Barney's Cafe is the kind of place that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. From the super cute decor to the genuinely warm and welcoming staff, this spot has quickly become a local favorite for me. The service is absolutely top-notch! everyone is so sweet and attentive without being overbearing. On my last visit, they even surprised us with a plate of beautifully decorated birthday pancakes. Such a thoughtful and personal touch! The food is Just as impressive. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and came in generous portions. Whether you're there for breakfast or lunch, you'll get great quality food at prices that are honestly hard to beat. Barney's hits that perfect mix of cozy, friendly, and delicious. If you're in The Colony and haven't checked it out yet, go on!

Good food, good service, good location. A few hiccups but nothing to get upset over. They did serve us some old chocolate chips but it wasn't too bad. Food came out really fast. The chilaquiles and fajita omelette were exceptionally good. The pancake wasn't anything to take note of which was a little disappointing for a breakfast/brunch place. Plenty of parking and highly recommend the fajita omelette and chilaquiles. Side note : they have sugar free syrup.

This weekend was my first time at Barney's Cafe, and I enjoyed having brunch here! It was busy when I went but the inside and seating was very comfortable. I ordered the Barney's Oh-Melet which comes with your choice of two sides. My two sides were fruits and pancakes: the fruits were fresh and the pancake was warm and fluffy! The sausage gravy was delicious on the omelette, put perfectly with the sausage, onions and potatoes. Staff was friendly and the food came out fast!

    chilaquiles a la barney's -- spicy and amazing -- 6/5 gold stars

servers were super friendly and attentive. the food came out perfect and the flavor profiles were amazing! they accommodated our party of 10 without issue. loved the low lighting and chill in the air.

I was in the area around lunch time and got on Yelp to find place to eat. I am so glad Barney's popped up, what a great choice! The ambiance here is nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. It is typical brunch Cafe. The service is the same, nothing out of the ordinary or over the top, but pretty good. One thing I will compliment them on is they keep the place spotlessly clean! The food though IS out of the ordinary. I ordered the Barney's Omelet, and it was absolutely delicious! It had potatoes, cheddar, onions, and sausage in it and then it was served with sausage gravy on top!!! I will come back just for this, ad it wad probably the best omelet I have had.

I've heard good things about this place and it lived up! The food was all seasoned well we got chilaquiles and voodoo Benedict. Serves was sweet and feel warm and welcoming, I am not a huge breakfast person but I would come here again!

The food at Barney's Cafe was truly fabulous! I ordered Chilaquiles and my wife got an omelet which were both some of the best dishes we've had in a while! Service was great as well. Everything I tried was delicious including the pancakes except for the chocolate-batter pancakes which were a little dry. I found the menu exciting and fun too. Barney's knocked it out of the park for us and I can't wait to come back.

Went here for breakfast cause I wanted to try this place for so longg.. I saw it everyday while I drove to work and knew I had to give it a try! Ordered gyro omelette with potatoes and biscuits! The omelette tasted amazing! The lamb meat was so flavorful we absolutely loved it! Also, to satisfy our sweet tooth, we ordered our usual banana, strawberries, and nutella french toast which was also amazing! The only reason for 4 stars is cause our server was not very good.. she never asked us for sides when we ordered and gave a super vague reason that a lot of people don't order sides so I don't ask them unless they actually tell me.. I have never heard this reason from anyone! Also, they only refilled our coffee once! I being a breakfast person, have been to multiple brunch and breakfast places and have always had more than 2 refills offered! Oh well, at least the breakfast was good...

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday with a friend/business colleague and quickly remembered why I liked this cafe so much the first time I visited earlier this year. They have a great variety of menu selections, the space is clean and bright, and service is very good. I ended up having breakfast for lunch, ordering a veggie omelette with potatoes and gluten-free toast. Everything was tasty, and our server was attentive without being over bearing. Definitely need to pop in here more often!

Had some free time this morning, so I decided to give this place a try. They weren't busy, so I got sat right away. I ordered bisquits and gravy with scrambled eggs. I also got OJ, and you could tell that it was fresh squeezed. The bisquits were moist, and the gravy had nice chunks of sausage. They put something on the eggs to give them a nice flavor. The prices were very reasonable. My breakfast was about $14 with tax. I would highly recommend this place

Stopped for brunch and recommend this spot for breakfast/brunch. Biscuits were fluffy and good. Pancakes were especially fluffy and really good. Son loved his pancakes. Husband's bowl was also good and full of flavor.

