The scheduling was messed up twice before someone came out to give a quote. Had a pleasant meeting and was told a quote would be on the way. After 5 days, no quote. Called three times and was told I'd be hearing from them. Nope. My guess? The job at our house wouldn't make $$ compared to larger projects. Good service overall for the quote, evaluation and installation of a new heat pump. They ended up installing a Rudd, 2-tons HP and air handler for central heat/cool for the 850 sqft home. It's too early to say about the performance and energy consumption yet. There were some issues with the sizing of the air handler, and we had to be flexible and switch from Mitsubishi to Rudd and ended up with a much larger and louder condenser unit. Other than that Rafael was patient and helped with scheduling and pricing. Chepe, Cesar and Gabriel were great sport and managed to install within the day despite the initial delay. It helped my decision that Atlas Trillo was vetted and provided 0% financing through Home Depot. read more

Pablo and Alex helped installing our new thermostat system today and their service is really good. They used linen to keep the carpet clean, called ahead of time to give me an ETA, and we have dogs at home but they are really nice to my clingy and noisy fluffy babies! The work is done fast and efficient, our entrance is small but they managed to lift up the device and make it through. They cleaned up and vacuumed the workplace and gave me detailed instruction on how to set it up and who to contact for further inspection. Highly recommend! read more

The new system is very quiet, we have a new Nest thermostat that we can control on our Smartphone. Very handy. The technician was very informative to show us how to use the new thermostat. In the recent heat wave I realized my ac wasn't cooling. Called around and found nothing available because everyone's ac goes out under a load like a heatwave. When I reached Atlas Trillo they were quick to offer me a next morning time, to text to confirm it, and to give me an even more precise window for the repair person. Then I get a text the morning of saying they are over capacity and can't come at the given time but they can give me an appt a week out. Bait and switch? If it were really overwhelm and not enough service providers, why is it suddenly a week to wait? The texter was polite but could not offer me anything sooner than a week from now. Atlas Trillo was the Home Depot contractor, and Brandon was helpful in my deciding on a system upgrade that best fit my home's needs, and in setting up the necessary HOA paperwork. Installation availability and pricing were the deciding factors in choosing them. The installation technicians, Bryan and Jose I believe, arrived a few days later. They were right on time and an excellent professional team, explaining the process and equipment to me. Unfortunately, a frustrating last minute change was needed due to technical concerns, which they seamlessly navigated. Their hard work and quality service were greatly appreciated, and they deserve special recognition. They sent people to check again, found issue caused by different reason. Something to do with installation at 1st point. Asked them send people back to fix immediately because we are under heat wave. This company has been one of the most incompetent businesses I've ever had the misfortune to deal with. They were the first company that I contacted to install an AC in my new condo. I called them on a Friday, and they gave me an appointment on the same day which was nice. However, the email confirmation for the appointment said it was for Saturday. I called the company immediately, and they reassured me the Friday appointment is intact, and the technician is going to show up in the time window we initially agreed to. More time passed, and after contacting the company again multiple times, the whole 2 hour window passed an no one showed up. This was extremely frustrating considering I wasn't living at my condo at the time, and I had to take time off work, drive there and wait for more than 3 hours only for them to not show up. This fact was mentioned to the representative, and they still reassured me my appointment is good, and I just had to wait. But if you think that's the end of their mismanagement, you'd be wrong. I called them again, wanting to confirm that the Saturday appointment that they confirmed through email is at least intact, only for them to notify me that they can't even honor that appointment and the first appointment they can offer me is going to be for Tuesday. What made this whole experience even more frustrating was that most of their customer service people, especially the last one who notified me about the fact that the company is not going to honor neither of my appointments were extremely unprofessional. Not only the last rep did not apologize for their mistake even once, her tone was extremely condescending and without any exaggeration the gist of her message was "It is what it is. What are you gonna do about it?". Save yourself a lot of trouble, go with any of their competitors, and you'll thank me later. While they repaired the issue of the A/C unit (capacitor replacement) there are three things wrong with this business/approach: 1. Massively overcharging - $500 for the repair. $150 diagnostic fee + $350 replacement. Avoid at all costs. The cap cost is about 10% of the $350. So you do the math. 2. Massive selling - "your unit is old" and needs to be "replaced", the "electronics board" needs to be replaced or refurbished, but what is really wrong ... i.e. the quickest way to solve the problem is left as the last option. 3. The structure of the demanded fee for this is dishonest and bordering on grift. The $150 diagnostic fee, ok, we can understand. But now that you had diagnosed the problem, and know it's a 15 min job with essentially $35 part... what do you think is fair ? 10x ? That seems excessive. So "fool me once, shame on you..." as the saying goes. Will avoid in future. read more

I have used them for 20 years and installed multiple systems. I called for maintenance a month ago, service came out and said they needed to replace a part under warranty. A month later and 4 calls into service I still haven't heard back. They switched to a national call center last year and it obviously doesn't work. read more

