Spoke w Carlos A., one of the service techs, explained the issue, he saw my after market rims and said "It's the rims". I explained I had rebalanced the rims three times recently, didn't matter, "It's the rims". Since he refused to even consider my concern, I left, MAD. Took the car to Katy Nissan, explained again. Just spoke w Service, turns out the front control arm bushings are separating and need repair. Carlos dismissed my concerns as "It's the rims" and treated me like I was an idiot. What to say I have bought 5 NV200 van for my company at this dealership and when I get them serviced they what a arm and a leg I have a 100000 mile 5yr warranty that apparently is worthless I mean everything I come in for seems it's not covered like an air bag sensor over $1000 not covered safety item. Brakes making noise from time we bought it on one but every time we brought it in they couldn't duplicate it so they couldn't fix it after 20k miles though they say I need all new brakes machine the rotors cost 1500.00 I said no thanks and went to a another mechanic and got all new brake pads and new rotors for only 550 bucks. But should not of paid anything as this was something wrong with the vehicle brand-new it has not made that noise cents replacement. And brakes have over 20,000 on them now with no problems and still do not need replaced again. read more

Baker Nissan has to be the worst car dealership I have ever tried to do business with. I was In the market for a new Nissan Murano and I had put an inquiry on one at Baker and got a call from a salesperson named Jeremy. I agreed to meet him and see the car and take it for a test drive after work since the dealer isn't far from my work. I am married but I work with animals everyday so I don't wear my rings on a day to day basis because I don't want to risk damaging them. This day was no different. I made it to the dealer met Jeremy and we looked at the Murano and test drove it. After that we sat down and talked numbers. But instead of talking numbers Jeremy was asking if I was single. My answer:no I'm happily married. He then questioned why I wasn't wearing my rings. I gave the explanation above. He still wasn't convinced and kept hitting on me. At that point my numbers were already done being discussed and it was a very uncomfortable waiting game thy just went even more down hill. The sales manager then came over. I forgot his name unfortunately. The sales manager proceeded to once again question my marriage, why I wasn't wearing a ring etc. We finally got back to numbers and sales manager asked if there would be a co-signer or if I was in the military. I said no my grandfather was but he passed away. This man proceeds to ask me if my DEAD GRANDFATHER could co-sign! I was done after that. I had been hit on after repeatedly telling people I was married, harassed and then the audacity of disrespecting my deceased loved one. My time had been wasted. That night I got home and emailed Bob Baker my experience and he emailed back saying he would take care of the situation. So the saying goes fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me right? Let's fast forward to this week. A few days ago I get a call from a number I don't know and answer. It's a salesperson from Baker. His name is Austin. I tell him my experience from before and tell him I'm not really interested in buying from Baker. He says he will make sure I have a great experience and he's not like the people from before. I say ok sure but here are my expectations and I'm not swaying from them. I'm at a firm price and firm on my trade. He says no problem I'll work on and get back to you. Today Austin calls and leaves me a message saying he has good news. I message him and ask what is it. He says I can get "top dollar" for your trade and your payment will be guaranteed under $$$ amount. I'm thinking ok they had my information from before, they know what I expect, they must feel pretty damn bad about how I was treated at first, sure I'll give them a second chance. Austin said pick out the one you like online and I'll get the deal done before your here. I pick the one I want and send him the stock ID. I told him I wasn't going to waste my time so when I get to the dealer, they have one hour to make this happen. I drive an hour in traffic to get there. I walk in to 2 women up front (one large and one with glasses) no hello, no greeting, just "you here for plates" so I immediately have a bad feeling. Austin greets me and shows me the car. No need to test drive because at this point I've driven about 3 Muranos. So after 44 minutes of giving the same information I had 2 weeks ago and "working really hard" Austin comes to me with a payment almost 300 dollars higher than what he guaranteed me in the text message. I even showed him his own message and he said well I'm not a mathematician. Then he comes at me with an appraisal for my car that is 500 dollars less than 2 weeks ago. I said get my keys and I'm leaving. Icing on the cake? They lose the keys to my car. Third chance? Definitely not. I advise everyone to stay away from this dealer. They don't value your time and if your female, just prepare to be looked at as an object and talked down to. There's nothing a canned response from the dealer or anyone could say to me to make me go back. I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to buy a car from these smarmy salespeople. read more

