Middle of the road food and uninspiring drinks. Basic bar food with some outdoor seating and pretty slow service. They brought me a can of cider and never came back with a glass. It took forever for us to get our server's attention to bring us the check.

I'm bummed. After seeing the reviews I was super excited. The gravy on Grandmas Meatballs was cold, the meatballs have excellent flavor but the crostini was burnt. The Guido Poutine is cold, soggy French fries and a puddle of water under them. I was a bit concerned when the food came out super quick and this is why. Update: The owner came out and apologized and cut our bill in half. I think the place will be awesome once the kinks are worked out. The flavors were definitely there. I'll definitely try it again next time I'm in town.

Cute sports bar with great vibes and good food in Little Italy! Their french fries are phenomenal. The cheesesteak was also great, and the burger was decent. It is open seating, and can get a bit crowded especially when there's a big game on, but we were able to snag a table that had just emptied right when we arrived. I'll certainly be back!

I don't make reviews often, but Bar One knocks my socks off every single time I go. I have been living in the downtown/Little Italy area for years, and this place is an absolute staple of mine. The boys and I can come any time, any day, and the food, service, and drinks always hit every damn time. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, I figured, let me try the wings for once. I've been coming here for years and never had them. If you're on the fence of getting the wings, DO IT. The wings tossed in Daygo sauce are some of the best wings I've had in the area. I want to give an honorable mention to the beer/shot combo they offer. Nothing beats a Pacifico and a tequila shot on the sidewalk with your crew, watching the Padres game from the outdoor TVs. I'd also like to shout out the quesadilla - do it with crispy chicken, also tossed in Daygo sauce (this is my secret weapon of an order). The fajita bowl is also a certified slapper. But if you're looking for something light, the BBQ chicken sliders are solid. I could go on and on, but figured it was time for me to give Bar One their flowers Trust your gut when you order. It's going to be good regardless. Thank you Bar One for being who you are. Never change.

Great bar scene with outdoor seating. It was seat yourself and someone came right over. We were there for a drink and snack. The waitstaff was very friendly and suggested the fried ravioli which was so good and the red sauce it was served with was so flavorful.

I really liked this place, they have both indoor and outdoor seating with tvs outside. Service was great and quick. A good amount of beers on draft. The chicken tenders and fries were bomb. Very solid chicken tenders.

This little Italy bar has a long bar, high tables and several tvs to watch your favorite sporting match. We sat at the bar and the bartenders grabbed our drink order. They made a grey goose martini with a twist. They ran out of martini glasses or didn't have a martini glass so they served the drink in a standard cup. That's odd but the drink was absolutely deliciously made. Their scotch selection was very good. They offered a large ice cube for the scotch which is nice. Overall, the bar was very good and welcoming but prices are just a bit high. Parking is always an issue. If we are in the area walking around, we would return for a drink.

Bar One is located in Little Italy off India Street, providing the community with awesome food and cold drinks. This is the spot to go to for a great time with family and friends to take some stress off from a busy work day or just to enjoy some sports playing on multiple Tvs inside. The ambiance inside is modern and trendy, and the customer service that they provide is second to none! One of my favorite things about this bar is that they have patio seating outside of India st with multiple tables and chairs with umbrellas protecting you from that lovely San Diego Sun shine. They have multiple beers on draft, and the menu is always changing. The menu is written on a chalkboard with the brewery and make of the beer, and they also provide the alcohol content. They usually have great specials for a shot and beer that you can't beat in the neighborhood. Overall, Bar One is a superb bar for the family, and kids are also welcome but are not allowed to sit at the bar. They make a mean Shirley temple as well, and dogs are also welcome.

We came here for late night snacks and drinks. I liked the fact that it was open later than most places. The food is average as I can't think of anything to rave about. We had the meatballs and crab dip with tortilla chips.

There is plenty of space, and a fairly open air location, so we didn't over heat, and had plenty of shade. Our server was super kind and gave us all the best recommendations! They even showed us where the SDCC menu corresponded to the normal menu. We ended up splitting the Big Boss burger, French fries, Mac and cheese, tots, Caesar salad, ribs with sauce on the side. It was recommended to mix the ribs with the Mac and cheese, and I have never been happier with a recommendation in my life. This is precisely why I like to ask for the servers favorites!

I loved the stained glass lights at the booths we sat at, they were super cute! We played foosball for a dollar which was fun while it lasted but it didn't give us enough balls to play an entire game. It's been pretty hot in sd and this place has a lot of large open windows that were all open, I usually love that feature but it was an abnormally humid night so we were all pretty hot and sweaty inside. Food was good with affordable prices too, we came here quite late at night, so we were limited to only their late-night menu, but everything was quite tasty, typical bar food. Our standout favorite was the maple sriracha wings for $10.61, their flavor is exactly like described and was a good balance of sweet and spicy! The Butter Burger $10.57 was good too but I think too rich and heavy for me. The prices were great tho! Parking is pretty terrible as is typical for downtown, but we walked from Punch Bowl Social and had Ubered to there at the beginning of the night. ---- Overall: a cool place to hangout, drink, and grab a bite late at night, I'm sad about not being able to play a whole game of foosball, but a generally great time

I actually ended up calling the Tavern and Bowl to see if they had any earlier reservations and they told me if the person who requested an earlier time didn't pay the deposit I'd get the time slot. I am so lucky because these people didn't pay their deposit and we got the time and the lane. Cute thing, you can actually have kids come too, my niece who is 5 got to come along and they had a little device for her so she can push the ball, she ended up beating me. The amazing views of the bay were nothing short of spectacular, bringing a serene beauty that rivals the finest star systems. Over the years, my wife, her girlfriend, and I have become frequent travelers to this culinary haven, beaming back for nearly 15 years--a testament to its enduring allure. The selection of IPAs and mixed drinks is impressive, catering to even the most discerning palates in the galaxy. The choices are vast enough to satisfy anyone embarking on this flavor exploration, whether you prefer a refreshing drink to toast a successful mission or something bolder, like a phaser on stun! The menu features a delightful array of options, including fresh salads, tantalizing finger foods, and, of course, their famed burgers.
