I really like bakers but was disappointed when I came through the drive-thru for breakfast this morning and there was no one answering. All the lights inside were on, staff were inside and there sign read open. It was terribly disappointing. I still like their food options but if as far as service, thumbs down. Everyone who works at this Baker's is really nice. I go a few times a week because my dad and my son are obsessed with the food. They've never messed up my order, they're always polite, and there's been a few times they have made things into a combo for me so they're cheaper. Bakers is so good. It has all the the taste of In N Out and all the variety of Del Taco. This location is never that busy and it tastes so good. Im kinda surprised it is still open because it is never too busy. But that just works out for me because it is so good and never busy. The people here have always been friendly to me too. If I could give them 0 stars I would...that's how horrible my first experience with Baker's Drive-Thru was. Got home and realized that I didn't receive my full order and I didn't get the extras on my burger that I paid for. Called the 909-884-5233 customer service number and the answering service....gave them my information and no one has returned my call. Decided to return to the location next day to speak with a manager and was told that they couldn't get my food let alone my money back and that I would have to speak with customer service. I have called customer service back to back for the last 30 minutes and still no one gas picked up. I know it's only $4 but it's mine and it wasn't a donation. Either give me my food or give me my money. This was a truly disappointing experience and I won't step foot in another Bakers in life. read more

I know that the company was restructured a few years back when Mrs. Baker passed. The remaining descendants hired an outside company to come in and run the company. That being said I've noticed a huge nose dive in quality of food and service. The ground beef in the Mexican items taste old and is always over greasy. The tortillas in the burrito are always tattered and full of holes therefore resulting in a burrito that's a leaky mess as soon as you unwrap it. I hope eventually the company reassess their decision to allow the new executives to ruin their quality products and go back to basics. On Taco Tuesdays I like to stop here to revisit my youth. No, I never went to Baker's when I was a kid, but their tacos remind me of the classic Southern-California-style taco that I devoured when my appetite was larger and waistline smaller. These aren't authentic tacos, obviously; they're made up of spiced ground beef loaded into a hard shell tortilla, topped with lettuce, cheese, and a small slice of tomato. The hot sauce completes the fountain-of-youth trick: with it, the tacos remind me of Naugles and Pup N Taco from back in the day. I've had their burgers, fries, and burritos, all of which are A-OK fast food. For me, though, it's all about the 99-cent Taco Tuesdays that take me back in time. read more

Absolutely disgusted and upset with this service. Ordered 30$ worth of food. It was an UberEats order, (bags were sealed) when we opened the first burger, it had a big white strand of hair in it. As greasy, fatty, awful fast food goes, this stuff tastes pretty great. Their double-double burger is really tasty, and the prices are pretty cheap. This is basically a great place to go if you are too impatient to drive the four minutes to the in-n-out up the street. I am always mildly troubled by the fact that as I plow through several of these burgers, that they just don't taste like other burgers. They honestly don't really taste like burgers at all, and are instead some weird sausage/processed meat product hybrid that is a salt-filled vessel to carry poison into your body. I used to be able to put down just about anything and not think twice, but my girlfriend has me eating healthy these days, so this stuff passes through my system at about eighty miles per hour, like a horrible pain-ridden intestinal waterslide on crack, making it a bad move if you are going to spend any length of time with people who care about the air quality in your immediate vicinity. It is pretty brutal. Definitely not date food. Nonetheless, if you are short on time, and you just want something cheap that tastes good, this stuff fits the bill, even if you are probably eating equal parts beef, pork, pigeon, and cat, under crisp lettuce and deliciously fried onions. Just try not to make eye contact with yourself in any mirrors, and be sure to spologize to your heart before it explodes. Four stars. read more

Used to be place for good food at decent prices. Now, a refill on fountain drinks is $.25! Really? A $.15 cup of soda costs $1.79. That's common but another quarter for a refill. My cup was full of ice and barely got enough soda to help with refreshing me after eating. No senior discount... I got here and there was no cashier taking orders. Finally someone started taking orders. I got in line and waited over 5 min. Just to have the cashier take 2 different orders then tell me to wait because she had to serve the drinks from the previous orders. I could see a female in the background which I can only assume is the owner or manager as she was in regular clothes just walking around as more people kept getting in line to have their order taken. We were looking for some place cheap and my family from up here is known for going to Baker's. Their food is really cheap and the quality is excellent. Oh no. I came to this place for the first time today (per the suggestion of a friend who grew up eating Baker's). Not knowing what to expect, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The fries were crispy and delicious, the burger was perfectly juicy and carefully assembled, and the taco was so good with the hot sauce. I washed it all down with a root beer. $6 well spent. The "oh no" is due to the fact that it's so close to my apartment. I can already see myself getting addicted to this place... These place has pretty good burgers. They have a very good vegetarian menu. Their Boca burgers are bomb. A lot of flavor you can't tell is vegetarian. BRC burrito are big have have good flavor. Bakers is a classic for me. Kinda got through college eating it frequently and weirdly never got sick of it. People usually go for Jack, but when I'm faded, Baker is the place to be. Kinda a simple guy and go for the same thing every time so I highly recommend the crunchy tacos and the burger. I think bakers burger is better than In N Out. Yup, I said it. The tacos too are better than any Americanized taco from either del taco or Taco Bell. The strongest selling point is their spicy ketchup. I don't live in the area anymore so I only go every time I visit, but when I do I make sure to get a bad full of spicy ketchup, and the homies at bakers always oblige. Super great staff, pretty good affordable food, and if you like that social media side of life you can follow them to get even more deals daily which is not too shabby. My family and I have been going to Bakers for over 32 years and couldn't believe our luck when this location opened for business. They serve good old-fashioned food but I love their taco burgers while my daughter gets the mama burger on every visit. The associates go over the top to greet you and make you feel like part of their family. On today's visit we ate our dinner and prepared to leave. Just had the mama number 1 (cheese burger combo, small fries, small drink) and a Neapolitan shake. The food, great as always. The shake tasted a little like cough medicine because they used a shot of flavoring instead of actual ice cream (mixed chocolate and strawberry shots into vanilla ice cream). Drive thru girl was on her personal cell phone on the other side of the store. Who ever she was talking to was way more important than the person WAITING at the drive thru window. Omg horrible horrible service I went on Monday morning all I ordered was a hot chocolate and a spicy quesadilla when the guy charged me he repeated my order when he handed me my food he repeated my order for a second time I got to work and it was the wrong thing!! When I go to the IE, I have to eat at Bakers. This place drives me crazy with how good the food is. I wish they would put a Bakers in the OC. This place is superb as far as service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and fresh fast food. They have a wide variety of meals to choose from such as breakfast burritos, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, quesadillas, and even vegetarian food. Many of their popular foods are listed under the Papa/Mama combos. I love just about everything here, but my favorite would have to be the ground beef tacos. I recommend getting the #3 Mama meal with (2) Original ground beef tacos, fries, and 20oz drink. My choice of drink is their Cherry Sprite soda which is so good. Unfortunately, they charge $0.25 cents for refills here unless you get the Papa meals which comes with a 32oz drink. Also, I love their taco sauces and spicy ketchup. They have great specials on their food daily, so I suggest asking the cashier before you place your order to get the most out of your meal while saving money. Start off by trying those good ground beef tacos which are $0.99 cents on Tuesdays. I recommend stopping by here when you want some good fast food as they are located everywhere in the IE. read more
