I came a few minutes before opening and the door was already unlocked and they were happy to serve me early. I appreciate that! Some places won't do that - if you know, you know I love that there is a variety of dumplings, potstickers and wontons (soup and non- soup versians). If you're an overall dumpling lover, come try this spot and don't forget to ask for a stamp card
Walked in around 1pm, speedy service it was my first time trying this place, noodles are decent, dumplings were pretty fire. My total was $16.34 for noodles and small portion of dumplings.
This woman was so rude. I asked for a sample of sour soup and she said no and disregarded me immediately putting her back towards me. She did the same thing when I asked if used Va discount. I told her I would yelp this she is the asian one with the short haircut. Also she used her hands to touch my wontons. It old her that was unsanitary. I want a fresh batch then she used prongs and wiped her head with the tip of them. This is so not right and now she making new wontons and letting my sour soup get cold she wouldnt let me sample. Somebody needs to give her a pep talk. Right before I left she started at it again! Using her hands when every other worker is using gloves. I called her out. She said oh well they are wrapped. Listen viewers I seen her grab them with bare hands and throw from freezer straight to fryer. I guess she thinks she is too good to where gloves.
Potstickers, dumplings, noodles, and soups are all delish and affordable. Their pork chop is super soft but a tad bit oily but still awesome! FOOD 4/5 Not bad for fast food grab and go including their frozen offers which I keep seeing tons of customers pick up. FAIR AMBIENCE 3/5 Open high ceiling and decent seating but WOW it's dirty here. The single shared bathroom is nasty, sauces are empty, and the trash was overfilled. Sad the (3) employees don't rotate or have time periods to clean up everything SERVICE 4/5 Always consistent from ordering and making it made to order. PARKING 4/5 LA Fitness and other restaurants share the lot so it's a hit or miss when you come.
My first time at Bafang, but I will most definitely be back soon to try more of their menu. This is a fast-casual chain hailing from Taiwan, where they have more than 1100 locations across Hong Kong, China, and their home country, making it (per their website) the largest franchise restaurant operation in that part of the world. Here, it's very much a simple affair: Formica tables, digital menu over the register, plastic trays and utensils. Order at the counter and grab a seat, your electronic number will vibrate when the food is ready. While you wait, you can fill ramekins with self-serve dipping sauces: soy, sesame oil, black vinegar, a composed garlic sauce and a spicy Sambal. I opted for their Signature Potstickers, with a filling of pork and cabbage, and an order of the Spicy Wontons, which are steamed and tossed in said spicy sauce, topped with scallion. The potstickers were nicely crisped, with a mild but flavorful filling. They worked well with all of the sauces, and were very satisfying. The sauce atop the Spicy Wontons had a nice heat that tingled without overwhelming the tongue. Alternating bites between these two similar but different-enough dumplings was a nice way to enjoy the meal. They have a number of other options on the menu: Chinese soups like Wonton and the like, some noodles, a fried pork chop, and an entree-sized beef noodle soup. It all looks good, and it's all fairly priced. A nice addition to the quick meal options in the area, and far better-tasting than what you get at the other, well-known fast food Chinese places.
Super fresh dumplings! The dumplings remind me of the ones I grew up making with my mom and grandma because they have such fresh veggies in them. The first time I came to this restaurant and I tried the pork dumpling, I cried because I was so nostalgic of the home made dumplings that I missed so much. At this time, I've tried all their dumplings, the pot sticker, hot sour soup, and a few of their rice bowls. I really love the original pork dumpling and the chicken corn dumplings the most. But I still eat the kimchi and veggie dumplings too. It's nice to eat them hot in the restaurant, but they are also sold frozen. The frozen ones are so convenient for work night dinners. Great way to gave a quick dinner of fresh dumplings. My husband loves their pork bowl. It has pork cooked different ways and a delicious pickled veggies to contrast. The service is so nice. They answer all my questions very thoroughly. I appreciate that the food is made to order and still very quickly ready. For take out, the food is packaged very thoughtfully to prevent spills.
