This place is sooo clean, comfortable and a fun environment, whether your outside hanging out by the fire pits, heated patio or just sitting at a table with friends/family. First time staying a 4 Points in Bellingham, WA and B-town is attached Bar and Grill. The Oregon Underwood 2015 Pinot Noir was the house Pinot Noir that was good as well as economical. The recommendation was grilled Prawns with with Garlic Noodles and Sriracha Brussels Sprouts (nice flavour and mild heat) were all excellent! Ask for Shelby she was an excellent hostess!! read more

We came for happy hour, my husband loved kobe burger, cooked just the way he likes. I tried two oysters (raw) and fish and chips. The fries are to die for. My fish was so good I didn't use any dipping sauce. We'll definitely be back for dinner next time. read more

A fabulous four course Thanksgiving meal. Not only turkey and all the fixings but rosemary roasted pork accompanied with fig mustard jam and yam au gratin as well as a squash and lentil salad with goat cheese and, of course, for a splendid finishing touch pumpkin cake with candied pecans and caramel sauce. Came in on New Year's Eve for dinner. Staff really seems like they enjoy working there which adds a lot to the atmosphere. I was staying at the Four Points by Sheraton hotel. I had gone with my son in Fairhaven and Downtown but since I was by myself then so I looked at options nearby the hotel. I was glad to choose the restaurant during Happy Hour since it was right in the hotel. I tried some Asian dishes and seafood dishes. I love both and am very strict on standards due to my familiarly with Scandinavian and Asian food with many years in many countries there. The best one was the Salmon Crostini. Excellent and I would not modify it is anyway. The Grilled Oysters were very good too as were the raw ones, The Siu Mai Dumplings were tasty too. Lastly I had the Char Siu Pork. The spicy mustard and sesame ketchup they made were good a plentiful. Maybe some sesame seeds needed. The Pork was not dry but I think was cut too thick and more like a pork lion not Char Siu. It should have been more red or pink rather than brown to be more appetizing. read more

We stayed at the four points Sheraton and experienced the B-town bar for lunch and late night snacks. Drinks were great, service was quick and the outdoor patio is awesome at night with live music. It's an odd location next to Fred Meyer and the freeway, but you totally forget about that when you are in their patio area. I reserved a fire side table at 12:30 for the 1:05 Seattle Seahawks game for a party of 5. Arrived at 12;00 and was told when I was checking in that tables cannot be guaranteed. What???? I called for reservations earlier in the week. I got a fire table, but not in front of the tv for the game. What's the point of a reservation if tables can't be gauranteed?? They should have let me know this when I called on the reservation. Disappointed to say the least!! The bloody mary they serve here kicks ass. Their food is enjoyable and generally appropriate prices for what you get. Staff was attentive and accommodating to me and my boyfriend. One big issue I have here though. Why is there so little on their seafood and raw menu? They have around 5 things on it with little variation. My friend and I went there yesterday because of their nice patio. I have been here before and have never been overly impressed by the service but this time it was excellent. We were greeted at the front desk promptly. We asked if we could sit by a fire outside and luck would have it there was a spot available. Our waitress Stephanie was very warm, welcoming and attentive. The manager, I think his name was David was making rounds to tables, filling water glasses, running food. We ordered a bottle of wine and he came and topped my glass. The appetizers were tasty. The whole experience was exactly what my friend and I needed. I have only been here for happy hour, and I have not been disappointed. The space is great, the outside space is large and spacious with fire pits and comfy seating. Inside is very chic but still comfortable. Service has always been attentive and quick. Everything I tried was good but the calamari is excellent. When it first came out I saw it was large, thick pieces and I was worried it was going to be chewy, but it was so tender and delicious. I do wish they had a discount on their specialty cocktails for happy hour, but with $4 glasses of 14 Hands at happy hour I can't be too mad about it. read more

I was a long time Poppe's regular. I loved the place. When I heard they were going to remake it, I was bummed. However, B Town, despite the terrible name, turned out very well. The atmosphere is lighter and got a nice vibe. Many of the staff from Poppe's are back and as friendly as ever. The food is definately better than Poppe's, which was good sometimes, but not all the time. I have had the crab bisque, grilled chicken with noodles ( my fav) and the garlic sticky chicken wings (addictive). I am pleasantly surprised that they actually improved this place significantly, even kept the fire pits outside. My new favorate place to hang out and watch a game. read more

I got the fish and chips and they were over cooked and tough, and my boyfriend got the shrimp quesadilla and they were just trying to do too many flavors at once. Um it's oooh kay.....They have a nice patio and good atmosphere. I had fish n'chips. Everything was overfried, too dark verging on burnt but still tasty. My lunchmates reported it was well salted. The fish itself tasted fresh and good. Hand cut fries. Small portions for the price tho. Better for drinks n'apps or Happy Hour. Dessert was 'spice custard' which is cinnamon nutmeg ice cream. Atmosphere is great, feels like a swanky Scottsdale bar/restaurant. Location is horrible, in a parking lot off of a hotel and Fred Meyer. I think Bellingham is so beautiful, this place looks like it should have a water view...the drinks were great,. however, the food wasn't anything to get excited about. The chowder tasted a bad fishy taste, and the fish in chips breading was very greasy and smooth. I prefer a lighter, more textured breading. Employees were very kind....I think the look of the place and the people were the best part of the experience! read more

Probably the best restaurant in the northern hemisphere. I ordered a drink and it was in front of me before I could say, "thank you". As far as the food, the Brussels sprouts literally we're the best thing I've ever feasted on. Not only did they taste good but I was ten years younger after eating them. The Kobe burger was cooked a perfect medium rare. I added cheese and avocado because of course I'm a glutton and it was the perfect combo. I couldn't eat it fast enough. I finished my cholesterol over take with the chocolate parfait and literally died of happiness(or a blood sugar spike) but the staff was quick to resurrect me with their on site defibrillators.
