Probably a good place ONLY for vehicles that are under warranty. Out of warranty vehicles? You will be rolling a dice. My Q5's sunroof shade sagged while the vehicle was under their care. And they had the nerve to want to charge me to fix/replace the sunroof shade. And I had just the water pump replaced on this service center. Was going to pull the trigger on other repairs to be done on this same dealer. However, they just blew it. Whoever is instructing the service managers to have little to no wiggle room needs to be replaced with someone competent and know customer service. And I am one of the few who will go to the same dealership for service needs for the life of the vehicle-even when the vehicle is out of warranty-for service maintenance. Just like with the Japanese brand, Mitsubishi at Puente Hills, I still go and recommend that service center for Mitsubishi owners for their vehicle's service needs. Their sales department are not the greatest. However, that dealership, in my opinion, is being saved by their top notch service department. Repeat customer for Audi Pasadena's service department no more. Reviews on phone calls being ignored are pretty much true. Probably, it is the management's policy advising service managers to ignore the phone calls. Be wary of the 5 stars rating, either those are for their sales department, serviced vehicles under warranty, or fake review to boost the rating. Reviews for sales department is quite understandable to achieve a 5-star rating. I had to bring in my car for a recall swap. Ill timing as it was the holidays. Yet, despite that the service center provided an excellent experience for me. Arnold was my service rep. Nice guy. Audi's designers and engineers certainly have achieved it with several new and concurrent models. After a few test drives and caffeinated conversations I knew I wanted to invest in a top-trim model but inventory was an issue statewide. Luckily, I got a notice from Daniel that the dealership had taken inventory of a car I had not originally planned on buying but came highly recommended based on my preferences. Sure enough I rolled through the next day made an offer which was accepted by Rusnak's sales team and then began my story with Audi. Every time I come to service the car, I'm feel like i'm handled as a priority. Rudy is usually my advisor but they're all great. I am usually texted my appointment schedule and am called when there is any attention required. Best part of it is, we actually didn't lose any of the benefits from Covid like other dealerships who don't want to give loaner cars or decommissioned their drink machines. Don't waste your time bringing your vehicle here for service. I scheduled an appointment in advance, dropped my vehicle off prior to my appointment, and was told the car would be completed that day. I requested a scheduled 30k service and diagnostics for a few warning lights that were coming on. I received ZERO communication for the remainder of the day. I left a voicemail for my service advisor, Christian and he did not return my call. I called a second time to discover the service department was closed. This was a Friday, it would've been nice to know that my vehicle was going to be in the shop over the weekend. I eventually got a hold of an operator (that I'm not even sure is onsite -- I think Audi may use a call center, so you are not communicating with anyone who is actually at the dealership unless you know it's the service advisor) was unhelpful, informing me that the service department is incredibly busy and I could try again another day. If the service department is so busy that they cannot finish an oil change, a tire rotation and putting the car on the computer for a diagnosis in a day (as promised), then hire more techs or stop taking appointments you cannot fulfill. I contacted the dealership again Saturday morning, proceeded to talk with a different operator who could not reach anyone in the service department. Frustrated, wanting an update on my vehicle, and also needing my vehicle, I made my way to the service department. While there, another customer was also complaining about the lack of communication from the same service advisor, as his vehicle had been in the shop for 3 days with no communication at all. Rudy, a different service advisor, checked the status of my vehicle to discover that nothing had been done with my vehicle. It sat on the lot all day, supposedly was brought into the shop in the afternoon, with nothing completed. I left with my vehicle, and Rudy claiming that he would notify the service manager, Jeremy of my situation and that Jeremy would call me on Monday to rectify the situation. Here we are end of day Monday, and I have not heard from the Jeremy. I am a loyal customer, who will return to a business time an again, if I feel I'm being taken care of and my time and investment are respected. Rusnak Auto Group claims to have "high standards, a professional atmosphere and a pervading sense of quality." This was not my experience at Audi Pasadena. read more

