This place is perfect for getting work or studying done! Tons of outlets to plug your laptop and phone into. It's also pretty quiet too. Lots of setting and the drinks are good not amazing but it definitely gets the job done. There's a parking lot with limited parking but you get an 1hr in some of the parking spots. Also street parking in the neighborhood and on wilshire. What's most important for me is lots of outlets, environment where I can focus and aesthetic. Awesome Coffee has all of that. Also just a heads up it's on the 2nd floor of this mini mall complex and not sure if there's an elevator. My wife and I took the stairs. Try it out! Also this spot is open late til 2am! One of the few coffee shops I know that are open that late!
After eating dinner in ktown, we were looking to see what would be a good way to end the night for my belated birthday celebration. Eventually I decided on checking this place out as the aesthetics and vibes were what I was feeling that night. The coffee shop is located in a small corner plaza in koreatown. You'll either be lucky with parking or have to find street parking nearby. There's also a valet at the plaza but I think that's mainly for the restaurant there. Upon entering, it is very much like a college student study cafe area. It's moderately decorated to look like a reading area in one corner, the rest looking modern for the folks who want to get work done. Despite the small area, I think the spacing allotted per table was just right as it didn't feel too cramped. I ordered a simple latte to end the night on a good note. Not too expensive overall for the cup, and my friend got the matcha affogato which tasted pretty good to them too.
I used to love coming to this spot to study years back. The ambiance and music really put me in a locking in mood. I recently dropped by and ordered a matcha latte. Please order what they're known for, which is their coffee. I can vouch for how their coffee tastes but I could not enjoy this matcha drink. The worker that day didn't hear my order when I said it 3 times because they had their earphone on? However, the owner for this place is always so on top of it and works so hard! Drop by if you ever need a place to study. I will say the parking is a little hard but the metro is pretty close by
Probably the first late night coffee shop I've found. Being a night owl, always love to find somewhere that caters to those who stay up a bit later than the average person - they don't close until 2am. You'll find some great drinks here. Their matcha latte stays true to the matcha flavor while also being super refreshing with the lemonade. A delicious, light choice. Their strawberry matcha latte was also tasty - richer and more decadent - good for someone with a sweeter tooth. Didn't grab food, but they had a great selection of food if you're hungry or plan to stay a bit longer. We came after midnight, and it was still packed. We got the last available table. So definitely a more popular place for meeting up and getting work done. Drinks are a bit pricier. Overall, a good choice for coffee and getting down last minute work done.
Had a meeting and wanted a coffee shop that was open late. Koreatown seemed like a neutral place to meet and that's where the search engine took me. Awesome Coffee is AWESOME and located upstairs in a shopping complex. As you walk in you are welcomed into a cozy living room style set up with quaint seating, shelves of books and games. People were busy on their laptops or in conversation with one another. The barista was very nice and the menu had breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. We ordered the strawberry matcha latte and the peanut butter latter with almond milk. I will definitely go back again.
I've come here twice now to study and have had great experiences each time! I can't speak to their pastries or drinks other than their matcha, but the study atmosphere is fantastic. I'm unsure exactly how parking works in the plaza (the cafe is upstairs) but I park across the street in the parking spot for Tom N Toms Black coffee, since it is a little more protected. There are plenty of spaces to sit, when I came here on a Saturday midday it was a little more busy but on a Saturday morning, you can definitely get a corner to yourself. There are some nicer sofa chairs, as well as spaces along their window. The wifi is free and easy to use, and there are many outlets for you to use. There is plenty of natural lighting as well from the large windows. My only regret is that I forgot my laptop charger one of the times I was here. The matcha latte is not the most concentrated but still a great taste and not too watered down, I always get it iced but my friend's hot version came with cute latte art in a mug. The service was great and my drink did not take long to come out. The pricing is pretty standard for cafe drinks these days, and isn't absurd. I would definitely come again if I need to get some work done.
