The last time I was there was just for drinks and dessert. The bartender made me a really bespoke drink for me that fit my dietary needs at the time and was delicious. We also went for Father's Day one year. Super busy. Presentation is always beautiful.

The mountain view outside the windows was gorgeous. Based on the ambiance inside the restaurant, it looked like a more upscale restaurant, which is why I can understand the dress code, but the vibe seemed quite casual. And I was surprised at how kid-friendly it was! There were multiple people there with little children. Our waiter was nice and attentive. For appetizers, we ordered the Trout Rillettes and baby gem salad. The trout was very creamy and the salad was underwhelming for $16... it may look big in the photo because of the angle but it was small and it reminded me more of a wedge salad. For dinner, I had the Seared Salmon with crab fried rice, it was underwhelming for the price, and my husband had the Seared Red Snapper and said it was "too fishy". He didn't finish it. The kids entree, chicken tenders and fries, was a very generous portion and of course, she loved it. Overall, view was amazing, service was good, food was underwhelming for the price.

The crew was awesome and it's always cool to me to see how hands-on every single person on the staff is. I was super hungry so I ordered the Niçoise salad which was perfect. The vinaigrette they have is flavorful and I would put it on anything. Since I've been on a ramen kick lately I had to have the wabi-sabi ramen which I highly recommend to everyone. Drinks! I got the good luck, outlaw and it was bright, not too sweet, gingery. If you've never visited this little spot, don't be afraid to try something you may have not heard of. Shuga's is avant-garde dining, with a menu of all different kind of items that somehow still co-exist without sacrificing flavor, but still shows love to that menu item's traditional style. When you go there, you'll know what I mean. Have fun!

I was obsessed with the eclectic vibe both inside and on their patio. The weather was beautiful so we took advantage of the outdoor seating. The menu featured some delicious and unique items. I opted for the bruschetta & soup combo. The coconut shrimp soup was my absolutely fave! So so good! The bruschetta were hit or miss for me, I liked the goat cheese with grape but the salmon I wish had more flavor. Overall we enjoyed the meal & some great lattes too! An awesome spot to start the morning at.

We were on the hunt for a cold beverage and a nice place to sit, and this is honestly the only place in town that we found that satisfied our criteria. We walked in and it was a little bit confusing that you were handed a menu, but had to go claim a table and figure out what number table it was, and then come back inside to order, it felt very disjointed. We noticed that it was happy hour, so chose two beverages that were listed, and they were out of one of them. My brother ordered a tap beer, and they never brought it out, we waited quite a while and then he went back inside and got it. It was a little bit confusing, since they had been so adamant to go figure out what table we wanted, and then they never brought out what we ordered. We probably would have ordered several drinks but since it took so long we decided to move on. The (I think) owner was outside, tending to the patio, and enjoying the music. It was a little overbearing, but I think he was just passionate, giving gifts to the children and being hospitable. The best part was the very good live music, and the large water they brought to our table. I also enjoyed the people watching since it's right on the street.

We sat at the bar and the bartenders were busy but impressively friendly and attentive. We had and Ol' Fashioned and of course tried their signature drink, The White Rabbit: Our Signature Martini: Vanilla Vodka, Coconut Rum, and a Dash of Cream, Topped with a Flaming Marshmallow. The White Rabbit was spot on, such a treat and not too sweet.

If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
