We had some rat problems in our house recently, so I called Attic Bros to come and have a look. The person who came to do the assessment was very good. He seemed knowledgeable and went to our attic and found no trace of recent rat activity. He then went to the crawl space and found rat activity. Based on his suggestion we decided to get the attic cleaned and insulated and also the crawl space. We were promised that both of them can be done in a single day. On the day of the appointment, a fairly big crew of around half a dozen people came in and started cleaning the attic. They spent the better part of the day doing that. In the afternoon, they started cleaning the crawl space. They were done by around 6 pm in the evening. Their work on the attic seems fine based on the pictures they shared with us. However they didn't do a good job on the crawl space. We were promised that they would go through all the openings/vents and close them. However, they didn't do a good job at all on that. I had to point them to fix one one of the vents which was so obviously visible. The very next day, the rat was back and had slipped out by making a hole through the foam they had used to cover one of vents. I called them the next day and they promptly showed up. This person was more professional and fixed the holes with mesh, which seemed more sturdy. A few days later we could hear rat activity at the same place where we had originally heard it. So we called them again. The same person came back again to have a look. His conclusion was that the rat was attempting to enter but didn't succeed. So I asked him to take one more look at all the vents and secure them. He secured one of the other vents near the a/c wires where they seemed to have attempted to enter through. After this, we haven't had any rat problems. Have to see what happens once winter starts though. Recently, I noticed that the rat had chewed through one of the other vents. Thankfully, it was while exciting, I think because we don't hear of any more rat activity. All in all, we paid a lot of money for this job and we expected them to be thorough: they missed a couple of vents that I could identify as needing fix. Having to double check their job job after paying thousands of dollars is not what I expected. However I'm happy with the fact that they responded well when ever I called them and the person who came to check did a good job. read more

Attic Bros. replaced our house's insulation and air ducts in Jan 2021. As part of the work, they also cleaned, sanitized, and sealed all the potential entry points for rodents. Work has been great. Over the past 2.5 yrs, when we have detected some activity, they have come back and done a good job in sealing new holes and resealing/reinforcing old ones. Most recently, Ricardo has been to our house for service. He is extremely courteous and professional. Took the time to understand the concern and did a thorough job in finding new entry points and taking care of them. He went over and above the even helped us seal our deck! These guys are great David was the site manager and came with a crew of three. Very professional and clean. Covered everything. They went up to the attic and while removing the insulation they wrangled one live rat and two dead ones. I asked David to release the live one far away from here and to please not kill it. He said he would.They were thorough and efficient. They will lay traps and come back in a couple of weeks to check to see if any more buggers got in or were hiding in the walls. I had Micheal come out and give us an estimate. He did a great job and we decide to go with this company over the other two. Their price was higher but we thought worth it. Then after a delay getting contract out, they call and say they are rejecting the job. When I asked why, David called and gave a reason that the 3rd party asbestos company raised their price. I then offered to pay the difference and was willing to work with them. David then went into other reasons to not do the job. This guy seems dishonest and shady which is hard to believe with the reviews here. I wouldn't waste your time because they have too much business or want to overcharge. read more

My house has had rodent issues for 1-2 years and I just realized that after going up my attic while checking my cable wiring and found tons of droppings over the insulation. Shortly after I reached out to a few companies for quote in addressing this issue. After getting quotes from a few companies I decided to go with Attic Bros as their quote seems most reasonable among all. Plus Eric who came by to give the quote is a great guy. Things went a slight downturn from there as they had to change my first two appointments (I made arrangement to stay home during those periods) due to sickness of the worker and their truck had an accident plus the communication was poor as there was no proactive communication about these until we called after not seeing anyone coming during the designated time. As this was the first two appointments, I became increasing skeptical about the company. After the second event I raised my disappointment to the manager Joey. He apologized and promised to make things right. He went out of his way personally to drop by my place on the same day as the second appointment and took care of any work needed. After the 2nd appointment it took a couple more appointments to really eradicate the rodent issue. Everyone came on time for those appointments and did a great job. I wanna specifically call out Carol who did a great job with rodent proofing and the final sanitation. To get some peace of mind I also purchased 5 year warranty which Eric promised to repeat the same work they did this time around if any rodent issue happens again (which they are confident it won't as they stood behind the quality of their rodent proofing work). Overall I'm happy with the fact the business is committed to make things better for customers. And really took care of the rodent issue on my attic. Just moved to the area and needed the air ducts of my new home cleaned. I knew the house was in disrepair but when we saw the "after" of what was in the machine when they were done.... Wow! And yuck! Rodents in the attic lead me to the guys of Attic Bros. Due to the damage done, I put the guys to work. Not only did I need to rodent proof my house, I also needed to re-insulate the attic. Isaac and his team made sure to walk around the house with me and pointed out the most vulnerable entry points into my attic to reassure me they were going to seal it off. Additionally, they made sure that the two day process wasn't going to interfere with the cleanliness of the rest of the house. The house was always maintained well. And while I had them working up there, I decided to switch out the furnace because winter was coming and I no longer wanted to live without a heater. I havent look at the numbers from nest yet, but we instantly notice a difference right away. The house seems more cozy now, it actually feels like a home. Before, it felt super cold at night. The Attic Bros team was highly responsive and extremely professional. Our insulation inspection was done by Kuda, who was warm, thorough, and clearly an expert in his field. He was very helpful with questions we had even after the inspection, and we noticed that he also treated our home with extra care while he was here, making sure to leave everything as it was, and cleaning up any debris after himself. The work was done by Vic and his team, who were very friendly and helpful with any questions as well. They were in and out so quickly, and also took great care with our home (including being considerate of our cats!). Excellent service! We were very happy with our experience with Attic Bros. The first step was an inspection and estimate. Michael came out to visit the house and was very thorough, detailed, and transparent in his explanation of the steps that needed to be taken to fix our infestation problem. Even though the actual inspection only took 20-30 minutes, he and I chatted for another good 30-45 minutes discussing the project. He was willing to answer every question I had. He also showed me photos he took of the attic and crawl spaces. The second step was the actual cleanup. Jordan and his team came out as scheduled. They did a good job with replacing my attic insulation and I would recommend them. They covered up the house areas nicely to prevent dust going everywhere. They cleaned up my old fill-in insulation and put new batt insulation. And they cleaned up after themselves thoughtfully. The quoted price was comparable to two others. Needed to install insulation in the attics of my duplex. This company is one of the best I have done business with they came out for the estimate and explained to me each step of what they were going to do. I got one other estimate and was more comfortable with Attic Bros. When the crew came out for the actual installation they went over everything again and the job was perfect. I am very impressed with the Jo's they even did a little extra at no additional cost. I would highly recommend Attic Bros for any insulation work and would definitely call them first if I need more work.
