Bay Colony Nails Spa in League City absolutely saved my nails! After a total disaster at the salon across the street, I came here hoping they could fix the mess--and they went above and beyond. The staff was kind, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They took their time to not only repair the damage but also made my nails look better than ever. Super clean space, relaxing vibe, and you can tell they genuinely care about their work. I won't go anywhere else from now on!

I don't write one star reviews often as I'm a firm believer in approaching all businesses with grace and understanding but I was beyond disappointed with my experience. I came across this nail salon on Instagram. The photos of the nail designs were very detailed and I was excited for my daughter to get something cute! Our pedicures were subpar, to say the least. The water was cold and I had to ask them multiple times to please warm our water because the 50° weather that day made us feel even colder. We chose a basic pedicure and a deluxe pedicure yet somehow they took an hour and a half to complete them. They made both us bleed from at least one of our toes. They also didn't start on our full sets so we had to spend additional time on that. We requested pretty simple designs. However, for some reason, the nail tech assigned to me was dead set on me getting what SHE wanted. Mind you, my request was a simple subtle French tip with an off white color and almond shaped. The nail tech was so rude. She kept telling me to just get white and I showed her and the front desk rep a photo multiple times. Finally when it came time to shape my nails she got upset because I asked her to shape them like in the photo which was almond. She told me to go get them done by someone else. I walked up to the front desk with super long nail tips and asked for them to be removed. Not to mention, once I got home I realized I was overcharged due to a "typo." They never even offered me a discount for the crappy service I received. I wish I knew the name of the nail tech. Regardless, I will not be returning. I was able to go to AMC Nails and Fabiola did my simple design without any issues.

I came back the next day bc I was too embarrassed to walk around not to mention it being uncomfortable and the owner absolutely REFUSED TO SOAK THEM OFF AND GIVE ME A FULL REFUND. Instead they offered 50% refund for the service or I could have someone else there fix them.... I let another tech redo/fix them. They did look much better but one of the nails popped off effortlessly next day and it was the same nail that popped off while the tech was filing my nails (bc it wasn't glued properly) SO I had to come in 3 times, 3 days in a row to get the same set fixed. The tech also tried to insinuate that my nail popped off because I have short nail beds but I've had my nails done dozens and dozens of times and they never pop off same day or week! This is never the case. I ended up paying $85 total for this plain black set because I tipped both techs for their time. My nails were still somewhat painful and had a too tight feeling the whole 3 weeks I had them on it was almost painful to pick up piles of laundry. On top of all this when I paid for the initial set my card declined in their system despite having well over the amount for the service and called to check the balance in front of the cashier on speaker phone. Anyways, I ended up using my actual banks debit card (Mastercard) to pay since for some reason assuming their system won't take visa prepaid cards like wisely etc. which is odd bc they are supposedly accepted everywhere visa's are accepted.

Haven't been here since back in the states. Upon walking in, there was silence. I walked to the counter where you sign in and no one said anything to me so I looked around to see if anyone was available. I seen 2 employees, 1 sitting at the manicure table talking to the other working who was eating a piece of fruit. They continued to talk. I made eye contact with them while at the front desk, no one moved, greeted me, or even walked towards me. Normally, I'd still stay for service I just choose not to this time around. It sucks looking forward to a pampered day and potentially being worked on by people who have no desire to serve you. After a few minutes of having a stare off contest, I finally walked out. I will not be returning here, but I do hope that for those who do- you're treated with great respect and friendliness. The old photos are from different visits. I use to frequent this place.

I went to a new salon by my new apartment & got a terrible purple set. I decided to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I came to Bay Colony Nail Spa & they were able to get me in right away even though the salon was packed & were super sweet ladies. But I asked for super square square & got rounded square which doesn't even cover the edges of the nails & the black gel polish started bubbling while it was in the UV dryer. At that point an hour & a half had passed & I needed to leave. Two ladies took to my hands at once trying to remove & redo the polish quickly which I do appreciate. But here I am maybe 7 days later & the polish has bubbled again but now peeling after my shower.

My nails were such a reasonable price. The nail tech asked me so many questions to make sure that he got my nails exactly how I wanted them. He was very nice and also I'm so glad that it didn't take like an hour and a half of me sitting in a chair. read more

April 3, 2024 Was in the area, and I needed a refill and pedicure. They did a good job on both. The only thing is... they didn't clean up...meaning, they didn't use the pointy drill bit tool to clean under nails, nor did they get the polish and glue off my hands Total before tip $85 read more

