If you're not used to consuming turmeric this may kick start your digestion so be wary if you're going somewhere with limited restrooms. Good for the gut really means GOOD for the gut. If you've never visited this little spot, don't be afraid to try something you may have not heard of. Shuga's is avant-garde dining, with a menu of all different kind of items that somehow still co-exist without sacrificing flavor, but still shows love to that menu item's traditional style. We noticed that it was happy hour, so chose two beverages that were listed, and they were out of one of them. My brother ordered a tap beer, and they never brought it out, we waited quite a while and then he went back inside and got it. It was a little bit confusing, since they had been so adamant to go figure out what table we wanted, and then they never brought out what we ordered. We probably would have ordered several drinks but since it took so long we decided to move on. The (I think) owner was outside, tending to the patio, and enjoying the music. It was a little overbearing, but I think he was just passionate, giving gifts to the children and being hospitable.
