The interior is the only impressive thing about this place. Everything else falls exceptionally short of the level of food and service a place like this should have. My chicken entree was probably the worst chicken I've ever consumed at a restaurant - it was incredibly bland, not tender, and there was hardly any meat on it. I'm not kidding, there was actually 0 seasoning or marination on it. The service was incredibly slow: our entire dinner took 4 hours and it wasn't busy at all. When our entrees came out, they came piecemeal style and it was painful to sit through. The people that had gotten their food first kept eyeing their food because everyone was hungry, but chose to wait to be polite; it was about 5 minutes later until everyone actually had their food. Server was nice but things would just take forever to come out. Everyone else at my table seemed to like their food, so maybe I just picked the wrong thing? However, whether the chicken is their forte or not, a $29 chicken dish SHOULD NOT look or taste that bad. Overall Assessment: Overpriced food with some of the slowest service you might ever experience. Interior is super nice though and it was fun to look at all their rooms in towards the back of the building. Very modern and clean looking. I myself didn't pick this restaurant but it's evident why this place has such low ratings. Don't come here, despite how tasty the menu looks and how nice the interior is.

We stumbled upon this place after visiting the space exhibit across the street. The hostess was friendly and we were seated promptly. We were seated next to two loud birthday parties so that made us increase our conversation volume. Our waitress came over and pleasantly greeted us and was very honest about the menu with some suggestions. We ordered the plain Mac and cheese which okay not really creamy but definitely hot and fresh. Entrees were house made papperdelle and calbaza rostizada. They were okay, the butternut squash was a little hard which to me equals overcooked and calbaza had a total of four noodles with very small pieces of the veggies. Probably won't order either if we return.

A guy brought me here on a date. I loved the restaurant's interior design and the ambiance. The food was yummy too -I ordered duck and my companion ordered pasta. * Vine a este lugar para una cita. Me encantó el diseño interior del restaurante y el ambiente. La comida también estuvo deliciosa: yo pedí el pato y él pidió la pasta.

The moment you step in the delightful Pan-Latin restaurant Bazati on the Atlanta Beltline you're immersed in vintage French decor, marble, luxurious lighting, and a beautiful bar area with leather seats and lounge area! Upstairs is Estrello Rooftop with more pastel, light Latin vibes, vibrant patio, and mezcal behind the bar. This one-two punch of Latin dining is exquisite! Everything is elevated from their sensational cocktails like the floral Houdini, decadent decaf Tequila me Softy espresso martini, and the all-new tangy Wren's Nest. Then, phenomenal small plates from their loaded charcuterie board, creamy polenta, or their bright Strawberry Maple salad. Their entrees are sure to wow with their earthy Double Stuffed Ravioli, flavorful Brazilian Picanha, and our favorite, the juicy Pork Osso Bucco. Let's take a trip. We will kick it off with the trio of cocktails we tried: Houdini, Tequila me Softly, and Wren's Nest. The Houdini will disappear before your eyes as it is herbaceous, floral up front and balanced with bright and tangy on the back. So good! If you're looking for a new cocktail to try, go for the Wren's Nest that will be on their spring menu. It is boozy bourbon that starts warm and ends tangy and bright, slightly sweet watermelon shrub and a hint of ginger. It's complete. The favorite cocktail of the night was the DECAF Tequila me Softly espresso martini. Decadent and dark chocolate, bitter and creamy, this is sure to please all those coffee lovers out there. You couldn't tell it was decaf at all and no jitters! We will be back for more! On to the small plates that John and I shared from the charcuterie board, crispy polenta, and Strawberry Maple Salad. Starting with the loaded Charcuterie board that is stuffed with three meats with different flavor profiles, an array of cheese from soft to hard, salty, crispy almonds, sweet honeycomb, mixed berries, and crackers. After that we got the Crispy Polenta, which is our favorite of the small plates with a gamut of flavors from creamy to buttery to tangy to earthy and bright. The polenta bed itself is creamy and buttery with a crispy top, then it is topped with creamy and sharp cheese. A dollop of olive tempade gives it a slight earthiness to finish out the bite. Love. For our salad, we got the Strawberry Maple, which starts earthy and crunchy with the lettuce, and then is sweet from the maple, tangy from the strawberry. It is finished off with crunchy almonds and sharp blue cheese. In between the small plates and our entrees, we were treated to the seriously divine Double Stuffed Ravioli. Holy Truffle! Tender Handmade in-house ravioli stuffed with earthy mushroom and enveloped in a sea of creamy, truffle-forward sauce that will definitely WOW you. This is a must try dish bursting with flavor! Of the entrees, we got the phenomenal Pork Osso Bucco that is meat heaven with tender, fall off the bone pork, perfectly seasoned and surrounded by a moat of rich, savory jus and stuffed with eggplant, celery, and other root vegetables. It was the favorite dish of the day! John got the Brazilian Picanha that is flavorful and well-seasoned meat topped with a bright chimichurri, bright onions, and paired with crunchy fries. On the side we got two very good sides, one being the baby carrots and the other seasonal fiddle heads. The baby carrots are super sweet and candied and laid on a bed of creamy and sharp Greek yogurt. It is sweet and creamy and sharp, a winning combo. Then, fiddle heads are something neither of us had ever had before. They're naturally foraged tops of ferns that have not blossomed yet. They taste a lot like asparagus but have a flowery, fluttery texture up front with a good crunch on the end. They're amazing! These are cooked with butter and oil and really taste fresh and light! Finally, we got a pair of delicious desserts, the Tres Leches cake and the Tiramisu. The Tres Leches is super moist and mellow with a delightful light frosting, topped with fruit. The tiramisu is seriously rich and creamy, dark chocolate notes, boozy, drenched lady fingers with so much flavor. We'd recommend you stay for dessert.