It is candied bacon and it was delicious. We also tried the crispy ribs, which were delicious. My only issue was there were only 2 ribs in the basket and it was loaded with chicharrones. I think $18 is a little steep for the small amount of ribs. Service was great! Emma waited on us and she was top notch. Emma even made us a premium cocktail with watermelon juice with a Margarita base. It was fabulous! My favorite meal from the evening was my DiL's Ahi tuna salad. It had Sesame Seared-Sushi Grade Tuna, Mixed Greens, Crispy Wonton, Mango, Cucumber, Tomato, Sweet Soy, Ginger Vinaigrette. That tasted amazing! My dinner was the prime rib sandwich and I thought the prime rib was dry and overcooked. The fries were great. My son got a chicken penne al vodka. He really liked it. Another son, got the grilled chicken salad. He enjoyed his meal too. The other dish I loved was the tuna tower. It consisted of Sushi Rice, Ahi Tuna, Cucumber, Avocado, Lump Crab, Spicy Aioli, Unagi Sauce, Wonton Chips. It was so full of umami. My favorite part of the meal was dessert. We got the brownie Sunday. It was a flavor bomb filled with a delicious brownie, caramel ice cream, whipped cream and syrup. I was in heaven. The restaurant itself was lovely and large. Seats were comfortable and they had really large booths. We had some hits and misses, but now I know what to order when we return. I would definitely come back and visit again. Thanks Emma, for the great service.

The prices are slightly cheaper than lunch/dinner portions. The ambience is great and it's such a cute space: it's chic and comfortable. It's so flavorful and has the right amount of spice and heat. This was my favorite dish and please note this item is not on happy hour. This is a WINNER and was the star of the evening. 5 STARS The Chicken Wings were tasty with the sweet Thai chili sauce. These are good, but not great. I definitely have had better. However, they are seasoned well and good for sharing. The pickled veggies on the side are amazing. Every bite was magical and scrumptious. I wanted more veggies. 3.75 STARS The cocktails are wonderful. Lychee Martini and Spicy Passion Margarita are both GREAT! The portion size was perfect and the overall flavor profile was really good. The highlights were definitely the sausage gravy, biscuits, and glazed pork belly. The only thing holding it back were the potatoes, they could've used a bit more seasoning and roasting to elevate the dish. - Green Curry Beef (6/10): I was recovering from a cold and wanted something warm and comforting. Honestly, something about this curry really helped calm my cough. This isn't your traditional green curry, but the flavor was still enjoyable, and they were generous with the amount of beef in the dish. Overall, we enjoyed trying something different and would come back again to explore more of the menu.

The hostess added us to the list and said they would send a text once our table was ready. She even read our phone number back to us. We waited outside and 30 minutes went by before we went back inside to see how much longer. Yea, they somehow didn't actually add us to the list. There were plenty of tables available by then and they gave us a table immediately. We placed our order and after receiving everything except the penne alla vodka and waiting almost 20 minutes after we'd gotten everything, I asked where our pasta was. Our waiter said it should've come out long ago and he would check. Somewhere along the line, it was forgotten. Either it was never put in or the kitchen staff lost it. It ended up being on a completely separate bill because they had to put it in again. By this point, we were over this dinner experience. An extra hour had been added on due to no fault of our own. So why am I giving it 4 stars? Because the manager made it right. Patrick, the manager, came over to our table to talk to us. We politely explained how this evening was a failure across multiple points and he was very apologetic and comped our entire $50 meal. I wasn't expecting that as I had already given our waiter my credit card and he already ran it. We weren't looking for a free meal, we just wanted to give him honest feedback about how things went wrong. Because he took the time to chat with us, I wouldn't hesitate to return. This experience had never happened before there so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was just a rough night for folks. As for the food, the pepperoni pizza and chicken soup were delicious. The short rib comes pretty much comes in soup, but it was fall of the bone tender. The penne alla vodka that we waited so long for missed the mark. It was incredibly sour and mushy. We've gotten the bolognese and pappardelle pastas before and those were both excellent.