The dumplings are great! I got the signature dumplings, 12 pieces with a hot and sour soup. I also really enjoyed the sauces. The soup was SO hot at first i couldn't eat it. I waited a bit and still ended up burning my mouth. The hot and sour soup was ok. I liked the veggies in it but ultimately not for me. The wonton soup was so incredibly oily that we did not enjoy it. The flavor was just dominated by oil. Customer service was just ok. I had some questions and it felt like the cashier was rushing me a little. Price point is pretty good for the amount of food you get. Overall, I'd come back but only for the dumplings.
We went to the City of Industry location when it first opened and was pleasantly surprised when they opened another location closer to us in Van Nuys! This location has good traffic from the Costco and gym nearby. We loved getting the dumplings and beef noodle soup. They are quite flavorful and satisfying! If you need more sauce there is a station to get your fill of garlic, sesame oil, black vinegar, soy sauce and chili with ramekins. The beef noodle soup does have a bit of heft to it so worth it if you're hungry and need something substantial. All the dumplings are great to snack on.
Ok, so I came here on invitation & I had the wonton soup. It was so good! My friends had the soup & she's obsessed but it was big enough for her to swim in, so we packed it home. We shared dumplings & they are so good! I'll definitely be back for those. It's a nice, clean restaurant & everyone was really friendly. You order at the counter & they give you a buzzer when your food is ready to pick up. The car park is a little tight around dinner time, but it's nice & easy spaces. Would definitely come back for the soup! I love that this is a TAIWANESE place with all the flavors to match!
The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was exactly what I was craving. Deep flavor, firm noodles, and tender meat with pickled collard greens to boot. Portion size was good too. Not the best one I've ever had but would go back for this. The signature noodles were just okay, not flavorful. The signature potstickers were better. They have a sauce table.
Tried it today for the first time... I ordered ahead online so it is ready for pick up... Food: I orderd 2 Bafang Noodles, 2 Fried Pork Chops, 2 Spicy Wonton and 1 Signiture 6pc pork dumpling for iur lunch. I must say that everything was delicious!! My son who's apicky eater, loved the noodles, dumpling and porkchops - like he literally ate a lot and even said, "their food is good!". The serving portion is decent for the price. From my opinion, the noodles is good for 1-2 people especially if your are planning to order other entrees. But of course if you have a big appetite then order for each... Like for us (4 in the fam) we actually didn't get to eat 1 of the extra bafang noodles and fried porkchop and there are atleast 6pcs of spicy wontons left - so I no longer need to cook dinner for tonight coz' we have some more food to eat! Yay! Service: I didn't get to go in the store, my husband picked it up but he said, the food was ready, the staff are nice and helpful and the sauces are in the condiments section and it is self serve. Ambience: Since the place is new, it is nice, clean and spacious he said and the place where Bafang Dumpling is at is right accross Costco Gas Station. I can't wait for this place to open in Northridge since that is going to be closer to us!! 5 stars to Bafang!!
I realy enjoyed the dumplings here and service from Bafang. I stopped by at lunch and it wasn't too busy. From ordering to receiving my food was only about 10 minutes. I ordered the Noodle and potsticker combo with a side of dumplings for about $23 The least favorite for me was the noodle dish. It wasn't bad, but I think it just lacked flavor outside of the spice. It had a good kick of spice but it was kinda flat and not really exciting or unique. The noodles however were so good, cooked well and chewy. the potstickers were crispy, juicy, and filled well. While the dumplings were also cooked well and stuffed, juicy, and went so well with the vinegar and sauces available for you to serve yourself.
