I was in the area for work and looked for a new spot to try. This was such a great find. Beautiful decor, top notch service, and delicious food. You can't ask for more. Our server Jose was awesome. He was very knowledgable about the menu and gave excellent suggestions. When it's my first time at a place and I ask the server what they suggest, nothing gets under my skin more than "I don't eat here" or "I don't know?" yet it happens VERY often. Jose was the complete opposite providing sincere and 10/10 suggestions from the starter all the way to the dessert. Appetizer - EMPANADAS, grilled. Beef (10/10), cheese and onion (8.5/10), and chicken (7/10). They were all great but the winner was the beef, hands down. It was packed with flavor. I'm pretty sure there were olives in there, which I typically hate, but I didn't mind them here. The cheese and onion empanadas were also really good. Chicken ones were okay. Each one was $4.50. Entree - MILA PROVOLETA Steak Milanesa. For those that haven't tried, milanesa's are thinly sliced meats (typically chicken or steak), breaded and has a tomato based sauce with melted cheese on top. Very similar to chicken parmesan. This was very good and flavorful. The cheese was a tad overdone and would have been perfect had it been a bit gooier. I'd still rate it a 9/10. I ordered it with the sautéed spinach which was killer, but probably not very healthy since it was drenched in melted cheese. No regrets. $24. Dessert - Dulce de leche molten cake. I am not usually too big on dessert but this one in particular made me fall in love with this place. It was magical. It's not super big so next time I definitely won't be sharing. The filling was out of this world and really was not over-the-top sweet.. which I was sort of expecting it to be. I cannot wait to come back specially to try this dessert again. (20/10). $10. We come here at least once or twice a month as Weston residents and typically had a good experience. However, do NOT come here on a holiday. We went in for Valentines Day and they gave us the "holiday" menu. As someone who has been to this restaurant many times, I can tell they jacked prices up on everything 20-25%! I even joked with the server about it and he said it was "management" decision. What an absolute insult to try and take advantage of a busier day especially for people like me that live nearby. We had a reservation for 7:30 and when we got there they made us wait 20 mins for our table. They escorted us to our outside table after we had requested being inside. Our waiter was mediocre-at best and in the MIDDLE of taking our tables order he began speaking with and TAKING ANOTHER tables order!! The house cocktails were yummy but our steaks were under cooked and pretty raw. My filet was definitely not worth the $42 as it was fatty and tendony and more than 50% not edible. So disappointing. I went to this restaurant and had a meal for two. The total bill was $170. When I looked at the bill, it had a gratuity added to it already which I found out according to Florida law they are allowed to do. But they are supposed to post it clearly on the menu. It was in very small fine print on the last page of the menu. And they are also supposed to notify you of the gratuity before you order, they did not do that. My service was subpar and to be honest did not deserve a decent tip whatsoever I had to flag down the waitress five times during my meal to get things that I had ordered and she did not bring to the table. I said I wanted the gratuity removed so that I can make my own decision and they refuse to do it. According to Florida law if I asked for it to be removed, they are supposed to remove it. The food in addition was subpar, I ordered medium rare, and I got a rare steak. And they claimed to have given me an 8 ounce filet mignon. I have worked in this food industry, what I had was not an 8 ounce fillet. I would say more along the lines of a 4 to 5 ounce fillet. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good service and good food. read more

I was very underwhelmed by my first time eating here. We were a big table celebrating a birthday. We asked for a pitcher of sangria and were told they don't do that but noticed a table next to us that had a pitcher. We questioned it and our server said ok he'll talk to a manager. Each cup was filled with so much ice and could barely taste any red wine mostly juice. I got the filet mignon it was not great but my side salad was tasty. Went for first time for lunch to see if I liked it, it had a nice ambiance, very friendly service, it had a few snags, the food was decent, $18.95 bucks as a lunch special, I had Picana steak and salad, the steak was a good size and cooked perfect for me, however the lack of salt and pepper was noticeable, the Cesar salad was ok not much zing like the outback Cesar salad,(fresh ground garlic makes outback spicy) the only choices for side were rice or salad, so low carbing meant another salad, this time it came with vinaigrette dressing ( pretty good). Then came the real negative, I couldn't eat the dessert and I was told I couldn't get a dessert to go. I thought that was silly, if I would have ordered dessert and taken a bite could I take it home? Silly rule. The meal was salad, main entree, dessert and soda, 18.95. I got shorted a dessert because I didn't want to eat it then. It's a pricey place, shouldn't have to eat all or leave it. We wanted something different and unique for a very special birthday. I asked a friend of mine for some recommendations. We checked out the few places she recommended about two weeks prior as we needed to see their outdoor seating. We decided on Baires Grill in Weston. The hostess Alyson was very sweet and showed us the outside seating. It was lovely and she said they could accommodate us and seat us wherever we were comfortable. From the time we walked in yesterday Alyson greeted us very warmly and til the time we left, everything was perfect! Again, I want to say they were extremely accommodating and welcoming. The weather was a little hot as we went midday. Without us saying anything they moved us to a different table and brought out a fan. They told us they used to have ceiling fans but when they re-did the outside the fans were not reinstalled. The food was absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. The food was well timed between the appetizer, main course and dessert. Our water glasses were refilled without having to ask. Carolina was our server. She was attentive