My father bought a light bulb from this location and they dropped the ball on this, let me start by saying I've been selling auto parts for about 7 years and have worked for AZ, O'reilly, and the boys. I've done everything from being a red shirt to a store manager (at a store that was doing 170-200K per month) so I know a thing or two about parts and service. Any who my father buys a light bulb for his Honda Civic and they sell him an XV vs a basic bulb (more money) and they add the light bulb grease without telling him (a shady practice, that grease doesn't really help with anything but add to their wittdjr aka what it takes to do the job right aka unnecessary crap they push down your throat to make more money) So my father not knowing any better waits in their long lines and pays, he asks if they can install the light bulb and they come outside and take a 30 second look and tell him he needs to go to a shop because they need to remove the headlight and the bumper to change the bulb. Fast forward 3 days and I go to visit my parents and my dad mentions the bulb, I was livid because I just worked a 10 hour shift and this was the last thing I wanted. So we head over and exchange the bulb, while in line some gentleman in front of us was denied a cash refund because they didn't have enough in the till (employee should've gotten his PSM to open the safe to get some cash out) so they give me a hard time for exchanging the bulb and refusing the grease. Took me 2 minutes to install the light bulb in their parking lot right in front of their doors. Absolutely worthless employees here, things like this are the reason online websites are making a killing, remember kids if you don't have great customer services you lose sales and if sales go down you get your hours cut. Geovanni or however you spell his name needs to train his employees better, the DM (I think it's still juan) needs to hold his stores to a better standard, remember there are two O'reillys, a pep boys, a Napa and an allied all in a 5 mile radius from here. About a week ago a police officer gave me a warning for driving with a broken taillight. I went in to Autozone today, low key dreading it, not really knowing how to buy or install a taillight for my Acura. I had been walking all day in downtown and I was exhausted too. Joseph A. absolutely made my way by making sure I was buying the correct taillight bulb AND he installed it for me, free or charge, on a very hot day. I bought a new Gold car battery with a 3-year warranty on 8/3/20 along with some special plugs they recommended to prevent corrosion but I never received a receipt. When I asked for one the cashier said he gave it to me which wasn't true. The technician installed the car battery for me. Then on 8/12 my car battery was drained for no reason. I jump started it and within 10 minutes the electric turned off in my car completely. I couldn't roll down the power windows, I couldn't switch my car out of park and I broke down in the middle of a busy street with a line of cars behind me--unable to out on my emergency lights. I called the police and AAA. AAA sent a tow truck within 10 minutes and fortunately they arrived before the police. Upon examining, the tow truck driver discovered the metal band for the red cap was never tightened which lead to corrosion. He had to scrape and clean that, tighten it then said I'd need a new one. I could've died because of their negligence installing the battery. read more

The guys are nice. Just EXTREMELY lazy. They allow customers to just wait & wait. Make sure you have time to spend at this DMV style run Autozone. It's pretty clear they don't care about taking care of customers in the store more than people calling in for a price quote. read more

The inevitable happened... My windshield wipers needed replacing. This was a mans job so I enlisted the help of my Daddy for this job. After a not so nice experience at Pep Boys we were ready to get the show on the road. A friendly cashier saw us right away and told me the size of the windshield wipers for my car. I picked out the windshield wipers and was out the door in less than ten minutes ! Prices were not bad, the store was organized, there was plenty staff to help, and the energy of the store felt good. They even offered to put on my windshield wipers for me. Next time I need anything for my car, I know where to go. read more

Amazing customer service! I had to replace my headlight for the first time ever and was not really sure how to do it for my car. I looked in my manual but they had a different code for it. Joseph A. helped me look up in the system which lights are recommended, walked me to the aisle to show me which lightbulbs were recommended, rang me up, AND THEN showed me how to replace them. He was beyond kind and patient, and it seems as though all the other associates at this location have great reviews as well. 03.23.2020 Best AutoZone with stellar customer service! And KUDOS to JOSE LUIS G (manager) and his staff! My main forms of transportation are a Ford Fiesta Hatchback and a wheelchair. I went to AutoZone to replace my windshield wipers. I'd never done this before, but as I'd successfully replaced my low beams in the parking lot of same AutoZone, I wanted to repeat my "no mechanic" experience. Here's what was so great about that experience: 1. The folks at AutoZone were super helpful recommending which blades offered the best bang for the buck! 2. While trying to figure out how to put the new blades on my car in the parking lot, JOSE LUIS G, the manager, spied my confusion and offered to install them for me free of charge! Which he did. 3. While replacing the rear window wiper blade, the armature (which was already seriously cracked) broke off. SO Jose called the Ford Dealership in Glendale, had them pull a new armature and told them to charge me wholesale under AutoZone # (a $15 bucks difference)! Then, after I'd returned with the new armature, Jose installed it with the new wiper blade. Again, no charge! Jose and his staff were very helpful and very pleasant, which says a lot about Jose as a manager! This is an absolutely go-to store! THANK YOU!!! read more

I had a pretty difficult project. A 1976 RV Dodge van conversion. I was unable to get it started with a dead battery and bad fuel pump. I first took the battery to AutoZone to have it tested and they did it for free for me. Although I ended up having to buy a new battery I appreciated it. After finding out that it needed a new fuel pump I wasn't able to figure out which to purchase, a person at AutoZone suggested giving the VIN number which we used to find and order the correct fuel pump. It works successfully and I think that they are good staff. read more

Had to return a bad remanufactured alternator for lifetime replacement. Angel was a great help in getting a weird issued cleared up because if I didn't have my receipt, I would have most likely been out of luck. Long story short, I ended up getting a gift card for well more than I paid since I managed to get an alternator elsewhere and I had no need for a replacement from Autozone. Came in for some battery corrosion cleaner because my car needed a jump to start earlier in the day. Gentleman with long hair and braces helped me. He suggested I look up my battery's warranty. We did, my battery was partially covered for replacement. We ended up replacing my battery, and busting the corrosion off my terminals. By "we", I mean he did entirely himself. He did a great job ensuing my battery had a clean connection to prevent power loss in the future. Great experience, really impressed with the staff here. read more

I had car trouble, my vehicle broke down it was the middle of the night. I did not know what was wrong with it. I ended up leaving the car on the street. The next day I found out my vehicle was broken into and all of my belongings were taken. I had the vehicle towed to a shop. It took the shop two days to find out what was wrong with it. The starter had went out. I Had put a new starter in the car a few months earlier from Auto Zone. Since I was kinda far away from home. I had the auto shop just fix my car so that I could have transportation. The shop gave me back the starter that I bought from auto zone. I took the core to store 5465 in Pasadena, At this point in the week I was overwhelmed. It was so welcomed to receive the service I got from employee Juan Luis, He really made my day and my week. Thank u Sir. On top of that on my into the store I must have dropped my phone on the ground, when I returned to the car I could not find it.