I had an appointment for a pedicure for 10:30am. I got there at 10:25am and they had nobody available to do my pedicure. I waited 30 minutes for my pedicure to even begin while they argued over who was doing to take care of me. My 25 minute service also took 40+ minutes and I was there for over an hour total. My nails aren't even smooth, they are bumpy and even seemed rushed. When I went to pay, I planned to tip on card in which they told me I had to pull money from the ATM to tip. You can only pull $20 bills so my $48 service then became $68 because I wasn't going to leave and just not tip! Will never return back to this establishment. I did not feel welcomed, I felt my service was rushed and I feel there was no reason to even have an appointment. read more

I have been going there for over 6 months. I get the same styles. I asked for 531 and the technician did not do it correctly but acted like I was crazy. The lady at the front acted like she could care less because I was not satisfied as a customer. Not happy at all. Probably my last visit there. read more

Absolutely in love with this place and the work Anne did on my nails!!! Everyone was so sweet and Anne spent about 3 hours just on me. I'm so incredibly lucky I found this place and kinda upset I didn't know about it sooner!! Totally worth the 30 minute drive! I have been going here for 5 years. Tu is my nail tech and does a very good job. My nails are beautiful and just as I ask. The salon is clean, neat and smells great. They always have cold water and wine available. They do speak Vietnamese to each other which is mildly annoying, but easily overlooked because everyone is so sweet. Their tools are alway taken out of an autoclave. So they are sterile. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. read more

Never again. Thought I'd give this place another shot after having a similar issue a couple of years ago. At check in I told the manager I wanted dip, in fact I showed her my current nails and said I want exactly what I have now. Which was an ombré French dip manicure. The tech tried to "fill" my dip with acrylic. I explained to her again that it was dip powder. She then wanted to fill the gap with dip. WTF? I asked her to please soak off my old dip and start fresh, shouldn't have to say that since that's how dip powder works. She then started to put acrylic on my nails AGAIN. I said please stop, I asked for dip yet again. It was very clear she had no idea how to do dip or to do a VERY basic ombré. In fact the manager came by and said that she'd never heard of a dip ombré. Ok! I why didn't she say that at check in? I was specific about request prior to any services taking place. It took 2 hours for a poorly executed dip manicure that ended with Shellac being applied for some unknown reason. Waste of money and time. The pedicure was great, that's why the three stars. If judgement was solely based on the manicure, it would be. 1 star. I should also state that 45 minutes later my nails are not fully cured. They are soft and flexible. read more

I wasn't happy with my nails at first but they did fix them when I went back. The owner even said she was sorry. The way businesses handle situations like that is important to me. I hate to ever be the one to complain.. it's hard for me to do. But they were nice about it. read more

I'm not satisfied with this portion but I would still recommend giving new management a try and perhaps request the owner. She has an awesome showcase of talent.

My regular person got started on me and after about 20 or 30 mins she cut my finger with the drill and it is nowhere near the cuticle line. I immediately went into tears. She didn't say anything immediately. As my finger bled I had to ask for alcohol and a bandaid. After about 10 minutes the owner came over and tried to say that it was because I should have gotten my nails soaked off instead of getting a refill. I told her to just take them off. She asked me to let my finger heal and come back another day. They didn't offer me any water or anything and still made me pay $12 to get my nails taken off and I am 7 months pregnant! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! I will not be returning!!

I wanted to find a place to try near Texas city that was good and reasonably priced. After some research this was one of the top places to try based on the pictures I saw. I came in around 5:30 and there was no wait. I got a French tip (white tip) full set and a French tip shellac pedicure. The environment overall seemed clean. I saw a few trash pieces on the counter but nothing too alerting. I got both services done at the same time. When I sat in the chair my water was cold which is a nail salon pet peeve! The lady scooped out a good amount of water and then added some warm water to the bowl. During the service I had to tell them what I wanted, after I told them what I wanted from the beginning. Overall the shaping was okay but could've been better. The pedicure turned out nice. Then when I was getting checked out, the receptionist came up to my chair and asked me for my card. I had to ask her what the total was because it wasn't communicated, she just expected me to hand over my card. The only thing I would've liked better: a cleaner shape, hot water, my techs to understand what I needed and to not be charged more than I expected without a price breakdown. (She told me 107 and I calculated 103) if there was a card fee I wish I could've known. I just wanted that to be communicated, for me it's about the principle. read more

Id give a 5/5 because the people are so nice, the prices are good and I had an overall great experience! I was seated right away and the girls didn't leave to work on anyone else which is amazing! I had a great experience, the women were kind and sweet. I would just say when you go ask for someone experienced if you're getting your nails done. If you're getting a pedicure ask for Kim she is great and did my toes so cute and the pedicure felt amazing! read more

I went in to have a refill and cut down. Helen did a beautiful job and without an appointment. This was my second visit to see Helen. She is great and has a very friendly attitude. I would recommend that you call ahead to make an appointment because she is very busy. She got me in quickly and was done in about 30 minutes. read more
