Not only did they fail to fix my car, but they also claimed to have changed the spark plugs and a few other components--which I found out today was a complete lie. I did go to this location to have my wife's car looked at. It was slipping. They did inform me that they had found that the transmission was a quart low, (2016 Hyundai accent, with the sealed transmission). Unfortunately, this did not fix my issue. But, they did add a quart of fluid and explained to me that this could be the issue. Unfortunately, this was not the fix. read more

I do not. For the life of me. Recommend this place to anyone. We went there off of a customer refferal...which was said to be very good, affordable, and professional. We met with Muhammad(who is the owner) and the consultation went fine. he did a diagnostic on our vehicle, told us what (we thought) was everything wrong with it, how much all the parts cost, and how much it would be in total to fix the car. My husband pick the car up (before leaving the shop asked the person if everything was in fact fixed and was informed that it was) and got a mile away from the shop when he realized that there was a big problem. He had our vehicle over a mouth only to find that he only put a bandaid on some of the issues (stop leak in the radiator)and the others were ignored. We called the shop looking for Muhammad to let him know what was going on to only be met with a green-horn mechanic who knew nothing of what was going on and an absent Muhammad who is said to be all of the sudden "out of town". The man informed us that our head gasket need to be replaced(this was not on the list of issues with the car after the diagnostic tests were done). It has been over a month since the incident and we can not for the life of us get in touch with this person. We call...we show up...and he is NEVER there. All we want is our money back...period. Okay, I'll admit it. I'm not as self-sufficient as I'd like to be. I'm not as much a guy as I should be. But, at least I don't overpay for my car maintenance and therefore, I am as many as it gets. But yes, I do really need to learn how to change my own oil. I think it would make me feel more complete, but why do that when you have Baam Auto? I haven't been coming here for years, but I have for my last three oil changes. Normally my oil changes cost in the upwards of $50 and that's just the oil change. God forbid I need a new air filter or something else. Baam Auto is owned by a family friend of mine and I wouldn't say that my review will be super bias, cause when you have a car you can't afford to be bias. The oil changes are advertised here as $9.99 and they are, plus services. Which comes out to a...wait for it you empty pocket friends...$13. An oil change, in Las Vegas for $13? Yes it is true and it is quality. They work in all fields of car maintenance, so you can come here and get a fair and quality estimate of the service. I somehow broke the clutch in my car and they really got the job done fairly quick for an awesome price that didn't veer from the estimate. The one thing I can say that you should keep your heads up about is that you have to know a good time to come. Weekends are busy and weekdays are busy. Which if you reaaaally think about it, is a good thing because people trust his service. Everyone loves Mohammed, the owner, because he is super honest and really nice. For an oil change, go at opening at 8 AM for the quickest turnaround time and you'll be out of there in less than an hour. I have lived here about 10 years. I found this auto shop due to the advertisement of 9.99 oil change. I was pleased with the price and service and have been a loyal customer since. I have went to other mechanics who DO rip you off. I would like to say Muhammed is an honest and superb businessman. It seems Erica is playing victim, I don't know ANY auto shop that would hold your car for free... not ANYWHERE in the US. The people that were stuck on the highway a few weeks ago and escaped their cars due to the wildfires had to pay enormous fees to retrieve their car. Muhammed will give his customers an estimate and a fair deal. Also for his loyal customers he will accept a payment arrangement and I have yet to come across and other auto shop that will do that. Don't believe the negative reviews, I believe in karma. Nothing in life is free... that's why I don't believe what the "naysayers" have written. Don't throw in the pity party you are a single woman. Do NOT Go here!!! I was completely robbed. My car broke down on the freeway, ended up being my engine. Muhammad (owner! Horrible) told me I could tow it to his shop and they will look at it. Said he would look for the parts needed. He said it would be no charge to hold my car there. Told him I was unsure if I wanted to fix it or sell and buy a new car. He kept giving me the run around on the needed used engine (so he says) for months. Never gave me a price. Finally, I told him I was going to get a second opinion and have it towed elsewhere. Came in person yesterday and he was completely agreeable and OK with it. Never gave me any invoice or charges due. Today comes and the tow truck tells me he refuses to release my car. Hides my car between two cars, a wall and a palm tree. He starts yelling at me in front of his customers (and my daughter), pointing his finger, calling me stupid and lying about what he told me the entire time. Called the cops who came to mediate. Mind you, I am a single woman with a three year old daughter. Ended up paying $400 for NO WORK DONE and still had to get it towed. From the beginning, he told em one thing then blatantly LIED to my face. I offered to get it towed MONTHS ago but he said he was still looking for the engine and if he couldnt find it, no one else in Vegas could. Its my fault for trusting a mechanic, and for trusting HIM. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING HE TELLS YOU! THERE IS NO HONESTY IN THAT MAN'S EYES. No remorse. Next time, I will get it in writing. Make sure you get his lies in WRITING. he will tell you "he gives you his word", well his word means nothing! Better business bureau and DMV compliance will be made aware. I have video of him lying and being completely disrespectful. This is appalling and its disgusting a man like this can run a business. Shame, shame, shame! read more