TL;DR: delicious authentic Chinese dumplings in Van Nuys with quick service in a clean atmosphere!! AMBIANCE/PARKING: The parking lot tends to be a little on the crowded side, but you are always able to get a spot pretty close by! It is nearby Costco, 99 Ranch, and LA Fitness. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright with plenty of tables for dine in and space to wait for takeout. Not a hole in the wall by any means! It is counter service but definitely comfortable to eat in. SERVICE: Counter service. You order at the register. You can also order online for a quicker pick up experience. There are usually 2-3 workers who are working the kitchen and register simultaneously but you don't usually have to wait long to place your order. The food can take a little longer just because it's made to order so feel free to take advantage of online ordering ahead of time if you want your food more quickly. The staff is nice though! FOOD: Delicious and authentic!!! Would highly recommend! Menu: They have a decently large menu. They are known mostly for their dumplings, either panfried potstickers or boiled dumplings. I tend to get the potstickers because they're juicy and crunchy and satisfying! However, they also have other options ranging from noodle dishes (Dan Dan noodles, sesame noodles) and even spicy beef noodle soup 紅燒牛肉麵! I usually opt for their combos, which consist of 12 or 6 dumplings or potstickers with something else like a wonton soup or noodles. You can customize it all, like choose regular or kimchi flavored dumplings and choose what side you want. It's all relatively affordable, around $15. The potstickers themselves are delicious. They have a great flavor and are panfried to perfection. Definitely give them a try if you want authentic potstickers. You can also buy the dumplings frozen if you want to cook some at home! Overall, LOVE bafang for authentic Chinese dumplings at a good price! Definitely check it out next time you want a quick, delicious, and authentic Chinese meal! :)

I love that more Taiwanese spots are opening in the valley! Bafang is in the same plaza as LA Fitness so parking is more limited during dinner hours. --Combo #4 (Signature Noodles + Potstickers): this combo was pretty delicious. The signature noodles had a peanut base and numbing spice. The potstickers were solid. --Taiwanese Beef Noodles Soup: noodles were cooked nicely, beef was tender, but the broth needed to be more savory than sweet in my opinion. --Chili Peppered Fried Chicken: the meat reminds me of popcorn chicken, which I loved but I didn't like the spices it came with.. it was too sweet! I didn't really taste the spice at all. --Hot Sour Soup: I wouldn't get this again.. Plenty of indoor seating. They also sell boba! Overall, Bafang is a valley 4 in my book, and I would come back if I'm not up to drive to San Gabriel. read more

I came here for lunch with coworkers as we were in the area for a field visit. The noodles were underwhelming and lacked diverse flavor. I think they need to consider adding veggies or protein to it because the portion is pretty large for it just to be noodles alone. The sesame noodles had a good creamy sauce but was very flat, and I needed to get sauces from the bar to mix in. The potstickers were quite good, and very perfectly crispy. The restaurant was clean, and you could tell it was a modern and newer establishment. I don't know if I would return if I had to choose it over other Asian food options, but it wasn't a bad choice for a quick lunch. (3.5/5) read more
We came here during their grand opening. We ordered their dry noodle, signature noodle and their beef soup. Everything was packed with flavor. The beef soup was yummy but the meat itself was a little chewy. The signature potstickers and the pork chops were pretty good as well, super filling! The oolong milk tea was not too sweet, boba was made well, great texture throughout. The soy awesome was good, mom loved it, she's a bigger fan of red bean and taro than I am. First time trying this place. Only tried their noodle and soup dishes. Haven't really tried their dumplings yet. We got the Taiwanese beef noodle soup, beef dry noodle, and hot and sour soup. I really like that their soup was served hot (just cause I like my soups really hot). The beef noodle soup didn't have a consistent tenderness of their meat. Some meat chunks were tough, and some are super tender. The broth taste is good though. This was a clean tasting soup. The dry beef noodle was okay - had some beef shavings which was good with the garlic sauce and spicy sauce. The hot and sour was the one I really enjoyed the flavor the most. It was served hot as I like it. Staff