Used this company in 2024 for heater tune up @ $49. They did a great job. Now they have been calling us daily to set up an air conditioner tune up @ $49. We scheduled with them today to come out today and got an email confirmation with date/time of tech arrival. We then received a text (not a phone call) from the service tech telling he is not coming to our house because they don't service/tune up air conditioners until May and to call the office to reschedule. Why in the world would the company have people calling every day, sometimes 2x a day to schedule and then disrespect us like they did. Service tech's response was-- that the salespeople are from Florida. Told him to remove our phone numbers from their system. We don't want to use their service any longer after the rude unprofessional text and disregard for our time. Very unhappy. Will take our business elsewhere. read more

The second person was very professional, but there was some billing question afterward (we got charged for $2000+ on labor unlike what was communicated). Just a couple of days before Christmas, our 20-year-old furnace went hard down. Oh no! We needed help, and fast. CJ of Atlas Trillo came out promptly and found some serious problems with the old furnace and flue. We had to have the whole thing replaced, and that's a tall order just before the holidays. But we got lucky. Atlas Trillo sent Koby and Alex out the next day. It's a big job to rip out an old furnace and do a total replacement, but they are pros. They started at 9 a.m., and I think they finished at 3 p.m. The new unit is a godsend. The install is a work of art (see the photo). The installation process itself was a lot of back and forth on scheduling and booking for additional work to be done, etc. Every time they promise to call me back, it almost never happens. Now, it's been almost a year since the installation and the inspection still hasn't passed yet and there are a few clear follow up items Atlas Trillo need to do. I have called the customer service phone number many many times, every time the call center person said they have sent a message to the manager/permit team/installation team, etc and someone will get back to me in 24-48 hours. However, nobody ever called back or emailed back. This is an extremely frustrating process and a waste of time! read more

Atlas Trillo installed a new furnace for us in January, 2025. The furnace began acting erratically and we called Atlas Trillo to investigate the problem. The service engineer who came to the house took the time to try to find the problem which was not simple. The company who manufactured the furnace did not want to honor the warranty because they claimed the furnace was manufactured in 2023 and we purchased it and installed it in January 2025. The service engineer and his managers took care of everything for us. They said they would honor the warranty and deal with the manufacture themselves. They ordered the parts and returned in two days to fix the furnace. We are warm again! We were happy customers for several years, but this year no more. Had someone come out to discuss quotes and service of our systems. Phone calls emails and text were not returned until days later. This even after we contacted them more than once. The customer service desk was not helpful either. They replied with lots of "I don't knows". It's true that the people who work for your business are a direct reflection of your company. Right now some of your employees are not up to professional standards. Atlas Trillo/License Rescue Rooter 10/31/25 technician replaced water heater. Arrived on time, work seemed satisfactory and he cleaned up after finishing. 11/11/25 City inspection per building permit. FAILED due to 2 issues with ducting and outflow valve. 11/11/25 Called Atlas Trillo to inform them that City inspector had identified issues that need to be fixed before permit will be signed off by the City. Was given a 24-48 hour callback window. 11/13/25: 48 hrs expired. Called Atlas Trillo a second time. Explained the problem all over again. Was told that a "second ticket" was being placed and again, was given a 24-48 hr callback window. 11/20/25: Still no callback after 6 business days since previous call to Atlas Trillo. I checked with the City regarding the permit, which was issued to ARS Rescue Rooter, and was told that the inspector has sent a copy of his comments to the contractor. There is no excuse to say that the contractor was unaware that the water heater had failed inspection. But I can't get a person on the phone at Atlas Trillo to speak to about this problem. AND they have no form of customer support contact except for phone numbers. As I write this I am tempted to change my review to 1 star (or even 0 if I could). However, I will see how this plays out in the near future. Oh, and we're coming up on Thanksgiving, so good luck with getting hold of anyone there due to the holiday. read more

