I tried the shumai and was unimpressed with the quality and at the price you are paying, there are definitely better options.

You can also order from the take out menu. BBQ Cha shiu bao ($1.20)- super good. Large. A little different, they don't use brown sugar to marinade the meat but nice and soft. Pineapple custard bun $1.80- super super good. Large. Pieces of pineapple in the sweet custard. This bun is a winner. Dan ta ($1.80)- deceivingly good. It looks like it'll be dry and not good. But the custard is soft, the crust has not texture. Whole duck ($34)- the roast BBQ is super good. Crispy skin. You see the duck fat is melted with flavor. A little bit on the salty side. But I don't think I've had a duck like this in the 626. I would only come for the baked goods and roast duck. Beef chow fun $13- I would skip this dish. It's not very good. Soggy noodles. No wok hei. Shiu Mai- they chicken and pork shiu Mai- i this is the only place I have seen chicken shiu Mai-. Har Gow- not good. I would skip this.

I don't know why this place is popular, maybe it's their dining options, which wasn't available when I came in the morning. Entrees are available after 10:30am. But the dim sum...how can one make such bad, soulless delicacies that are suppose to instead, show craftsmanship and flavor! I've had many takeout dim sum, and this is by far one of the least favorite locations pretty much ever. The price is cheap for a reason. I would say, though, their buns are slightly better, but nothing to run home about. Shrimp Har Gow - 2 stars Chicken Siu Mai - 2 stars Baked Char Siu Bao - 2.5 Curry Chicken Pastry - 1.5 stars Pineapple Bun - 2 stars Staff are okay here. Front window lady came off like you are bothering her, but she's efficient. I'm not sure if I want to return here. It was really just disappointing. I will have to find another dim sum spot next time I'm in the area. This place was just not it.

Really authentic dim sum takeout spot with a good selection of classic items. We picked up egg tarts, egg rolls, shui mai, har gow, pineapple buns, and BBQ buns. Overall everything tasted really good, especially the dim sum items and buns. The egg tart was flaky and fresh, and the prices were surprisingly good for the amount of food we got. The only miss for me was the egg roll--it came out pretty soggy. The menu is a little more limited since it's mainly focused on takeout, but there was still plenty to choose from. Store was clean and service was fast, which made the stop easy and convenient. Only thing to keep in mind is there's no dedicated parking. We ended up using either street meters or a nearby lot for about $4. Overall, really solid spot for quick and authentic dim sum takeout at a very reasonable price.

So I always try not to hold that against a place because food is obviously best when you eat it there fresh. That said, the pan fried noodles were easily my favorite thing we ordered. Those held up the best and still had good texture by the time we got home. The chicken was good flavor-wise, but there was definitely more bone than chicken, especially on the legs. One cool thing though: when my partner went in to grab the order, they watched them carving the chicken fresh before packing it up. You definitely don't get that kind of thing ordering through Uber Eats. The soy sauce chicken (not pictured) was also solid, and honestly this is a great spot if you want food that'll stretch into leftovers for days. We probably got at least four more meals out of everything. Still... it didn't fully scratch that Chinese restaurant itch for me the way SGV spots do. But for the area? Still a pretty good option.

We shared the dan dan noodles, the 3 cup Jidori chicken, pan-fried pork buns, and cucumber salad. I also got the soy milk, which I believe is made in-house. The food came pretty quickly and arrived before our drinks, in fact. The cucumber salad was fresh, and the cucumbers had a nice crunch. I liked the flavor of the chicken, but I thought it a bit on the dry side. The dan dan noodles and pork buns were excellent, however. The noodles were flavorful and had an enjoyable chew. The pork buns were tasty as well and filled with juicy meat. I also really liked the soy milk. It wasn't too sweet, and it had a nice thickness. The staff was friendly. The restaurant is a casual spot with a self-serve water station.

They were both really good and refreshing, perfect with the food we had. We bought these at happy hour prices as Monday night is happy hour all night! We ate the mushroom dumplings. We loved the dumplings and the peppery broth they came with. We shared a plate of gingery scallion noodles and I found them very savory and tasty. The ginger in it wasn't overwhelming and it was buttery. We parked in the structure next door where it was clean with abundant parking. Our parking was validated and the process was entirely digitized which I rather liked. The two of us sat on plush red cushion inside at a table meant for at least three people. I liked the interior and that it wasn't too busy. My boyfriend liked the color scheme of the space. We were checked on often which was very nice and welcoming of them. I was kind of frustrated because they don't have many sauces; the hoisin sauce is main sauce for everything. The popcorn chicken desperately needs a sweet chili aioli. But my biggest issue was with the environment; the were 3 girls who were extremely loud and disruptive. When I asked staff about the noise, they stated they were regulars and nothing was addressed. Multiple people kept turning around looking at them, and still nothing. In fact the male waiter vaped inside the restaurant with them. Very unlikely I will recommend or return.
