When I go to the IE, I have to eat at Bakers. This place drives me crazy with how good the food is. I wish they would put a Bakers in the OC. This place is superb as far as service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and fresh fast food. They have a wide variety of meals to choose from such as breakfast burritos, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, and even vegetarian food. Many of their popular foods are listed under the Papa/Mama combos. I love just about everything here, but my favorite would have to be the ground beef tacos. I recommend getting the #3 Mama meal with (2) Original ground beef tacos, fries, and 20oz drink. My choice of drink is their Cherry Sprite soda which is so good. Unfortunately, they charge $0.25 cents for refills here unless you get the Papa meals which comes with a 32oz drink. Also, I love their taco sauces and spicy ketchup. They have great specials on their food daily, so I suggest asking the cashier before you place your order to get the most out of your meal while saving money. Start off by trying those good ground beef tacos which are $0.99 cents on Tuesdays. I recommend stopping by here when you want some good fast food as they are located everywhere in the IE. read more

It's take/ entirely too long to get through the drive thru, I spend my entire lunch waiting to order and by time I get back it's over and I wasted my money. Maybe staff more people during peak? OR cook ahead of time and not to order so we don't have to wait OVER 5 mins per car. 5 cars (which isn't a lot) literally takes 25 mins imagine what car #6 is experiencing. I don't know why things that aren't broken get fixed but Baker's has lost me as a customer. Stopping at Baker's was something my wife and I looked forward to. No this isn't a fancy place it's a fast food place but the shredded beef they had on the menu forever was really good. The beef had so much flavor and it was tender. Now when I came on this last visit, I noticed they replaced the shredded beef with beef barbacoa. I asked the lady who took my order what happened to the shredded beef and she said they decided to improve it. UGH. I had a barbacoa burrito that didn't taste anything like the shredded beef they once had. The meat was not only different colors but very fatty. My burrito was soaking wet and hard to eat without getting a mess everywhere. The girl who took my order was rushing us customers through and it seemed like we were bothering her being there. My family and I visit this bakers location very often and have had nothing but great food and service, however this evening I went through the drive thru to grab dinner for my family, got home bit into my California chicken burrito only to find a long black hair in it. Dinner was ruined, I thought bakers employees always wear hair nets and are very clean with their processes. I might be thinking twice about visiting this location next time. Won't be coming here anymore. I don't live in this area so I don't come here often.. but the last 3 times I went the dining room was closed.. At 5pm on a Saturday!! All 3 times I asked why the dining room was closed and they claimed it was because they are short-staffed. This is complete BS. There's no way they have been "short-staffed" on all 3 of my visits because they were months apart. On my last visit when we got our food at the window I asked if my wife could at least run inside and use the restroom really quick because we had a long drive home.. the lady just said "Sorry the dining room is closed" then shut the window. I counted 4 people behind the counter and none of them looked like they were the cook. I honestly feel that these kids are just being lazy and locking the doors so they don't have to juggle orders in the dining room, clean it later, etc.. just a bunch of lazy teenagers.. There's plenty of better choices in this area to eat and if I really wanted to wait in a long drive-thru line I'd go to In N Out or Chic Fil A where the food is worth it. read more

I love this Bakers! Their food is always delicious and the staff is very helpful and friendly! They have great choices for vegans like myself by offering an extensive vegetarian menu--I just ask them to hold the cheese. Aphrodite I believe is the name of the girl that took our order, brought out our food, and took our tray when we were finished the last time I went in. She was so friendly and she didn't act like she hates her life like other fast food workers do. She is obviously an excellent employee. My mom has been going to bakers since she was a child and I've been going since I can remember as well. It's a special treat for our family. It's not fancy just yummy fast food. My mom enjoys their taco burger. I always their the budget meal grilled cheese or their caribbean chicken sandwich. I love their fries when they are hot. I love Baker's because they have vegetarian options and they're always fresh. This Baker's is quick, friendly, and doesn't skimp on sauces when you ask. However, there have been multiple occasions where we get the wrong items. They always correct the order. It's just a hassle to drive all the way back for a second time. Oh.... we like Bakers but today, Mother's Day. There are literally 3 people eating in restaurant... that was good news for us, but every table was dirty. Cory stood at the register just pushing buttons. We stood there while he looked at us. I asked him are you ready to take our order and he just starred at me. I love their lemon berry lemonade. Everyone is always very nice when you go into the store. They greet you with a warm hello and have personalized service.