were super friendly. They answered the questions so kindly and politely. I even then asked to have the mala sauce while I started eating already and they gave me a side of it to try. I like that they have a sauce counter - which had soy sauce, garlic sauce, chili sauces and some I could not remember for your dumplings or any of your food. Has a self serve drink area as well. Finally a Taiwanese place in the valley! At least that I know of. I know this is a chain but I'm still super impressed with the food. Inside is standard seating around. It's located across the LA fitness Van Nuys so it's super tempting. Good luck finding parking when it's busy at the gym esp between 6-8 pm. Rising star dish: Mala beef noodle soup. I thought would be a miss she could be too oily but I was so pleasantly shocked. Soup, noodles and BEEF were so good. Beef very tender and not too fatty. There were BIG chunks. The mala is a great spice kick. Not for the faint of heart. I just love the numbing feeling. I would totally get this again We tried the corn and chicken potstickers and the kimchi and pork dumplings but both were okay. I'd give a 3.5/5. I honestly would just come back for the mala noodle soup dish. I no longer have to go to pho for my noodle soup fix! read more

I only regret that I'm too old to enjoy their drinks (grass jelly, red bean, jello, soy -- so awesome!). Right after I had one, my continuous glucose monitor went off the charts and my phone started beeping like I was about to faint... But I really like them because BaFang has stopped selling those drinks in the place I live for a long time. :D So I went crazy after I discovered Van Nuys has BaFang? I love their pork dish ($10.00). I actually brought it home and added frozen vegetables and scrambled eggs to share with my husband. You know I have to watch my carbs. :D I love BaFang. I hope they will reduce the sugar in the drinks I love -- but this isn't a complaint. I just don't want to have to work out crazily every time my phone gives me warnings. read more

I'm so excited that this place opened up down the street from me! We needed a good dumpling place in the valley. And the employees were so friendly and helpful since it was my first time at the restaurant! There's also plenty of seating inside and the vibes were vibing. I ordered the veggie pot stickers, sesame noodles, signature noodles, and the mango soy tea! All were SUPERB but my favorite was the signature noodles. They were spicy and had a hint of orange zest I want to say? They were so unique and delicious. 11/10! I will definitely be going back very very soon! read more
Updating my review to reflect that we tried the other half of the menu and it is fantastic! The noodle consistency and sauce was amazing, they more than made up for the mistake in last time's order, and we absolutely loved the potstickers and wonton soup. The noodles were my favorite, then the pot stickers, and the xiaocai on the side were adorable and delicious (not on the online menu, but in a cooler next to the register)! Excellent service and their grand opening looks like a huge success! Looking forward to many more stops by here in the future! read more
The hubby and I came here for opening weekend and we had great service. The place was packed. The servers were so attentive and kind. We ordered two tiger bobas, signature dumplings, kimchi and pork dumplings, potstickers, corn chowder, and beef noodle soup. We felt that the potstickers could have been crispier but had good flavor. The signature dumplings were great and the beef noodle soup had yummy tender beef. The tiger boba had nice soft boba. The corn chowder wasn't very corn-forward but it tasted good. They have dipping sauces such as sambal, vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic sauce. Their sesame oil just tasted like oil to me but their garlic sauce was good. Their sambal had okay flavor but not too strong. They share the parking lot with a few other businesses, including LA Fitness. The ambiance is nice and casual. read more

