Attic Bros continues to impress me. I called them back since a warranty for pest control was included in my attic job from a few months ago. My appt was originally a week out but something opened up much sooner and they moved my appointment up. Ricardo showed up in the morning as scheduled. Did a super thorough check of the inside, outside and roof of my house to see where the rodents were coming in. He even pulled out the washer dryer. He was WAY more thorough then any of the other pest control companies we called prior to remembering we had a warranty with Attic Bros. Long story short all the entry/exits inside were sealed up by Ricardo and his teammate (didn't catch his name), and they gave us some glue traps and suggested where to put them. He was very comprehensive in explaining my options and the steps that would be performed. Our attic insulation was original to our house from 1979, so I wanted to improve the heat retention. I used Yelp to find vendors, and I chose Attic Bros and two others to come out and do an analysis. Among the three, Michael from Attic Bros did the most thorough analysis, explained things in the most logical and thorough way, and then came in with a price that was competitive with the others. The office staff followed up on everything from beginning to end. I was always aware of the next steps and timing. They handled the BayREN rebate paperwork quickly and followed up with me through that process. The onsite crew was efficient and minimally disrupted our work-from-home life. I got frequent updates on progress, and the clean-up was spotless. My wife has commented that since the installation, the house feels warmer. I don't have any data yet as to whether our energy bills will decrease, but I think that Attic Bros' work is actually going to keep my house warmer in winter and cooler in summer. read more

Attic bros were by far the most organized right from my first phone call. We needed attic insulation to be looked at and we got a Sales person - Michael come visit us and gave us the most comprehensive estimate with details. Then, once I approved the estimate, we had a project manager - Jordan come in with his crew who were extremely efficient in what they were doing. We were constantly informed of what they crew was working on what we needed to expect. Props to Jordan for health checking all of our vents while he was here. We have rodent issue in our home which is only a one year new construction. Jordan came to do an inspection and gave us honest and practical suggestion to better replace the blown-in insulation with batt insulation for easier and complete investigation (and future investigation) of rodent entry. Vic and his crew came to replace insulation, seal up holes and clean the attic with clean and neat quality. They covered up the work area in my home including walls and floors with plastic protection, and provide photos of the holes they found. When I still hear the rodent activities afterwards, Jordan and Vic came back four times within two weeks to look for new holes. Eventually, Vic brought a three-story ladder and climb onto the roof to find the root entry point, which looks like a construction defect. They also find two holes on the roof of my neighbors in the same building (we are a 6-unit townhome). Ironically, the builder arranged a roofer to come inspect a week ago without any finding. I'm so glad we can finally root cause the issue and proceed to next step! Among all the people I've talked to in the past month about the issue, including the builder, HOA, roofer, neighbors, etc., Vic and Jordan have been the most responsive and responsible people! 3 years ago we engaged Attic Bros to help with a rat problem in our attic. Unfortunately, rats are tenacious and we recently discovered that they've come back. We had a 5 year warranty from Attic Bros so we shot them an email to let them know. Someone got back to me in 15 minutes of my email and offered to have someone come out within 2 days. Attic Bros sent Ricardo over. He was polite, punctual, efficient and sealed up the new holes quickly. Obviously, we'd rather not have had the rats come back, but these things happen even if work is perfectly performed and we are glad that we went with a reputable company like Attic Bros that honored their warranty with no questions asked. They did a really good job at my home today. A team of 4 guys worked hard almost all day long hauling out my old insulation and garbage from my attic. They sanitized it and put new fluffy pink insulation. All the holes and vents they were able to secure and seal. The inspector Ori came on Sunday to quote me and the next day Attic Bros was here at my house doing the service. The lady Katherine in the office was helpful and scheduled me for the free inspection and made scheduling the job easy for me. We had both rodent problem in the attic and dampness issue in the crawl space. After getting more than 5 quotes, we are thrilled with Attic Bros' competitive pricing, thorough inspection, excellent communications and customer service throughout the process. Ori did the inspection and walked us through his detailed findings, we liked that he didn't try to upsell us and provided honest feedback. We ended up getting new attic insulation for the attic and vapor barrier for the crawl space, the rodent proofing seems robust both inside and outside. Vic and crew did a great job, they arrived on time, worked timelessly throughout the day and left our place spotless clean. The one aspect I don't like as much is the brown/dark color of insulation material and black vapor barrier material used, personally prefer lighter colors for the ease of dirt or animal dropping detection, but so long as the material is high quality and functional, I guess the color is not as important. Attic Bros did work on both my house's attic and crawlspace: cleaned, put new insulation, replaced my old attic fan, with a new one; Cleaned furnace