Baker Nissan was my first stop in looking at a new-to-me Rogue to purchase, after having searched all available options with my desired feature set within a 500 mile radius. Baker was the only one with a 2017 model with the features I was interested in, and while the price was a little above my budget, I figured it was worth looking at anyway. The person I'd made my appointment with, Patty, was actually on vacation, so I was handed over to Ruben instead. When he introduced himself, I didn't understand anything he said. It took me a moment to realize he was speaking rapid-fire Spanish. All of my communications with Patty had been in English, so I have no idea why he thought I knew Spanish. My smattering of high school stuff long ago is no match for a native speaker. It was an odd start to things, but once we got it straightened out, we got to discussing the Rogue and looking at it. First he had to find the key, and then he had to find the Rogue itself. He led me to the used car area, even though I had an appointment so the dealership had already put it in their special holding area with my name on it. I would have thought he would have known that would have happened from the offset. And as they only had one or two other Caspian Blue SUV style vehicles, it should have been pretty easy to spot. Still, with it found, we had a nice enough test drive. Overall I liked the vehicle well enough and we sat down to discuss the price. Here the experience went from okay enough to just annoying and extremely off-putting. As we discussed the price and I noted comparable vehicles with lower prices, including a one year older Rogue with the exact same trim and premium package and less miles. Ruben then proceeded to outright lie to me and tell me they didn't have the same features and that the 2016 wouldn't have any of the stuff I really wanted. In trying to convince me to pay $6,000 more for the 2017, and a price well above its actual book value, he dismissed all pricing reports from KBB, Edmunds, CarFax, and the like as "people who don't actually sell cars and inaccurate". He also proceeded to try to convince me that a 2016 SV base model they had on the lot was the same as the 2016 SL with Premium package I'd mentioned, even though he'd looked it up online himself! Then tried to use the same lower end model to point out how inferior it was to the 2017. It was grossly insulting to my intelligence and really to the Rogue itself. Does he view Nissan's vehicles as being crap before 2017? Because it is how his argument came out. Even his arguments for why the 2017 were better seemed more designed to appeal to a "silly female" than a person who'd already noted how much research she'd done, the 50+ Rogues she'd made notes on, and me as a relatively intelligent human being. For example, beyond outright saying women liked the style better, he kept focusing on how the grill was prettier, the wheels were prettier, and that by fact it was newer meant it was better. Suffice to say, I walked away feeling discouraged and dreading the rest of my car buying experience. Fortunately, I had a much better experience at the next dealership and was able to purchase a 2015 Rogue SL with similar mileage, much better price, and go figure - all the exact features I'd noted as wanting in the 2017... read more