without being overbearing. The wait staff were wonderful as well. We started with Caprese salads. For our main course we all ended up ordering the Branzino. The sides we chose consisted of baked potato, creamed spinach and Jasmine rice. For dessert we had the classic Flan (complimentary), Almendrado, the Panqueques, cappuccino and espresso which were served with biscotti, that is made by an Argentinian bakery. We were traveling home to Jacksonville from the Florida Keys and wanted to meet our son near his office in Weston. I relied on Yelp reviews as he has only lived there a short time and doesn't dine out often. The reviews convinced me this was the best spot despite the fact that I am a vegetarian. The other three people in the party are all meat eaters so here we went. The restaurant is very nice and comfortable though it was so cold inside. We were warmly greeted with our confirmed reservation. We had a great experience but I failed to take any photos. It was my birthday and I was enjoying the meal and company, but please go here. They offered us a lunch menu, a full dinner menu, a menu with four courses for a discount AND a happy hour menu. This was very confusing and took up a lot of landscape on our table. Simplify these menus please. We ordered four empanadas to start with three containing beef or chicken and one spinach one. All were excellent! We also ordered the grilled cheese with prosciutto. We had them bring the meat on the side. This was really good but was overpriced in my opinion. They also served us a nice bread basket with bread and dipping sauces. One person had the cheeseburger and fries , one had the chicken pasta and one had the chicken Milanese. Everyone loved it. I had so much food in the appetizers, I chose not to order an entree. We had reservations for Father's Day dinner at 6:30. We were seated right away in the back corner round table near the windows with lake view. Very pretty table for 6 people. Our server was friendly but seemed to be busy with a table outside several other tables. We never got the welcome bread for the table that we saw other tables get. We ordered some cocktails and appetizers. One of the appetizers didn't come until minutes before the dinner, after several times mentioning it. We were being rushed to finish with your appetizer plates so they can place down the entrees. We ordered a nice bottle of Malbec that everyone loved to enjoy with their steaks. Our steak was cooked more on the medium side than what we ordered which was medium rare. I would have enjoyed it more had it been cooked right. The Picanha was cooked perfectly. Checked out the Baires grill Weston location on a Sunday for lunch and was not disappointed. They specialized in meats, but we tried different items and they all turned out great. The gnocchi were a must try for me as they were made of butternut squash and the sauce was a mix of blue cheese, wine and caramelized figs. It was a total success for me, but it may be too sweet for some people. Personally, I loved it and will def order again! The tuna came perfectly seared with mashed potatoes, and the skirt steak was a tad bit over cooked for medium rare, but was still tasty and good quality meat. After studying for long hours because it is midterm week for me, my mom told me to pick somewhere to eat that has steak. So I browsed on Yelp, to find the closest steakhouse. Behold, I came upon Baires Grill... and it blew me away. In other words, amazing restaurant... True Argentinian food for sure!!! Once, we got there, parking was not difficult to find. There was a sign that said, "Happy Hour, Monday-Friday @12pm-7pm: Drinks 50%Off On Drinks"...immediately it put a smile on my face. The lovely hostess, greeted my mother and I. She told us because the place was not packed, that we could sit anywhere we like. They have inside and outside seating. My mom and I chose a booth inside that was like private bubble. We had three waiters, but the main waiter we had was Fabio; he was very sweet and a gentleman. Of course the other waiters were sweet and gentlemen.2nd waiter made sure our glass of water was never empty. In addityion, when my mom said "thank you" as he poured the water, he said "you're welcome" and did the same for me. Sometimes I would encounter waiters/waitress that just say thank you to my mom. In other words, the 2nd waiter acknowledge me and said, "you're welcome". As for the 3rd waiter, he served us our food and told me I got his favorite dish (Baires Steak Salad). :) The atmosphere there was beautiful. I loved how the they even dimmed the lights later on, making it feel cozy. I could not help, but notice how ALL the tables had a hand sanitizer bottle. The best thing from our meal was the bottle of wine and the great service from the bartenders, as we sat at the bar. We ordered the parrillada for two and our steaks medium. ALL of the steak on the parrillada came out so raw (should've taken a picture) and bloody that my husband and I both lost our appetites. We sent it back to get re-cooked but by the time it came back, there was absolutely no recovery. We went for the chicken in the parrillada, but that was so OVER cooked it was like biting into a shoe. We tried ordering dessert to at least somewhat salvage our $200 date night, but for Christ sakes even the churros we're all raw dough inside. We even thought that maybe they we're stuffed with cheese and asked the waiter; but nope...they were all raw dough!!! The atmosphere and service was nice, but the food unfortunately was an EPIC disaster. We're not ones to complain and get our food refunded, as we honestly felt bad for the wait staff..,but If you're in the area, you're better off getting a steak at Aqualina (an Italian restaurant ) one plaza over for 1/2 the price. We should've gone there instead! We also should've read Open table as 3 days ago someone had the same issue, so maybe the same cook. First time dining at this restaurant, staff was very attentive and friendly, we met up with friends we had not seen in a while. Our drinks came quickly, nice Norton house wine that paired very well with my delicious creamy gnocchis, my husband ordered the short ribs, and friends ordered the ravioli and prosciutto plate, All in all everything was good my husband's ribs were a little bit on the tough side but still flavorful and my friends loved their dishes. The only reason why I didn't give five stars is because throughout the entire dinner we kept having to fan away the tiny gnats which were a bit annoying.
