B-Man's always has a place in my heart, for a number of reasons and through the test of time, it has remained EXCELLENT! First and foremost, when you come in, the restaurant is cool has air blowing and is playing the most conducive towards ambiance soft rock bangers. Whenever I order, I am tempted to order everything that I like from there, which are too many things! So I got what pulled my love for this place the first time I came. The Teriyaki chicken sandwich is wonderfully delicious. The bread is soft on the inside and firm on the outside, so it doesn't disintegrate as you eat it, but the way it is wrapped does enough so even if it does it is very well held together, talented people working there! It is not overwhelming in the amount of each item put in the sand which so it eats very well. The teriyaki sauce, the flame grilled chicken and the mayo come together and make this amazing tasting sauce. The Curry Fries are a favorite with me and my family, we always share a large one. It is a texture extravaganza. The curry itself is starchy, smooth and hot with big chunks of chicken dark meat, Potato and carrot. The fries are crinkle cut. The two come together and, as opposed to chili fries that make you feel gross after eating (at least for me), these curry fries makes you feel like you just ate something your mom made for you. B-Man Teriyaki is a hidden gem that left me longing for more! I recently discovered this wonderful spot in Duarte and was blown away by their mouthwatering teriyaki dishes. The flavors were exquisite, and the portion sizes were generous, making it a fantastic value for money. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff provided exceptional service. From the moment I stepped in, I felt like a valued guest. The menu was diverse, offering a range of teriyaki options for everyone, whether you're a meat lover or prefer a vegetarian delight. The only downside was that the location in Duarte closed, and I can't help but miss the convenience of having B-Man Teriyaki in my community. I truly hope they consider bringing it back because it undoubtedly enriched the local dining scene. I have driven by the place many a time but never went in until recently. After my first trip here, I wondered why the I took so long to try this place. After a couple of question I found myself debating whether I wanted the chili or curry. I decided to have a little of both and luckily I came with my sister so I didn't feel like a glutton. Chili fries being chased with brown rice and curry. The food was very tasty and the price was also good. It was a good amount and I appreciate not being charged extra for getting brown rice instead of white as most places do charge extra. While the name of the place denotes that they have excellent Teriyaki and Burgers, I must say I am a big fan of the curry. I will give other things a try eventually but usually when I find something I really like I stick to it. read more

Man I have been looking for spike teriyaki when they were expending the business I remember byron when was busy making in la mirada location on imperial hwy and Santa Gertrudes than I went to work for few day in covina location that place was busy but manager was great big Hispanic dude I came from jack in box and the person they had on in charge was from taco bell so I went on for traing and they were flipping the burger and chicken breast or boneless thighs meat with serrated knife which never made sense but left huge impression they every thing on menu from sandwich salad and teriyaki bowl was great flavor full food I still remember the Chinese salad dressing. I love this place for a quick in and out Chicken Bowl. I swear, you place your order, you blink and there it is, never wait more than 3 minutes. The chicken is cooked fresh, you can always see them cooking it in the back, and you can see them make your food. I really like a place where you see the preparation going on, no mystery there. I like to munch on the hot peppers during my 3 minute wait. Really friendly people always. I don't know how it could be better. I had a chicken bowl at Jack n The Box recently and found a rubber gear in the chicken...ok..now how the f... did that get in there? I like the extras that are available:brown rice, tofu substitutions, etc. killer Chinese chicken salad, in 2 sizes! The Teri sauce is on the sweet side, but it complements all the meats. This is quite the down home joint for Asians/Hawaiians displaced from home! I grew up eating Bmans, which is why this was so disappointing. The quality has noticeably gone downhill. This was a group order, and we had multiple issues. Most concerning was finding a piece of metal in one of the plates--a serious food safety issue. The tsukemono was extremely salty, the white rice was hard and seemed undercooked, and the extra avocado we paid for was brown and mushy. I've always known Bmans for its quality and consistency, so this experience was surprising and frustrating. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, especially the metal found in the food. read more

1 Star because every table was a mess, dirty and had NO been bused. 1 Star because the girl at the counter pointed at me to get up and get my food instead of just walking it to the customer. 1 star because the parking is a nightmare now that TJ and CVS are tenants. I grew up in the SGV and loved going to Spikes and was saddened when it finally closed down. Someone mentioned it a while back that B-Man's was owned and run by the son so this is now my go to spot for the famous teriyaki bowl. I drive up from the OC at least once a week and a visit here for lunch or a snack is a must. Something about that teriyaki sauce brings me back to my childhood. Service can be a hit or miss so don't get your panties in a bunch if the service sucks because the food is really that good! read more

The food here is good. However, for the last couple of months they have a horrible sewage smell the second you walk in the door. This smell is so bad that it makes me think twice about going to eat here. You will have a better experience eating your food in the bathroom than eating it in there dining area. I have asked about the smell both times I went in and they just shake there heads and act like they don't smell it. The food was good but had the worst experience a worker with glasses went to whipe down a table ! And a customer pointed out that the employee ( male with acne and glasses)had a cockroach on his back! I looked over and indeed there was a huge cockroach the employee laughed and said that's my pet named bob I brought to work and with the cockroach on his back !! Walked through the kitchen !!!!! So this Valentines day instead of going to some super crowded place I went to bee mans with my girlfriend! I love this place sooo much! their teriyaki sandwhich or the number 2 is amazing!! they never fail to make me happy. The staff is friendly and it was nice to not have to dine in at some overly crowded restaurant. I expected more from this burger place but it was fine. My only problem has just the sloppy way the burger condiments are mashed on top of the patty. Just seemed thoughtless. The curry fries are really the only reason I am giving 3 stars as opposed to 2 stars here. I would have been happy just ordering these! Great tasting chicken teriyaki with brown rice here. Their sauce and all the ingredients used are top notch. Service is fast - and there lots of sizes to choose from depending on how hungry you are: mini bowl, regular bowl, double chicken (which comes in a box), and the plate (which comes with macaroni salad). I drive all the way out from Monrovia to this place. i really like their chicken curry bowl and i always get a side of their gyoza to accompany my meal. i've tried quite a bit from their menu, and i have never been disappointed. parking lot is big so never an issue with that. and for dessert i go next door to starbucks. pretty much a great plaza to meet all of your tasty needs! read more

YUM YUM!!! This place is great for fast food! Their garden cheeseburger is the best I ever had. I get it with american and swiss cheese, avocado, and teriyaki sauce. I'm drooling as we speak. B-Man's is a great place to get Hawaiian style food. They have some of the best teriyaki chicken in the whole San Gabriel Valley. Their Korean BBQ style short ribs are solid too.