aunts nissan had a recall regarding the key. vehicle was out of town so i had to take time off, get the vehicle, etc. not a particularly easy task. confirmed with service advisor that i had to bring the vehicle in along with the keys. lo and behold, nope didnt need the vehicle and the only "repair" was to put a spacer on the key fob so it could no longer be closed; and most customers didnt even want that. seriously?! someone could have told me this before going to all the hassle involved in bringing the car to the shop. if an advisor doesnt know what a recall repair entails then find out - it is your job to know. I am very displeased with this dealership. I haven't even had my car a year yet and it's been to the shop at least 4 times already. I was sold a car that wasn't fully examined and within the first month I had to take it back to the dealership for transmission issues. Shawn was extremely rude and sexist towards me and tried to bring me my car back with a check engine light on like he couldn't see that and knowing I didn't even bring it in like that. After the third and fourth time bringing it back to be fixed for wiring issues I directly spoke to the manager and he said he would personally make sure it was done right. I haven't had good service since I bought my 2019 Nissan Titan Rocky Ridge package. I've called your service department several times (left voicemails) without having my calls returned. In January I called because I've had an ongoing issue with my running boards. My running boards were stuck in the down position, and I needed them serviced, and left 3 voicemails to different service writers. Nobody ever called me back, so I had to buy new running boards which was over $2,000. I called last week and still haven't had my call returned. Salesman (Fernando) seem to lack integrity, which is really sad because the owner is decent. I mistakenly went to Baker Nissan today to complete my lease buyout. I had been in communication with David at Mossy Nissan since July regarding my buyout and received a call from Baker, so I mixed up the 2 dealerships. When I arrived and asked for David, a different David started attending to me. Then, David from Mossy messaged me and I realized that I had made a mistake. When I realized that I had made a mistake and decided to honor my word to David from Mossy, Fernando began explaining that if I do the transaction at another Nissan dealer, I would have to pay extra fees to 'ground' the vehicle and that it would not work out for me. I called Mossy and was told that there were no additional fees, so I asked Fernando again if this were true. He went on to say that additional fees would definitely be added and that I would be wasting my time driving over to Mossy. I decided to leave anyway, after they had looked under my hood and done the appraisal. On my way to the other dealership, my car completely stopped working when I stopped for gas about 2 miles down the road. Weird right? I called the Baker towing number and the tow company quoted $60 to try jumpstarting the car. Then, when I said I am going to take my car to Mossy, the price suddenly increased to $85! Thankfully, the wonderful David Suba from Mossy had taken the time out of his day to drive to the gas station to make sure I was okay and paid the $85 for the jump for the battery. He even brought me a Starbucks coffee! We asked what the customary fee for just jumpstarting a car would cost, and the tow truck driver said that since he was dispatched through Baker Nissan, his dispatcher said that we would have to be charged $85 instead of $60 (which is still high for a jump start). I understand that they would be losing a sale, but lying and attempting to strongarm a customer to do something that they do not wish to do is simply not okay. He almost suggested that I was stupid for going elsewhere. That's not how to gain customers. I was escorted to Mossy where I was treated with respect. Bought a car in 2015 and the whole thing went ok. There was nothing special about it. Shortly after in Jan and Feb of 2015 I was in an accident and had to take my vehicle in to the body shop. My whole ordeal was about as bad as can be from stat to finish. They did a terrible job, and took very long to get things done. It is now August and I am still having problems with my vehicle, but I have decided to get things done elsewhere because honestly, they do not care about their customers here at BJ Nissan. I sent in a complaint to the GM and he did respond once, but never again to see if things were up to par. I can say with ease that as a lifelong Nissan owner, I will never go back here for anything else in my lifetime, and I will make sure others that I know, won't either. read more

He treated me like a nuisance and I was getting on his nerves. When I'm spending my money in a dealership the least I expect is good customer service. They sold me a faulty 2013 Pathfinder where are the AC didn't work and had roaches in the vehicle. When I told them about the bugs they acted like I was lying because it was a sales managers personal vehicle. William tried to scam me out of my tax savings by trying to get me to sell my car instead of trading it in. "I won't make any money if you trade your car in. But if you sell it I'll get $300 after the deal is done,". This would've cost me $1800 but he was worried about his $300. Beware of this dealership they are scammers! From top to bottom this company is a complete joke!! 1. Sales - I went to purchase a certified pre-owned nissan altima for my wife in September 2018. Since my wife was a previous altima owner she had no reason to look elsewhere for a new vehicle. We decided to visit Baker Nissan and we found a vehicle that we liked. It started with the salesman Kene Abiakam. I told him we wanted a 2018 certified altima because we didn't want a car that was in a wreck or not warrantied. He presented the car that we like and assured us that there was no need to obtain our free carfax because Baker Nissan would never be able to sale a car CERTIFIED that had been in a wreck. Needless to say we purchased the car and drove it home. The next day I noticed the cars fog light was out and a piece of the side mirror was missing, this is where all the fun starts. 2. Pre-Owned Sales Manager- When I came across these issues the next day I immediately took it to the Baker nissan and my salesman Kene Abiakam. Kene and I had a heated conversation about the car and his lack integrity in the front parking lot. He immediately says i will have to talk to the sales manager named Shawn Kennedy. While waiting 20 minutes I decided to walk to the area where Shawn and Kene are having a conversation about my vehicle and at this point i hear Shawn say "Watch me put this guy in his place" he didn't know that i heard that but i did. They lied about the car not being in a accident until i opened the hood and showed them the proof. 3. After the proof of dented side panel braces and unpainted new screws the conversation had become more pleasant for me and back petaling started for them. The car had been repainted to conceal a wreck more severe than they had said it had. They then decided to fix the cracked mirror housing, busted fog lamp and repaint the vehicle due to a horrible paint job by their collision center during the repairs to make it certified ready. 4. Collision center - HORRIBLE!!! They ruined the chrome trim on the driver side door while buffing the vehicle and now i can see a distinctive line on the top of the vehicle where they had taped off the vehicle for over spray. Idiots only taped half of the vehicle. Should have been a 2 day project but turned into 4 days with absolutely no loaner vehicle offered. 5. Service - My driver side fog light was replaced during the concealing of the wreck the car had been in prior to my purchasing but it was replaced with the wrong fog light. I only knew because the car has daytime running lights that at incorporated with the fog lamp and this replacement one didn't have that option. That owned up to it and replaced it. Miguel Cantos was the first service tech to notice the obvious errors in replacing the light and exchanged it with the correct for lamp the next day. I felt good about the situation at this point but that soon came to an end. The same drivers side fog lamp/daytime running lamp has had condensation in the fog lamp and I have had it in 2 additional times and each time the car has been in the shop for a whole day. 6. Service - Felipe called me today after having the car in their shop yesterday afternoon and all day today that Baker Nissan and nissan will have nothing to due to repair the condensation in the fog lamp. Don't your waste your time on this company if you value your time and money. I have filed a consumer complaint with nissan one and will never recommend this company or nissan. This is exactly why i tried to convince my wife to by a FORD! read more