I came here today (April 19 , 2022) a Wednesday at 5 pm and they told me that happy hour is only from 2pm - 5pm (advertising 2-7 on Instagram) the service was absolutely terrible! With there being only three tables in the entire restaurant (1 including ours) from the time we got there til the time we left,, it took 15 minutes for a server to come greet us, and 20 minutes to get two glasses of wine (New Zealand sav. Blancs( great wine btw)) after that we lost our appetite due to the long wait and poor service. I would be lying if I said I wouldn't want to try it again but the service has to be better if you expect people to pay the price of this menu and be FOREVER CLIENTS

$15 for this tiny drink. But it was tasty.

Nice location. Music was great. Staff was nice. But at $15 for maybe four ounces of cocktail in a plastic cup, I doubt I would return.

Drinks were good but the food was just okay and the service was a bit slow when we sat outside.

My favorite go to spot for drinks and occasionally food. the wait time is typically pretty fast and as i've stated before the drinks are always top tier. the rooftop is a plus but i've never tried the food as it is different from the first level's bar/kitchen. I think i'll try the rooftop food the next time that i visit.

After a not being able to snag a table at illuminarium, we were going to the brewery but thought the food here would be more appealing. There were plenty of open tables and we were promptly greeted and seated. Our server came and introduced herself almost immediately. If the review was for the server, she'd get 5 stars. However, the food fell short of expectations. I ordered a vegetarian dish (can't remember the name right off) and a side of Mac and cheese. The entree was mediocre and the Mac was dry and tasteless. The ambiance was nice but the food wasn't good enough to return.

It's a cool spot to grab a margarita & relax. They have a very nice outdoor patio with nice views of the beltline. You can chillax & people watch as you sip your fav drink. You can also checkout their expansive menu. You're bound to find something you like. Grab a drink & explore the views of the ATL beltline.

Auto gratuity ALREADY included but then it asking you to "add a tip" shame

Our server was very nice and she's the only reason for 1 star because if I could leave 0 stars I would. The law states Automatic Gratuity is not mandatory. Although establishments apply it to checks, you are not required to pay it. It's just a suggestion. So Automatic gratuity is added to parties of 4 - FOUR !!??? Then when you pay, the system prompts you to add an ADDITIONAL 22% LOL!!! So robbing customers is a way to "Thank them and invite them back" ?! YOU ALL SHOULD BE ASHAMED! The food runners/helpers were rude and acted annoyed with life because they have to work. It was very weird. Wine served in a chipped glass and cut my friends lip. I told her she should have taken a picture of the glass and her lip then submitted it to the owners and the state, esp the health department. Salmon was "fishy" flavored ( Old ) Roasted potatoes looked like they were days old and dragged across the floor. The French toast is soggy- consistency like bread pudding 2 Filet Mignons ordered medium well but served burnt to a crisp and chewy. Buuuurrrrnnt. Pomegranate/Watercress salad has a million things going on. I thought maybe since it was DRENCHED in dressing it would taste like "something" but I was so disappointed. Just a soggy plate of bland. They keep the doors open the entire time and as soon as food was delivered, we spent the rest of our meal swatting them away. Thee WORST food ever. The owners should be embarrassed the place is run like this. Dirty dishes stayed on the table well after we were done eating. Waters not refilled. Not returning and reviewing on every platform available

This place is everything. The service! The ppl! The vibe! Location!

