TLDR; hidden gem! Chill, upscale atmosphere, outdoor seating, great food & wine! I've been here a few times now and always leave happy. Whether its for happy hour, or a dinner date, the space is beautiful for every thing. We came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago for a casual dinner. We were sat in the back at a spacious round booth near the DJ (who was extremely good). It is a large, family welcoming area, with more privacy in the back if desired. When its cooler out, they open the back bar to the outside and the string lights that decorate the patio are amazing. We both ordered Crios wine - the malbec & the cab and both were excellent. Their wine list is extensive, especially their reds, which pair beautifully with the meat. Their appetizers center around cheese boards, where you can mix and match your own. Fresh bread is brought to the table with a garlic herb butter that is lovely. We jumped right into dinner though and ordered the tuna steak (for me) and the picana steak (for him). The tuna steak was amazing - beautiful, creamy flavors, fresh, and cooked to perfection. A great seafood option in a steak restaurant, very impressive. The steak was delicious as well - tender, cooked to perfection, and served with a wonderful chimichurri. I would love to come back and try some different cuts. We ended with dessert, the panqueques. They were a little too sweet for us, as its basically caramel in a crepe, but still good. I plan on trying more of their fruit based desserts next time! Overall, a great place for a nice dinner or a date. We went for Father's Day lunch and had to swat flies the entire lunch. $40+ cost of steak. Unbelievable. The hostess was made aware of the issue and no one did anything about it. We swatted flies with one hand while we ate with the other and risked that flies will sit on our steaks when both hands were occupied with the steak knife and fork. My first visit to Baires Grill was very enjoyable time. We made reservation for a small group of 5. We were seated immediately upon arrival. There was live music playing in the background. The service greeted us warmly and had drinks on the table in short order. Our waiter was very attentive however his accent was very strong and some folks had a difficult time understanding him. I was fine with it myself. We started with a fried cheese and chorizo appetizer. Delicious. The group ordered a variety of dishes from skirt steaks, seared tuna with jasmine rice, gnocchi, and pasta bolognese. All of the dishes were cooked perfectly and delicious. For dessert we split an order of panqueques which is crepes filled with dulce de leche sauce and fresh ice cream and strawberry. The wine selection was good. The atmosphere was very relaxed and fun. One of the girls had a two month old baby with her and they sat us in a booth that would have been right next to the live band that started playing a little after 7. Thankfully we had already requested to move because the car seat did not fit. It would have been much too loud for him and we had no idea about the band. It would have been appreciated if the hostess had some forethought about that. Our server was not very helpful when we asked for recommendations. His response was "we are known for steak". I was just curious about which steak he would recommend but ended up deciding on the spare ribs on my own and they were very good. I do wish they had a Chimichurri sauce or something. There was not much seasoning on them. I ordered a salad as my side that was fresh and really decent sized but I also added a side of Truffle Fries that never came. Our server didn't come back to check on us until 2/3 of us were done eating so I never even got to remind him. Luckily, I wasn't charged for them. A true steakhouse. Walking into this restaurant the place was nice and modern. Loved the decorative theme. This was a birthday celebration for a friend and it was the perfect place. I love how this restaurant is tucked away in the plaza that it's located in. My entree was the angus skirt steak. I also ordered the caprese salad and sampled the crab cake from a friend. If you truly love a good steak, especially Argentinean style this is it!!!! I'm not the biggest meat eater but when I do eat meat I love a good steak and this was definitely a good steak... I'm not completely sure what cut my friends ate but it was sharable (I think flap steak) and they were really into it... like really!! I was a fan of the Lincoln Road location so when I heard that they were opening a Baires close to my house I was psyched. This used to be the old Baru in Weston so it is a pretty large place. The interior is very nice and classy, definitely a good spot to bring a date or just to have a nice dinner. Both times I have come her it was during lunch and it was not too full at all. The food here is great. The first time I came I went with the skirt steak salad and although it was pretty good I couldn't stop staring at all of the entranas they brought out to the other tables. The wife also enjoyed the Bosc Pear salad. The next time I came of course i went with the entrana with a side of creamed spinach. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was a pretty large cut of meat. I was hungry though and housed it like a champ. The Burrata and Proscuitto was also very delicious. Overall it definitely lives up to the original location and will definitely be coming back. read more

