Over the years, my visits have been a bit hit or miss, but mostly it's been a good experience overall. Friendly and clean. This location is great, and it's always buzzing with customers no matter the time, right up until they close. They have a fantastic selection of flavors, and their milkshakes are consistently delicious. Tonight, I'm treating myself to a mint chip shake, which has always been one of my favorites. If you're in the area, this Baskin-Robbins is worth a visit for a quick sweet treat. Whether you're craving a cone, sundae, or shake, they rarely disappoint! My go to spot. read more

They gouged us -charging us $76 for a 9 inch round Oreo ice cream cake -that was selling at the same time for just $46 at the Curtis Park Baskin Robbin's and $52 at the Elk Grove baskin Robbin's and on top of all that, the price listed on the shelves clearly said $60 in multiple locations for the exact same described cake Do not patronize this place!! Good service, great ice cream in an older stripmall in a less fancier area of Sacramento. Was passing thru town enroute to the Reno-Tahoe area and had a spontaneous hankering for a couple of decadent scoops. The Baskins app on my phone required an update, which turned out to be a fotunate one because along with the update came a free scoop. Righteous! Also good, because single scoops at this location are $5+ now (ouch, inflation). Fairly easy on-off access to the main freeways from this store which is another plus. On the way out, subtraction for a well-heeled but solo non-customer allowed to be seated and leisurely eat a large meal of Togo's sandwiches inside the store. Weird, uneasy site and generally thought to be a no-no eatery faux pas, but...? It didn't take away from the yumminess of my ice cream though. read more

Apparently this location does not honor the free "welcome" BR Rewards scoop, despite signage that claims that a QR code that is accepted can be used. According to the staff (two pretty young guys - they weren't rude exactly, and I understand they are following policy), because high schoolers abuse it by creating new accounts, they only honor the free birthday scoop and the % off rewards. I understand the reasoning, but frankly it's BS. My HS days are looong behind me, and this is my only account. I haven't been to a BR for years and thought I'd give it a try, and possibly check if the cappuccino blasts are anything like when I used to get them decades ago. But nope. I can't deal with a place that doesn't honor a reward just because other people are abusing it. I'm particularly annoyed because this is the last day to claim the reward, so I'm SOL on trying a different location. read more

What's there not to love about 31 flavors?! This neighborhood store stands out to me because the ice cream servers are polite, friendly, and respectful. Their ice cream cakes also stand out to be one of the best designed. Order early enough and you can get a custom cake for a reasonable price! A lot of custom cakes that are not ice cream cakes cost a lot more, and so when I found this gem of a location, I never looked back. My kids enjoy them all of time, and it's super easy to make a request for the cakes. read more

Multiple visits. Always a treat to visit this Baskin Robbins. On a previous visit I had asked about a flavor they had a few days before, and they apologized, said it got rotated out, but they'd check the back for me since I had wanted a quart of it. They ended up finding it in the back freezer, enough for a quart and little extra if I wanted. I still ordered the quart. Since it was in the back freezer, it was much colder and frozen than anything up front. The employee didn't let that stop them, and worked to get everything out to pcl the quart, apologizing all the way for the time it was taking which I tried to assure them it was fine. They've always been honest and upfront with any information you want to know. After a dissapointing visit to my closest Baskin Robbins, I contacted this one and asked the same question. So I have always gotten cakes from here last minute and each time they have gone above and beyond. I can only name once where there was nobody on the staff that could accommodate writing on the cake for me. This time however was even more of a sporadic cake mission with impeccable customer service. We came in about 4:45 to buy a cake for my son turning 8. I was hoping that like the other times I visited last minute that they would have something that he would like in the freezer, unfortunately it was more on the princess and flower side then Fortnite and Horses lol so we picked a plain one with blue sprinkles and birthday rings and hoped that they could add on something more his style. As you can see Gary (who is the manager) went so far above what I expected to get, especially because he was 15 min from his shift being over but still took the time to nail this cake to perfection! He took the rings off and added a handmade Fortnite banner in the front he also added a few of the characters and a tree to top it off with of course perfectly written Happy Birthday, my son loved it! Plenary of shared parking in the shopping center parking lot. It's located on a corner, allowing a few tables outside. They have a good selection of ice cream cones, cups, milkshakes, and cakes. BUT this Asian chick gives the worst customer service ever and keeps rushing us even though there's no customers in the store. I usually frequent the baskin robbins at Crocker Village but happened to be in the area so I went to this location. The prices here are a bit more expensive than Crocker village, but their scoops of ice cream are bigger :). I came here on a Monday night and was immediately greeted by the young woman working there. She was very friendly and was patient with me while I contemplated which flavors to get. They didn't have the caramel macchiato flavor which I had gotten at a different location before so I ended up getting the nutty coconut and reese's peanut butter cup and they were both delicious. I hadn't been to this location in a while but they gave a generous scoop. I paid $4.89 for a double scoop. Like I said, service was great. Both the young man and woman were very nice. The shop itself is a bit older and small. Parking is plentiful. read more