With my continued search of finding good study spots, I stopped by Awesome Coffee. This is located on the second floor. There is an available parking lot shared with other businesses. I went around 10 am on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at the time. For the interior, it felt more spacious compared to how it looked outside. There were many seats for small groups to single seating by the window. There were outlets available primarily near the window. There's also free WiFi with the code available at the front register. It was good and reliable connection. The noise level was mainly low, but could be moderate when the staff was using their machine. For my order, I was craving something sweeter that day. I decided to get a Horchata latte with oat milk. It was definitely a sweet drink. You'll like this drink if you have a sweet tooth. The drink was ready within 5 minutes. If you need a restroom, there is a shared one located in the back. Note: American express is accepted.
Great little spot for a late night snack and catching up on homework. They're open till 2am so if you're a night owl and want to be out for a bit, definitely a great spot. Decent food and tasty drinks. Located in a small plaza with a parking lot
What a pleasant spot to stop in take a breather and refresh one's self! The lighting is great and the service is tops! I ordered a matcha for me and my barber and it is delicious I recommend an iced matcha with oat milk which is expensive and the taste is amazing! No need to add anything else thank you team!
I visited on a saturday afternoon and stayed for a few hours to get some work done. Very cool vibes. Great atmosphere to just kick it with a friend or slap on your headphones and get some work or studying done. I do recommend headphones, not that it gets loud, just because it fills up fast and headphones are good for blocking out other people's conversations. Lots of outlets which is super convenient but the wifi is a bit unreliable so have your Hotspot ready (reason for my 1 star deduction). Service was great and food was great. I had avocado toast which was really good, nice and fresh, great flavor with the balsamic drizzle. Also had an iced dirty chai, which was great, and an iced passion berry tea,, which was pretty good as well. No menu complaints. I'll definitely be back to try some more menu items, a lot of it looked REALLY good. Pretty good experience overall.
Great place to study or an atmosphere to catch up with friends. Drinks and food purchases just feel like an entry fee to stay which is fine. Nothing was bad! But I felt like I had a tough time deciding what to get. Settled for hot teas which were not bad but not that great either
I liked this place. My sibling and I went here for a late night study panic session and the service was nice. Really cool that it's open till the wee hours of the night!!! Also there's a good amount of free parking. We ended up going into a second lot that was a little further from the main one. (Walking there late at night was a little spooky but also tis the night) The ambiance also great, very hip seeming. I don't know how to describe things. My sibling got a mint mocha coffee type thing (forgot to ask) but she said it was really good! I got a chicken sandwich which was also good but I don't know if it was worth the price since it's something I could've made at home. It's on me though cause it's called awesome coffee not awesome sandwiches. Also I wanted dessert (second dinner) alas alas my poor wallet we still would probably return so 5 stars
Honestly it was one of the most interesting experiences so far as a person who goes around looking for new coffee shops. The place itself looks great has a lot of space to sit and specially it does have aesthetic vibes. Both the latte and the sandwich were great. However, it wasn't what I order, I try telling the employee that I didn't got a hot latte instead I order a cold latte. She didn't offer to switch it until after I decided to leave. But at least I got a nice picture. Once again there's no problem with the drinks or food just as a first time customer I didn't have a great experience. But, for sure I will give a second chance to this place.

