Tried B-Town's new brunch menu for the first time and it was so good! We ordered the chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy and the breakfast burger and they were all super yummy. They also serve fresh fruit, breakfast potatoes and donuts family style with your meals which was a fun surprise. And you can't beat $1 mimosas!! Highly recommend giving it a try. read more

I loved the outdoor setting. It was made warm and cozy with a fire pit that made the atmosphere like a snow lodge in winter. The marvelous food was icing on the cake. The cuisine which partially consisted of roasted brussell sprouts and sliders and marinated chicken legs were a great departure from the usual "wings". The raspberry cocktail topped it off. well...let me start off by saying this WAS one of our favorite spots in town. today may have been a fluke, but today B Town sucked! ordered first, everyone around us got their orders before us for about an hour! then, when food finally cam, shrinkflation at its finest! This place was such a treat, during my stay at the Four Points Sheraton - the restaurant is connected to the hotel. I got to sit outside, in the outdoor patio area. It's filled with nice comfortable lounge chairs, fire pits, and TV's. I ordered off the happy hour menu and really recommended it to anyone venturing here. They have an awesome selection of food options, cocktails, and beers on draft. I could not get enough of their oysters. My partner in crime and I couldn't help ourselves and ordered a dozen oysters each. I suggest trying the sweet potato fries - they were incredible, almost like shoestring fries. The overall vibe of this place feels pretty new to me. It has a nice modern décor, restrooms are located outside the entry way, almost as if you are walking into the hotel; so this may be confusing to some. read more

I've been eagerly awaiting the opening of B-Town Kitchen and Raw Bar. My expectations were set pretty high which can be unfair for a new restaurant. I am pleased to report that they exceeded my expectations both in service and the food. First impressions when walking in were excellent. Nicely appointed, busy yet spacious, and received genuine warm greeting. Although I sat inside, the patio looks like an even more fun place to sit. Perhaps my biggest surprise was I expected primarily "raw" items on the menu, however the selection of burgers steaks and seafood items all look worthwhile trying. It's a good problem to have when there are so many good options on the menu you have trouble deciding. The server was knowledgeable helpful and constantly checking in to see how we were enjoying things. Tried several appetizers. The chicken wings were the best I've had anywhere. For the main meal I opted for the basic burger which was delicious. I anticipate returning on a regular basis so I can work my way through the fantastic looking menu. I didn't have drinks on this visit but I can tell you that the drink list was impressive and I look forward to trying it in the future. read more

Went here because of the high yelp rating. Given there's only 14 reviewers, I was suspicious. Turns out to be rightly so. Order a dozen oysters, it was not fresh. The real disappointment was the fish and chips. It was so overly fried, was close to half burnt. Making the usual cod fish dry and bitter. The French fries were burnt yet soggy. Would suggest they chance to clean oil before attempting using the deep fryer. However, the spinach salad was ok. read more

