaurant and they don't open super late. We learned from our mistake and came the following week. I used to always order the shrimp scampi but my more recent favorite is the chicken and shrimp pesto pasta. It is so creamy and yummy. My husband always orders the lasagna which he devours every time. They serve you as much warm bread as you want and the servers are always on top of their game. I definitely need to put this in our dinner rotation more often. And don't forget dessert!

We had six people who each had an entree ands we had 2 appetizers to share. $183. None of the people were happy with their dish and the appetizers were not very tasty. Everything was just Okay. But, there are plenty of choices in Hawaii for much better tasting foods for the same price. I think they must be taking shortcuts in the kitchen in order to have competitive prices. Attached is a photo of the lasagna which was $18 and whose flavor fell flat. This was by far the worst tasting lasagna I've had at any restaurant. The service was top notch being friendly, courteous, helpful and prompt

Today my office decided to do take out from Assagio's. We had the Jumbo Grilled Shrimp Salads and Lasagna. That dressing they use on the Salad is addicting. Oh and those Jumbo shrimps were huge and delicious . The Lasagna was a wonderful treat. Their Meat Sauce was so delicious . Definitely cravable. Everything was hot and ready for pickup as promised. Impeccable service.

Date night with hubby! Saturday night (July 26,2025 @5:00pm) The restaurant opens at 4:30pm and at that time we were the third table seated. We began our meal with the appetizer "Home Made Hot Antipasto" it is described as Mixed Seafood in Garlic, Spicy Cayenne and Paprika with White Wine Butter Sauce. I would definitely get this again and again. My suggestion would be to dip the warm bread they bring to the table in the white wine butter sauce. Hubby and I shared the classic Caesar salad. Crisp and fresh! Hubby had the "Shrimp Alla Francese", it is described as, Pan Fried Breaded Jumbo Shrimp in Egg Batter, Garlic, Lemon, and a White Wine Butter Sauce. LOVED IT! I enjoyed (but didn't finish it) the Lasagna. Perfect flavors, ample meat and onions. It is described as, Hearty Tomato Meat Sauce with Ricotta Cheese and Melted Mozzarella. The melted mozzarella was the lovely! I thought about enjoying a glass of wine but we skipped it this time and I just had an iced tea. The service was amazing, my water and iced tea glasses were NEVER empty. As soon as we were finished with a plate, the staff came by within 2 minutes to clear it from our table. Very attentive and friendly. Mahalo to Orin our server, and the entire staff!

Nice service and food was pretty good. Kinda pricey and not really somewhere I'd crave to go often.

Ok tried call tonight at 8:45 pm and they were closed. Does anyone know if they will be open on Friday the 5th for sit down customers?

I'm not sure if they are even answering their phones. We've struggled to reach them-assuming they shut down. Eventually, we just went in person and ordered carry out. Food was still amazing as always. But definitely a struggle to contact them.…

The Pork Ribs were actually the closest to previous pictured plates - tasted like "salt and vinegar" instead of "salt and pepper" - still skimpy (little meat covering huge bone inside)! My hubby ordered the Sesame Roasted Half Chicken $47 and Prime Beef Lettuce Cups $26. I tried their zero proof Parrot Punch (POG, coconut, fresh pineapple) $11. This drink was so good and it was served in a cute fish cup. They started us off with complimentary bread. It was naan bread with hummus. It was ok. The bread was cold and soft. The lettuce cups came out next. It was terrific. It had pieces of crispy rice to give it a crunch. The satay sauce just tied everything together. It wasn't spicy at all. The entrees came out after. My Lobster Pot Pie was assembled table side. I appreciated the presentation. The waiter was explaining the process to me. I liked when he said that they two onions were they eyes and the green beans were the antennas. This dish was fantastic, especially the truffle brandy cream sauce. My husband loved his sesame chicken. He gave me his wing portion and it was yummy. I loved the sweet glaze. Since, we were celebrating our anniversary, we got a complimentary dessert. It was a piece of their chocolate caramel crunch. It was like an elevated chocolate mousse cake, so good! I had a wonderful time. They validate for valet service.

(Im overdue with the review so forgot what pizza it exactly was) but i remember this was good. It was in the happy hour menu is all i can remember. - wings but unsure about the goat cheese dip. I prefer plain ranch - the kids pasta was good. Well, one kiddo loved it while the other didn't. So it depends on preferences on this one. I will say i did taste it and it was meh... - another kiddo got the shoyu noodles and its plain. So if you got a simple palate plain jane child, they will like this one. For drinks, it depends on taste and preferences. I was bummed on this one. Mainly looking fwd to the drinks and it didn't satisfy my tastebuds. It was too twisted, fusion, modified etc. i prefer a mai tai a plain old fashioned mai tai without the fixings. The orange foam was too strong it overwhelmed the dark rum im used to and prefer. So i decided to try the ube rey instead which was much better but still not as much to my liking/preferences. Went back to Aulani a but bummed and decided to get another at Aulani the next day instead and I will say, i liked it better as it followed the more traditional way of making it. So if you prefer traditional ways, this may not be for you and if planning to drink, simply keep with the simplier generic drinks, wine or beer. If you prefer to try different ways and flavors, then you will love this. Service was great and our server was attentive at all times. Thank you. Ambiance was good but outdoor seating may be a bit of a nuance due to flies swarming around you often. The swinging table fan helps but are still annoying plus the tropical heat also didn't help.

Everything came out hot and one dish after another, so there was never a dull moment. Now for the food... the edamame was a little too shy on seasoning. One of us packed it up for tomorrow's work lunch to give it a second chance. The fried noodles? I'd probably skip those next time. They just didn't stand out compared to everything else on the table. A couple of things to know before you go: there's no A/C, so it can get a little toasty. Our biggest battle of the night wasn't deciding what to eat--it was defending our food from the flies. They do have battery-operated fly fans for the tables, but they were all being used, and we were told a few weren't working. It would be great if they had more available since they definitely help keep the flies away. Overall, great company, good food, excellent service, and free parking? No complaints there! We'd definitely come back with the fly fans of course for back up.

Finally made it and it did not disappoint. Easy to find, clean and hospitable. Staff was friendly, like talk small kine story and showed Aloha. Good recommendations and descriptions of the menu options were given and recommendations followed. I tried the pork belly adobo and the ahi belly. My wife had the Garlic furikake chicken and the ahi belly. The star here was the Ahi Belly. Rich fatty Ahi Belly with the hint of garlic that didn't over power the fish. Portions were huge and welcomed after a 6h flight. The Pork Belly adobo had the right garlic adobe flavor and so ono with rice. The Mac salad met my expectations. The garlic furikake chicken was ono as well; tender and juicy with that garlic kick I would expect with the umami of the furikake. Broke da mouth grindz is now in my goto list when I'm back home visiting family. Mahalo nui.

Our favorites were the Braised Beef Shortribs, Pork Belly Fat Abobo, and Garlic Butter Shrimp. They are known for the Garlic Furikake Chicken, which was good, but a little hard to chew at times. The pork adobo rice is amazing, so definitely pay the extra charge for that over white rice. The pickled kimchee cucumbers were also delicious. I wish they sold that in a large jar to take home! They also have lots of ice cream pie desserts that looked delicious, but we decided to forgo that in favor of shave ice somewhere else.