Food was good and so were the drinks, but the lack of attention to details and the service had a lot to be desired. When you order two porterhouse steaks (for two) that are not plated at the table, nor were they cut up into serve-able pieces, made us wonder what was going on. A steak for two that is self service, and at $140 a pop, one would expect better. When you go to a high end steakhouse in the NYC area, you would have the plate presented, pre-cut, and plated with samples of both cuts and the sides. We asked to have it cut up and got it back in four pieces. As a result, we needed to trim the four pieces into serve-able pieces. After we finished, myself and the other couple that ordered the porterhouse asked to have the remaining pieces packed up to take home. When the bag was brought back to the table, we asked where the other bag was. The server said the are both together... both plates combined. What was the thought process behind that? Then came dessert... our coffee was brought out, and only one of the three dessert orders came to the table. All of us finished our coffee, and two additional desserts still did not hit the table. We had to remind the server that the two desserts were never served. It seems that the staff was more locked in on the televised baseball game, as well as getting the bar glasses washed and hung to dry, than patrons that spent well over $800 at the bar and table. This could have been one of the nicest meals in the area, but it lacked the service. Recommendation to Marcelo... visit the tables, ask how everything is for your patrons, mention if there is anything you could do just ask. It would go a long way and probably eliminate the majority of problems. read more

My friend and I ordered steaks medium, the steaks came out and they were well done. I sent it back and it came back again over cooked , at this point I felt sorry for the waiter cause he was very nice but prices in this place are expensive and I feel you should get what you want for the money you pay, anyway I sent it back and it came back rare. I was looking for a steakhouse in the area for a date night during this crazy time. I came upon Baires and was impressed by the menu and the happy hour specials. We made reservations for 630 on a Friday and we were able to each snag a drink off the happy hour menu! I started with the 'Baja un cambio" which was super refreshing. We decided on beef carpaccio as an appetizer and it did not disappoint- very generous portion! Our server was beyond polite and courteous and he offered great opinions when we were torn between options. I was interested in a glass of malbec and he recommended the Pellereti which was an amazing find (we ran out and purchased a bottle the next day)! For the main course- I chose the filet mignon w/a mushroom cream sauce and my husband decided to go big and ordered the cowboy steak. Both were cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point! I am a nightmare when it comes to ordering cuts of meat and request medium Well- which typically leads to dry/overcooked entrees. This was nothing of the sort! It was juicy, flavorful and still cooked at my desired temperature- Definitely in my top 3 filets from south Florida! And my husband devoured his cowboy steak - I stole a bite and it was delicious. We finished w coffee and didn't save room for dessert - but we fell in love with this gem in Weston and will definitely return! Also to be noted- at the entrance there was a table with hand sanitizer. All servers wore masks. We requested to sit inside and there was ample space between tables- it was a perfect upscale date night experience close to home. Delicious restaurant that I just found fairly close to me. Their pichana steak melts in your mouth. I also ordered short rib. The short rib was a little chewy but it had a great taste and was cooked how I like. Was just expecting it to be a little more tender. The asparagus was perfect and the potatoes were good also. They could have used a little more butter and garlic for them but it was ok because added it home it's just a preference of mine! I tried this place for the first time the other day and the food was amazing. Frim the appetizers to the main dish, I thought everything tasted extremely good and for a good price. I did notice that there was 2 waiters but only one was actually going to the 4 tables that had customers. It took a while for my water to get refilled and I noticed that you had to actually ask for chimichurri sauce and they only gave you like a spoon filled.