I sat at the bar it was clean and tidy...ordered the 14 hands chardonnay $6 and the shrimp cocktail 10$ i liked that the shrimp cocktail had cocktail and horseradish in it..im a sucker for some good horseradish! I saw quite a few bloody marys go out they had one slice of bacon on a skewer which looked like a pain for the bartender they should just place the bacon on top with no skewer much easier and looks just as nice, and a shrimp on the side it looked yummy! The few times I've gone here have always been great experiences! The staff is so kind and always willing to go the extra mile for those dining here. Not only do they have delicious, reasonably priced food, but also tasty cocktails that leave me wanting another. The most recent time I came here, I tried some of their Brussels sprouts. This was our second visit to B-Town, which is in the Sheraton Hotel, although the heated patio is set up so well you wouldn't realise you're on the edge of a hotel parking lot. The staff who greeted us were very efficient and pleasant. Menus given and drinks order taken pronto. You could see the manager walking around and checking on things, which was nice to see. We were invited to the Yelp Elite night. The patio was warm and welcoming with plenty of comfy seats. There were TVs if you wanted to watch a game or had kids with you. You certainly didn't need a coat on this late October night! We were offered the Washington Raspberry cocktail but found it too sweet, but it was certainly enjoyed by others at our table. The calamari was delicious and freshly fried. We didn't have the opportunity to try any of the other food. One thing I would comment on is that the crispy toasted Brussels should maybe be served on a platter/plate as they steamed themselves in the steam tray. The food and beverage manager came around and was chatting with people to make sure everyone was having a good time. Great venue for meeting people in a group setting. I don't give 5 star reviews that often but B-Town is definitely a 5 star establishment based on my experience. The hubster took me here for dinner to celebrate my birthday. I was a little wary because I wasn't sure what to really expect, but it ended up being a great dining experience. We could've eaten inside, but it was such a beautiful evening so we decided to sit out on the patio by one of the fire pits. I *love* clam chowder and the pacific northwest clam chowder served here was AMAZING. It was hot, flavorful and even had salmon in it. This chowder was so wonderful that I already knew I'd definitely come back here to get. The second dish I had was a poke bowl. It was supposed to come with rice but I requested to have fresh greens instead and it was switched without a problem. For the longest time you could not pay me to eat raw fish but now I *love* it. The poke salad was light and refreshing. The third dish I had was the Asian lettuce wraps that were topped with peanuts and pomegranate seeds. It was tasty, light and full of flavor. When I had finished all three dishes I was happy and satisfied, not full and bloated. As for the hubster, he ordered a dish of black mussels, shrimp cocktail and raw oysters. He loved his food. I even tried one of the raw oysters and it was very good. Hubster also ordered a Caesar and it was the best Caesar we had ever seen or tasted in our lives. It was stunning- a jumbo shrimp, a slice of bacon as well as the olives and a wedge of lime. Awesomeness! And since it was my birthday I was able to get a free dessert. I got the butter toasted pound cake with peaches and pistachios and the hubster and I shared it. I prefer chocolate desserts but the pound cake with the peaches really changed my mind. It was just warm, sweet and delicious! Overall, this has been one of the best restaurants we've been to in a long time and we highly recommended it to our family and friends. Last night was my second time eating at B-Town. The service was outstanding, and the ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the seared ahi tuna starter, visually stunning and delicious and 1 glass of white wine and a friend of mine ordered crab cakes and wine. Unfortunately, something might have been off since after eating the tuna, roughly 45 minutes later (we stayed for dessert) I was starting to experience really bad stomach pains and couldn't eat my dessert at all. Barely made it home before I vomited all of the ahi. Aside from that nastiness, we had a fantastic evening but I'll admit, I'm a little nervous to go back right now. As the evening was warmer and milder than usual, we were shown to our seats in the ample patio dining area of the restaurant on the occasion my partner's birthday "deal"--two main entrees for the price of one. Proper spacing was well thought out by hostess Sydney who helped us into our choice of seats. From the time we were comfortably seated and Megan our waitress showed up, everything ran like clock work. My customary Old Fashioned and a specially made up spicy cocktail for my partner, orders taken on recommendation and at Happy Hour prices--an appetizer of 2 Kobe beef sliders with caramelized pineapple and house fries (terrific!); a huge Pacific Caesar salad with Dungeness crab cake and poached prawns; and a great Szechuan vegetable and prawn stir fry which neither of us could finish. It was spicy to the max, but wonderfully flavorful. (I'll have it again for dinner tonight!) Everything about our dining experience was helped by our servers, so a special shoutout to their care and attentiveness--Megan and Sydney. It is good to know that things post pandemic madness are returning to some normality. I absolutely love everything I have ordered here. They make a scrumptious raspberry lemon drop and happy hour is awesome. We frequently meet up here for meetings as the spaces is large and there is always room to put a table or two together. They have a nice covered outdoor spaces with fire also. Very cozy! read more

Simply the worst service I've ever received. Showed up 30 minutes before happy hour, seated within 5 minutes, but wasn't served.. We ended up having to ask the hostess for water. She brought us glasses and water (and was happy to replace one of the glasses she brought us, which was filthy), but the waitress that was supposedly serving our table never showed. She did make a short appearance as she walked past, telling us she'd be with us shortly, but never came. Another waiter ended up serving us and provided prompt service. Finally! We received our drink order (the drinks were okay) and placed our food order. Our food never came. The waiter came by to get our order for a second round of drinks. Those also never made it to the table. After another 35 minutes of writing, we flagged down the hostess and told her we were just going to leave. She told us she'd go find her manager and disappeared. We joked that they'd rush our order to the front of the line if we tried to leave, and sure enough.... We turned the food away and asked again to speak with the manager, as we had waited almost an hour and a half and just wanted to leave. We were told that he was currently cooking (?) but she'd try. We waited a bit longer and then just got up and left. Don't come here if you don't have half a day to blow. read more

