According to mall ecology, if Auntie Anne's and Wetzel's exist in the same space that means the mall is currently in a healthy state. Auntie Anne's may not be my go to, but this location is pretty solid. It's nice to see the workers use their magic to whip up the dough and form the pretzels and the times that I've ordered from here, the wait is never too long. Workers are friendly and quite efficient. With the location conveniently near the exit I use to get to my garage pit parking, it works out nicely for me if I want to grab a pizza pretzel to go (my usual go to). We'll have to play rock paper scissors to determine who will get the 4th pretzel LOL... usually my daughters both share half and half. As for taste, no one has beaten Auntie Anne's Sweet Almond. They have the right sweetness and good amount of almond crunchiness... it's just the perfect moist pretzel bread! However, I was slightly disappointed as to how thin the pretzels were this time around. Hence, 1 star less. Santa Anita mall has extremely limited to non existent food options. The new restaurants all have the exact same thing as every restaurant in Arcadia. Very boring. A pretzel can be a good quick snack. Sadly, I noticed after I got my snack that they handle food with no gloves. There was one person using tongs but the person who handed me my food also did it with bare hands. Also the other side of my food was burnt. I got my order and went and tossed it in the trash. I've been to the Auntie Anne's in the Westfield Santa Anita Mall a couple of times. It's a great location in the mall especially if you're looking for a snack. The smells coming from the store is always very temping. The team members that work here are always friendly and courteous. They're impressively efficient too. It's a very well oiled machine. It's fun seeing the pretzels being made. I typically get the plain pretzels or the cinnamon sugar ones. If i'm looking for something more filling I'll get the pretzel dogs or the mini pretzel dogs. I like the combination of the textures and flavors. Usually the lines can get kind of long but you're able to get helped quickly. If they're out of a certain item, they'll usually tell you but then you'll have to be able to decide on a different item right away. Auntie Anne's never disappoints. read more

My friend and I have come to get pretzels at the upstairs Auntie Anne's location on multiple occasions. Our go-to is the cinnamon sugar pretzel and Noemi has been really helpful more than once. She is friendly, fast, and made great suggestions (cream cheese is the way to go for a dip with the cinnamon sugar pretzels). The other staff are also fast but we thought Noemi's service stood out because of how welcomed we felt. Sour cream & onion Garlic Parmesan Cinnamon Almond Original I got 3, consisting of 2 almonds and 1 cinnamon. They were made fresh for us and took less than 10 minutes. Almond was slightly sweet w a subtle almond crunch. The cinnamon was much sweeter but still good. What really stood out was the 2 girls working there. Both were super nice and friendly. It's as is they treated this as their own business, not just a job. Credit to the boss who hired these 2 excellent young ladies. Their newer stuff like these kitschy drinks like the Candy Lemonade Mixers with gummy worms and Swedish fish are so laughably lame because they're just trying to jump on the Instagram foodie wagon. There are actually TWO Auntie Anne's pretzel stands in the mall, one on the second floor next to Old Navy and the other on the first floor next to Michael Kors. They know that people like me are lazy and can't get enough of their pretzels so they have it conveniently located in two parts of the mall. YAY, lucky me! I would have given them 5 stars if not for their inflated prices. Many years ago, these pretzels used to go for around $2 I think. Now, they cost around $3.50 a pretzel. But sign up for their Pretzel Perks thing and you'll get monthly coupons of BOGO or Buy 2 Get 1 Free or Buy 1 and Lemonade and Get 1 Free. Don't buy these things without the coupon! You should also ask them for the stamp card. For every 6 pretzels you buy, you get 1 free! Better than a lot of other places where you have to buy 10 before you can get 1 free. My all time favorites are the: -cinnamon -sour cream and onion -almond All the other flavors are also good! I've tried buying their kit at CVS once and making it myself.
