    Teriyaki chicken & beef plate

Fantastic quick & casual spot. Crossover of a charbroiler and bowl spot. The teriyaki burger is great as well as all the different fry variations. I really love the meat and rice bowl/plates. You get a ton of food for the cost and the proteins are packed with flavor and that grill taste. It makes going to one of the chain bowl spots pointless. Grab this for a lunch and some leftovers or a quick weeknight dinner.

This is what the Korean beef bowl should look like but that was 2 months ago.

I've been a loyal customer before B'Mans opened when his Dad owned Spikes Teriyaki Bowl across the street from Gabrielino High School. The teriyaki and Curry bowls were my fav. Then B'Mans opened and introduced my to Kalbi Korean Beef rib bowl. Not long ago i was disappointed with the tiny beef rib portions and I almost gave up. Tonight i decided to give it another try and wow, the ribs are larger the quality is still amazing, online ordering was very easy and I'm happy to say that, Thank you B'Mans for listening and I can't wait to go back for more. Thanks again. David

It's been a long time since I've eaten here, and was recently passing by and decided to stop in with the family. From what I remember, this place was amazing, but not today. Staff was friendly enough, We ordered so many things on the menu and the only thing that tasted good was the frozen thawed out French fries. The chicken curry tasted very weird., teriyaki chicken all breast with only coleslaw not sure if it was the chicken or the teriyaki sauce that had a foul smell. ABC Burger was OK., chicken skewers were let down, and Korean short ribs didn't have much flavor to them. Even the dumplings did not taste good at all. None of us finished our food, and we all complained about the food having a weird smell. I'm not willing to give this place Another chance, it was that bad. Better luck to those who are braver than I.

My girlfriend brought me here to grab some sandwiches to go. We had just finished breakfast so we weren't ready for lunch but since we were close she brought me to B-Man's Teriyaki to get a couple of sandwiches to take home and eat later. She recommended the chicken Teriyaki as her favorite and their specialty so that's what we ordered. I added avocado and American cheese, she added avocado as well. We ate an order of fries in the car while they were fresh and hot. Good krinkle cut fries with perfect salt. Ordered and paid at the counter, given cups for drinks. Also received a puck that would light up and vibrate when our order was ready. Nice clean, well lit dining area. Sat and enjoyed my drink while we waited for the sandwiches and fries. Everything was done in less than 10 minutes and we were heading home. We ate the sandwiches for dinner and they were very good. Nice chicken. We asked for the sauce on the side since we were going to eat later and that kept the rolls from getting soggy. We enjoyed our sandwiches, id give mine a 4.5 out of 5, it would have almost certainly been a 5 if we'd eaten them at B-Man's hot and fresh. Id definitely return and next time eat there for the freshest experience.

Consistently great food and service. Items of choice ABC burger, Teri Fries, Curry Bowl, Teriyaki Bowl. Highly recommend this location. So sad to see the Duarte location disappear. Extra points to the staff who decorated for Halloween. Shows a lot of thought and effort went into it. Great job!!!

I was getting bob at Half and Half next door and knew wanted to try out B-Man's Teriyaki. I liked the huge menu and options for everybody. Ordered at the counter a ABC burger and chili fries small. The food came out quick and service was friendly. I liked the burger and the sauce made it better. The chili fries were different than your usual chili fries. The chili had a slight sweet curry taste to it. Next time, I would ask the fries to fried a bit crispier. Can't wait to try other things on the menu.

This review is for some catering that I picked up from the restaurant. Not the chicken! I'm only rating for their service and prices. I did some shopping before I finally found B-man's. I had a work event with a budget. I ordered pans of rice and macaroni salad from their establishment. My order was ready on time and the rice and macaroni salad were a hit. I definitely will be coming back to check out their other food. But if you're looking for catering definitely check them out as their prices were the best in the El Monte/San Gabriel area! The guys worked with me and were helpful when it came to my questions. I really appreciated the service and patience!

What a great visit with the good old buddy today after visiting a sick friend in the hospital, we decided to make a pitstop. It was like going back in the time with the flavors The food is always good here and the service was great as well. No complaints. Food came out in a timely manner and the place was spotless. I only have one gripe... Gotta get better chairs . That being said, see you soon.... Thank you for the great lunch !

Geez I would give it five stars for the food alone but really I got double Mac I told him okay for cabbage salad and Mac never said I wanted more Mac just extra sauce. I was sadden I didn't get the cabbage salad. I looked forward to that being my "greens". Who wants more carbs in their life!

The first time I came to B-Man's, this place gave me a sense of confusion. The menu in particular seemed like a random concoction of unrelated food...teriyaki chicken, Chinese chicken salad, burgers and chili?!? Oooookaaaaay? Man, was I wrong! This place is so good I've literally stopped here every of the 20 times I took a road trip in the past year. What's great about B-Man's IS the menu diversity and the fact that you just can't go wrong with anything on the menu. To date, I've tried everything on the menu and it's all awesome. My particular favorites are the chicken chili and katsu curry with the chili being particularly life changing. The only issue here is the parking. Because the parking lot is shared with Trader Joe's, there is pretty much never any parking. I have historically gotten "lucky" 18/20 times by just entering from the driveway next to B-Man's and hooking a sharp turn towards the spaces directly across from the store front. *Bonus tip* Turns out, the geographical location is perfect to cut around some traffic going through Pasadena when driving from IE to the grapevine.