I leased an expensive car from Audi Pasadena. It did not come with a front license plate holder. A front license plate is required by California. I had to buy a license plate holder from Amazon. After asking for the receipt and indicating that they would reimburse me, they refused. It was only $43. I thought that was terrible customer service. I told them that. They did not care. Really the worst. Bring your vehicle in for a simple service, an oil change, at 9am and you MIGHT get your car back that day. My experience is getting my car back at 6pm, on multiple occasions (why did i keep going back? the car was still under warranty). Sometimes I haven't been able to get my car back until the next day. More recently when Ive brought my car in, I have asked how long the service will take. I have always been told a service person will call me and let me know. The call comes in hours later and I am still left waiting. I really hate coming here. Supposedly loaner cars are available. Last time I asked, I was told there was a 20 person waiting list. What?? The key was stolen on a Wednesday. I called a few times (kept being forwarded to an Audi call center and NOT the Pasadena office) and told them I needed a new key. I had to come in person, with proof of ownership and purchase the key in person. Audi normally provides an Uber but because my vehicle wasn't there for service, I couldn't get one. I explained to them that I couldn't bring the car there because I didn't have a key and so couldn't drive the car. Still they said no. Fine, ok. 7 days $1000 and 11 phone calls later, I finally picked my new key up this morning (Wednesday). When I went to start my car a few hours later, I couldn't. It WOULDNT START and the dash showed "key not found". I was also unable to use the keyless lock/unlock feature. I called and they were able to tell me how to start the car and said I would need to bring it back so they could check the programming. I went back a third time. Fifteen minutes later, the service employee Rudy R. brought my car back and said they had reprogrammed the key from "the bottom up" and it would work fine now. Previously, on my first visit I had been told by Brandon (Brenden?) that it would take 1-1.5 hours to program my key at a cost of $273. So, now Rudy was able to reprogram the key in 15 minutes?? Im sure they have some reason why this is so but at this point I feel completely jerked around. I never want to come back here. They second star I gave them as a rating is for having professional, cordial employees, a beautifully clean dealership and decent free coffee and sparkling water in the waiting area. To wrap up, my experience in dealing with this Pasadena Audi dealership and service center has been so frustrating, time consuming, costly and displeasing that I am sure I will never purchase an Audi again. My Dad also owned an Audi and had similar experiences in dealing with his Audi and local dealership. Its a really great car but not worth the hassle. read more

Worst experience ever... In October of 2024 my car (leased 2023 Audi A5) had some weird issues, some warning signals were on and my AC stopped working. My car was towed to Audi of Pasadena. My car was there for 4 months, yes, 4 months! They updated me here and there that they are trying o figure out things. First they said it was something electrical and it was fixed. after that it was the battery and they had to order it, after that they had to look into it more, etc. So 4 months later , which was about a week and a half ago I got a call from the dealer saying they won't continue fixing my care because the manufacturer said the incident or the cause is not covered by warranty. To my question what was the cause the answer was they don't know and they have to look into that more. They told me to come get my car and if I want it fixed I have to pay out of pocket . I asked them if they don't know the cause how can they say it is not covered my warranty. The answer was that I will get a letter in the mail. I picked up my car , the AC is not working and the heater is not working. I have to drive in this cold weather with my kids every day without any heater. I haven't gotten any letters from audi explaining why it is not covered by the warranty (I doubt I will ever get a letter because there is no logical explanation. I have had multiple audis for the past 10 years. This will my last one. So they don't know the cause , my car is not fixed and they won't fix it because according to them the "unknown" cause is not covered by warranty. I am actually sending an email to the President of Audi of America and Sr. VP of service and after market sales to make them aware about the quality of their service. read more