This. Is. Amazing!!!! I'm stoked to see more bomb asian food - esp taiwanese - in SFV. Means less commuting to SGV for the food fix. SO and I came around opening on a Thursday and surprisingly a good pace of people; all tables were full by noon. I love the open space and simplicity of the interior, as it makes the sauce station and cashiers more accessible. Food was excellent - nothing too overpowering. Simple dishes but complex flavors. Drinks were also on point. - Combo #4: Signature potstickers had a perf crisp bottom and juicy center. Bafang Signature noodles had a bounce that I look for in noodles and a flavor that was peanut buttery(?) goodness w/ an ever so slight kick. Would def again - Taiwanese Beef Noodles $17.50 - def sharable between two. Clean tasting broth and oh so tender beef. - Soy awesome $5.45 - would get again. Maybe would get less taro tho. - oolong boba $5.25: boba warm and chewy and good tea! Yumm With it as busy as this on their soft opening, this place is going to be a staple in the valley. i was so excited to see a bafang dumpling open in the valley! very affordable chinese food with authentic flavors :) parking is easy to find, as the parking lot is pretty big. we didn't have to wait long for food either, and staff was very helpful with answering questions! i am happy to report multiple vegetarian options! they have veggie options for both the dumplings and potstickers, and all four noodle options (bafang signature, sesame, spicy mala, and old fashioned noodle) are also vegetarian! i ordered the veggie potstickers, which i found delicious and perfectly crispy. the bafang signature noodles have a nice szechuan flavor to them if you're into that. the sesame noodles have a creamy sesame flavor, which was my favorite! the noodles have a great bite to them, and weren't over or under cooked! they also offer sauces such as soy sauce, garlic sauce, sesame oil, and a chili paste to complement your meal. overall, i will definitely be back! read more

I want to start by saying the customer service here is fantastic. Super welcoming and took the time to explain the menu items/combos to me. The food was delicious and they have a self serve sauce station so I love that they are not stingy with their sauces. The restaurant itself is super cute with a decent amount of seating. Quick dumpling fix! My friend brought us here and we fell in love on their food. Their dumplings are cooked well and very tasty as well as their breaded chicken and pork. They have noodles too which gives adds variety to what they offer. Since this place is new, the tables and inside are still clean and good. read more

Fast friendly service. No wait at the counter. Open and clean dining area. Small "grab n go" cooler where you can pick up quick sides and juices. Combos are fun and a pretty decent deal. Frozen dumplings also available for purchase. Great option for a quick hot meal while on the go. read more
Food was good. Had the signature noodles with 6 potsticker combo. Signature was mild spicy. Add some soy sauce, vinegar and chilly sauce to give it some richer flavors. Also got the pork chop and Original noodles. Both were really good and we enjoyed the pork chop taste. Wasn't too fried, but it was thin. Place was super clean and staff was really friendly when ordering! Glad there's another decent Asian food place around this part of Valley read more

(scroll past the next 750 words for review) INTRO: After the ageless married couple tradition of, "Where do you want to eat? I dunno. I'll eat whatever you want," my wife and I found ourselves heading out of LA around 9:00pm to go back home. I'm usually a great multitasker while I drive (I'm writing this review on my phone via text as I drive right now! jkdsajd), so I wanted to bust out my Yelp app since my wife couldn't settle on a spot. But as I was swerving through traffic fumbling for my phone in my pocket (jk again), I remembered that I wanted to try Bafang Dumpling a while ago. It was on the way home and conveniently open late. Bingo. BODY: We rolled down the quiet streets of Van Nuys on this quaint Saturday night, announcing our foreign presence in the form of our giant dinosaur German Shepherd screaming at innocent pedestrians. Typical. We finally pulled up and were satisfied with the space and quietness of the parking lot, since our reptile-dog needed a noiseless place to hangout in the car while we ate. As soon as we walked in, I was pleased with the tidiness of everything. As a type A personality, I liked how organized and easy it was to read the menu and well labeled sauce station (Quick aside: I was hella scared to use them because they were in these large containers with pumps, so I was worried that the soy sauce/black vinegar would jizz all over my clothes upon first squirt, but fortunately it did not). I was hungry af so I was ready to order one of everything, but the way my mortgage in California is setup... What caught my attention the most were the people in the restaurant. Mind you, this was around 9pm on a Saturday in a suburban area. There was a middle-aged Asian man (I mean with Asians, you can never really tell) sitting by himself at a table, chowing down on some noodles. Not looking at his phone. No earbuds. Just chow town. Based on how homie was dressed, he most certainly has been to/is from Asia (As an Asian