My friend arrived and took a moment to get her drink order. I placed a paella bowl order along with my friend drink. The paella came out and it was not cooked right, it was cooked with too much water so I could not even find the individual rice grains, needless to say I did not try to eat it. It got returned. I explained what was wrong with it and was told they were cooking more so I waited on the second batch. My friend was also finally able to order, she got the guacamole and she liked it. I got paella from the "second" batch and it looked a little better ONLY, I tasted it and it tasted like water, I tried the shrimp and it was water logged too so I just put it to the side and did not complain anymore. The beef empanadas were good, so was the chicken empanadas according to my friend. I also got a shrimp taco and a bbq taco, they were good just too little. The disc was as big as a mayonnaise jar lid not a good value for $4 each. I will not complaint about the drinks, those were good. That affected me the most was the wait. We had to try and make some type of contact with the bartender to order. I was getting upset so I asked for the check which took FOREVER to get. That was something else, I only looked that the items were correct and nothing else. I was not warned that 20% tip was added already so I double tipped. MY FAULT, I WILL NEVER go back.

Parking is not validated by the restaurant but there is a deck nearby with ample parking. Even from the outside, the restaurant is a vibe. It's got an indoor/outdoor thing going on which makes you feel like you've been transported abroad. It also means that it doesn't retain air conditioning... and they had a few industrial fans blowing. Great idea in theory but not so great in practice. The table where we were seated was uncomfortably close to other diners and felt cramped the entire time. We ordered three dishes to share and there was barely any room on the table. On the plus side, our server was lovely and took the time to ask us about our familiarity with Peruvian food and outline some standouts on the menu. I didn't mention this to him but the menu online doesn't seem to match what they had in person... for example I remember seeing a Colombian empanada option (which drew me there in the first place) on the website. Cocktails and food came out really fast. We had the ceviche mixto, octopus, and chaufa for food and I had the mango jungle water to drink. The prices were pretty high for the portion size of the food. The ingredients tasted fresh (the fish of the day was mahi mahi) and the flavor was there. The octopus had nice char but wasn't as tender as I would have liked. I'm not a big eater so these three dishes were enough for the two of us and we opted to go to the Asian bakery next door for dessert instead of getting something here. Honestly I would recommend Tio Lucho's hands down for ceviche and Peruvian cuisine. It was fun to try something new and different at Madre Selva but I just don't think the food measures up. Tio Lucho's is much closer to the Peruvian food that I know from my time living in Miami. I can't speak to the authenticity beyond that. Madre Selva did seem like it would be a lot of fun for a large group and/or when the weather is tolerable. The ambiance is incredible. On a related note... I don't think I've been down to the Lindbergh MARTA station since college and I was totally floored to see all of the restaurants and developments in the area (Tongue and Groove is still a thing?!). The benefit of going to Madre Selva is that you can take a stroll and visit some of the other nearby businesses as well.

I went on a holiday, which was super busy, but even so, service was prompt and attentive. I ordered a pasaflora to drink, which had a beautiful flower in it, queso blanco with chips, al pastor mushroom tacos, chochoyotes, and flan for dessert. Every single dish was inspired, layered with flavor, creative, and truly unique. The presentation was also lovely and each bite felt thoughtful and well-executed. I would order everything a million times over! One thing that especially stood out was the flan's texture, which was silky, delicate, and perfectly balanced. I was also pleasantly surprised to see fried green tomatoes on the menu. It felt like such a special nod to the restaurant's Southern location, blending regional influence in a really cool way. The owner was super nice, which made the experience even better. The decor is gorgeous and so inviting, with intimate, cozy lighting. The whole space feels clean, artistic, and thoughtfully designed. This is an amazing date-night spot that I truly hope sticks around for a long, loooong time. Everything about the atmosphere and experience makes it perfect for a special evening out. I'm already planning to go back and explore more of the menu, but based on my first visit alone, I might even dare to say this is the best vegan restaurant in Atlanta. The jury's still out, but I'm more than happy to keep doing the research to confirm!! lol Last thing I'll say is that I was so grateful not to have to wade through a bunch of non-vegan menu options to figure I it what I could actually order. I also don't have to wonder if my food was being cooked next to a slab of dead animal, which is not the case most places I go. So, thank you for being ALL vegan. The food is so good that there is no chance a non-vegan will feel they've missed out on meat anyway. Logistical stuff: I saw a little bit of street parking, but not a ton. Parking in the deck is definitely the easiest option. You could theoretically bike/skate the Beltline and just walk a couple of blocks to get there.