This day it happened to be pretty empty but I've passed by before and it's super busy. The girls in the front weren't the most inviting but got the horchata latte and it tastes like an authentic one you'd purchase at a Mexican restaurant. Highly recommend. A lot of seating, can get some work done. It's a bit pricey but would come back if I was in the area. FYI, Parking is terrible!! read more

I loved the drinks, the place is very nice, but it was my first time so me and my friend were looking at the menu and the baristas were there, we were asking questions about what was good but honestly the customer service was poor, the girls got I guess annoyed by the fact that we were asking about what was good and what was popular, it was like 2 simple questions but I guess they were more into their phones than trying to help us, but anyways, maybe it was just them but the drinks were pretty good. read more
I'm a big coffee shop enthusiast, especially if the place has a bookshelf inside. Cute ambiance, a bit crowded though. Many people come to study, work, or socialize. Personally I think they're wayyyyy overpriced and it won't be my go-to coffee shop. The printer is also broken but there wasn't a sign so I had paid a non-refundable $7. This was a odd experience. I came in to awesome coffee for the first time ever and it was packed to the brim but it was completely silent. No music playing. Not a sound. It was very uncomfortable. The drink was actually really delicious and mid way through my drink the speaker starts playing music. At first it was jarring but it filled that empty space very well. I really fell in love with their lattes with almond milk. This is a great place to study. The vibe is really welcoming and the baristas are always very kind. There is parking on site but valet sometimes is out there and you have to pay. Either way, I never have issue finding street parking. They've gained a regular. read more

Their strawberry matcha latte is to die for! Service is okay for the most part, I'm not sure if the girls are not that friendly or just don't speak must English. Drinks come out fast and really tasty though!! Their food is okay, pretty basic menu. I've had their waffle and it comes with a little fruit on it and maple syrup, it was pretty good but nothing special just a pretty basic waffle. The ambiance here is nice, would be a great quiet place to study in the evening or night, they also have a printer so that could be helpful for studying or late night business meetings here. read more
Tried a couple of their drinks when I went to study here and I would highly recommend the affogato. Love this study spot. There's many outlets and it's nice and quiet. Service is pretty fast too after ordering. I haven't tried the food yet but it looks good as a study snack. Will definitely continue coming back. read more

Went here late at night, around 10ish. They are open till 2am. For two drinks, it costs 13$ with tip 15$. It was weird, I was paying and when it got to the tip part, there is no option to skip it. Maybe I'm wrong but you're forced to tip to finish payment?? Anyway, the coffee was ok. The space is cute with chandeliers and lots of decor and lots of comfortable seating...benches, chairs and tables and lounge chairs. Nice place to hangout , study or work. The music was not blaring which was nice so our stay was pleasant with comfortable conversation. One thing we noticed is that the space would pop out more (especially that it was so visible from the street since it's on the 2nd floor) is if they cleaned their windows and lights. Just saying. This place was fully open and operational on Jan. 1st no less! And they even close late! With everything else in New Year's Day closing sooner than expected, this was a nice, refreshing place to come, do some light reading, work on one's laptop and eat. The attention from the girl that works till 6:30pm was top-notch. The girl that replaced her was less than enthusiastic, but can't say I blame her; she does, after all, work the closing shift till 2am, so definitely cutting her some slack in that department. The seating was generous, the ambiance was welcoming and cozy and both the drink and the snack I tried were delicious. Definitely a highly-recommended place in the west side of Koreatown. read more

Been here many years ago and the interior looks different as it was all wood furniture. It's improved and on a vintage feel. Just that drinks were served warm not hot yet nice to have a cafe that's open till late. read more
Quiet and small coffee shop in a small plaza in ktown. Free parking. Food was decent, nothing that special but got the job done and the pastries were decently priced. Drinks were pretty average, again nothing special. Clean bathroom located inside the shop, plenty of outlets, tables, and chairs. Was a bit crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Also had free wifi! Hot matcha latte w/ oat milk: decent matcha flavor, good size, pretty average matcha, a bit expensive tbh Cold brew lemonade: interesting combo, would not get again but maybe if you really like bitter caffeine it would be good! read more
Great place to work late! Waffle affogato was okay but I thought it would be different I think I was expecting something more special. The waffle itself was good and bet they're other waffle things are better so would try those next time! There's a good amount of seating and it gets full the later and night you go. But a good ambiance for working out of the house and the service friendly but not fast! read more

came here with the intentions of late night studying and while the vibes did deliver, the desserts and drinks did not. self parking is mainly through valet for $4 but if you go in the morning, i don't think they're there. unfortunately, the cafe itself taxing so i just ordered a vanilla ice cream that was already a whopping $8.50. while it is good, it's not like wow i need to come back and get it. my friend got a vanilla latte but the color is a lot lighter than it should be. i will note that the waffle items looked scrumptious but those were out of tax bracket. service was quick and worker was very kind. as a college student, i would def just order one main food as a group and then split because of finance. read more
Really gorgeous cafe with lots of seating. Everyone here is there to study/do work, so it's a very nice, quiet space to be productive. Closes at 2am, so it's great for a late-night grind. My only concern is the wifi didn't work for me or the two others I was with. It was not crowded at the time, so I'm not sure what went wrong. read more