We really like B town. One of the nicest spots in Bellingham, especially since Covid. Really nice warm outdoor seating with ambience. The shrimp cocktail is great and the ONLY place in town that actually has REAL shrimp cocktail ie Prawns! We've had Christmas dinner there and loved it. The only complaint is the Brussel Sprouts are WAY OVERLY SAUCED. If they cut that down to an 1/8 or 1/4 of the sauce they would be awesome. We won't be ordering those again. Third time and too much sauce... will the chef see this and make a change? I hope so! I might be nice to just have them with garlic, lemon, onion and feta all roasted with olive oil and a drizzle of balsamic.... But anyway we really like B town. It has become a stop on our regular rotation. The hotel is pretty good too. We stay sometimes for the heck of it. read more

Finally tried B-town last night. The service was great, very prompt. They have a great outdoor seating area with fire pits and heaters. We ate inside as it was a little chilly outside, but I did walk out into the outdoor seating area and I was very surprised at how warm it was. We'll be sitting outside next time. The food was decent, we tried the calamari appetizer and it was great, we also tried the Poke appetizer, it tasted amazing, only problem is that they fill the bowl to the top with rice and put a little poke on top. Wasn't much there. Now for brutal honesty, I had the seafood tower, the lobster and prawns had zero flavor. The rest was fine. Could be that it gets served cold, which I'm not a fan of. Maybe if it were warm it would have more flavor. My wife ordered the prawns, she loved it. And my daughter ordered the lobster and garlic noodles. She said it was really good. We will definitely be returning in the future. Would have gave more stars if my food would have had more flavor. read more

"Hot new business", alright let's check it out. Nice lay out and decor. Modern yet cozy. I enjoyed it. We ordered drinks, I ordered the beach martini? I can remember the name but it had bourbon, pepper, basil and something else in it. It was good. The lady said it was too strong but I like my drinks that way :). She ordered something named paradise? It was yellow and it came in a shaker and was a bargain! Here, we ordered more oysters and a side of fries. We wanted Kumamoto, but they were out. Damn it! So we opted to try the Miagi and the kushi. Both were tasty! We tried all three of their sauces as well. Yummy. The fries were nice and crispy. Hot and fresh. I needed something else to munch on instead of just devouring oysters all day. I would definitely go back to this spot when I'm in the area. Would love to try other items on the menu. We started with the crab cakes - definitely not the best that we've had - they could have been fried longer - there was no crispy outside and they didn't hold their form. Our main entree was The Lobster with Garlic noodles. I was really excited about this dish, but the lobster was a wee bit on the dry side - and they didn't offer a butter sauce to dip the lobster in. The garlic noodles that came with the dish was a bit mealy. They were chewy and sticky and it was just a lump of a lot of noodles! Everything sounded great on the menu, but when it came to execution, I thought it could have been better! Perhaps they had an off night, but it was an expensive off night for us. Waittess said the menu had changed but menu not updated.Not edible. Waitress offered to replace "disgusting" burgers...the next burgers were so overcooked it was like leather. Supposed to have been medium. Partly because the happy hour is a tiny thin burger (different proportions also not mentioned). Not edible. B-Town is very unique, and definitely an excellent addition (replacement for Poppe's) to the Lakeway Hotel eats offerings. Their happy hour is what I usually (only twice) have stopped in to assess, and the offerings are pleasing! $4 house red/white/domestic drafts are about as low as prices get, and in a casual upscale atmosphere. Many dairy/gluten free options to eat, and they have SO many yummy sauces/dips, which I'm all about. Service has been friendly, albeit a touch slow at times, but this would be a marvelous date night or spot to take clients. I loved the cucumber aioli and the calamari. Different and very tasty! The sweet potato fries are also well done. Side important note! They have TVs AND happy hour all day on husky/Seahawk games. Which is AWESOME, because you avoid the insanity of parking downtown and absolutely brawling for a seat or beer. It can be very expensive off of the happy hour menu, however. So prepare to dish for your dish. read more