I'll try to be as brief as possible in effort to help you NOT make the mistake i made. i brought in my A4 and told the technician - Christian - exactly what the problem was. he ran a diagnostic and said he "thinks" his recommendation would remedy the issue. it would take 3 days and cost $1,700 dollars. trusting they're "Audi" and therefore know their cars, i authorized the repair. 3 days later i picked up my car. 2 minutes after leaving the dealership my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on. i went directly back to audi. the service manager on duty - Daniel - ran a diagnostic and said he'd need to keep it over night. he also said, his technician should have run another diagnostic before releasing the car to me. he said he would "have a word" with the technician in the morning. the next day the same technician - Christian - called and said he "thinks" they identified the issue. the part cost $850 dollars but he would waive the labor fee for my inconvenience. you can imagine my frustration based on the fact the last time he "thought" their work would fix the problem, it cost me 17 hundred bucks. $1,700 bucks i apparently DID NOT have to spend since the repair didn't solve the problem. the next day a service manager - Jaime - gave me a 15% discount on the part and said he was "embarrassed" how his team had handled my repair. he gave me his card and asked that i please consider Rusnak in the future and to call him directly. i was very disappointed and extremely unimpressed that Rusnak Audi didn't know their vehicles better. read more

Pasadena Audi over promise, under deliver. The Service department of Audi is very bad compared to BMW's New Century at Alhambra. The receptionist of the Service department is rude when you request a loaner. I left messages to the advisor, but no return calls. I have to find another advisor to help. I felt strange as I didn't receive the text appointment confirmation. Indeed, I called many times for appointment confirmation with a loaner. The general line reception and service department lady kept kicking me around many many times. I called Henry Perez's direct line and he said a loaner car will be reserved for us on our appointment date. I got a voice message confirmation from Henry. It turned out we showed up and had no loaner car. First, Henry said he did not promise us because there was no computer record. And then he had the lady who is in charge of the loaner arrangement tell me the same thing. Until I replayed the voice message that Henry left to me. He was embarrassed. Henry used to be a nice person in the past. He was helpful. I guess, the company policy changed and restricted the use of loaner cars. Anyway, we didn't get what we planned for. Henry gave us the Uber ride. And he mentioned to us this time would be the last time to come for the service appointment. Sadly, we also purchased the extended 10 years repair program with them. I asked Henry how to cancel the repair program in the future, he suggests we cancel early if not, things would be very complicated. I feel like the dealership has so many excuses for not giving you the loaner car. When we purchased this car, I asked the sales very seriously about the loaner car. She said, Audi has a loaner car but needs to ask Henry for help every time. At that time, we were thinking to buy Audi A4 or BMW X3. We have a pleasant time with BMW New Century. We gave it a try anyway as we replaced our old Audi with this new Audi. But it was very difficult to get a car loaner with Pasadena Audi compared to BMW's New Century. The advisor at New Century told me that the company likes having customers driving its BMW cars around. It is their marketing strategy. Have the existing customers try the new model of cars, the company will have a higher chance to sell its new cars. For the past five years, I never got rejected to get a loaner car. The service team at NewCentury was always polite and helpful. The funny thing is when the AUDI advisor went through the job orders and had us sign on the document. He put a loaner car were offered to us today. I spotted that out instantly. He said that it doesn't cost us any money. Also, there is an item showing recalled parts. Verbally, he said to us he needs to check if there are any parts available for us. If not, they will do it next time. I doubt they will call us to replace it anyway because the invoice didn't state that. The invoice shows they have done the recall part. I don't understand what happened. I booked this appointment in advance. And they know we come for annual service and replace the recall part. How possible that the recall part is not available on the day we show up for a service appointment? The customer invoice shows they offered a loaner car and replaced the recalled part. Those are fake records. I told him, the fake statements show on my invoice just making you look good. Finally, the job order was adjusted. As a customer, I am very disappointed with this dealership. After I posted my original review about my experience with getting the run around from dealerships about the car issues, I finally was able to speak with Joseph Louie with Audi Pasadena. He assured me he would help resolve the problems with the car. We took the car to one of the local VW dealership only to find out we would have to pay additional cost to correct the battery problem. Since the car was recently purchased Louie stated he would have Audi expense the repairs. Well guess what? Today, I opened the mail and there was as a check for the full cost of repairs. Our service advisor took told us it would be ready the following day which they had informed us prior to when we made our appt. While we were speaking to our service advisor someone was checking out our tires, his name is Terry and he was super helpful and educated me quite a bit. He showed me the difference between all my tires (I thought he was trying to sell me something) but he really wasn't! He explained the difference between balancing and alignment. There was not a single thing this woman could