Staff: I came in on a Thursday afternoon for lunch with my friends. The waitress who served us was very inattentive and we did not see her until the very end despite being the only other ones in the restaurant. We also felt very rushed because as were eating our meal, the waitress brought us our check so we were scramming to find our wallets mid bite of our food. Environment: this location is not as aesthetically pleasing as the other location. It is really small and crammed. I would drive the extra couple miles and go to the frisco one. Food: I had the country fried chicken with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. The eggs were extremely dry and the hasbrowns seemed to be undercooked. The gravy was delicious with the fried chicken, however the actual chicken was just a normal chicken sandwich patty with gravy on top. 9-5-2022 - Went on a Monday (holiday) seated as soon as we walked in. Great food, the only service complaint was that the waters were not refilled in a timely manner. Good menu selection, including some not guilty items. Disappointed they no longer had my favorite breakfast bowl on the menu. I chose the Bacado Oh-melet (bacon, spinach, tomato, cheddar and avocado) with a side of Fresh Fruit and pancakes. It was large, fresh and very good. It has several large slices of avocado on top. My partner had the veggie oh-melet with potato tots (tater tots) and biscuits. He added jalapeños but there weren't very many inside and for the up-charge you'd expect more. He also added salsa on the side. (Be prepared for an unannounced up-charge for both of those). Food was ready and served quickly. This location is small, one way in/out, the entrance and waiting area can get very crowded and cramped. You may have to wait outside. Over all it was good to the point I want to go back and try the lunch part of brunch. read more

This is an ok Cafe- came in on Sunday morning and the number of people standing and talking I was left unimpressed with the service. Never saw the lady who took my order again as she was talking in the corner, someone else ran my food out and again someone else came later to refill my coffee(this person came back again later). A great spot for breakfast. Friendly, attentive service. Food always tastes freshly prepared. Pancakes aren't bitter, they are light and have a true malted buttermilk flavor. Best brunch I've ever had. The avocado toast for me is usually too bland but here they have pickled onions and sweet walnuts. It's taste level is elevated. I have been coming here for a few years now since 2020. This is hands down the best breakfast/lunch place to sit down and chow and enjoy great conversation with family and friends. The servers are genuinely wonderful people in and out. Ask for Debi or Ana, and they'll make you customers for life, and really any server will keep a smile on your face as they are all sweet and friendly and always on point. The food is mouth watering. My girlfriend and I went here for a cup of coffee on Sunday April 28th. We were there for no longer than 10 minutes. My check was for $6.50 and I left a $2.00 tip. I later see on my bank app that I was charged $11.50. So the waitress added money to the tip. I called the restaurant and the hostesses told me the manager was busy and hung up on me. Been here twice I think, food is sooo good! Service is actually really cool too. You might find yourself waiting in a small line for a couple minutes, (we've usually waited 10 minutes max) but trust me, the wait is worth it! The place is always clean from the two times I've been to this location, staff are on top of everything and super attentive, food is ready in like a couple minutes so y'all don't have to wait Years. The only bad thing I can really say about this place is the pancakes for kids are the literal sizes of a small dog, I'm not kidding, my sister could not for the life of her finish even a little bit, but I guess it's just up to your kids or siblings will power at that point. TLDR: this place is clean, has good food, staff are great, kids food might be a little too big but the prices are actually pretty affordable! Definitely eat here for breakfast. read more

I mentioned that i was my first time so asked about my preferences so she can recommend accordingly... and boy!!! She was 10000% right. Food was delicious. Ran across this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try based on the reviews. I was seated rather quickly but it took a while for my nice server to come and take my drink order. I ordered the sweet tooth meal, it looked delicious but wasn't worth the $15 by a long shot. Barney's Cafe is amazing! We eat there almost every weekend and anytime I have off during the week! The food is amazing and so is the service! They have a machine that you can watch fresh squeeze your orange juice! So good! My family has tried a little bit of almost everything on the menu and we've never had a complaint. I've seen so many restaurants come and go in this space but this one I think will stay. They got the right concept for this restaurant corner spot. I had the salmon sandwich and it was super. I loved the salmon with capers and arugula but whoever was scrambling the eggs really out did themselves. I have never gushed about eggs before but this one was perfectly formed, not runny yet creamy textured. I didn't know what I was missing before this.
