Boyfriend and I initially meant to go to Barneys brunch house but put in the incorrect restaurant into maps and found our way here. So we said, why not? First thing, we were greeted promptly and warmly by a lady who was able to seat us AS SOON as we got in. Second, our waitress stopped in very soon after and got us our coffees. I have to say service was impeccable. We had multiple people stop in so I don't think we had one designated waitress but nonetheless, The whole waiting staff seemed super alert to anything we needed. Refills, sauces, plates taken, everything. A+ from a previous server here :) Thirdly, food. I got the California Benny and Josh got the sweet tooth. Portion sizes are nice, not too large but enough to leave you feeling satisfied. My meals was one of the best I've had in a long timeeeee. SO GOOD. Wow Josh enjoyed his food as well. We tried thia place by mistake, and hot damn it was so bomb!! Fresh squeeze orange juice is my weakness...a little expensive but worth it. We tried french toast-huge and delicious. We tried chicken fried steak- best in Texas. Mom got the eggs Benny- said best sauce ever. I personally got the Migas, and it was so good!! I wish the salsa was a little more authentic. This is my favorite breakfast I've tried since moving to the Dallas are so far. The biscuits are a must! They are so flakey and buttery! The turkey bacon was cooked to a crispy level which can often be a miss. And finally, the hashbrowns were the perfect mix of oil and seasoning! The only thing that needs slight improvement is the sweet tea. It tasted more trike sweetened tea rather than a good hot tea that dissolved the sugar and then was put on ice. Unfortunately, they do not have the same menu as the frisco location which includes the vegan/vegetarian items which is the first reason I fell in love with Barneys. Barney's was super convenient during soccer tournament in The Colony. Add your name to waitlist and then enjoy the cute decor and friendly staff. Our server DEBBIE was fantastic! They were packed with the Sunday after church crowd but Debbie was attentive and brought everything we ordered at the right temperature and checked up on us, refilled drinks, was sweet to our daughter and made our Sunday brunch treat extra special. We had the grilled chicken Cobb salad and it was tasty: crispy bacon, hard boiled egg, spinach greens w red onion and cherry tomatoes. My daughter had the pancakes with bacon and eggs which was a great value for all the food she received plus they cook made the pancakes into a teddy bear -- so whimsical and clever! We will be back next time to order more items such as the veggie omelet, southern Benedict's and big waffles. Lots of veggie options here, too! Something as simple as hash browns was excellent here (mainly because the ask if you'd like them extra crispy). The sausage gravy was actually gravy and had flavor.