Our nest thermostat detected an increase in the house temperature even though the AC was on and doing its work. Acting upon the notification I setup an appointment via Handy for a technician visit to come and have a look at our hVAC . Handy was able to locate Atlas Trillo as the company that would visit for the diagnosis. Dillon and Belsin were the technicians that arrived dot on time and started doing their inspection. They got down to the inspection right away and found out that the unit was running low on refrigerant ( by 2.5 lbs) which Dilon mentioned is something that he notices often when he visits sites that have the installation done for a year or so. After bringing the coolant up to the limit they were able to run a few tests and found out that the duct (16 Inches) that was setup initially ( this was done by a licensed handyman working for the seller from whom we bought the hose) for the unit is not sufficient and would eventually harm the AC given it's a 3.5 ton unit and needs at least an 18 or 20 inch duct. Dilon was kind enough to change the filter for us while Belsin made sure our coolant was filled in to the right amount and that the unit worked fine after. Definitely recommend their services!! read more

They came out, I mentioned what i did the tech touched the resistor and tried to cell me a new Furnace. I replied no thank you then he told me my control board was bad without testing any high and low pressure sensors or any other sensor? Then told me that would cost 1,200+ hundred. I then did some research and came to the conclusion, I could do a better job checking the furnace with all the helpful information from other technicians in threatened sharing the experience with everyone. I canceled the repair call and I am only out the initial cost for the first fist. Talked to another local hvac tech who quoted a lower price and learned all these guys do there own billing, seemed to me charging what they think they can get. There is no restrictions on them. I know there are some with a higher moral code but watch your self, do your homework first on the Company. Hope this helps. read more

Avoid them at all costs. I wish I could give a 0 star review to their services. I had a broken HAVC and scheduled an appointment with their company. The tech mentioned that it was a broken inducer motor and would cost $2000 to fix. He also mentioned that the system is a 12 yr old one and is near end-of life and would recommend replacing it since replacing the inducer motor would likely only give me 6months to 2yrs more. I got a second opinion from a different provided and they were able to fix the motor for $950. Told me that the system is 8yrs old and could easily run for 20yrs. They even showed me how I could look at the model number and figure out the age of the system. Clearly the tech who assessed my system had no clue what he was talking about or was straight up lying to me to get me to get a new HVAC installed. Stay away from this fraud of a company read more

My review is a pure warning ! Stay away from this company. If you hire them after reading these reviews you totally deserve what you will experience. When you are the most vulnerable and need help, that's when they take advantage of you and try to rip you off and play with your life and make your situation worse. My furnace stopped working it seemed it was the thermostat. So I bought a new one from home depot. I paid more to include the installation. The manager did everything for me and arranged this company to come and install it. / turns out this is the only company they work with...bad luck for me./ They called me right away, everything seemed OK. I told them I work till 5pm they said don't worry we can work around your schedule. We did set up an appointment next day between 5pm-9pm. But when I received the confirmation text it said between 4pm-8pm. It was weird but I was desperate needed heating so I canceled my last appointment /lost $150 because of that/ and I headed right away to home depot to get something and home after.. it was 3.30pm and I received a text that my technician was at my house and because I wasn't home he left and we need to reschedule. I called them right away and demanded to explain how is this possible that I made this appointment for after 5pm, then they incorrectly scheduled it for 4pm I was still good for 4pm I was just 5 minutes drive away and they showed up totally unexpectedly the lady spoke down to me the entire time like I have mental issues and said that that appointment was from 2pm-4pm. And I tried to argue someone who totally didn't care about my issue that I am freezing to death for days already and kept asking if I wanna reschedule and refused to come back in any ways or any time. Then I yelled and sweared that I would never want this company at my place. Over the phone they told me that they will charge me for $110 inspection plus the installation fee. I told them it's only 3 wires there is nothing to inspect just take off the old and put the new one back on. I could do it myself too but I want a professional to do it. Also I paid the installation fee for home depot already, then they started arguing, then bargaining and said that they might be able to match the price if I show proof. I said matching what???? I paid already there is nothing to match. I went to speak with home depot's manager right away and told him all about this and he said he can't really do anything this is the only company they work with and according to him they never had a problem with /BUT READING THEIR 1 STAR REVIEWS SAYS OTHERWISE/ AND MOST IMPORTANTLY HE TOLD ME THAT THEY NOT SUPPOSED TO CHARGE ANYTHING MORE THAN THAT I HAVE PAID ALREADY!!!! I feel that Atlas Tillo is not a truth-worthy company based on my experience interacting with this company. I found Atlas Tillo from HomeDepot when I looked for the HVAC service to replace my furnace in February. I scheduled an appointment and the estimator showed up and provided information about their service. All seemed well until the estimator broke the top panel of our build-in closet on his way down from the attic after inspecting the furnace. He said that he would report to the manager and the manager will contact us for repair. However, no calls from Atlas Tillo afterward. I started to call the company in the following weeks and each time I was told that a manager would contact me, but no one from Atlas Tillo actually called back. Finally a manager contacted me in March, and said he would take care of the damage. I provided all the information he asked for, now two months have passed and more calls have been made to the company, still no words about the repair from the manager or the company. If this is the way they treat their customers, please think twice before you do business with Atlas Tillo. read more