immigrant myself, I can say this. You probably can't). He certainly looked like he was enjoying himself, so I took that as an preliminary positive sign. Ordering ahead of us in line was a young man around my age who I shared some identities with. A bit of scruff on his face (Though that's not me, I know it's tough to accomplish as an Asian). A cool, loosely fitting beanie that made it clear he listened to hip-hop. Baggy oversize t-shirt and joggers that Gen Z'ers would approve of. You know the type. He was there with his dad trying to quickly explain the menu to him in an exasperated "C'mon dad, there's people behind us in line, it's not that complicated" way. I could tell he was feeling the heat because he even started muttering some things in broken Mandarin (Something I also do) to rush him. After we ordered and were waiting for our food, we sat down at a half booth near them and saw the two of them waiting in awkward silence. The mother eventually joined them, but you could tell the group of them probably weren't used to sitting down at a restaurant together. I was worried "belt to ass" may have been coming if the parents disapproved of the food. OUTRO: I'll save you the drama: I could tell the food was, in fact, satisfying to the taste How? They went from 1) Not talking at the table, to 2) Mom and dad kinda nodding their heads as they slurped down their noodle soup, to 3) Actually exchanging a few words. As if this was some Wong Fu Productions short about how food brings Asian families together, I saw warmth in their eyes. The parents acknowledging that their son finally made a good choice, despite living in overpriced Van Nuys working a job that most likely isn't in the medical field. The son, happily peering back at his parents, proud that he brought them to a place that harkened them back to their home country. It melted my ice cold heart, as I listened to the dad blow a snot rocket in the unisex restroom, to see an interaction that I so rarely have with my one remaining parent. I later saw them grocery shopping at 99 Ranch minutes before it closed, which is a true sign of a united family unit. I was just happy I got to witness their journey. Oh, and the actual review: Taiwanese beef noodle soup: 5/5 - As a Taiwanese immigrant I actually do have authority to judge. Nice tender chunks of meat, not too salty broth, well cooked noodles, good amount of veggies, and a huge portion size to meet the needs of fat Americans. Signature potstickers: 4/5 - Good flavor and filling. A bit on the smaller size so if you're hungry, order more than 6. Signature dumplings: 5/5 - As someone with high cholesterol due to my irresponsible tendency of eating salty foods, I was surprised that I liked the boiled dumplings more than the fried, oily, potstickers. They just felt so much fuller in ingredients with a nice QQ skin. Hot & sour soup: 3.5/5 - Didn't hate it, didn't love it. I knew when I ordered it, it was mostly on the menu to placate the Whites. read more
Quick and easy, super quick dumplings and noodles (Chinese/Taiwanese). The parking lot is shared with a gym and other small restaurants so it's busy at times. Walked in and was able to grab some freshly made dumplings and other items for dinner with the guy behind the counter. Walk up to order and pick up when the buzzer goes off (no wait staff). The restaurant itself was no frills. It was fast-foodie'ish but the food was good. Fully satisfied after our cold golf practice nearby. Clean restaurant, quick and nice service. read more

amazing place! went there for the first time and really enjoyed it! The dumplings are great and I love all the different sauces that you can try with them. The lemon black tea was incredible. I also thought the corn chowder was solid. I'm normally a fan of more creamier corn chowder but this one is still great. The place is very clean, the staff are super friendly. I have been to this restaurant twice since it opened in late December. My family & I were thrilled to find Taiwanese cuisine in the SF Valley. I've had their signature noodles, veggie potstickers, cold salad side dishes, and oolong tea soy beverage with grass jelly. Everything I had was delicious! My parents said their beef noodle soup is also very good. read more
The food is mediocre. Nothing special but it's def not bad. The service was ok. Seems like a bunch of young kids didn't really greet or say much. I tried the noodles and dumplings. The noodles didn't sell me but the dumplings were good. I'd come again for convenience not because it was amazing. read more