repeat back to me correctly. It wasn't even a matter of her not understanding the words coming out of my mouth. She sounded very preoccupied and would constantly be missing the last two letters of the four I would be saying. That part was slightly frustrating, but little did I know that was just the tip of the iceberg. Since I saw there were two addresses that came up for Audi Pasadena, I asked her to confirm which was the correct one I would need to go to. Since I did not receive a confirmation email as she said I would, I drove with confidence to the location she gave me only to find out that she gave me the wrong address. I realized I was not going to make it to my appointment on time so I called to let them know why I was running late. I was told my appointment would have to be rescheduled with a team member who would be reaching out to me. At this point I was upset, so I let the woman I was speaking with know why this happened and said I would like to speak to a manager about my poor customer service experience. She said someone would call me back, and surprise. NO ONE CALLED BACK. No missed calls and no voicemail. My car was totaled a couple days ago and I was in need of a new car. This would be my first official car and I was nervous about what car I wanted. Audi had always caught my eye so I thought I'd pop into the shop to take a look. The moment I looked around Christian Yarber immediately walked over to provide his service. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for so I didn't really know what the right questions to ask. I didn't want to seem uninformed. Christian made it very easy for me by narrowing it down to exactly what I wanted. I gave him the price range and the type of car I wanted and he was able to show me the different options. He provided me with alternatives and the deals he felt would be most beneficial. He was knowledgeable about the mechanics with the different models in Audi and was able to explain it to someone, like me, who is not knowledgeable about car mechanics. Once I decided on the car I wanted, he was able to sit down with me and go over the pricing and deals. Luckily my parent's were there as they were the powerhouse of the negotiations. We provided our asking price and Christian went out of his way, three times to be exact, to work it out the contract and make peace with everyone. It was definitely a tough battle, but I was able to walk home with a car right then and there. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and overall spectacular with the sales. He made sure we were accommodated and made sure other customers were being attended as well! I'm very happy with purchase and will definitely come back in the future. I rarely leave reviews but 6 months later, I still regret coming here. I feel robbed and frankly I might have been taken advantage of, being a younger customer. I originally came in for check engine light, AC not working and a loud clanking sound. I understand old cars will have problems but I don't need that pointed out by the manager I was there when I bought it. My most frustrating problem was how not even a week later after spending a little over $5k just to fix the clanking sound and check engine light, the light turns on AGAIN. After reading some reviews, there seems to be a patternnnnNot to mention the first time I brought it in, I was sold under the promise the AC was working. So the second time we had to bring it in, we got quoted an insane amount for the AC AND quoted for another thing to fix for the light to go away. Right when we're about to leave, they discover it was a little leg from one of the parts that caused the light to come on. What a coincidental miracle. Anyway, included in the charges was an oil change that they supposedly did. That was back in the final week of September 2023. I work from home and from that day to now, I only drove it for 1.4k miles! We got a second opinion at another shop this week and discovered the oil is all burnt up. Audi, explain?! The only reason why I chose to come here was because I wanted to decrease the possibility of being taken advantage of anywhere else. Sure, you can say my review will "help improve your process" but I'm still left here feeling robbed. This review doesn't even include the condescending tone I experienced with the manager that left me in tears of frustration after trying to fight for what they sold me on regarding the AC. Mehran - Funny that you say we haven't been in contact because by my phone records I spent 14 minutes with you and your technicians on Feb. 13 where you continued to berate me and tell me that I was misinformed by the damage done to my car. You also said via voicemail that my car was all fixed and beautiful. Like I said, nothing from you is the truth! Then the next day, Feb. 14; I receive a call from Ramzi explaining that my car was still missing the ETron emblem and needed to be sent back to DC Autocraft. Like I said, your company website say that you pamper every car that comes into your shop as well as make the repairs promptly. Proof this isn't true by both you and your technicians. As I stated on the phone with you and your technicians on Feb. 13; you have the chance to be the hero but you continue to add salt to the wound with no solution!