There was also no crunch to it. I remember the Torrance location tempura had a very nice crunch, batter was light and airy, and it stuck to the food. The sauce is the same, as they put it in the rice instead of you dipping it into a sauce. I also got cold soba on the side since they can't substitute the rice for soba. Soba wasn't anything special. The noodles at the Torrance location is better I promise! The miso soup was okay, didn't really enjoy it that much. It's not your typical miso soup. It has mushrooms in it. The mushroom flavor was too strong for me. Service was meh since we sat down first, but they took the order from our neighbors before us. Their food came out first too. Most likely won't come back to this location again. Not sure if they just had an off day when I went, but I had a disappointing experience.

My friend and I came to KazuNori for Saturday lunch right when they opened at 11:30. Only one other group was there at opening, but it gradually got busier over the course of lunch. I don't recommend coming here with more than 2 others, as conversation can be difficult due to the seating arrangement. I went with the 6 hand roll set for $29, which offers toro, yellowtail, salmon, bay scallop, crab, and lobster. Everything was good, and my favorites were the scallop, crab, and lobster. You can ask for less rice in each roll if you aren't super hungry or have a smaller stomach. They make everything easy when it comes to paying the bill by charging an automatic 16% fee, so you don't need to fill in the tip. This restaurant is located in a small plaza but parking is plenty and the wait is not long for a Saturday afternoon. There is a boba place inside but the drinks doesn't look that great so we didn't order any. The staffs are very nice and the setup inside is pretty unique. We didn't get to sit inside one of the Hexagon pods or the lantern cage table but its ok. The ramen is actually pretty good. The broth has a deep flavor to it and the ramen itself is not bad. It is not spectacular but I would say slightly above average. We ordered Combo B so it came with a lot of extra stuff. The ramen though cannot be exchanged so I got the Sapporo Miso Ramen while my wife got the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen. We also ordered the Yakitori Platter. While the Ramen are decent, the other dishes are subpar. I am 99% sure the Yakitori was pre-made and just reheated. It has no char flavor at all. I believe some off site kitchen prepped the food and the restaurant just reheated the food. That was the most disappointing part of the meal. The cost of the Yakitori was equivalent to actual Yakitori places so I expected decent quality Yakitori. I think the popcorn chicken is the same. It has no crunch to it at all and it is barely warm. The two desserts are decent. Those can be prepare ahead and won't affect the flavor since they are served chilled. After the meal, one of the bowls actually won a free drink so we'll claim it when we return next time. Overall the meal was decent. I just won't order the appetizers next time. Normally I would just give a 3 star since the Yakitori was a bust but the staffs are very nice so I kept it at 4 stars. The place is also very clean too so I would like to repeat to try other dishes.

Kyuramen x TBaar brings together a Japanese-inspired ramen restaurant and bubble tea café under one…read moreroof, offering a menu that extends well beyond ramen. We walked into a space that stands out for its modern interior, featuring private wooden booth seating that creates a cozy, semi-private dining experience, the kind of setup that makes the meal feel more intimate than a typical ramen shop. The atmosphere feels contemporary and social, with a clean, thoughtfully designed layout that works well for both casual dinners and group outings, and the attached TBaar makes it easy to finish the meal with a specialty tea or dessert without leaving the restaurant. While ramen is the restaurant's signature, many of the menu's standout dishes are actually found elsewhere. The omurice is one of the most popular items, served with a fluffy egg and rich demi-glace or curry sauce that makes it one of the restaurant's signature comfort dishes, and the presentation, with the egg split open at the table, adds a theatrical element to the meal. Other highlights include yakitori, bao buns, katsu, takoyaki, and appetizers that give the menu plenty of variety. The ramen itself is solid, with options ranging from traditional tonkotsu to the Yin Yang Ramen that lets you sample both spicy and non-spicy broths in one bowl, though the quality of the ramen can feel less memorable than some of the restaurant's other specialties, the broth lacking the depth and complexity that defines a dedicated ramen shop. The attached TBaar also adds another layer to the experience with milk teas, fruit teas, and desserts that pair well with the meal. Matcha tiramisu, Japanese cherry blossom jelly, and other sweets help round out the menu, making it easy to stay for dessert instead of stopping somewhere else afterward, and the drinks are well prepared, with the tea flavors coming through clearly without being overly sweet. The restaurant's design is one of its biggest strengths. The wooden booths provide a semi-private dining experience, and the overall space feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, creating an environment that encourages lingering over a meal rather than rushing through it. Service is generally friendly and welcoming, though it can slow down during busier periods as the restaurant fills up, with the team handling the steady flow but sometimes taking longer to check in when the dining room is at capacity. The overall experience remains positive, and the pace of the meal stays comfortable even when the service stretches. Kyuramen x TBaar offers more than just ramen. The inviting atmosphere, diverse menu, and combination of savory dishes, drinks, and desserts make it a well-rounded dining destination. While the ramen may not be the strongest reason to visit compared to some dedicated ramen shops, the omurice, appetizers, desserts, and unique dining experience make it a place worth trying, especially if you are looking for variety rather than focusing on a single dish. The balance of creativity, comfort, and a polished setting makes it a versatile option for a meal that feels more like an experience than a quick stop.
