Open late, it's the spot where you can have korean eats, drink some jinro/soju, and sing karaoke with your squad. Seating involves either bar/high-top seating or grabbing a covered booth. And of course the karaoke rooms to belt out songs while pretending you're on American Idol. The setting has a lot of k-pop playing with tvs around blaring k-pop music videos or some type of k-drama. So you feel you're at some korean club or at a k-drama netflix night. As for food, the items we ordered were made for sharing, specifically the kimchi pajeon (pancake), loaded korean fries, and the KFC (that's korean fried chicken for those who don't know) wings. We also split a bottle of jinro to wash everything down. All the eats were solid although we were pretty plastered that night since it was the NFL Saturday wildcard round. Service involves the call bell to order but our server came by to check on us and get us what we needed. They recommended the pajeon which I'm thankful for since it was my first time ever having it. Some food does take a while to come out, specifically the wings/KFC; we timed it at around 20-25 minutes but I'm sure it'll take longer if the place is packed. Plenty of parking. I'd be down to frequent here again and also to try karaoke.

This place is all fun! The restaurant has the cutest cubbies for traditional dining, a nice bar area, and of course the karaoke rooms are a blast. The host did a great job of telling us how to run the equipment and how to contact him if we had questions. He also made sure we had our food and drinks and checked in often. The food options were plentiful and the food came out warm and was just as described.

Solid late-night spot for Korean food and karaoke in Spring Branch.. The space is fairly spacious, with bar seating and more intimate booth options. There's plenty of K-pop playing in the background to set the vibe. We tried the pancake, fries, and wings (good for sharing).. all solid and pretty on par with other Korean spots along Long Point. They have happy hour deals and specials on karaoke rooms during the week too. The drink menu is also pretty extensive.. service was efficient, and you can use the usual call bell to order, but the staff still came by often to check on us. Parking is easy since it's in a large strip mall with shared parking. Overall, a good spot for a fun night out with friends.

Nut allergy friendly, they were very cautious to take nuts off of the wings dish for me. We got here for late night bites around 11:20PM and got a booth with no issues. Plenty of parking in the huge strip mall. Time to food: - 15 Minutes (Pancake) - 25-30 Minutes (Fries, wings) Perfect late night Korean bar food. Vibes are great and the food hits with some drinks. Fried food came out crispy and the portions are really sharable.

Great vibes, great drinks but the food was unimpressive. We ordered about 7 different plates and everything was lacking flavor. They gave us complimentary shots to start off with which was nice of them. It was also my first time trying SOJU and I loved it. They place is small but cozy. I'm sure people love to karaoke here -- the atmosphere was vibey.

This place gives good vibes for a night snack or hangout with friends. My friends and I were the only ones at the restaurant on a Monday evening so the service was pretty fast. The pork belly dish we got was decent and got a decent portion. However, the spicy rice cake dish we got was a little disappointing. It was very sweet. My friend who had it before mentioned it's usually pretty good but it was unusually sweet this time around.

This place is a time and a half! Great vibes, cute seating arrangements, and some good kpop music to fill the space as well. I had a large group drop in after some volleyball and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Food was quick to come out and each dish was actually great! They have a pretty fleshed out menu to pick from. I would highly recommend the smoked bossam, though, as it was my favorite of the night. They also have the option to Karaoke! Left here very satisfied!

Cozy vibes and great food inside. Unexpected from the outside plaza feel, there's private karaoke rooms that you can reserve and enjoy drinks and food while you sing. The Servers are great, good for groups or solo dates

It's not often I'm on this side of town, but I was and was wanting to eat some bossam and this place popped up on my Yelp so I decided to check it out. Upon walking in i must say that's its pretty dark, but a total vibe. They have K-pop music blasting, I like sitting in the booths cause it feels very intimate and cozy. I also love that there's a bell you press whenever you want service ! They come pretty quickly and staff is friendly. I very much enjoyed my bossam, it's not traditional bossam, but it's still pretty good. Lettuce was nice and fresh, and everything in general was delicious. If I was on this side of town again I'd come back and try something else on the menu!

Service is great and they also have karaoke rooms too. Food is very Korean bar food focused, with a heavily stocked variety of liquor and cocktails. Our favourites are the bossam, odentang, and saucey fried chicken. The non sauce fried chicken lacked seasoning inside. The karaoke controls are different from other karaoke bars and everything was in Korean on the screen so we figured things out as we went along. The bar owner is very helpful and friendly. He also managed soju 101 in Katy Asia town.

The menu is so large that I had a hard time narrowing what I wanted to eat. Sand with the drink options. So I ended up getting a soju sampler and a combo plate. Both were yummy. The waiters were very nice, fast, and helpful. It's cool that there's a button by the karaoke room door to call for help. The room was a nice size. The sound quality was good from the mics and the sound system. I have light sensitivity so I was afraid what the lights moving around might do, but I was fine the whole time. There was happy hour on drinks and the room from 6pm-8pm. They said they could only split the check 4 ways for a large party. So we had to bring cash to split it. They had an official karaoke machine with a large button pad or an iPad with YouTube. The night was so fun. I would recommend coming here for your next party.

We stopped by for dinner tonight, on a Tuesday. We were prompted greeted and sat in a booth. I like the intimacy of the booths, cute string lighting strung throughout the restaurant. The bar vibe is nice, especially with the music corresponding to the music video playing on the TV's and projector. We had the following items: * Strawberry Colada - non alcoholic and delicious! * Takoyaki - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was covered with the right amount of sauce, prepared well. * Bossam - this dish was well presented, with the pork belly served on a hot plate - see photo. I love the sauces that accompanied the dish, along with the slices of romaine lettuce. I'm used to this being steamed, not pan seared. It was also a tad bit too fatty for me. * Fish Cake Soup - served on top of a burner to keep it hot. It has a few jalapeno peppers to add a little kick to the soup. There was at least 4 varieties of fish cake. It was a mild soup and pleasing for our palettes. While we were dining, a few groups came through for the karaoke rooms. There were a few others dining while we were there. I think it would be nice to come back for some cocktails, with their huge list. I would like to try their fried chicken and some other menu items and maybe get a room to karaoke as well.

Barkord is more of a lowkey alternative to the other Korean bars in the area. There were plenty of tables when my group came at 10 PM on a Friday. The smoked bossam and fried chicken were standout dishes to me. I would've liked more lettuce with my bossam! The fries and tteokbokki were on par with other pochas. They have a pretty good selection of drinks to choose from and I enjoyed their apricot soju recommendation. They also have karaoke rooms for a decent price if your group was looking to sing! Overall, the food here could be improved upon in my opinion if they wish to remain competitive...

We ordered a few items to share and enjoyed a few glasses of wine while catching up. Our waiter recommended the Albert Bicho Pinot Noir and it was really good. We shared the signature board, crispy calamari, and crab cake. We weren't a fan of the green olives but loved everything else. The calamari was a bit over fried but we loved the remoulade sauce it was served with. I enjoyed the crab cake there was plenty of crab meat. As the night went on the place began to fill and the ladies who came in for the live performance liven up the warm space and really set the vibes as did a version of Sade. This is a cute spot for date night or just catching up in the Memorial City center area.

The Brussel sprouts and crab hush puppies were great. The breakfast skillet, I could have done without. It had absolutely NO flavor. Luckily I asked for some sour cream and they were able to provide it. That's the only reason I was able to slightly enjoy the dish. The drinks. The mimosa was perfect. Hard to mess that up though right? I asked if they had any stouts and if so, if they could provide a sample. I'm so happy I asked for a sample and didn't just order the "one" stout they had.