ducts, crawlspace cleanup, new insulation, and rodent proofing everything. They prep the path to attic (inside the house) w plastic. All went really well. They take photos. In my case, I noticed, that I did not have photos of a couple of items that were to be done, so they came back, doubled checked, took photos of some of the items that had been done, but they had missed taking photos, and finished the one or tow that were missed. I posted a review in 2021. I was asked to remove it after the owner asked me to. Let me share my experience. Michael, who gave me the estimate, sold me on new insulation and a heat barrier. That was fine. When I asked about the labor guarantee, he said, "we'll leave your place no worse than it already is", which is guess is the crooked way of saying, we'll return your house back to shape that we found it. So the insulation gets put in. In the process, a few recessed lights below the attic get pushed down through the drywall. The drywall surrounding the housing is cracked and crumbling. Additionally, hatch to the attic access was filthy and they didn't even bother to clean it. So they assured me it would get fixed and not a problem at all. I would have thought they would have sent out an experienced painter, but this guy is just a handyman. And he slaps a crap ton of caulking all over the cracked drywall and then uses a spatula to do a bang up texturing job. It was a horrific effort. I eventually hired someone on my own and the owner reimbursed me. I will say the owner was responsive and eventually made things square but it wasn't without a fair amount of headache and more days off from work than should have been necessary. read more

I wanted my old insulation removed, the attic thoroughly cleaned and checked, install specific Knauf R38 EcoBatt insulation with an EcoFoil Radiant barrier. Our house gets very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The Radiant barrier + the eco-friendly R38 insulation should address this problem. AtticBros were very professional from start to finish. From setting up the appointment, the inspection phase, the quote, the scheduling, the work onsite and follow ups were all done very professionally to the T. Sergio and his crew did an amazing job in our attic. I wish we could give more than 5 stars, and I'm serious! Our attic space is a bit weird -- the previous owners did an add on but kept the old roof line in the attic, so parts of the attic are really, really tight and awkward. He and his crew arrived on time, vacuumed out all of the old insulation, repaired old, damaged vents so rodents couldn't get in, and put in brand new R38 insulation. The whole job took 3-4 hours. They were really efficient, given the size of the job. My house is 1850 sq ft. Their pricing is super reasonable, too. We called around and got different quotes and they were the most reasonable and provided the best service. I'm wrapping up a total house renovation, and I've worked with some terrible contractors over the last year. These guys are the complete opposite. I'd hire Attic Bros again and again. My 5 stars would firstly go to Heraldo, a handy man from Attic Bros. He is the 4th person came to my house, who finally fixed the rodent issue. He spent 4 hours, cleaned the gutter, took care of the roof, disinfected the attic and the crawl space. He also entered the crawl space to put the traps, replaced the old traps in my attic. Vic came to see the attic and provide estimates. His crew came and looked at the entire attic including the vaulted ceiling and the garage. On the day of the job, they did a fantastic job of checking and covering all openings due to light fixtures,vents, water pipes etc. They even cleaned the attic meticulously and showed pictures to see (before and after). This is not just a couple of pictures, this was everything. Their crew laid plastic and made sure that our house was kept cleaned and unaffected while they worked and cleaned up after they were done. I had my attic insulation replaced with batt about 2 years ago. They also replaced all air ducts and I had to call back to seal a leak. Even after that, my heating bill was unusually higher than with my old insulation. Rcently this year found out the insulation was not properly filled throughout and especially no insulation around the perimeter of the attic during roof inspection. These guys do excellent work. We had our old blown-in insulation removed and replaced it with fiberglass batts. The supervisor on our job was Carlos. Carlos has broad experience in other fields. He can deal with a lot of different problems. There were also several other workers on our job. This ended up being an all-day job and we never saw anyone take a break. They are very hard workers. Carlos solved any problems that came up and the workers kept grinding away. I also dealt with Kathyrn in the office, and she was very helpful. She handled all of the BayRen paperwork and answered all of my questions. We got several bids on this job and Attic Bros price was comparable to other bids we received. We did not choose them because they were the lowest priced but rather because they had the product we were looking for and they listed in their bid all of the things mentioned in the energy audit we had done previously. A follow up on the work. Maintain 5 star rating. After a week of their work, we checked on of our attics, noticed a mouse was caught from their traps. I was warned that it would happened as the hidden mouses no where to go after their work. I called them and they came back to do a follow up next week (they have a complimentary follow up within a year and usually they will set things up in 2 to 3 weeks after their first work). A rodent expert, Dave came in on time, took care and clean up, re-inspect all 3 areas. Nicely done, no more noise and we checked one of our ceilings again today (3 weeks after Dave re-inspection), it is good. They seem to have the process figure out.
