Sometimes you just want good Asian food from a real restaurant in a casino at midnight. Thankfully, there's Bamboo. Staying open til 2am is genius. After a night of blackjack, I'm not interested in a subpar food court or over-the-top buffet. Bamboo is surprisingly peaceful considering its only steps away from ten cent slots. Pretend you didn't just drink three red wines & order yourself a hot tea to zen out for a bit. The food is solid, probably some of the best pho and spring rolls you can get in the middle of the night. There's a steady flow of diners, so everything is coming out hot & fresh. I'd expect service to be forgettable at a place like Bamboo, but it's anything but. Not mention I had one of the best servers in all of Pachanga serving me that night. My only problem I have is that when I want this delicious food again I will have to travel for it. There is usually a line because that's what you do when you know a place is really good. The wait staff is very friendly. There could be a little wait on the food but nothing too outrageous. Portion sizes can easily take care of hungry eaters. The ambiance is nice and relaxing, and tables are spaced far-apart. This place is very impressive! read more

They have variety of rice and noodles dishes. I ordered the wonton noodles soup, unfortunately it wasnt as flavorful, I had to add additional condiments to flavor it. You must try the duck, its delicious - they only thing they are missing is serving the duck with the steam buns :) I would come back here just for the duck. So you can eat here with your Pechanga comp dollars. And they're open late. Consequently, I feel like I'm going to be a regular. The food is delicious. I've been here twice with a few different people and get a bunch of different things and share. The dishes are a bit pricey. I was kind of surprised. But I guess I can't complain all that much since it is good. And the portions are a good size so that you can share. There is a very good variety of dishes and appetizers to choose from- it can be hard to decide! The decor is nice and comfy. It's not very crowded or loud. Saw the billboard on the freeway about this place so I was excited to try it out even though the reviews on Yelp weren't so great, I figured I give it a chance anyway. We were there for a comedy show so decided to stop here for dinner first for our date night. The restaurant is located in the far back of the casino, kind of hidden. The ambiance is pretty nice and I can't believe all that was millions of dollars spent, I don't see it, but whatever. Our waitress was very sweet and suggested we have some alcoholic drinks since the bartender was apparently great at mixing drinks. We asked for a menu of the cocktails and she said that they don't have one but here's an internal version of one, which most were hand written down for the waitresses to remember. The names of these cocktails were very...sexual, so my husband and I ordered two cocktails. Nothing amusing about them, mine was just cranberry juice and vodka after all, not sure why they re-created it and gave it a new name to make it sound more interesting. I had the lo-mein and my husband had the orange chicken, the food wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either. I had my thai tea on the side and that was good as well. However, for the price you're paying for these dishes, you would think you're eating at a buffet, but you're not, it's a sit down place. My plate of lo mein was huge and I was able to eat it 2 more times after I got home. It was definitely family style and I could have just asked for a smaller plate to split it or something. You can choose your own meat for each and every plate, I asked for duck on mine and was very different from the typical lo mein that I used to get. Decent place, I just don't see what the fuss was all about this place opening up, there's nothing special, just another place for you to eat when you're tired of gambling, dancing at the club Silk, or pre or post comedy show. read more