My wife and I stopped here late one night after seeing Muse at the Wiltern. I was honestly looking only for ice cream. My wife had a shake, and I had the vanilla ice cream and a muffin. The ice cream was some of the best I've ever had! I would put it right up there with custard from Wisconsin which, as you may know is pretty impressive. The staff there is very helpful and it was a nice place to just enjoy a drink and a snack. I bet their coffee was amazing but as we were there at 11:15 PM we did not try any. read more

This coffee shop is a hidden gem in this old plaza in K-town. The only problem is that there is no elevator if you would like to go up and you would need to use the stairs. It reminds me of a scenery in a K-drama show. :) It is very relaxing and comfy. You can see vintage or vintage-looking items. There are pastries and desserts available. I had an Iced Cortado and loved it. Great customer service too. Hope to come back here again! read more
It is one of the few cafes in Ktown that is opened pretty late. It closes at 2am. The cafe has a wide selection of drinks and food. We ordered the ice cream waffle and it was a decent size to share among 3 people and tasted good as well. It is definitely a casual cafe where you can go do work on your laptop or just hang out with friends. The staff were also extremely friendly. The cafe has wifi, outlet and restroom. read more

More like a 3.5/5. Cool ambiance inside and quite spacious for studying or hanging out. Lounge area and lots of outlets - they really take care of you if you need a device charged. Obviously reflected in the price however, and drinks aren't the best here. Best things about this place is the amount of seating and its late hours. Awesome Coffee's demographics are students/people that need to get work done. Sandwiches aren't great, and I feel like the bread would be better toasted. Nothing special - looks like it comes out of a bag instead of bakery bread. I had the vietnamese coffee, and for $6+ it was just disappointing. I should really stop getting stuff like cafe sua da at places that don't otherwise serve vietnamese food, because it barely tasted like vietnamese coffee. It was strong like it should've been, but did not taste great. Can't comment on the food, but due to how well-suited they are for a couple hours of getting something done, I will be back to try more of their menu. If sandwiches and ice cream aren't your speed, it's conveniently located in a plaza with lots of other food options. read more

Parking is good a lot is available. Great place to study, refocus, read or just enjoy a dessert and chill. The staff is quick and efficient about cleaning. You have to get a key for the bathroom. I ordered a hot tea and sat in a large comfy chair to read. The music was soft rnb covers, not distracting at all. Next time I want to try a dessert! read more

Just got rid of this place from my bookmark. Worst Study Cafe I've ever been to. With no WIFi access. The cafe workers don't even care. I don't think this is just one occasion that they don't have no wifi. Waited for 30 min to be connected since I was told that they will reset the modem or something. Well they don't really care about the WiFi I guess. You can think of this place like cafeteria level of interior and drink. The pictures on yelp looks great, however, furniture are so dirty and worn out with tons of hair oil residue. Tables are so sticky and many of them are temporary tables you can find at local Costco shops. I wouldn't recommend this place to you yelpers. read more

I came here last night with my friend to do some work and the ambiance was nice and cozy. It's a great coffee shop to study and to get work done. It tends to get busier at night. Came here to work and grab some coffee. The shop is pretty big and filled with lots of tables and work stations. Definitely spacious for working out of. I wanted a coffee but they were out of it so got an americano instead and avo toast. I took off one star for the avo toast. It had sooooo much mayo underneath a thin layer of avocado. For 10 dollars, I'd expect a little more avo and less mayo. Who puts mayo on avo toast anyways? read more
