Mystery place looks like it's closed but when u enter it's so good the food is great here and my family I went here and when I tell u this has to be the best Chinese food I've ever had in my whole life of living we've always been passing by it in our time living here in Austin and its so life changing.

    Lo Mein + dumplings

This place is by far the best hangover Chinese, night in, lunar new year, movie night, affordable takeout food. There are "fancier" Chinese places in the city to order from but they don't travel well whatsoever. Bamboo bistro travels incredibly well. The food is classic, comforting Chinese food. Generous portions. Great for large parties. Quality ingredients. I served this when I hosted my sex and the city season two watch party - and it was a hit. Don't sleep on the lo mein.

I had a barber appointment next door so I stopped in as I had been to the Bamboo Bistro near the Domain. There were zero prices on the menu, the dining area and exterior of the building were harrowing, and the view of the kitchen was rough. Still, the food was decent -- I highly recommend the jalapeño cream cheese wontons. The chicken is always the same...overcooked and quite flavorless. The fried rice was lacking flavor as well and was super oily. The staff was super nice but I won't be back...

Consistent, good food, good proportions and inexpensive. This is my go-to Asian food spot. The jalapeño crab Rangoons and Thai soup are 2 of my favs. The soup is soooo good, I want it in my veins!! Perfectly spicy, citrusy, and salty. These are some of the best Rangoons too. I got general tso chicken for the first time, wasn't my fav it had a very slight burnt taste BUT it was still good.

Traditional Chinese fast food. It's tasty and a good location with easy parking and it also has good service but it's very Americanized. It is locally owned but since they have gotten busier over the years it seems like they've added a lot of sugar and salt to all the food. I would make sure to get something that is naturally less sugar and salt. I like general tso's chicken and sesame shrimp but both are just loaded with sugar. The food comes out fast and hot.

The chef Chef's Special Seared Ahi Tuna, and some Orange Peel chicken on the left side (given to me by my mom). Fried rice up top

I want to give like 3.7-3.8 stars but I'll round up to 4. This place makes decent to go Asian food, I would say it's just a slight step up from your Panda Express quality and definitely has more options on their menu, but it's no "nice sit down restaurant." The interior is 3/5 stars at best, it's whatever. Not fancy by any means, kind of reminds me of an older diner or a McDonalds (so you can eat there - but why would you when you can get the food to go and eat in the comfort of your home?). I ordered the chef special seared tuna which comes with sautéed spinach/bacon and rice, and my mom got their version of orange chicken and shared some with me. The food was on the salty side but it got the job done, it killed the craving for Asian food. For the price, it's just standard i would say. If you're wanting a nice sit down Asian restaurant meal, try somewhere else but if you want slightly nicer to go asian food this is a fine option.

Food is consistently good, and the vibe is small and family-run. Great to pick up on the way home.

The menu has a great variety of Asian-inspired barbecue, smoked meats, shareable plates, and sides, so everyone in our group found multiple dishes they loved. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh, and the quality really stood out. The combination of barbecue and Asian flavors was unique without feeling overdone. Although I would reorder everything again, these are the following things that I still dream about: crunchy sweet corn fritters, char siew pork belly, smoked shishito queso, and smoked butcher's cut. The laid-back atmosphere made it easy to relax, share food, and enjoy good conversation. If you're visiting Austin with friends or family and want a place that offers delicious food, plenty of variety, and a fun, casual vibe, Loro is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back.

This is really disappointing because we genuinely love Loro and eat here pretty regularly…read more I currently have a hip injury, so we ordered curbside pickup. After receiving the notification that our order was ready, I waited in the designated curbside spot for about 10 minutes. Eventually I had to painfully get out of the car, only to find our food sitting on the pickup shelf while employees were standing around talking. The much bigger issue came when we got home. We were eating dinner while watching a movie in dim lighting when I happened to notice my boyfriend's chicken was completely undercooked. It was still pink throughout, with some areas even appearing bloody. By the time we realized it, he had already eaten quite a bit of it. He ended up spending the night very sick. Undercooked chicken is a serious food safety issue, not just a quality issue. Mistakes happen, but serving raw chicken can make people extremely ill, and that's exactly what happened here. I'm posting this because I hope management takes it seriously. We have always enjoyed Loro, which is why this experience was so shocking. I hope they improve both their food safety practices and their curbside service so this doesn't happen to someone else.

Food is expensive for fast food stirfry. $16 if you want steak, $7 foe kids bowl. I paid extra for mushrooms and got two little mushrooms in my bowl. The rolls are creative without being try-hard, unexpected combos like asparagus and Fuji apple that actually work. Everything felt super fresh and well thought out. What I got: The Salmonlicious Roll (M9) was my favorite of the night, I ordered it without cream cheese and it was incredible. The apple adds this perfect sweetness that I didn't know I needed. The Big Easy Roll was a classic done right light, with a beautiful assortment of fish on top. Crunchy cucumbers, tangy yuzu. Chef's kiss. The Spicy Tuna (C4) was a solid classic, good quality fish. The Buddha Roll (M7) was also delicious. Edamame (A6) to start, simple and good. Also, first time using ponzu sauce instead of soy sauce and I am never going back. Game changer. I can't sit here and type up a review about the thing I didn't come to MUSE for. Long story short, do not bother trying the ramen here. I actually came to MUSE because they advertised their sandos online. It's the type of sando akin to the famed ones from Age.3 in Ginza and other Japanese spots. It's definitely more expensive than abroad, but it's genuinely the BEST thing here. It's actually so insanely good that I was afraid to eat too much of it. It's the definition of a guilty pleasure. The creme brulee one scares me just from what it makes me become... Word of advice, this place should rebrand to focus on sandos and drinks.
