The family that runs and owns this restaurant absolutely deserves support in posting outstanding reviews. The food is fantastic. Best bangers in the world. To top it off the owners make you feel welcomed and appreciated for coming in. They go out of their way to talk to you and make you feel truly welcomed. On our 6 day visit to Bend, my family and I ate there 3 times and on the last visit we were greeted with handshakes and hugs. Had a great experience here. Wasn't sure what to expect, was looking for something on the quicker side but not fast food necessarily. I got the chicken apple sausage and an RPM. I cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband found it on Yelp as it was within walking distance from the house were renting. From the moment we walked in, we met an incredibly friendly staff willing to answer any questions we had about the menu. We ordered the chicken and basil sausage with caramelized onions, spicy peppers and garlic aioli, brat with tomatoes and chimichurri, then my husband put sour kraut on his and I added caramelized onions. We had a side of sweet potato fries and a salad. EVERYTHING was delicious. The salad came with a yummy balsamic vinaigrette, tomatoes and onions. The staff was more than willing to bring me a side of garlic aioli for my fries. And then checked up on us again. Seriously, everything was great. I don't often write reviews but I believe this place is really worth it can't wait to come on our next trip (or maybe again before we leave)! read more

The food was great and the menu was diverse but easy to order from. But the personal interactions from the family made this feel like home. I had lunch at B & B the other day. I ordered one of the specials which was wild boar, chedder and jalapeno sausage. I had sweet peppers, onions and Chimichurri mayo. The sausage was great and cooked to perfection with just a slight crunch to the casing that made it easy to bite through. The bun was fresh and locally baked. The toppings were great. Wow! Incredible assortment of sausage items. I had the Deschutes IPA sausage with caramelized onion,spicy peppers and garlic aioli. Husband had Cajun sausage with caramelized onion, sweet peppers and chimi-mayo. Excellent assortment of beers to go with. Mom and Pop enterprise. Daughter Frankie was lovely and helped us figure out the best assortment of toppings for our sausage. Grandpa Reuben was consistently checking on all patrons, making sure everyone was satisfied. Most importantly, very good prices. We will be back next month (out-of-towners) and this will undoubtedly be our first stop!!! read more

Excellent. Simply top notch. Skip the lines and wait downtown and come straight to Bend's Sausage House. Parking is a breeze. Both indoor and outdoor (with shade cover) seating is available, high tops and low picnic tables). I was immediately greeted and asked if I'd been there before. I hadn't, so the waitress (order at the bar style place) explained the menu for me. The head chef was having his shift drink at the bar, and offered suggestions if I'd like them- I did- and he pointed me in the direction of his personal favorite. I ordered a side salad ($3) and a Hickory Smoked Cajun sausage with grilled onions, kraut, and spicy mustard ($8.50), and a Sweet As Pale ($5). The beer was out immediately, and food followed just a couple of minutes later. First, the salad. For a $3 side, I expected a small amount of romaine or worse, iceberg. No such thing here at Bangers and Brews! The salad was huge, consisting of fresh mixed greens and topped with onions, tomatoes, and a house-made vinaigrette. Then the sausage: so juicy, just spicy enough to get a sweat going but nothing crazy, oh-so-flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The grilled onions, kraut, and spicy mustard were the perfect pairing. Then, as I was finishing my last bite, the owner (I guessed correctly) stopped by to check on me. So nice, friendly, and genuine. As good as it gets here in Bend, OR- delicious food, ample parking, great beer selection (10 taps), relaxed ambiance, friendly, accommodating staff- and at an affordable price! If you are in Bend, you have to go to this place! The owners are the sweetest old Argentinian couple. Everyone there is heartwarmingly kind and friendly. The husband owner makes sure to walk around and check on all of his customers with such a passionate and caring demeanor. It's a heartwarming experience. Then there is the food...only mentioned second because of how amazing the people are. The chimichurri is lights out incredible! We had to walk away with 2 jars, because 1 just wouldn't do. The bacon Gorgonzola fries are something from a fairytale or something like that. I mean...WOW. Finally to the bangers. I've had my fair share of delicious sausages in my life, and these rise to the top of the list. You could spend a year trying to go thru all of the different combinations of sausages and toppings, and I bet you would revel in every minute. Thank you for the amazing Bend experience! My boyfriend and I stopped here on our road trip and we basically stumbled upon food heaven!!! They have an amazing selection of different options, things you wouldn't normally consider that are DELICIOUS. They had a whole menu of exotic meats which is where it gets really interesting. My boyfriend went all in and got the Python & Rabbit dog. Let me tell you, that dog changed our lives! My boyfriend took one bite and was in shock. I normally am not into eating anything strange, I was a vegetarian for a long time and usually that stuff grosses me out. My boyfriends reaction to eating the dog was enough to make me want to try it. I took one bite and OH MY GOODNESS. Words can't describe how delicious it was. Also, I wanted to mention that it is a family run business and the people who work their are so super friendly and personable. The cashier was the owners daughter and she was so nice and she made awesome suggestions. The owners even came out to talk to us while we were there and ask us how we liked our food. They sat and talked to us for a little bit and were such sweet people & they told us about all of their locally grown and raised products. Overall such a great experience at this place. Second time coming here in a week. Both times I've been blown away by the food and the service . I had the duck/bacon the first time and today had a bratwurst with the chimchuri, onion, and cheese. Chimchuri sauce is amazing and you can buy it by the jar. Sweet potatoe fries are perfection and great with some curry ketchup. Family ran and always making sure you are happy with what you got and even offer side sauces for fries.
