My first visit to Bahama Breeze and we really enjoyed our lunch. We were greeted on arrival but had to wait due to decrease in staffing. I as a little surprised that the hostess wasn't a bit more accommodating as when we asked where we could wait to be seated (bar stools were open) she pointed to some low chairs shoved under a counter, we sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice. I'm a designated driver and he provided my club soda free of charge. We were seated in 15-20 min and had a lovely waitress, Ivanna. She was knowledgeable and friendly. She took our order and our food came out fresh and hot. They have a nice lunch menu. My salad was fresh, the vinaigrette dressing was light and refreshing, and my coconut shrimp were hot and cooked perfect. My friend said her seafood chowder was some of the best she had ever tasted. She really enjoyed her Cuban Sandwhich too. I will definitely return. There is a full bar, staff wore masks, there is also outdoor seating. read more

This was my first time eating at this establishment. I was very excited to finally try it out. The place did not meet my expectations. Upon first entering this establishment, I was immediately greeted by the hostess and was quickly seated. The restaurant was playing great music, and it was very clean. The waiter that I had was very sweet and attentive. The customer service and the ambiance of the place was really great. Which is why I'm giving this place 2/5 stars. The food was not great. I started with the conch fritters. They tasted okay. Nothing to brag about. I've never had conch fritters, so I was excited to try. I then ordered the jerk chicken with plantain, beans, and broccoli. Sadly, the broccoli was the only good thing on the plate. The beans were very watery, the bowl was filled primarily with liquid instead of beans. The plantain tasted good, it would be difficult to mess that up. But the chicken was.... DRY, flavorless, and did not remind me of jerk chicken at all. It was just unseasoned blackened dry chicken. I didn't finish the chicken, but instead decided to take it home. I didn't want to try and force myself to eat something that I didn't enjoy. And I didn't want to waste my money. So I intend to fix the chicken up at home. Tomorrow for lunch I will throw the chicken in a pan with some butter and jerk seasonings, then make wrap with the chicken. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant. It's not worth the money. I'm very upset that I now have to make this chicken taste good. It shouldn't be called "jerk" chicken, it's very misleading. And I'm not sure why the chicken is so dry. I'd recommend to the restaurant that they get a meat thermometer to test temp of the chicken. I will never be returning to this restaurant location nor to any of their other locations. read more

I've been to so many of these locations that I've lost count. I had no intention of doing a review until I received the best service I've had in a while. A young woman named Huyen was our waitress. Considering that it was Sunday and this place was packed to capacity, she was so quick, friendly and efficient that it left enough of an impression on me to leave a review. We never waited too long for our drinks and food. She never forget our small requests for condiments or silverware. She was just awesome! Also, there was live music near the bar and the singer did a fantastic job. The drinks were strong and I enjoyed the atmosphere waiting at the bar for a table. This place is busy but they don't let it affect their service time or the quality. A+ from me. read more

Great presentation outside of the the Wesley Chapel restaurant. The hostess desk very easy to find. There were two hostesses or greeters. One was working with a waitress, but the other was leaning down texting on her phone oblivious to us standing there, her colleague noticed and engaged beautifully with a welcome. Seated and greeted by a waitress who was so genuinely attentive. The support team for the table was also in sync (bringing food) and was attentive as well. Food presentation was great and received in a timely manner. Now the restaurant bathroom.... Umm, needed to be apart of the attention . It speaks volumes about making sure your House/restaurant is prepared for guest and the importance of being clean. This wasn't our first time here, and it won't be our last. We had the fire cracker shrimp and calamari to start along with a frozen bahamarita and virgin pineapple for drinks. As we sat outside we had bad weather coming in and our awesome server Paula helped move us inside. This location is usually crowded in weekends . It's pretty close to where I live . I like that you can sit outside and the sunset is beautiful later in the day . He didn't really recommend anything with jerk chicken in it even though that seems like their specialty. I did get the jerk chicken sandwich with the bbq sauce that comes with it AND the spicy sauce that typically comes with wings. It was Banging!! Very well cooked abd prepared. WOW!!! What an AMAZING dinner and experience we had tonight at our Bahama Breeze - Lutz/Wesley Chapel. After our experience the other day, we wanted to give it another shot, as we know the food and service are usually top notch. And tonight proved just that. Our server, Tyler S. was OUTSTANDING! He was upbeat, helpful & very attentive throughout our dinner. We always feel like the server really sets the tone for the whole meal and Tyler was "on the ball" and a great representative for Bahama Breeze! Great service all the way! And the food tonight was SPOT ON and DELICIOUS!! All the food came out exactly as ordered and within a very reasonable amount of time, especially considering it's Friday night and how busy the restaurant had become. We didn't want to wait for the table so we grabbed two seats by the bar. We ordered a firecracker shrimp appetizer, the salmon over salad, and steak. The food was made from fresh material. The portion was big. The flavor of the dish was okay. Service was excellent. There was a musician playing guitar and singing at the patio area. I liked this place specially for their strong management and their ambience. The food: They have what seems to be a good happy hour for drinks if you like frozen fruity slushy drinks, tasty but average. Chips and salsa was underwhelming, seemed to be a bunch of cut up tomatoes thrown in with some cilantro and onion and not enough chips. I had a chipotle chicken taco salad, which was pretty basic. I didn't taste the dressing which I would rather it not be drowned in dressing so that's ok. The service: Very friendly, everyone that helped us was great and attentive. Visited for lunch with some friends. The biggest thing that hit me about this new location is that it's missing the charm and location of Tampa's other, waterside spot. There's something off about a beachy vibe without a beach. Even on the patio, you've got fire pits and fans right next to parked cars :( Food was okay. We had the yucca cheese ball appetizer to start. Just okay - not the chess balls i expected (like you get at a Brazilian steakhouse). These were really more just like fried Mozarella balls. Kids had mini burgers and macaroni and cheese. I had the Jerk Chicken sandwich, which was pretty dry. I do really love the tomato salad offered as a side. Service was spotty - we had to explain to the server that tomato salad WAS, in fact, a side item choice. And he seemed slammed with a 3 table section. But, it was opening week, so imagine there's a learning curve there and he'll get the hang of it! Would I go back? Probably not. Meh. A group of 5 of us met for drinks on a Friday night. Sat on the patio in an enclosed area with an unlit fire pit. When all the tables were full it was quite loud, but otherwise nice to have a bit of outdoors to enjoy. I ordered the Ultimate Margarita. Nursed it for an hour but couldn't finish it-just not good. I'd recommend trying another of their cheaper options. I told the server it wasn't good and ordered a simple vodka drink that was better. Others in the group were drinking beer and wine. Prices were about what you'd expect and the selection was pretty good. Service was OK, but not great. The half drunk margarita was never cleared from the table and we had to flag down the server on a couple of occasions. I've been to other locations and they've been OK.