When you want to feel like a kid again... DECOR: This location is in a older plaza. It looks clean for the most part but I do feel like it is a bit crammed and there are probably germs lurking around in the corners. I hope they do deep cleanings of this location. FOOD: This is a chain...BR tastes the same no matter where you go. I always get the classics cookies and cream or rainbow sherbet. You can never go wrong with those flavors. I typically have to have a craving for BR as their ice cream is too sweet for me. I always admire the really pretty and creative ice cream cakes at this location. SERVICE: This location is employed by mostly HS students who attend the near by school. So I mean you get what you get. Some days they are friendly some days they are not. They really do not bother me too much because I just run in for a quick scoop and leave. My only complaint is that I think the employees should wear gloves when they scoop ice cream. When the ice cream tub gets near the bottom their hands touch the ice cream as they scoop (yes i over examine stuff). For the reason I really don't visit this location unless I am having a crazzy craving. Overall, this place is a Greenhaven neighborhood staple. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Yep its all about that yummy gooey trail of raspberry love that winds its way through the soft creamy vanilla ice cream. When a pint is hand packed there are gaps and crevasses where the raspberry goo and pecans hide. And the only way to find them is to dig in with that little pink spoon you get with the pint. Extremely disappointed and irritated. I called to order a birthday cake. I placed an order and then told the employee hat I would actually stop in later to make my final decisions. I told her it would be within two hours. She assured me that was fine. I show up, talk to the cake designer, who spends 30 minutes showing me photos on his phone of the endless design possibilities had I given him more than two days notice. He tells me how this store is different from all other Baskin Robbins and how distinguished they are. Fine. Dandy. He tells me I should go with a plain white sheet cake and I tell him to add two ice cream cones to either side. I pick up the cake and it's a white cake with a blue perimeter and sprinkles. NOT what I wasted 30 minutes of my life discussing. If that were the case, I could have picked a cake at random from the freezer section. Disappointed and now I don't have time to run around time making other arrangements. AND I paid for the cake in advance in cash! Ice cream in the 'burbs...who woulda guessed? From the front this place is just your average 31 flavor slangin' BR. Serving consistent flavors of all others that resemble this one. It is in a huge shopping center in the Greenhaven, which has various restaurants, a grocery store, and random massage parlors. The ONLY thing that differs with this place is they make these crazy, creative cakes. They have pictures posted of their detailed creations. I'm not even sure if they are ice cream cakes or just regular cakes, but I'm guessing someone there makes these. They are elaborate and creative. Just for example, I saw a picture of one which was a huge bowl of pho, with fish cakes and all. Super creative, on point, and definitely makes this BR stand out from the others. The two employees were nice and didn't bat an eye at our request for multiple tastes. They were sweet and courteous, even though they were trying to clean up for closing.
