Came here for dinner and I was so disappointed. Place was small and not crowded. We got combo #3 for $80 something. 1lbs of king crab legs and 3/4lbs of head off shrimp. I also added a pound of muscles. The bag came out and I was excited but as soon as I opened the bag and saw the king crab I already knew I was going to be disappointed. The crab was so rubbery and it had no flavor at all. The shrimp wasn't too bad but it was definitely overcooked a little. The shrimp tasted better than the crab. The corn was the only good thing in the bag. The muscle came in a different bag because they didn't put that order in. But the muscle was good. They didn't bring out no scissors or crab crackers for us. We had to ask them for it. This is the first place that I've been to where I had to ask for crackers and scissors. I would not come back again. Not worth my $80.

Food was ! Everything we ordered was delicious down to the salad dressing. Fried fish had perfect breading. Chicken strips were awesome. The Louisiana shrimp was delicious. Service was prompt and great ambience.

I came to BagOCrab on a Monday night and to my surprise there were a few people there. Just by this I knew it was good. The server gave us paper menus because the online menu doesn't work to send in orders. I ordered a pound of clams and a pound of shrimp with medium spice level and atomic sauce which is all of their spices. The server then comes with the bibs, lemons, salt and peppers, and gloves (which not many cajun places give out). I usually get a medium spice level when I go to places like this and this one was a bit spicier than I expected, so keep this in mind when ordering. I thought the shrimp was cooked perfectly and super easy to peel. It was a good price and delicious. Overall, I was pleased with my visit and will be visiting again very soon.

I have gone to this location previously and never noticed a problem. However, I ordered dinner to go last night thru the app. We ordered a pound each of the mussels, clams, and head on shrimp. When adding the mussels in the app, I indicated my choice of sauce and heat level. In the comment section, we requested an extra side of sauce, which we did get, However, they must have misunderstood because the mussels came with no sauce. That wasn't a big deal. What was quite concerning was that we can visibly see the amount of mussels in a "1lb" order.. the bag looked very scarce. We literally counted 13 mussels and even went as far as weighing it out on my digital scale. Now, I am fully aware that some weight is lost during the cooking process, but cmon! We got 10 Oz of mussels... at the those prices, we were definitely not happy about that. I didn't even bother to weigh the rest because they were covered in sauce, so who knows if they are weighed pur properly. We enjoyed our meal, and I get times are tough, but to skimp out on the orders is not ok. Lord knows how many orders dont get the full weight. I think we should be getting what we pay for. On a side note, if you like lemon wedges with your seafood like we do, request extra lemon wedges! We got 3 wedges for "3lbs" of food... smh.

Found this little gem after shopping at the outlets and surprisingly good. We ordered a crab/shrimp combo with cajun in mild. Being a 1st time here I played it safe on the seasoning. And guess what, it was yummy! Flavorful not just spiced up or covered in heat. Also ordered: garlic bread, side salad and rice. Located in a shopping plaza you'll easily find parking. Customer service and friendly AF. They also have discounts- the hostess will magically apply it to your bill. I gave it a 4 star because i thought the crab was tiny for a dungeons.

My son and I tried out the Bag O' Crab.. The restaurant was nice and clean as was the restroom. We were greeted by Johnnae big smile very welcoming. Johnnae took our order. My son ordered the garlic noodles and combo with musssels and crawfish. We were very comfortable with seafood in the bag. We are part time residence of Hawaii so no surprise there. My son does not like spicy food you are able to order hot to mild, he said it was perfect. The price matches the quality and quantity of the meal. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family. I really appreciate new restaurant in the area other than the fast food world of burger and fries. read more

Stopped in here on our way to Sebastopol!! What a delicious surprise!! We got Atomic Shrimp,& Cajun Fish lunch specials they both came with broccoli, steamed rice and coleslaw!! We also go the clam chowder, sweet potato fries, and the organic green salad. This little hole-in-the-wall is our favorite Cajun seafood place so far. We liked it so much, we came back a week later. We had the combo with king crab and shrimp. We added a pound of clams. The first time we had their atomic sauce, mild. The second time, we bumped up to medium and it was perfect! Their Cajun fries are also great. I ask for them well-done and they were perfect both times. We had a male server who provided great service both times. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. He was helped out by Xing the second time and she was also great. We'll be regulars here. Highly recommended! read more

The atomic sauce is by far the best. If you're looking for a lowkey place for some good king crab legs or fresh shrimp, this is the place to go. Highly comparable to Boiling Crab, maybe even better in my opinion. Best part about it, there's never a wait when I go. Always super tasty and hits the spot if you're craving cajun seafood. Super attentive staff at both locations too. 15/10 tbh would recommend. read more

So happy that everything we ate was really good and filling for 2 men and a lady. We ate combo #3 Cajun sauce adding a pound of headless shrimp, garlic bread, garlic noodles, and lemon pepper chicken wings. Cajun sauce was so generous, tasty & perfectly spicy satisfying all spice tolerance (I don't like too spicy). The corn was even cooked well. The chicken wing batter is so light & crunchy I want to try other flavors. Loving the garlic noodles--I'd order every visit. Can't wait to go back and try other sauces. Only complaint is crab legs not pre-cracked so messy to eat in restaurant & weren't given bibs. This was my first time (ordering for pick up) at this place. Rosa was amazing at assisting me w/recommendations based on my requests. My son picked up the food & the flavor was unbelievable. I felt the garlic noodles were a tiny bit overcooked but my boyfriend & son disagreed (it's all about your preference ‍). Overall, definitely a place I would recommend & revisit. read more