I've only been to Bamboo once. We went when they first opened. It's has a nice casual dining atmosphere. As Paul B. says, it's not a classy environment and I don't think it's meant to be. One thing about the restaurants here at Pechanga, they are meant to not be super particular in attire, because it's a casino and people arrive dressed all kinds of ways. So it looks nice in there, but you don't have to dress up. Our server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the sea bass. It sounded good and said that it came with a garlic-infused sauce. When the plate came, I was a little disappointed at presentation. The fish was laying in a thick pool of this green sauce, that looked like pureed peas. I wish it would have been on the side, because it ruined the taste of the fish. It was thick and had a weird taste to it. In fact, the fish would have been great without it. As I'm sure you all know, sea bass is expensive enough without ruining it. Instead of sending it back; in which case I have to rrreallly hate a dish, I just toughed it out and ate the part that wasn't in the sauce. Even though the food was okay, I'm not in a big hurry to go back. I have eaten at better establishments for Asian-inspired food. However, I would give them a try again, since we went when they first opened. I like to give new establishments another try if I don't particularly care for the food. Nestled on the East side of Pechanga Casino where the old money cage used to be, is a new Asian restaurant. Simple, yet elegantly decorated, you can dine here for some gambling energy. Ok...let's get to the nitty gritty. As a Chinese girl who grew up with authentic Chinese food, I can easily say I am very difficult to please when it comes to asian food. My parents had a Chinese restaurant for 15 years, so I know how difficult it is to please all palates. It is truly difficult to appease Asian and non Asian taste buds. Bamboo does a fine job walking that happy medium. Most comprised of Chinese food, this restaurant also has a small variety of Vietnamese and Korean food. Cuisine here can be individual or family style. There's also a small private dining room in the back. Apparently 2.2 million$ was spent on this place and yet they couldn't take out 50,000 for a restroom? You have to walk out about 2 minutes away out of the restaurant to get to it. Ok..back to the food... Potstickers This arrived at our table by accident. We ordered the BBQ Pork Buns, but got this instead, so we just kept it. The look was perfect and the texture was perfect, but the taste was a bit too mild for my taste, but fine for most I think. 6 pieces accompany a traditional red vinegar dip. Shrimp Dumplings with Rice Noodle This dish was surprisingly tasty. The soup was perfectly flavored, without the intense MSG taste. The dumpling wrapper was not too chewy. Encased in the wrapper were shrimp, bamboo, and not sure sure what else. Noodles were equally perfectly cooked. Well done!!! So so so much better than Blazing Noodles and Noodles of the World! Bi Bim Bap The rice unfortunately was not hot enough to mix the spinach, eggs, beef, sprouts and carrots well. The flavor was a bit too bland for my taste. If you want a healthy dish with a nice combo of food, with just a hint of taste, this may be for you. The beef itself had great flavor I must admit. Pork Pan Fried Noodles I was very pleased to see "Hong Kong Style Noodles" but this wasn't quite what I had in mind. I imagined it should've been crispier, warmer, and less salty. I should hear crunches in my mouth, not mushy silence. i've tried to order this countless times and Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants in Temecula, and I've been disappointed every single time, but this dish came closest...i will give them that. Roast Pork Fried Rice This was the most surprising dish of the night. They actually used real roast pork, not char siu! The flavor, saltiness and oiliness was just perfect. I would come back just for this alone. Heck I may just come in my lunch hour for this dish! Honestly, if this restaurant were in Monterey Park, I'd give this place 2 stars, but since it's in Temecula, I'll give them 4 stars. Let's be honest. I'm usually not a big fan of Vietnamese food but I'm always willing to try it. So I love fish, rice, sauces and Thai tea. Bamboo is a very nice restaurant and very well decorated and pretty modern. I love sweets and Bamboo does have a small dessert menu so I usually get the lemongrass creme brulee or the coconut cheesecake. The prices are pretty decent but some of the food that I had was a little salty I'm not sure if it was suppose to be that way. The wait staff are friendly and very willing to explain whatever you want. I will probably be back sometime soon. read more

I would skip all the Filipino dishes if you are looking for authentic Filipino food. However the wonton noodle soup, pan fried noodles and pho are good. The imperial spring rolls are also tasty. That is $78 and you assume something that pricey would be good. There's no way you can even eat a quarter through this thing or you will have a heart attack or food coma LOL just look at the picture, does that look appetizing to you? My husband and I tried this place for dinner while we were staying at Pechanga recently, and we were quite surprised with how much we enjoyed our meal. We started with egg rolls and hot & sour soup, and both were very tasty. The hot & sour soup came out at the perfect temperature, and the flavor was exactly what I expected. My husband ordered the Yang Chao fried rice without shrimp, and I ordered kung pao chicken, which is not actually on the menu. The portion of fried rice was huge. It was served on an oval plate and piled high. It had a great balance of flavors and was not cooked with excessive amounts of soy sauce. I loved my kung pao chicken, and it had so much flavor, that I hardly touched the side of white rice that came with it. I don't know if it is just because we were having dinner close to 9PM, but all of our food came out quickly. I ordered the seafood fried rice it 2 scallops 3 medium shrimp and pieces of squid for $25 there was so much rice that I couldn't even see the meat. The presentation was bad looked like three cups of rice was slapped on the plate and that was it. Glass of tea is 4. 95 sodas is 2. 95. Our server was nice.
