Their food used the be good, not today. Got a teriyaki chicken sandwich and it was the WORST! The bun was so old and dry it fell apart. The chicken was so dry it was impossible to eat. There was one little spot of teriyaki sauce. They chicken patty used to be cooked in the sauce, and was delicious. Today they just put a dry piece of chicken and a dot of teriyaki on an old bun. Their postings on the doors that say the drive through is open until 11:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays but have found this to be untrue. Had a really disappointing experience here today. Ordered 3 vegetarian combination burritos with no cheese (among other things), girl taking my order confirmed by saying "veggie combo burrito." Well, I get home and nope. Definitely not the veggie meat that was supposed to be in there. It was real meat. My wife and I are both vegan so to say we were disgusted is an understatement. We drive back and when we ask for our food to be replaced they said they were currently out of the veggie meat and that they were cooking more. This was about 20 mins after I first drove through. Kind of a funny coincidence right? Obviously can't confirm 100% but my gut tells me they just figured, "eh let's just put real meat in there." Went to Bakers during the week and the chicken burrito was not quite up to par. Saved my receipt took a picture of it because it just wasn't like how it normally is with red sauce and shredded cheese just chicken and was on the small side. I contacted the manager Jessica and went by today and she made the burritos again and I was really impressed at her professionalism. While I was waiting for Jessica to make fresh chicken burritos I was offered a free beverage. I've always love bakers and still do. Was happy with the management and their customer service skills. Have to say I continue to come here often because I love the food. This location use to be good. But for about the past two months, maybe more, the service of this location has come to a usually slower than turtle crawl every time. It doesn't matter whether you are dining in or driving thru. You are gonna wait a minimum of 15 minutes or more. I work in the food industry myself so I get speed of service methods. This store needs training and management badly. No one seems to hustle, no one seems to lead, no one seems to serve. I nor anybody in my family had ever eaten at a bakers until this store opened. We were expecting it to be low quality and were sort of suspicious of the restaurant due to the Mexican/ American menus. But I tried it and fell in love! Every time I come here I try something new. So far I've had the grilled chicken sandwich, chicken quesadilla, and the beef barbacoa burrito. Every one beat my expectations by a landslide. Way better quality than any other fast food chain I know. Another thing that's good is the food isn't greasy. Even the food with cheese, barely has any grease. I also like how they have a whole side of their menu for vegetarians, just in case I don't feel like meat one day. Okay, we were in this area to eat at another place, but since it wasn't open, we headed over to Baker's instead because apparently, a 3rd time has to be the charm with me. This was a nice quiet place next to a cool looking McDonald's. We decided to eat inside this time so we could have a good look at what a Baker's is and take some time going over the menu. The place was clean inside, had the short window dressings like you are in someone's kitchen, and had a nice atmosphere with the sounds of "Let's Get Physical" playing over the loudspeaker. I got the ground beef burrito which was pumped full of taco meat and with some extra hot sauce, was actually pretty good! The tortilla tasted fresh and the meat was nicely seasoned. It reminded me a lot of the old Del Taco Del Beef Burritos, back when they actually cared more about quality and less about profit. My wife got the Double Baker Burger and okay, I guess I see that the wafer thing hamburger patty is what a Baker's Burger is about because this looked the same as the Ontario version I had. Lots of lettuce and a tomator went with it, but it was funny to hear the crunching going on when eating a burger. She also had a bean & cheese burrito but didn't like it again when it was nearly as thin as a quesadilla and had too much tortilla for her. I rather like that myself and finished it for her. I think now that I see this place as more on the lines of a Del Taco, I can enjoy more; it's not really strong on burgers like an In N Out or a Burger King or something like that, but as a Am-Mex food place, it's good. And prices here are pretty decent too. Oh and lastly, the counter clerk brought the food out to our table. A nice touch that McD's lost along the way. read more

Stopped here for lunch going through the drive thru. I ordered a green burrito with sour cream. I ate my burrito waiting to get to the green sauce, unfortunately I never did. I called the store and spoke to the manager who offered me a new burrito. I asked her to just give me the difference in the cost of bean burrito versus a green burrito. She said she couldn't do that. I said to the manager what's so hard about getting the order right, I only ordered one item. The manager said they gave me the wrong burrito. So two customers in a row got the wrong item.