ah'ight y'all, I've been doing to try out this place in the past few months but I'm all the way down in noho/burbank border, so this was a drive. tried to get there easily, but my day off, I slept in. but when I got there about 11:30am, folks were in there, but they ordered online. good sign. my 1st visit so I went with the pork chops with pork belly rice m, that is delish, & bafang dumplings. this is delish y'all. place was clean as a whistle, only negative thing is have to say is... they have Pepsi. no offense to thee Pepsi drinkers, but im a Coca-Cola, a Coke man. so, of to Mikki D's i go... other than the drive for me, place is a 10. of course I'll be trying everything on this menu at one point. if ya want an asian comfort food then look no further. they also have a big ass parking lot which is important to my crippled butt. okies, I gotta get on my Hump-Day dumpling lunch. come visit, you won't be disappointed. eat well my frenz... read more
PSA: San Fernando Valley food nerds -- Bafang Dumpling has opened a location in Van Nuys across the street from Costco at the LA Fitness shopping center. Bafang Dumpling is currently in "soft opening" mode and open on New Years Day. Bafang Dumpling is a global dumpling fast casual chain founded in Taiwan. I have visited their City of Industry and Temple City locations and love their signature pot stickers at reasonable prices with no tip expected. Tonight, I ordered the combo with their signature spicy noodles and signature potstickers. Compared to my last visit to Bafang Dumpling in Temple City, I like how the potstickers are fried more more crisp at this new Van Nuys location. The signature noodles are slightly spicy and I enjoy the chew of the noodles. It's a fast food restaurant and it is bound to get crazy busy for their signature crisp potstickers at reasonable prices. The closest locations to the San Fernando Valley are in Gardena and Temple City. I am so happy they have opened a location in the Valley so I don't have to seek it out when I am in the San Gabriel Valley and focus on trying Chinese and Taiwanese restaurants that we don't have in the 818. The service is also consistently friendly and helpful at the counter while ordering. They will patiently answer your questions and offer recommendations. Second time coming here! This place always has customers every time I stop by. What I really love about this place is that the combos are such a good price! The first time I came here, I got combo #8. The old fashion noodles were delicious. I like my noodles a little chewier, and they were just that! The second time I came here, I got combo #3. The hot and sour soup could've had more flavor to it. The skin on the dumplings and potstickers were a little chewy. But the portions come at a good size and will leave you satisfied! Finally a dumpling place in the valley! We came on their Grand Opening day around 11 and it was packed but they were fully staffed and so so efficient! The staff was friendly and provided some good suggestions. The noodles and dumplings were a hit but the star of the show is the Soy Awesome drink. It reminds of a drink from Meet Fresh. I'm so so happy I don't have to drive to 626 area to get my fix! Prices are also super reasonable. Come before they raise them! read more
Signature noodle and steamed dumplings and potstickers are decent. Good additional variety to Asian food in the San Fernando Valley. I would not go out of my way to eat here but it's decent for quick Asian food. I had combo number 3 with hot and sour soup. Dumpling skin was a bit thick for me. Potstickers tasted better. The noodle was fine but missed lacks the umami flavor for me. read more

Stopped by the restaurant as I was out in the field for work, and it was a great choice! I tried the signature noodles and potstickers combination number 4, and they were sooo delicious. Never had a Taiwanese food this amazing before! The noodles were flavorful, not too salty, and chewy. The potstickers were delicious and crispy as well, perfectly cooked. Had to order a drink since I won't know when I'll come back to Van Nuys-- tried the Soy Awesome, and it was just what I like! Soy milk with red bean, grass jelly, egg pudding, and taro. Customized to be less cold and less sweet, enjoyed it to the last bit. The lady who served was very nice and accommodating. They have self-service station to add more sauce, chilli, and sesame oil. Also have a 10% student discount for those eligible. Overall, highly recommend this new place! read more

Ordered their sesame noodles earlier today on Saturday, Feb 14th, and found a fly at the bottom of the bowl. It was fully marinated in the noodle sauce. Absolutely disgusting. This is a health hazard. Do not go to the Bafang Dumpling in Van Nuys. They should be shut down for health code violations. read more
