Just had lunch here for the first time. The shrimp nachos were excellent, as were my family's entrees. What really made an impression however was our server "Chris S." He was attentive without being a nuisance, exceptional with recommendations, friendly with my little boy, and what really impressed me was when he noticed the people in the booth behind us about to light up, he mentioned it and offered to move us so we wouldn't have to breathe their smoke. Our party was split into a few tables due to the size of our party and the server that one half of us had was very attentive and very friendly and courteous. However, the other server was NOT. She was very rude, not attentive, and would come back to the bar and loudly talk about mostly not work appropriate things. The prices were rather high, but to be expected in a touristy part of the city. The space is small, but an alright stop for a decent burger. The service was lacking at best.. the women's bathroom ran out of toilet paper with a bathroom line at least 8 deep. Our waitress Demika was amazing, everything else was trash. The manager, Terra, tried kicking us out before they were even closed to start this off. Next, she locked the doors before the store was closed. On our way out we used the bathroom before leaving and I have NEVER seen dirtier bathrooms in my life, especially in a RESTAURANT! After the approaching the manager about the restrooms, who was taking a smoke break, she replies with "there's nothing we can do about it". It's sad that we have to leave a review like this.. demika deserves a 5 star review, she was awesome and very accommodating. Not impressed with this restaurant at all. Food is expensive and portions are tiny. I got fish and chips for $12.99. Two small fish fillets and a handful of fries. Could've went to my local grocery stores freezer section and bought the same thing they served me. To top that off I ordered extra fries in place of coleslaw. The lady served me my food with coleslaw and said "oh I guess you get coleslaw, hopefully someone will eat it." REALLY?! Talk about great customer service. Meal comes in about 20 minutes - a tough piece of chicken with melted cheese on top, a single tomato, and lettuce all on an untoasted bun. The entire thing looked sad (something you'd get at a fast food joint). It tasted just about as it looked - chewy and flavorless. The fries were decent, crispy but not overcooked. I ordered the Tiki Chicken Fingers with fries and my friend ordered a burger. Though the fries had just come up and should have been crispy, they were oil soaked and limp, no salt at all added. The burger was a cheese burger made with American cheese and lettuce and a limp pickle spear. No flash, no pizazz nothing to make it special at all. The service was the only thing worth while. Fish and chips was good enough, but the batter a bit hard on some pieces. It comes with cole slaw and you get to pick some 'kickers' like grilled onions or peppers, pickles, etc. The cole slaw was only creamy at the bottom. The blackened chicken burger was good. Jalapeno poppers were very good. It's a simple bar joint that serves mainly burgers, sandwiches and wings. They have some outside booths. Upon looking at the menu I asked the waitress and she said they can substitute a burger for a black bean soy burger and take the meat off the salad. Not what I was looking for. Ok so this place is pretty cool, awesome atmosphere very relaxed and chill whether you want to grab a meal or just a beer to get out of the hot sun for a while. The prices are great and the food is awesome. My family and I ate here for lunch yesterday and there were no complaints. My wife had the pirate burger which came with ham bacon and two cheese's I had a bite and it was really good packed with flavor. I myself had the hurricane burger which contained bacon, ham, grilled bell peppers, onions, pepper jack cheese and a fried egg. The burger itself was huge so much going on in that one burger but you are able to taste all of the components of the burger from the fried egg to the grilled onions, very flavorful. Both had it with the hand cut fries with cheese sauce, amazing!! My uncle had the chicken nachos as his meal and they were pretty good again a lot going on with the different ingredients but all together it was good.
