Not bad, but the greatest. It's average and earns it's 3 stars. I came here cos of the burger show and how much he loved it, plus it was close to me. The burger had no teriyaki flavor. What stood out was the avocado. Super fresh, but other than that, the burger was nothing to write home about. I also tried a mini teriyaki chicken bowl. It's ok. The first time I tried B-Man's, I got the Cheeseburger with teriyaki chicken and 6 pieces Gyoza for less than $10. That really was a good deal for the portion of the cheeseburger. I didn't get to take a picture because I was so hungry, but the cheeseburger was a bit smaller than my hand. (For reference, the length between my wrist and my index finger is a bit longer than the height of an iPhone 12.) The cheeseburger was really flavorful but very difficult to eat. There was so much sauce that just picking it up was a struggle. So definitely not something you can just eat on the go but taste amazing. Really good gem. I have tried the teriyaki beef bowl and although I am not a huge fan of teriyaki, it was pretty enjoyable. The spam musubi there are ginormous! I recently went here and ordered their garlic shrimp bowl with brown rice and it was FIRE! It was the closest I could get to the taste of Hawaii's garlic shrimp last minute. This place has signs everywhere stating to be patient because they are short staffed which I think is fine that they are informing customers that they are not fully staffed and being honest BUT if they are short staffed then I would at least expect the staff that does work there to be friendly and helpful. Ordered the combo plate which comes with beef AND chicken, mac salad and cabbage.. this is SO much food. Me and my bf ate, and he had it for two more meals, there is so much food it lasted as a meal for essentially four people. Of course, if you're a voracious eater this may have only lasted for two.. but still, definitely some bang for your buck! I'm updating my review because the owner has made a great effort to rectify this customers satisfaction and that goes a long way! Food is consistently good here. Tried to call in a phone order for pick up but the girl on the phone said they don't take phone orders that they only accept orders online. So in an effort to save time I order online before I head over. When I get there I asked the cashier if my order is ready and he tells me they are still working on it but they will call my name when it is ready. So I'm sitting and waiting and I'm seeing other people who order after me are getting their orders so I go up and ask them again if my order is ready and apparently it was sitting on the counter for the last 15 minutes. No one called my name to notify me my order was ready and I ordered online and effort to save time. Very displeased with the service I received. This place is a little bit of a drive for us considering there's Ono Hawaiian down the street but well wort the trek. Large portion, reasonable price, tasty food, great service. They aren't taking phone orders anymore, so you have to order online (which only works on the website) it hasn't worked for me through my phone or through the b mans app either (where I'm not able to even sign up) When I went to pick up my order, they gave it to me without checking. So going through the bag I saw that they were missing my chili cheese fries. So I went back and told them that. They looked around for it and realized they never made it. So they made me a chili cheese fries. But they forgot the cheese... They don't really seem like they care as much anymore. My friend was having a hard time ordering online and through the apps, so he called in, he asked if they could just take his order through the phone just once while the apps were figuring it out and they said they can't accept any phone orders. I usually go here for the teriyaki plates as a healthier dining option. Most of the time the portions can be generous when you get the plates. They can either fill you up if you're a big eater or be split into 2 meals. The teriyaki beef and chicken are decent enough. They can really drench the food with a ton of teriyaki sauce at times, so I recommend getting the teriyaki on the side if you're not into a ton of sweet teriyaki sauce. Also, it seems that they don't make fresh made chicken at the end of the day. So avoid ordering near closing time as the chicken will otherwise be really dry. I usually get the teriyaki breast or the beef plate with double potato salad. The meal isn't cheap at about $13 just for the plate alone. I wouldn't place this as a cheap eat like in the past when prices were much lower. So overall, the price would be comparable to a yoshinoya( if you get 2 plates) or more expensive if you use a bogo coupon. I did wish that they still had teriyaki steak like what Spike's Teriyaki bowl had in the past. So overall, a decent enough teriyaki place. Because I'm pescatarian it's always hard to find fast food that I can eat but this place's Garden Burger (vegetarian) is AMAZING. The price and quality just can't be beat. For about $4 the Garden Burger comes with a veggie patty, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, onions, pickles,lettuce, and sauce all inside a whole wheat bun. Super healthy and delicious, I find that their regular Garden Burger tends to be flavorful enough for me but there's the option to add cheese as well when I'm feeling for something a little more. The portion size is just right for one person to get full off of as well. Aside from their Garden Burger, I like their curry fries (I avoid the meat parts) and seasonal cold noodles in the summer. I also like how this place is conveniently located next to a Half and Half so I can grab boba right after and it's in the same plaza as Trader Joe's so my mom can do grocery shopping while I eat lunch.