It's amazing fresh and good!! Always consistent with the Atomic sauce!!Yes when repairing any of your dishes here please always ask for separate bags. That's one recommendation that I do recommend at this restaurant. Spice level here is amazing if you really want it hot just go for it. But the atomic sauce is very tasty salty craving it makes you want more. I always order a lot of times here so I should get free crap LOL just saying but I recommend this place if you're in town and believe me I'm originally from Hawaii and I love seafood if I can eat it every day and afford it I would be here every day. read more

Apparently this food is ALL OF FIVE STARS DELICIOUSNESS!!! I don't eat seafood but my brother came over with a C2 Combo Bag O Crab and shared it with my husband. I overheard them both raving about how good the food was, and the flavor and the perfect amount of spice. The aroma was filling the house and they both continued to slurp and lick their fingers. Honestly they made a mess BUT Bag O Crab provided gloves, bibs, wipes and plenty of napkins. My brother wouldn't stop talking about what a great deal and value it was. Full of meatiness and just the right amount of corn and potatoes. (Some places give more fillers and less seafood.) Lets just say this place did not disappoint. Both my brother and husband finished very pleased with smiles on their faces. At the end of the meal my brother said "stupendous!" I've never heard him say that word. I had to write a review!!! The flavor was really good! We got atomic seasoning mild, and it was delicious. I loved the big chunks of garlic. The server was nice and, the food was good. My only complaint are the portions sizes. We always get the same thing each time going to these crab boil places. We always have extra to take home, but after eating everything we were still hungry and had nothing to take home. I know for a fact we didn't get a pound of shrimp. But luckily the food was good, and service was good. read more

I ordered the C1 which is Crawfish Mussels Corn potatoes and one sausage cut 4 times, not four sausages. I was really disappointed on that. All else was good EXCEPT for the gravy or some call it sauce. It was more like a uncooked rough. It was heavy extremely pasty. Absolutely no good to sop up with my French bread. You all might do better then myself, good luck but I'll have to pass on this place. read more

We found this place on Yelp on our way home from Sf and we're so glad we stopped! Don't be scared off by the location. First off we were greeted with such a friendly warm welcome. The service is fantastic!! The place is super clean too which is a plus. My husband got a pound of shrimp Cajun style and I got the king crab legs with butter and garlic. Both amazing but the Cajun seasoning is our favorite for sure!! This was not only a great meal but a fun experience too! We will definitely be be back! read more

Is give it a five if the $$$$$ were a little less. The first time we ordered crab for NewYears and it was warm and totally amazing. The second time I got a craving so got one for myself. It was not as fresh $40 for one crab is a bit of a killer. The sides could stand a facelift too! Welcoming atmosphere and vibe. Wife ordered one of the combos and enjoyed it. I got the lobster roll which was more so a lobster slaw. (Cold, mashy). Biggest issue was we were sat down and there was no line at all. Then people showed up for to go orders and got theirs placed before ours was even taken. Hopefully not the norm, will give it another go. read more

I also tried Double Crunch (a dry ramen rub) and Jala-Lujah (a smooooth jalapeño flavor). So if you're hesitant on what to order, definitely go for a half & half order of chicken wings. But if you're bold and ready to take on some traditional Korean cuisine, I highly recommend their Bibimbop. ALWAYS get a fried egg with it and do not forget to mix everything together! Because once you do, each bite is a mix of everything Bibimbop has to offer! Service was excellent. Welcoming and quick! The ambiance is fun! Good music with lot of fun things to take pics of or just look at. They even have propagated plants for sale, too! So plant parents, you might find your next plant baby here. The restaurant was expansive with lots of tables and different seating areas. Our servers were also great, changing our grill frequently. I asked if I could still change my order and pay the difference in cash, Safi changed my order and told me not to worry about the difference. We dined in, a few minutes later our food came with generous portions and absolutely delicious! We were also given orange slices and complimentary baklava. The baklava was so flaky and not soaked in syrup which, I like. I asked if they make their own baklava and was told that it's ordered from Sacramento to support another local business! I enjoyed the drink, and it tasted like they used real fruit rather than artificial syrups. I think the portions are a bit small, particularly in the case of the Hainanese Chicken, but it's nice that they served complimentary shrimp chips. It's hard to write this review as for I am not one to write reviews. However, I truly love the food and experience I've previously had at this establishment. It has taken me 3 days to write this given the confliction I held. I've been a long standing customer with The Bag of Crab. I've dined in several times since it opened last year. We've always had absolutley outstanding service by Ella and Rosa. Unfortunately, on Monday I had come in for a late lunch with a friend who I had been telling she had to try because the food and service was outstanding. We dined in and had a young Asian waitress (we were unable to get her name) I like to try new things each time I visit because it feels like an adventure, this was my friend's first time having Cajun style seafood cuisine. We had a couple of questions. The waitress was terribly rude and acted as if we were bothering her too much with the 2 questions we had, she rolled her eyes at us several times. I had a question regarding the Fish meal and my friend a question about the soft shell crab basket. Her responses were short, loud and unhelpful very very pushy to get us to order. Her actual service was not that bad but she seemed to be rushing us and very pushy to get us out. It was Memorial day but it wasn't so busy for her to be so pushy. This wasn't the worst part. She spoke atrociously loud using profanity regarding other diners not tipping her to her standard. It was very uncomfortable for my girlfriend and I and you could tell that her coworker was not pleased with the way she was speaking as well. If I do return for dine in I will request another server or refuse to dine in. I hate to give 2 stars to a place I love so dearly but 1 bad apple can ruin a perfectly healthy tree.