I come here all the time for my oil change only because my warranty covers it or else I would not come here. The salesman tend to be unprofessional and the mechanics will try to convince you to spend money on things that they have not even checked. This has happened to me already multiple times with me complaining already. They are also messy with their work they will leave things scattered inside the hood. The absolute worst service I have experienced in my 55 years. They sell you on the lie that a loaner is provided when your vehicle is being serviced, don't fall for this. What's worse is I have a premium extended warranty and they still fight the loaner. Brought my Armada in 2 weeks ago today at 8am, come 4:30pm was told they needed to keep it until Monday but could not give me a loaner because it needed to be approved by Nissan and Nissan was closed. Picked up my vehicle with the understanding that the part would be ordered Monday AM and we would have approval from Nissan. Fast Forward to Thursday, part was finally ordered. Friday came and with multiple calls I was told the part would arrive the following Thursday the 11th. Through text message my adviser said to drop it off Friday am and it would be 3 hours to repair. Dropped it off at 8am, It is now 2pm and I am being told it will be 6pm but they are not sure if the part will fix the problem. All this could have been avoided if they would have provided me the loaner that my warranty is supposed to provide. read more

I went to Baker Nissan after my car was involved in an accident. They were very professional about explaining everything and helping me get a rental car. My car was fixed in a very fast and timely manor. I was pleased with the outcome of my flex. Would definitely recommend the collision center to any of my family or friends. read more

Shady dealer. Their dealer mark up is outrageous. Wanted $16,800 for a Versa with no power windows, power mirrors and no a/c. This was the base 1.6 sedan that is $10,500 on Nissan's website. After back and fourth negotiation they finally came to term and agreed to sell us a 1.8 hatchback S for $16,800. (Nissan has it marked at $14,380 so we took that $2,500 hit). I guess they tried to get us at the financing. The financier, Asian guy, would not let us leave or say no to the service protection plan. The service protection plan isn't even a good deal, it brought the car to $24,000 after TTL. He showed me the money he makes on the insurance after I called him out on it. Even though it is true by his words, "we all gotta eat." but this guy is malicious. He pulled up a previous closed deal to brag about how he loves then antelope that welcomes the kill. Showed me a Murano that he sold for $10,000 over MSRP plus the full extended warranty on top of 8.9% apr for 72 months. He just grinned and showed no remorse about the deal stating he loves easy targets again. So in short I would not come back here ever, not even to buy parts for my 350z. I rather go to Sterling McCall Nissan where I am not treated as a target. I started going to Sterling McCall so much all of my car club friends started going down there too to buy parts. I'm definitely not going to do business with someone who think I'm just a prey. Have some sales ethics and integrity at least. read more

One of the reason to buy a used car from a dealer is the car is fully inspected to be in good condition and the buyer gets fully informed if any issues with a car. Also dealer is trusted instead of buying from some third party who wants to sell his broken car to you and vanishes after you buy. This place is not trustworthy. You don't want to buy car from this dealer and land up in troubles the second day. Better to buy from third part and pay less. STAY AWAY ! read more