Avoid them as they will lie to you and ask you to fix something that is not broken. My experience: I booked through Home Depot black Friday special tune-up. The appointment was set up with Atlas. The guy came and checked everything and said that the capacitor needs to be changed (reading 10 mfd instead of rated 7.5), and the cost is $300. I didn't change as the furnace was working fine and the cost seemed too high for capacitor. I had to call another company to confirm that the capacitor needed to be replaced. I found out that capacitor was working fine and was reading 7.7mfd not 10mfd as mentioned by Atlas Trillo. Conclusion: They were trying to fix something that was not broken and charge me $300. Update 2: The consequences of Atlas Trillo's incomptence continues years later. We started not getting any airflow upstairs... and when I called another group to look into it... they showed me the horror that was our ducting. As mentioned in my original review, the dual zone ducting mentioned was done incorrectly so turning on upstairs thermostat would blow air downstairs and vice versa (which is completely against the point of dual zone climate control). It sounds like the person from Atlas Trillo who "fixed" it... did a really quick and dirty patch job literally using "duct tape" to hold it all together that eventually fell apart a few years. There was one duct went to nowhere and was just sealed off with tape (probably a mistake that wasn't fully cleaned up). In general, with A/C ducting... you want the ducts "links" to continually get narrower as you split the air to maintain air pressure. That's not the case in our installation... where they use the same diameter after a split... and even in one section a 10" duct to a 12" joint that was held together with duct tape, which fell apart caused a huge leaking gap (see photo). read more

I have used Atlas Trillo for years but no more. Almost every appointment I've made with them has been cancelled multiple times claiming their workers were on jobs and couldn't make my appointment. I was cancelled three times until I finally got a person to show up for an air conditioning service. Are they short of staff, overwhelmed with jobs, or just providing poor service and getting away with it. When you get help they do an adequate service but staying home for an appointment is a risk I no longer want to make. Goodbye and good riddance!! read more

He presented me with all the AC options for my home and provided a very competitive proposal. I needed the install to happen ASAP and he made it happen by scheduling it a few days later. My AC stopped working. So I called Atlas Trillo. They said they'd send somebody. Nobody came. I called again the next day. Somebody came. They said I needed to replace a filter. So I did. It helped for a day or two, and then the same problem came back. So I called them again. Nobody came. I called them daily for five days in a row. Every time they apologized and said somebody would come. Nobody ever came. So I told them to sod off and called another company. They came out the same day and found the correct problem immediately (without even having to open the AC unit), since there was ice on the pipes coming out of it. I had my AC and furnace installed with Atlas Trillo through Lowe's in March 2025. The installation process itself was Ok, but my post-installation experience has been horrible. Atlas Trillo is supposed to contact their subcontractor iPermit to schedule a HERS test and issue a HERS report, then followed with the city inspection. Now, it's been 7 months since the installation and the work still has not been completed. After the installation, I called the customer service phone number many, many times to schedule the HERS test. Every time the call center person said they would send a request with escalation to the manager/permit team/installation team, etc. and someone would get back to me in 24-48 hours. However, nobody ever called back. I also emailed and texted multiple people including the sales person and the initial contact who scheduled the installation. Finally, I received an email at 1 pm saying that an appointment for HERS test had been set up for 12 pm the same day. How could an appointment be set up in the past? Anyway, nobody ever showed up to do the HERS test. Somehow Atlas Trillo or their contractor arranged for city inspection this time before ready, and surely it failed the inspection because HERS test had not been done yet and of course there's no HERS report either. The city inspection failed also because of an error in the wiring connection. The city inspector asked to get the repairs done and a HERS report issued before they come again. I called Atlas Trillo call center again, and got the same response. After many, many phone calls, the repair was finally scheduled. I went through the same process again many, many times trying to schedule the HERS test. I have not gotten any luck up to now. The summer is almost over, and I still don't know whether it's safe to use the AC. I don't know whether the furnace is safe to use when winter comes. This is an extremely frustrating process and a waste of time! I was thinking of making a complaint with the complaint department in Atlas Trillo, but the call center said they did not have one. I decided to write a review on Yelp because I hope Atlas Trillo realizes the frustration of the customers and will do something to improve. read more

Had a new and more energy-efficient furnace installed today, replacing a furnace that was close to 40 years old (and way past its life expectancy). From the initial visit with Santino to the installation itself, the service was awesome. The two techs who came out, Pablo and Gabriel, arrived on time ready to get the job started. They were professional, and courteous, and got the job done expeditiously (and happen to be Niner fans to boot so always happy to meet other Faithful Fans!) They also helped me set up the thermostat on my phone (something I could never figure out with my old thermostat). They get 5 stars because the service was just that, 5 stars. They showed us how the new furnace worked, answered all our questions, and waited to ensure the system was working efficiently and effectively. I had a very negative experience with their scheduling recently. My AC repair appointment was originally scheduled for a Saturday. I soon got a confirmation email, then the next day they called saying they didn't have a technician available. This is fine, I understand, especially since it was a weekend. So I asked to reschedule for the coming Monday and they agreed. Then I waited hours on Monday and nobody came. So I called, and the recipient told me I wasn't scheduled! Though they were willing to reschedule again, I didn't want to waste any more time on their unreliable scheduling process and decided to go with a different company. For those who want to use this company, please be aware that their scheduling is at the best effort and don't trust the "confirmed" time promised on the phone or the email. Their recipient explained that it was because they were "overbooked" for Monday. I don't know how that could happen, don't you know exactly how many technicians you have and how much workload they can handle? I worked with many companies in the past for different repairs and never saw such a thing. I'd recommend Atlas Trillio learn to respect other's time. You are not the only one "busy" here. And not everyone can work from home anytime. It's worth noting that they have a dispatch fee of $190 which is expensive (so if you don't have any fixed you'll still need to pay $190). For whoever is looking for a HVAC fix, please do your homework and get more quotes. I called Atlas to investigate a gas furnace that was not starting. The repair person diagnosed the issue, repaired it and then explained everything that was wrong or could go wrong. The repair person was very nice and I have no issues with the individual. He summarily told me the repair fee was $500. He did not breakdown the parts/labor. The next day, I looked up the part that Atlas replaced and discovered it was between $65 and $125. The repair took about 15 min. They charged me $500. I tried to call Atlas to give them a chance to respond and adjust the fee. They took my information and assured me someone would call back. Nobody did. After a week, I called again to see if someone wanted to speak to be about the service and fee. Again, I was assured someone would call. Nobody did. As a result, I am posting this review. I do not recommend using Atlas. Given the cost of the part, I should have paid $250 at most. And then refusing to discuss the issue with me is another negative. Next time, I'll call another repair service. read more

These guys are a joke. Horrible service, horrible communication and completely incompetent. They have a call center that schedules appointments without checking with their local team. You end up modifying your day waiting for the tech and then get a call that they have no technicians available and that "its their stupid call center in Florida" that makes the appointments. They finally came out and said it was an electrical issue and needed an electrician. Electrician came out and said the electrical was fine and it was a furnace issue. Called Atlas Trillo back and they did it again, scheduled from 8-noon and didn't show, then pushed from noon to 4, didn't show, then pushed to next day 8-noon promising I was first visit. By 9:45 am, no one. Called the call center and was informed that a local dispatch would contact me. Nope. Called again, and then was told a tech had tried to call me saying there was nothing they could do... but I have no calls on my phone from anyone. These guys are bunch of bungling incompetents. I had a complete central heating and a/c system installed, replacing on old floor furnace. Pablo and Alex did a great job. The main thing I want to emphasize is that they are very careful. In particular, they test their own work, making sure everything works, and works together. We had an issue - something looked odd when they were demonstrating how to control it to me and doing their final tests. They tried a bunch of things, and eventually tracked down the problem to a defective thermostat - they'd reused the one I already had. In the course of this they ran well past what should have been the end of their day - but kept at it until everything worked. Several other things stand out: - They were good at communicating. I knew what they were doing and why. We discussed placement of vents, A/C unit, and furnace, and then they made them happen - or explained why slight changes were needed. (A couple of vents moved a foot or two from where we'd planned, to avoid obstacles visible only from below.) - They were very good about making only minimal mess, and cleaning up what mess they made. They clearly regard a vacuum cleaner as an essential tool, along with more obvious HVAC tools. - Related to that, they closed doors, turned out lights, and generally left things as before . - They were willing to move heavy objects for me. I'm old, with a bad back. I moved what I could, but a couple of pieces of furniture were beyond me. They cheerfully moved them - and put them back afterwards. read more
